Defaults to 3 copies of print item

have ti change manually to 1 copy wanted. defaults to 3 copies at print screen. cannot save to 1 copy . how to set default to 1 copy.

I actually found this information in the User Guide for your model; You can customize copy jobs using the various settings available from the printer's control panel, including the following: Number of copies, Copy paper size, Copy paper type, Copy speed or quality, Lighter/Darker settings, Resizing originals to fit on different paper sizes. You can use these settings for single copy jobs, or you can save settings to be used as defaults for future jobs. To change copy settings for a single job 1. Touch Copy.2. Select the copy function settings you want to change.3. Touch Start Black or Start Color. To save the current settings as defaults for future jobs1. Touch Copy.2. Thanks very much for the info! Unfortunately, when I get to the "MemberSelectionRowsPerPage" tab, I'm not able to change the default from 20. The "20" appears in blue numbers, and while I am able to modify the field, as soon as I click away from it, or click enter, or click refresh, it reverts back to "20". I've also tried modifying the number, and closing out the screen, but when I go back to the tab to check, it has reverted back to "20".
Is there a way to save this setting that I'm missing? Has anyone else seen this before?

How do I change default no of copies on printer

Every-time I print the default number of copies is set to three. I have to change it if I only want to print a single copy of a doc. I would be grateful on information on how to change this.

When the Print Dialog comes up, change Copies to one, then go up to the Presets: drop down above the Copies item & Save.

Multiple copies when printing

When I print from my account the default setting for number of copies is 4, no matter which software I am using.
When I switch to another account the default setting is one copy.
Does anyone know how to change the default number of copies?

Are you using any presets? There doesn't seem to be a way to default the number of copies other than by using a preset. You could throw away com.apple.print.PrintingPrefs and any preset preference files in your home's Preferences folder.

AR plugin for IE defaults to 299 copies

Has anyone had an issue like this? If I open a pdf in IE and try to print it, it defaults to 299 copies.
Opening a PDF directly in Reader, defaults to 1 copy as it should. Printing a web page from IE defaults to 1 page. Printer default setting is set to 1 page.
I've uninstalled and reinstalled AR, reset IE and IE settings, etc. It still defaults to 299 copies.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! You got it. MS word and Notepad and Excel, etc. all pop up with one copy as the default so I assumed that default was coming from the printer. But when I go into Printing Preferences, I get the darn “75” by default. Adobe Reader seems to be the only software I use that paid attention to that default.
I sort of know when that happened. One of my colleagues was printing using some software (SheetMusicPlusDigitalPrint) and I know she printed 75 copies of her music and that is when my problem started.
I thank you again because I was so focussed on Adobe Reader that I was never gonna find the true problem.

I have a question, regrding Make to order and Make to stock .
I am using a Material that is default Make to Stock, based on customer requirement same material also used as a Make to order.
When i generate sales order perticular material default Make to stock Item category will pick up, for this Requirement type KSV is comming, If i Change Item category Make to Order, requirement type is not changing,
My query is when i change Item category i want default requirement which has assigned for item category.

We have 4 Windows Server 2008 R2 print servers, all of which has the same printer queues installed on them that are utilized by a 3rd party printing program that does a round-robin load balancing scheme.
All printers are a combination of HP and Xerox all running some variation of the HP UPD and the Xerox UPD. Some use the PCL 5 and some use the PCL 6 version determined by age of printer and need.
There are typically two printer queues for each physical printer.
Example:
LOCATION_ROOM
LOCATION_ROOM_TRAY2
The regular queue is ok being left with default setting,
The _TRAY2 queues are set to print to "labels" or "pre-printed" paper type or a specific tray.
From time to time, these _TRAY2 queues will revert back to a factory default state and lose the setting to print to a specific paper type or tray. Sometimes it happens to the _TRAY2 queue on all 4 servers, sometimes just 1 server, etc. No rhyme
or reason.
Disabled Bi-directional options on both the HP and Xerox UPDs per another article on the internet that said bi-directional could cause the printer to send back settings to the driver and cause this issue. Even with this option off, we continue to see
printer _TRAY2 queue settings revert back to factory default and lose their specific paper and tray settings. We have ruled out the possibility that users or other technicians are the ones making these changes so we suspect it is some interaction between
the servers, printer drivers and printers themselves causing the issue.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

I'd start by using one of the print drivers included in Windows for a few of the printers and confirm it's the universal driver that is causing the issue.
HP installs some other processes and services on the machine which communicate with the HP devices.
PML and something else. You might want to shut those down and see if these processes are the ones modifying the settings.
Run process monitor to truly identify which processes is causing the modifications.

Can Reader pick up the Default Page Size of a printer that is not the Windows Default Printer?

We have a web based application that generates PDF documents via Crystal Reports.
We are using Adobe Reader 8
The PDF pages are displayed within an Internet Explorer window where the the users then print the document.
The application is designed so the user only gets one chance to print the document (ie they cant come back and change printer settings if they happen to print the document out incorrectly)
The document needs to be printed on A3 paper, full duplex.
We have a printer set-up decidated to the printing of the documents generated by this application. The default page size of this printer is set of A3.
If we set this dedicated printer as the Windows Default Printer we have no problems at all. The default page size (A3) is picked up and the document is printed correctly.
If any other printer is set as the Windows Default Printer (eg one that has a default page size of A4), the users must obviously select the correct printer from the Print Dialogue Box -however when the user selects the dedicated A3 printer, the page size remains as A4 (page size of the Windows Default Printer). This means the user must remember to change the paper size to A3 each time.
Out users find IT a struggle at the best of times - anything that makes the process simpler is very welcomed!
Is there a way to ensure the default page size of the printer is respected when that printer is not the Windows Default Printer?

What does it mean:
1 = Material document printout ?
6 = Mat.doc. printout fot GR/GI ?
They sound similar.....

New vprs condition for posting COPA according to item category

My client has a requirement of posting in COPA according to item category, for example ,i have two items in the billing one is with normal item ctegory (TAN) and other is (TANN),They want the postings should be different for both the item categories in COPA so that they can show the free items VPRS cost should be booked in other expenses(TANN).
I tried by adding another condition type like ZPRS and made a routine but system is working in the order and at the time of billing system is not working

I would rather suggest a different method.
Please make the following changes.
1) In the detail screen of your item category TANN, in the section of 'Business Data' for the field Pricing the value entered should be 'B'.
2) Next insert condition type R100 in your pricing procedure and insert the requirement for the condition type R100 as 55.
this way pricing is applied to the product with category TANN but is with 100% discount and the cost VPRS is transferred for COPA.
According to me no need to create a new condition type for cost of the free item.

Default number of copies

I have an app on my Galaxy Tab 2 7in that prints using ePrint. Can I set ePrint to print 2 copies automatically? Either through some info the app sends or in the ePrint app?

I understand that you want to print multiple copies of an ePrint job.
If you've downloaded the Hp ePrint mobile app once you select print in the top right corner you can select number of copies to print under settings.

There is no direct web publishing of a book, sorry. But as a work-around: You can print your book to pdf - select it in the book in the Inspecktor panel and use "Print book". Then select the "PDF" buttun in the print panel and save a pdf file. Upload the pdf to a server for sharing (ftp, Drop box) and send your friends a link or place a link to the file on a webpage.

Since I installed a new printer I can no longer print items from the internet.

See above question. Bought my printer at Best Buy. They said it could be a browser problem. I have Firefox. My Firefox is up to date. No problem printing documents, just cant print items from the internet.

Have you tried to see of the firmware on your printer needs to be updated? If apple happened to change the protocols for air print (I don't know if they did but anything is possible) then your printer's firmware will also need to be updated.
You can also see if a simple reboot helps. Turn your printer off then on, power cycle your router - unplug it, count to ten, plug it back in, and reboot your iPad (hold down the sleep and home keys until you see the silver apple, then let go and let it reboot)
sometimes just letting the electronics get a fresh start can help a ton.

How to set default number of copies of labels to be printed in SAP EWM

we have configured in such a way that, whenever we maintain the inbound delivery in /scwm/prdi, GR will happen automatically and a GR label will be printed automatically. We have defined condition records to determine the printer and also mentioned the number of copies as 1. Now, we need to have 2 copies of the GR label to be printed automatically. I've changed the no of copies as 2 in the condition records but still only 1 copy is getting printed. i have also maintained spool parameter where in i have specified no of copies as 2. Are there any other places i need to change the no of copies to be printed? if so, could you please sugget me?

#No of Copies# in transaction /SCWM/PRWO6 is not actual number of copies . This is more an index how the number of copies is determined . Please use F4 on this field and you will see that index 2 means "Number of Copies" = 1.
In Transaction /SCWM/ 60000431 you need to actual number of copies for your document. But this number is only taken if you set the index in /SCWM/PRWO6 to "0".

Selecting Default PDF Mail App When Printing

I have a MBP running Leopard.
I use Entourage for my email. I have Entourage selected as my default in Apple Mail.
Scenario: When I go File -> Print, -> PDF, -> Mail PDF, the PDF is rendered but it comes up in a new email message in Apple Mail. How do I change this so that a new mail message in Entourage comes up? I have gotten all my other apps to launch Entourage when I choose to email something.

Try putting an alias of Entourage into your home directory's "Library/PDF Services" folder. That should add a new item to the PDF button-menu in the print dialog.
