2 NEW ERRORS: New Version BREAKS Existing Sites

ERROR #1: "Specified Host Directory does not map to your site (URL)"
Went to set up a new site today as I may actually have another person (guinnae pig) willing to try this out.
Here's the steps:
Admin Panel--> Add Site
Entered site info, FTP info
Entered Host Directory... I used "/" as usual
I got this message:
ERROR #2
Then I go to an existing site, (here's the steps)
I was able to login to the Home Page to edit it via the Admin Panel...
Clicked "EDIT"
Got this Message:

I see in the release notes that ICE now reads all sites www.mysite.com as mysite.com
PROBLEM.... here's what we use in ALL our htaccess files
RewriteEngine on
rewritecond %{http_host} ^mysite.com
rewriteRule ^(.*) http://www.mysite.com/$1 [R=301,L]
Changing this is NOT an option!!!

Your links to the includes/ice/ice.js on the site subpages are incorrect.
<script src="includes/ice/ice.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
Should be:
<script src="../includes/ice/ice.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
...since your includes files are off of the root directory.
So, say for instance you have a subdirectory off of another subdirectory (e.g., subdir/anothersubdir/) the link to the includes for that page would need to read as such:
<script src="../../includes/ice/ice.js" type="text/javascript"></script>

How to uncheck "Add as a new version to existing files" inside the "Add a document" dialog

I am working on a publishing site collection using the enterprise wiki template. Currently when users want to insert an image inside the rich text editor, they will be prompted with the following:-
And if the user insert a picture that already exists then it will replace the existing one, which might cause the picture to be displayed inside a Wiki page which it does not belong to !!
So is there a way to do any of the following:-
Give the new picture a unique auto generated name?
To un-check the   “Add as a new version to existing files” by default?
Or to always prevent replacing images, as this can cause many conflicts !!
Can anyone advice ?please?

Problem in creating new versions for existing DIR using CV01N

I am working in SAP ERP 6.0 EHP 4.0 system.
I have problem in creating new versions for existing DIR using CV01N
I create a DIR version 00 with functional location and mpd cycles. Then when i try to create a new version by copying the contents created from already created document.I change the MPD cycles in the new version and save it.
once when i display the first document created the mpdcycle specified in version 01 is copied to the 00 version.
The document is inconsistent where versioning of document doesnot work properly wrt MPDCYCLE and MP HEADER.
The problem which i found was the document identification guid remains the same for all the document versions getting created.
The same is working fine in SAP ERP6.0 EHP3.0 sytem.
Please someone help me in resolving the above issue.

There is a change in the standard code.The reason for the above problem was because of a missing Enhancemnet point in a standard function module 'CV110_DOC_CREATE_WITH_TEMPLATE'.

Created a custom enhancement point similar to SAP ECC6.0 EHP 3.0 system.
The reason was the buffer was not getting cleared previously.After inserting the above code the DIR's are getting created withot any issues.

Apps found in Itunesmedia/mobile application are duplicated in Itunesmedia/automatically add to Itune/mobile application. Could cause the message "a newer version already exists"?

Does any one have a solution as to why I keep getting the message saying " a newer version already exist" when i syn my ipod touch.

Problem setting up DVD or CD Sharing Setup - newer version already exists??

Dudes,
Just trying to set up install DVD or CD Sharing Setup on my MacBook so I can use Remote Disc on the Air, but have got this message on the Select A Destination screen:
"You cannot install DVD or CD Sharing Setup on this volume. A newer version of this software already exists on this volume."
I don't understand, as I have not installed this software yet. How can a newer version of it already exists on my MacBook?
The only thing I can think is that perhaps they included it as standard in 10.5.6, which I have on my MacBook?
Can anyone help at all?

That software is bundled with the current Mac OS X version. Proceed as if it was already installed.

everytime I plug in my iPad or iPhone to my PC I get numerous dialogue boxes stating that "A newer version of this app already exists on this device do you want to replace it with the older version" then I have to click "No" on all thirty nine apps, THREE times. How do I make this stop?

Cannot install program because newer version already exists?

Hello,
I'm trying to install fontographer but it says it cannot install on this disk because a newer version of the program is already installed.
I find this quite strange because I've completely removed every single file of the other version, but still it says it's installed.
Anyone knows how I can solve thi problem?

Use the developers method to completely uninstall the newer version of the program.
Sometimes a program will leave it's preference files because you might be uninstalling and reinstalling the same version to fix a software issue. The older version see's the newer version preference files and gives the errors.
Use the free Easy Find and find the programs file(s) and/or just remove them from your ~/Library/Preferences folder by Finder > Go to Folder > /Library/Preferences
There may be files in other locations as well. Perhaps it's best to ask the developer where all the files are for completel removal.

"A Newer Version Already Exists" message when installing Dragon Stop Motion

I'm trying to install an earlier version of Dragon Stop Motion. But I can't because the installer says that I have a newer version installed on my harddisk. I have googled the issue and found out that I should erase related files in the "Receipts" folder. That didn't work, nor AppZapper and AppCleaner. What should I do?

New Column Breaking Existing PLSQL

My PLSQL contains many statements like this:

data NUMBER;

SELECT .. FROM ... WHERE col1=data;
END;
where col1 is a column name and 'data' is a variable named without the v_ convention. And this is the problem. If I add a new column called 'data', the above code will break since 'data' is now interpreted as the name of a column.
Are there any ways to guard against this error when adding new columns? I don't know how the existing code name the variables, and it is practically not possible to inspect all existing code manually.

In that case, give the column a name that is hard to appear as a variable in your code:
something like <TABLE_NAME>$<COLUMN_NAME> for your new column:

In Designer, old application system disappears after New version and ORA-01562

In Designer 2.1.2, after starting (RON 2.0.24.1.1) Application / New version,
error ORA-01562 occurred (because I have a smaller rollback segment on line).
Now I can't find in repository
old version (1) of my application system,
but new version (2) exists in repository.
Unchecking the 'Show Current Versions Only' check box doesn't help.
Even Designer API statement:
'SELECT id, name, version
FROM ci_application_systems'
displays only new version (2).
Means this that Designer:
- first changes old version number to new version number and commits
- and then copies new version to old?
How to return old version number (without Designer API)?

'When Designer versions it takes a snapshot of the first version
and then changes the originals version number to 2.
If designer run out of rollback segments while creating a new version
it will not show the old version again.
This is a bug (818860). It is in the resolution stage.'

BAPI_DOCUMENT_CREATE2 / BAPI_DOCUMENT_CHANGE2 - Create new version of a doc

How can I create a new version of an existing document using one of these two BAPIs. If it can't be done using one of these two (I tried several ways and don't think it is) then how can I accomplish this?

When versioning in enabled, the "Add as a new version to existing files" box is checked by default. I want it to be unchecked by default.
