2 printout copies from printer tray1,tray2..

I would like to take two printouts from the printer tray1,tray2.
Tray1 has one type of paper, Tray2 has one type of paper.
but same printout has to print with both the papers..how can I set my printer for this issue?

Hi,
There may be other options, but you could certainly achieve this by setting up a printer pool.
In transaction SPAD create two printers, both point to the same physical printer, but the Tray info tab is different.  One is set to tray1, the other to tray2.
Then create a pool printer in SPAD.  This is done in the same way as an ordinary printer, but you need to choose Edit -> Convert -> Device pool from the menu.  Here you can then list the two printers created above in the device poool tab, also select the radio-button 'Send to all devices in pool'.
When you send your output to the pool printer it will be printed to both trays.

Nick

  • Unable to print more copies from Photoshop CC 2014

I try to print more copies from file .dmg but printer print only one copies. I try to print with different printer (Ricoh & HP) but the problem still continuing
How con solve this problem? Is a bug of CC 2014? I never have this problem with photopshop CS4

Show how you used the print dialog capture the setting. From the position of copies in the print dialog it may be a setting that the  device driver is going to be responsible to use.  I have never set it to more then one I do multiple copies of image in documents that print on roll or sheet paper.
Do you have some add on for .dmg file type ?

  • Printer will only print from computer won't copy from printer

My  printer will only print items that i send to it from y email. when i walk out to the printer and try to make copies the pages all come out blank no matter if i use the document feeder or place them on the glass directly. i have turned it off and back on but the problem was not corrected.

    Hi @sandylouise,
Welcome back to the HP Support Forums! I see you are not able to make copies from the front panel of your HP Photosmart. I would like you to go ahead and perform a Hard Reset:
    1. Unplug all cables and memory cards from the printer. Unplug the power cord, directly from the back of the printer while the printer is still turned on.
    2. Unplug the other end of the cord from the power source.
    3. If there is a power module on the power cord, disconnect one end and reconnect it.
    4. After 60 seconds, plug the cord directly into a wall outlet (not a surge protector or battery backup as they can cause the printer to lose basic functionality over time).
    5. Plug the power cord into the back of the printer.
    6. The printer should automatically power back up. If it doesn't, turn it on with the power button.
    7. Try making a photocopy (if your printer is an all-in-on printer) before connecting any other cables to the printer.
    8. Connect any other needed cables to the printer.
If after the Hard Reset you are still unable to make copies, please call our technical support at 800-474-6836 as it may be the hardware. If you live outside the US/Canada Region, please click the link below to get the support number for your region.

  • Print preview is different from print in scripts

    Hi,
i am  having issue in alignment of sap script .i have adjusted my form output based on print preview .but when i am taking the output i  am having alignment issue .Not only that there are some missing column boundaries in printout.
Now i cant make alignment based on printout because i am having 12 column in output and its difficult to take printout everytime i check for alignment.

    Hi,
Please check whether the printer name is same in preview and printout generally we are checking the preview
on our windows printer(LOCL) where as your client may cheak the printouts in some other printer in your print
preview also please change the printer what he is using for printouts.
Some times margins may cut due to the settings in the printer we must maintain some space for borders.
Coming to your allignment point  the space for spaces  and fonts it may vary from printer to printer so
create multiple windows to design the text in the pattern you exactly required instead
everything in one single window or atleast write them in different lines and if possible avoid any spaces are there
    before your text.
    Thnaks,

HP Officejet 6500 (Wireless)- but using USB connection-Windows 7 (Home Prem).  If I ask it to print 2 copies from Foxit PDF editor it only prints one copy. The copies from my all-in-one are completely streaked with black ink.  I have attempted all the trouble shooting suggestions with no success.
Is there something else I should be aware about?

    Hi Scrabbler,
I would be happy to help you with the streaks you are seeing when copying from your printer. What printer do you have? How Do I Find My Model Number or Product Number?

  • Changing the Default No.of Copies in Print Window

    HI All,
How to change the default number of copies while printing in Print POP Up box for Standard Transactions for some specific users.
    Regards,
    Sudhir

    Hi Neeraj,
Thanks very much for the info! Unfortunately, when I get to the "MemberSelectionRowsPerPage" tab, I'm not able to change the default from 20. The "20" appears in blue numbers, and while I am able to modify the field, as soon as I click away from it, or click enter, or click refresh, it reverts back to "20". I've also tried modifying the number, and closing out the screen, but when I go back to the tab to check, it has reverted back to "20".
Is there a way to save this setting that I'm missing? Has anyone else seen this before?
    Thanks in advance!

  • Defaults to 3 copies of print item

have ti change manually to 1 copy wanted. defaults to 3 copies at print screen. cannot save to 1 copy . how to set default to 1 copy.

Welcome to the forum , I would be delighted to help you with changing your copy settings on your 8600 printer.  I actually found this information in the User Guide for your model; You can customize copy jobs using the various settings available from the printer's control panel, including the following: Number of copies, Copy paper size, Copy paper type, Copy speed or quality, Lighter/Darker settings, Resizing originals to fit on different paper sizes.  You can use these settings for single copy jobs, or you can save settings to be used as defaults for future jobs. To change copy settings for a single job 1. Touch Copy.2. Select the copy function settings you want to change.3. Touch Start Black or Start Color. To save the current settings as defaults for future jobs1. Touch Copy.2. Make any changes to the copy function settings, and then touch Settings.3. Touch the down arrow, and then select Set As New Defaults.4. Touch Yes, change defaults, and then select Done.  Please let me know if these steps resolved your issue, or if there is anything else I can do to help.  I look forward to hearing from you!  Thanks,

  • Restrict sensitive document leakage from Printing, "Save as", Copying and Priting screen?

Our President highly suspected some of our staff who have sold the confidential documents to competitors but we do not have enough proof. How can we restrict sensitive data leakage from Printing, "Save as", Copying and Priting screen?
Thank you for your advice in advance.

Adobe LiveCycle Rights Management can apply DRM to a PDF file, which prevents printing and content extraction, and links access to the document to a user login - but there is no way to prevent that user saving a copy of the file to disk or a USB drive, or making multiple copies, no from telling someone else their login details. You can revoke access remotely if you suspect a copy has been stolen, but there's no DRM solution for PDF files which can lock the content to a hardware platform, for example in the way a copy of Windows "activates" itself. Opening and copying a file are two entirely-different concepts, and if a LCDRM-encrypted file is published to the Web without the login details to open it, we can be absolutely certain it cannot be cracked as the encryption hashes used by Adobe are so complex they would take billions of years to break, even with government-level resources. Naturally if a user reveals their login details to someone, LiveCycle's audit trail will prove this and you can take legal action against that user, but they may not care if the document has sufficient value.
Using PDF there is no way to block access to the Print Screen button. Some third-party software converts the PDF into a proprietary file format which only opens in their own software, that in turn attempts to block the print screen keystroke, but it's not hack-proof and the resulting file is of course no longer a PDF. Ultimately if you can see something on screen you can always copy it, either by use of a custom display driver, remote-desktop system or photographing the screen with a cellphone camera, and re-OCRing the pages from those photos.
Where documents are sufficiently-important to require a guarantee that on-screen reading is the only possible thing a user can do once the file is opened, they should be restricted to using hardware in secured locations, where network access, printers, USB ports etc. can all be removed. This is the approach taken by many enterprise and public-sector agencies; but once a document is distributed to an unregulated location there will always be a way around copy protection on page content if a user can open the file and view it on screen. While there are some interactive page elements in PDF which are harder to "screen scrape" than others (SWF, video and 3D), it can be done. The only elements of a PDF file which can be guaranteed secure even in an unsecure location are invisible features such as scripts when the PDF is protected using LCDRM to ensure it cannot be opened in third-party software.

  • Blank pages from printer

    I have a Mac, os X Yosemite, version 10.10.1
My printer is HP F4280 Deskjet All-in-one
I changed my printer ink and now all I get is blank pages. I have tried copy/ scanning and printing a test page, all are blank.
I have updated my drivers and still get blank pages?
    Thanks for any help.

Welcome to the HP Community @TN4444,
I understand you have changed your ink cartridges in your Deskjet F4280 and now all scans, copies, and print outs are blank. I sure will try to help!
Because you mentioned copies and scans are also blank, this makes me think that the cartridges could be defective, or the printhead in the printer could have failed. I would rule out a software problem as the copies are blank and copies do not involve the computer at all. I wouldn't suggest software troubleshooting until and if the ink will print out on a standard copy.
Please try the steps in this guide for ink cartridge problems: 'Print Cartridge Problem', 'Incompatible Cartridge', 'Incorrectly Installed Cartridge', or 'Print Ca...
Tip: When you reset the printer, ensure it's plugged in directly to the wall outlet, avoiding power bars and surge protectors. This ensures the printer is receiving full power and may help greatly.
Write me back with the outcome from the steps above and if any ink will print out on a copy, and we will go from there!
Good luck, I hope this helps you

  • Exclude item from print

Brief read - it explains how you have a separate style sheet
    for the
    screen and printer.
    http://meyerweb.com/eric/articles/webrev/200001.html
basically - you have a 2nd ( or more ) style sheet file that
    is used
when you print. You copy most of the screen styles into this
    print
    style sheet.
You can then modify the print style sheet - so that it is
    formatted
differently - in your case omits to print certain parts.
for example in one of my print styles I have this:
    #navMain, .nav_bottom, .footer, photonav_main, .sidenav,
    .sidemenu ,
    .sitemeter { display:none; } /* remove from printout */
it stops all those sections styled as show from printing
In the html files the two sets of style sheets are loaded
    like this
    <link href="/css/main.css" rel="stylesheet"
    type="text/css"
    media="screen" />
    <link href="/css/print_main.css" rel="stylesheet"
    type="text/css" media="print" />
sorryt I don't have time to write a full article about it -
    maybe you
need to buy some books on css.

  • Scanning multiple pages from print book into computer

How to scan multiple pages from print book into computer? Someone supplied a link to this question, but I got stuck at step 1: Where is "HP Director software"? In other directions, it says to open the "HP Scan window," but that option is not available to me when I follow the directions. I have an HP 2159m computer, HP Photosmart Plus all-in-one, Windows 7, and use Firefox, if that's any help.
    TIA

    I have a similar problem:
I am using an HP Officejet 6310xi via its TWAIN interface.  Regardless of which application invokes TWAIN (whether Irfanview, Thumbs Plus, or something else), the scanner dialog closes after transferring each scanned image.  To scan the next page requires re-starting the scanner, beginning with a whole new preview and re-entering all my scan settings.  This is only an issue with the HP scanner, not with my Cannon CanoScan LIDE 100, Visioneer OneTouch 8920, or any other scanner, each of whose scanner dialogs stay open for scan after scan.  Can anyone help me make the HP scanner dialog stay open for multiple pages?
Note: Based on a suggestion on another site I set my scan preferences to include "Prompt for Additional Scans from Glass" as follows, but it did not help.
I am experienced at scanning, but I find it extremely frustrating that the HP scan dialog closes, forgetting its settings, after each page.
If it helps others, I gladly share my article, "Freedom from Paper--At Last" here

  • Is there a way of protecting PDF documents from printing and/or copying?

Does anybody know a way of protecting PDF documents from printing and/or copying? All this within the OS possibilities? Is there a way?
know one can buy expensive programmes like from Adobe, but I use it so little that I would like a cheaper solution. Freeware would be great, shareware also.
    Any suggestion grateful received.

No way to do that using the OS (although the entire pdf can be encrypted, once the password is applied the document is open for copying/printing).
However, the freeware PDFLab does allow password protection, the 'owner' pw allows full access, the 'user' pw can be restricted for printing, copying, etc:
    http://www.iconus.ch/fabien/pdflab/
This can also be done with Adobe's Create PDF Online, but the above is free, and works well.
    Hope this helps...
