2/3 Glaspanes over eachother, with a JPanel at the bottom.

Hi all!
I wonder if it is posible to have a JPanel (with gifs, jpgs etc) and two/three GlassPanes(with gifs, jpgs etc) over eachother for use i games etc.
I have succeded of creating this with one window, but i have five or six windows but i only want the glaspane to effect one window, since i dont wanna lock all the windows.. is this possible at all with swing?
Becouse everytime I add a glass pane to a window the things in it(behind the glaspane), disapear. Any ideas?

problem is that I can only view eather the content of GameBackground, Layer1, layer 2 or layer3 at once. I would like to at least show the background who is a JPanel and at least one glas panel over it at the same time, but I cant!!
I try to add use GameBackground.add(layer1), but if I do that the the old things added to GameBackground is over written. All the glass and JPanel are setOpaque(false).

Ff comes on, I go to site w/ pics the screen goes black & then w/ with a bubble from the bottom saying recovery from igfx display failure..Chr & Op = OK

Firefox comes on, I go to a site rich w/ visual content & then the screen goes black & then white w/ with a bubble from the bottom bar saying recovery from igfx display failure..this used to happen on my Chrome browser (the Chr browser recovered spontaneously But I removed & reset it... still the problem went on & I quit using Chr for2-3 mos. There never was a problem on Opera. Hey! OPERA rule. As foe IE 8. That instrument is completely useless. Even all areon IE appears to be dead...Thanx!

Try disabling hardware acceleration in Firefox.

Error popup im not sure if its to do with firefox , a box appears with a looks like a film icon with several dots in the bottom

i have a persitant error popup whilst on my computer , it looks like a film icon and has several dots in the bottom of it , i have tried to investigate but come up with no solution , when i use firefox to clean my comp there is lots of mgbites for this error message , so i have taken google of and that seems to have stopped the error message in the ccleaner but it still keeps popping up , can anyone solve this for me

First, let me thank you again for your time and attention to my inquiry. I do wish Firefox and the Mozilla community well -- and I would agree that not nearly everyone who has downloaded version 4 has complained.
OTOH, I don't know what your multiplier is -- that is, how many downloaders on average actually having some kind of problem it takes for one of them/us to find it worth her/his time and trouble to input complaints this way. And thousands of messages does also still add up to quite a number of different problems. And my PC is old enough that it is perhaps more susceptible to problems and limitations.
So I have downloaded version 4 -- but I'm not planning to install it immediately . . . not until I have the time and patience accumulated to handle installation and its problems, whether they're teething problems or teasing problems or absolute lockdown/drag-out fights.

I think it looks great and for a first site - quite
incredible really -
you seem to have a fairly good grasp on what's going on with
the code
and (you may get crit for using absolute positioning) you
also seem to
have a grasp on relative and absolute positioning.
One wee thing I see (sorry don't have time to trouble shoot
for you) is
a slight layout difference between IE and FF - possibly a
double margin
bug - a bigger gap between the centre and the right columns!
Oh - and you might want to consolidate your css - shift the
embedded
styles to your linked sheet.

The airport icon (upper right portion of the screen) says I am connected to my airport; but, I don't get the icon on the Itunes window (rectangle with a triangle at the bottom of it) that allows me to select the stereo that is connected to my airport?

If the modem is also a router, either use the modem in bridge and run pppoe client on the TC.. that is assuming ADSL or similar eg vdsl. If it is cable service.. and the modem is a router, then bridge the TC.. go to internet page and select connect by ethernet and below that set connection sharing to bridge.
Please tell us more about the modem if the above gives you issues.

When clicking on a link within a pdf nothing happens. When I mouse over the link the cursor turns into a finger/hand with a W at the bottom.

Both Adobe and Firefox are on the lastest versions. Clicking on the link deosnt bring anything up.

Does this only happen if you open the file embedded in Firefox and not when you open the external Adobe Reader (Tools > Options > Applications) ?

Only my Mail Inbox doesn't work with iOS5. Sent, Bulk, Trash, and Draft works fine. I don't receive new emails, yet if I go to see my mail via Safari/Yahoo/Mail all the new emails are there. So it is clearly an iOS5 issue. I did a hard restart holding the On/Off and Home key, I delete the account and reinstalled, i disenabled iCloud and nothing seems to work. Any other ideas or do I wait for Apple to release 5.01 to fix all the mess they made.

All seems okay with host, user name and password. Server port is fine, though my 3G model has has multiple servers and the Wi-Fi version only has one. I even brought it to an Apple store while traveling in The Netherlands. They had no other suggestions.

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

trying to install win7 over bootcamp with usb flash drive, the partition is not accepted under windows although its formatted ntfs, there is shown a faillure which could be read in the logs of win install but i don't find them. Tried at least five times to reinstall / reformat

Getting Autoscroll Interface to work with JScrollPane/JPanel

I got drag and drop working with a JPanel extended class.
JScrollPane -> JPanel
My JPanel is a DropTarget. I want the viewable portion on that JPanel to have an Insets object associated with it. How would I do that?
I originally associated the Insets object with the JPanel. Problem was that a lot of the JPanel can be obscured. So if the top is hidden it doesn't realize it is at the edge. I tried associating an Insets object with the JScrollPane and with the JScrollPane's JViewport with limited success. But I ran into similar errors. I may be on the right track with some of this. Not sure.
I would appreciate any help if anyone has done this before.
Regardless of the ways I am attempting, if you had a JScrollPane with a JPanel (and the JPanel was your DropTarget), how would you implement the autoscrolling? Esp. in regards to the Insets object?

The following code will autoscroll almost any drop target, not sure what insets you are talking about though.
