10.5 keeps downloading same songs over and over. I just downloaded 10.5 Bought two songs. Now, whenever I open Itunes, it downloads the songs over and over.

Three times each so far. I hope I am not being charged each time. What is going on? Everytime I open it up, they download again and shop multiple times in my library. I sent them an e-mail. I better not get triple billed on each. This is a mess.

I have three PCs running WinXP Pro and iTunes 4.9, and on one of them, when I try to transfer songs to my iPod Shuffle it gets to about song #14 and restarts the transfer. It never finishes, and I can't seem to transfer more than 14 songs. Actually, I deleted the 14th and 15th songs from the transfer list, and it didn't help, so it's not corrupt data. It's either a transfer or time limitation, as it keeps happening around the same time each time. It's only on one computer, which isn't running anything notable that at least one of the other two isn't also running.
I tried going into the hardware profile and not allowing the computer to turn off that USB hub to save power, but that didn't help. Maybe I have to reboot for that to take effect? I wouldn't think so, but I'll follow up tomorrow.
I guess I'll have to use Winamp or some other third party solution. Too bad, up until now I really liked iTunes.
Oh, the time/data limit may be affected by the fact that I'm downconverting the songs to 128kbps, although there is also a chance that that could also have something directly to do with the restarts.
Ideas welcome!

I have not used iTunes for several weeks so the issue may not be related to the last Windows XP automatic upgrade. I have never had problems with iTunes in the past. Is this a real message or perhaps a virus?
Before I reinstall iTunes, any thoughts?

Restart the PC first.
If you're using Vista or 7, now head into your Uninstall a program control panel, select "iTunes" and then click "Repair".

You are right the Iphone is locked into the carrier softbank from Japan and its not the 3g model its the one before it, I am not sure what model.
If your iPhone is not the 3G model - it is the one before that, this means your iPhone is the first generation iPhone or the original iPhone, which WAS NOT sold officially by Apple in Japan. The first generation iPhone was sold officially by Apple in the U.S. as carrier locked with AT&T, in the UK as carrier locked with O2, in Germany as carrier locked with T-Mobile, and in France as carrier locked with Orange and as officially unlocked by Orange. The ONLY country where the first generation was sold as officially unlocked was in France, which is required by French law.
The original iPhone - the one before the 3G was not sold by Apple in Japan directly or through Softbank.
Did you purchase your iPhone from Softbank or from an Apple store in Japan ? If so, this would also mean your iPhone is carrier locked with Softbank since the iPhone is sold in Japan officially as carrier locked with Softbank only, and this would be the 3G or 3GS, not the original iPhone. This would also mean you are roaming internationally with Softbank with your iPhone in China. I recently upgraded my iPod touch 5th gen to iOS 7.1, and now whenever I open up my gamecenter, the "friends" and "games" tab never stop loading, and it also won't log in when I play games that use gamecenter. What can I do to fix this issue?

I have already tried turning the power off and back on, holding the home and power button for ten seconds and shutting it off that way, and disconnecting from the wifi. None if those fixed the problem. However, resetting all of the settings did actually fix this issue, but then when I turn the ipod off and on again the issue is back. I don't want to have to keep resetting the settings on a daily basis, so what else can I do to fix this bug? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I updated my iPad and now whenever I open an app it changes to upright and will not swing round to be on the side. Can I undo this?

If the app is to be used sideways it's fine but things like Facebook, the internet or Skype won't go sideways now. Some things I do online need to be sideways. It won't be a problem if you delete your extra copies.
I don't download very much to my tv, I do sometimes if I'm in bed but usually I do it from itunes. However if you have not fully downloaded something to the tv it is possible to start the download from itunes as well, you have likely activated 'check for downloads fin itunes in some way, could be by opening itunes, selecting 'check or downloads' from the advanced menu or that you simply have automatically check for downloads set in your prefs and it has checked coincidentally.

I could not find an option to "report a problem".
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the item that is not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the entry, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" link next to the item.
(Not entirely sure what happens after you click that link, but fingers crossed it should be relatively straightforward.)

Try closing iTunes and reset your iPad. After the iPad starts up, try the download again.
To close an app, drag the app up from the multitasking display. Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the iTunes app then swipe "up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copies of the dodgy tracks and try redownloading fresh copies. For instructions, see the following document:

Your songs will only be where you put them.
Did you copy them from the old drive or your backup copy of the old drive, to the new one?

Anyone still up? I just purchased from the itunes store for the first time, and don't know how to get them downloaded to my ipod.

Sigh.....really late and I want to go to sleep, but I just purchased some Itunes online for the first time, and I don't know how to download them to my ipod. It should keep asking for the password, because it's trying to check for purchases... As soon as you login, it will see you have pending downloads and create the downloads section on the left below Purchases under the Store section. Then it will start the music downloads there, as they will be listed one below the other.
You could just try to check your account balance or view your account and that will trigger a password request too. You can just click on that and say that now iTunes keeps asking for the password and ask him to help you with that. Trick would be to interrupt him so that he carries on with another task after, so he doesn't notice the download. Or you carry on with email or browsing which you were "busy" with when iTunes interrupted you for the password (stupid iTunes)
