-1013 Invalid valid value in Enum BoTaxTypes

I know this post is similar to a thread started on Sept 4, but it was regarding a draft document & the BoYesNo enum and the answers given in that thread do not help me.
I am trying to update a PO that I just created to change it's confirm status to no  (using the BoYesNO enum).  The update does not occur and I get the message "-1013 Invalid valid value in Enum BoTaxTypes"
My code looks like this:
         lretcode = vPO.Add
               If lRetCode <> 0 Then
                    'Check Error
                    oCompany.GetLastError(nErr, errMsg)
                    rtncde = -2 'SBO PO Add failed
                End If
                ' Check to see if the SBO Order total matches the WEBi Order Total
                Dim docentry As Long
                docentry = oCompany.GetNewObjectKey()
                If vPO.GetByKey(docentry) Then
                    If vPO.DocTotal <> POH.DocTotal Then
                        rtncde = +6 'SBO Order total does not match the WEBi Order Total.
                        'vPO.Comments = vPO.Comments.Trim & vbCrLf & "Totals Don't Match"
                        vPO.Confirmed = SAPbobsCOM.BoYesNoEnum.tNO
                        lRetCode = vPO.Update()
                        If lRetCode <> 0 Then
                            'Check Error
                            oCompany.GetLastError(nErr, errMsg)
                            rtncde = +5 ' po update failed
                        End If
                    End If
                End If
I have tried just changing the comments on the PO instead of changing the confirmed property and I get the same message.
The PO is added successfully and I can go into the client and clear the "approved" check box on the logistics pane and update the record successfully.
Does anyone have any ideas?  - THANKS!

Hi John,
Your code works on the US demo DB with some internal build of the next patch for 2005 SP01 (which is currently going through the QA process)!
I should be published "soon", but I cannot give you an exact date.
Sorry.

    I've added ordres through the DI Server with no errors, but modifying them raises an exception.
    Anyone who know what the "Invalid valid value '' in Enum 'BoYesNoEnum'" is? Here is some simple XML:

    Ah, finally solved it, after ALOT of debuggin!
    After adding the following line:

  • Encountering Error in webadi : "&Value is invalid. Enter a valid value for the Mapping column &Column"

    We are having a custom WebADI, containing a field (Employee Name) which is a LOV.
    The LOV has ID : Person ID, Meaning : Employee name, Description : Position Name.
    There are multiple records with same Employee name but different Person ID.
    If I select an Employee in the LOV which has multiple records (through different IDs), I am getting an error in WebADI:
    "Enter a valid EMPLOYEE_NAME.
    XX is invalid. Enter a valid value for the Mapping column EMPLOYEE_NAME"
    The Query for the LOV is correct and is returning correct records.
    Any pointers on this issue highly appreciated.

    Hi,
    The problem could be with HR security profile attached to the responsibility from where you are launching the spreadsheet. Check it once.

  • Popup Key LOV, NULL and "Invalid numeric value undefined for column"

    Hello.
    I've created an item based on database column of NUMBER type and set the following properties:
    Display As = Popup Key LOV (Displays description, returns key value)
    List of values definition=select 'display_value' d, 1 r from dual
    Null display value=%
    Null return value=
    Display Null=Yes
    When I select "%" in the LOV and try to apply changes to database I get error:
    ORA-20001: Error in DML: p_rowid=1781, p_alt_rowid=N1, p_rowid2=, p_alt_rowid2=. ORA-20001: Invalid numeric value undefined for column N2
    Error Unable to process row of table TTT.
    If I set Display As = Select List, all works fine. But I need Popup Key LOV.
    Could anybody help me?
    I use Application Express 2.2.1.00.04

    Hi all,
    I did my homework and solved this issue. First I would like to thank Patrick Wolf for the invaluable help he gives out on thread Re: Null value handling in LOVs The code presented here is just a minor edit to his code, but an essential one when dealing with Popup Key LOV items.
    Here's what I did:
    1. Create an Application Process.
    Name: RemoveNulls
    Sequence: 0
    Point: On Submit: After Page Submission - Before Computations and Validations
    Process Text:
    BEGIN
        FOR rItem IN
          ( SELECT ITEM_NAME
              FROM APEX_APPLICATION_PAGE_ITEMS
             WHERE APPLICATION_ID   = TO_NUMBER(:APP_ID)
               AND PAGE_ID          IN (TO_NUMBER(:APP_PAGE_ID), 0)
               AND LOV_DISPLAY_NULL = 'Yes'
               AND LOV_DEFINITION   IS NOT NULL
               AND LOV_NULL_VALUE   IS NULL
        LOOP
            IF (V(rItem.ITEM_NAME) = '%null' || '%' OR V(rItem.ITEM_NAME) = 'undefined')
            THEN
                Apex_Util.set_session_state(rItem.ITEM_NAME, NULL);
            END IF;
        END LOOP;
    END;Error Message: #SQLERRM#Condition: None
    2. You should be able to submit a Popup Key LOV with a NULL value now.
    Once again, THANKS, Patrick! You rock! I'm seriously thinking of trying ApexLib now :)

  • Invalid parameter value Error while Extending PoReqDistributionsVO

    Hi,
    My Requirement is to restrict user from enetring certain values in a field in iProcurement Page based on some condition. The attribute on which I have to place the validation is CodeCombinationId and the VO name is PoReqDistributionsVO. So, I extended the VO and generated the VORowImpl class for the extended VO. Please note that I have extended the VO just to override the setter method for the CodeCombinationId in the VORowImpl. I did not change any other thing on the VO. Once I deploy the code, I am getting the following error for the first time:
    ## Detail 0 ##
    oracle.jbo.InvalidParamException: JBO-25006: Invalid parameter value PoReqDistributionsVO for source passed to method ViewLinkImpl.setSource. Explanation: view def mismatch
    And then if I try to open the page again, it gives me multiple distribution lines. (Say for example I have only one distribution line for the requistion line and my distribution table PO_REQ_DISTRIBUTIONS_ALL has total 20 records, then all the 20 records are getting displayed in the front end.)
    So, clearly after I extended the VO, the viewlink is not able to identify the viewlink.
    I went through the following thread:
    oracle.jbo.InvalidParamException: JBO-25006: Invalid parameter value
    As suggested in the therad, I thought of copying all the view link related methods from the original VO files. But, I could not get any Viewlink related information in any of the three seeded files PoReqDistributionsVO.xml, PoReqDistributionsVOImpl.class and PoReqDistributionsVORowImpl.class. But I can find one View Link oracle.apps.icx.por.req.server.ReqLineToDistributionsVL in teh server which is linking PoRequisitionLinesVO to PoReqDistributionsVO.
    Could anyone suggest me what I need to do to resolve the issue.

  • How to clear invalid item value?

    Hi, All.
      I have two items: selectOneChoice and inputComboboxListOfValues. The second item list of values depends on the first item selected value. When the value of the first item is changed, the second item should be reset. I do this by
    calling setValue(null) on the second item. The partialTriggers property of the second item is set to the first item id. If the second item has a valid value, then everything works well. But if the second item has an invalid value, for
    example, the user after entering an incorrect value, clicks on another item, the setValue(null) does not reset the value.
      Moreover, it is possible that a user saves to the database invalid data. For example:
      1. Select a valid value on the second item.
      2. Remove some characters making the invalid value.
      3. Go to some other item by clicking the mouse.
      4. Change value in the first item. (At this time will invoke setValue(null), and the list of values of the second item will change.)
      5. Edit the value in second field to the value set in the first paragraph (this value is not valid after changing the value in the first element).
      6. After that the document can be saved, no further checks are not happening.
    Version of JDeveloper is 11.1.2.4.
    How to set null value and how to ensure that in the second item it was impossible to enter not valid value?
    Regards,
    Alexey

    OK, I looked into the issue. There are two problems:
    1) your data model does not check the entries in the SOME_DOCUMENTS. You only check the FK against the master tables. You need to check if hte combination of the keys are valid. On solution would be to use model driven dependent lov. Check Andrejus Baranovskis's Blog: Cascading LOV's in JDeveloper 11.1.2.3.0 for a sample. Next the VO you use is based on multiple EO which is not necessary if you use Andrejus's approach.
    2) There might be a bug in the af:inputComboboxListOfValues in this scenario when you you allow to enter values (or parts of it) in the inputText. However, if you validate the keys correctly, you can't insert something invalid. This problem has it's root in your data model. If you use the dependent lov and don't allow user input you can't change the selected value to something invalid. So my advice is to use dependent lov and don't allow input in the inputComboboxListOfValues (set editMode='select'), the user can still search or select the value, but only the valid ones.
    The inputComboboxListOfValues error need some more investigation which need more time. I'll see if I find out something more.

  • CRS-5008: Invalid attribute value: ce0 for the network interface

    Hi all,
    we try to install grid infrastructure 11GR2 (11.2.0.1) into Solaris Zone with shared network interface.
    We also modified scirpt racgvip, so it will be able to login (via ssh with key authorization) to the global zone and add or remove interface on zone. Script itself works fine.

    Or may be there are some ways to track how orarootagent checks?

The 3rd field is a date field and therefore the corresponding date field on the form has a calender icon on its right side. i choose a date from this calender and when i hit the update button i receive this message:

    Hi,
    Could we get you to change 1010319 to a meaningful handle -- I'm Howard.
    In order to give helpful answers, we usually need more information including as much relevant information as possible upfront. This should include:
    Full APEX version
    Full DB/version/edition/host OS
    Web server architecture (EPG, OHS or APEX listener/host OS)
    Browser(s) and version(s) used
    Theme used
    Template(s) used / modified -- (Revelant/important for some problems.)
    Region/item type(s)
    and more detail about what you want to do.
    Are you using ARP (Automatic Row Processing)?
    Do you do any validations?
    Could you make a trival 1-page application on apex.oracle.com duplicating the problem there?

    Can you help?
    Thanks

    Hi Annamaria.
    Do you create the priority RE_HIGH in CUP?
    If yes then what is the workflow type you have defined? It must be ERM.
    Whether your workflow for role approval is created in CUP?
    If not then create it with the name ROLE_APPROVAL with folowing value -
    Workflow type = ERM

    AND..........................Priority.............RE High
    AND..........................Request Type...RE Role Approval

  • Error while attaching document to report on Portal - Invalid selection valu

    Hello All,
    We are running our reports on Portal and as per the business requirement the users have to create comments or attach documents to certain amounts in certain columns and once they create the comment a document icon shows up near that amount (for example there are 3 columns Budget, actual, balance then the user have to create comment for some amounts which needs explanation) they do that from context menu  Documents -> Create new Comment.
    Now we want those documents to be saved on Infoprovider level and not on master data for any particular object. We have activated the flag "Characteristic is document property" on related infoobjects. We have the flag to display document icon on Infoprovider active in the web template. Now when I run the report I am able to create new comments on first two columns and when the report refreshes it shows me icon near that amount but it gives me errors on third column after the report refreshes itself. Now when I go in portal KM repository where documents are stored I do see the document that I created for the third column as well so looks like the document is getting created and being stored but the issue is when it tries to display the icon on that third column.
    The error I get is this:

    Hi!
    Have you solved this problem? I have the same problem after a SPS implementation (SPS 17). The message appears when we select a single value in a DP (hierarchical filter item) that filters another one, but when I select a node it doesn't.
    Before the patch implementation the apliccation worked ok.
    Any idea?

  • LOV in a Table - "Not a valid Value" - Urgent

    Hi All,
    I have an LOV inside a Table region. The table has the Add another row button. considering the table has currently 3 rows created and the user enters a dummy value not present in the LOV in the first row and tabs out. The LOV automatically pops up without any values. The issue is when the user closes the pop-up window or clicks on its cancel button. The LOV doesn't validate the data present in the text box. If the Submit button is clicked or the save button is clicked , The framework automatically validates the data present in the text box and throws an error "Not a valid value" .
    Now im not sure why but the dummy data entered in the first text box is copied to the second and third text box , and the error is displayed for all the three rows. If there is valid data present in the remaining rows it just over-writes the data with the dummy value.
    I have written SOP's in the controller's Process request as well as the process form request but none of them seem to display anything.
    So the framework is basically validating this before the controller is called.
    Im working on a 11.5.10 instance.
    Need help to know if anyone has come across such a situation before.
    Thanks ,
    Dean

    Dean,
    Seems to be a looping issue. Also you need to get the exact error row.
    Thanks

    second and subsequent iterations have the refnum NULL.  See images
    below.

    Is there any chance that the Insert Data Into Excel VI is closing the reference or that it is closed anywhere else (e.g. through a local or by having its owner destroyed)?
    I wouldn't expect the numeric value of the reference to change to 0, but since ActiveX is an external resource, I suppose that it's possible that the probe shows the number only if the resource is actually accessible.

  • What are the valid values for CPU in conditional disable structure config?

    After diggin' around for some time (but to no avail)...
    Does somebody know the valid values for the CPU (symbol) in the conditional disable structure configuration or where I can find this information?
    Best regards,
    Horst
