10gR2 RDBMS required packages - Solaris patch 112760 is not installed

Run RDA before 10gR2 installation:
Test [ FAILED ] : Patch 112760 is not installed = adequate
Trying to apply this patch:
# patchadd -d /export/home/~/patches/112760-18
Checking installed patches...
One or more patch packages included in
112760-18 are not installed on this system.
Patchadd is terminating.
From the readme file, it is trying to apply a patch for a C compiler, which you don't have on this system.

Not sure why oracle would require this patch when the system doesn't have a licensed compiler on it. Can anybody explain why this is the case?
According to Oracle, patch 112760 for Solaris 8 and Solaris 9 is required for:
PL/SQL native compilation, Pro*C/C++, Pro*FORTRAN, Oracle Call Interface, Oracle C++ Call Interface, Oracle XML Developer's Kit (XDK).
Unfortunately I am not sure if I should be concerned with this particular patch.
Please advice.

Hi,
I have many ORA-7445 in RMAN ( CATALOG DATABASE ) with native database.
The DATABASE is also in AL32UTF8 character set.
I received the same stupid support answers.
Can you made the following command on the core.
plimit process_id
and
pmap on the core file.
For an obvous raison the stack is limitied to 32M on solaris it's part of the Oracle excutable
Check the stack process limit:
plimit 27135 | egrep '27135|stack'
27135: oracleariane (LOCAL=NO)
stack(kbytes) 32768 65536
plimit 4335 | egrep '4335|stack'
4335: /opt/oracle/product/10.2.0_64/db_1/bin/tnslsnr listener_ariane -inheri
stack(kbytes) 65536 65536
Oracle executable limite the stack size to 32M even it can grow up to 65M.
Its father listener has n't set this limit in the case 65M.
FACT THAT IS THE LIMIT:
pmap core | grep stack
FFFFFFFF7E000000 32768K rw--- [ stack ]
That is the same as the shadow process limit.
FACT THAT THE SETRLIMIT IS USED N ORACLE
nm $OH/bin/oracle | grep setrlimit
