2 questions in one - Related to Excel Microsoft Query

Hi ALL ,
i want to schedule a microsoft query script to run at 4:36 am Daily and save the workbook as Remedy in a defined path .After an hour the Remedy Excel should automatically get deleted.
Task flow
Excel -- > ODBC --> Remedy DB ---> Data -- > SSIS --- > Load Excel Data to Sql Server ..
Am not able to use SSIS for this as the Data loading is taking huge amount of time using ODBC whereas excel is very fast in retrieving the Data .
Q How can i query the current date in ODBC .
i have tried this:
Where ("HPD:Help Desk"."Last Modified Date" = {fn current_date()}) but its not working ( Error Message lexical 3700 not found)
Where ("HPD:Help Desk"."Reported Date">={ts '2014-01-01 00:00:00'}) ( am using this for now )
Please help am a newbie in excel

In Microsoft query ,we should use date() to get the current date.
Try: Where ("HPD:Help Desk"."Reported Date">=date())

I'm getting really frustrated by this Access error. It happens when I export the result of a query through an Access macro to Excel, the first time it runs well but the next time, there is a chance that the query won't run and the error "Query
must have at least one destination field" will be displayed. After that, I try to check the query SQL code and discover the code has vanished. I'm using simple Select query without joins, only "where", "group by" and "order by"
statements.

One of these queries are like the following (all of them are of this type):
SELECT Field1, field2, field3, field4, field5, Sum(Field6) AS SumOfField6, Sum(Field7) AS SumOfField7
FROM Table1
WHERE Field6 is not null
GROUP BY Field1, field2, field3, field4, field5
Order By Sum(Field6) desc

Get One to One relation information from SMO

Hello I have 2 tables.
Business & categories. Both are connected using one to one relation.
In business table I created ForeignKey relation to Category & then I made CategoryId column of Business Table Unique Key in index.
In this way I create One to one relation between them.
So from Business I can get Category by using Following SMO Code:

var ReferenceData=table.ForeignKeys;
It is fine. But Now from category Table I also want to see Business Object. I know that I can travers EnumForeignKeys() But in that I can get its SetCollection data.
But I want o know the information regarding One to One relationship . that meance I want to see cardinality information from SMO.
Is there any way that I can have that information using SMO?
If ismo is not possible then some kind of SQL query is also ok for me.

Hi,
IMO this does not seem possible using SMO or any other method as well.
You cannot create a 1..1 relationship directly in SQL Server.
To implement such a relationship we need to create a FOREIGN KEY and then create a UNIQUE constraint on the foreign key column, this again does not guarantee 1..1 relationship but 0..1 relationship.
So what you can do is check if UNIQUE constraint is defined on the foreign key column in the referencing table.

One to one relation webapplication and portal?

Going through the documentation and the newsgroups for WLCS 3.5 and
Personalization Server 3.5 I can't seem to find out wether or not
there is a one to one relation between a webapplication and a portal.
I mean, can I have more than one portal in a webapplication? The
folder structure in the webapplication seems to indicate so:
exampleportal/portals suggests that multiple portals can be found in
this webapplication, with the repository as a folder shared by all
portals.
And if this is the case, where do I configure which user goes to what
portal within that one webapplication?
Anybody has any suggestion or pointers to relevant documentation (not
being the bea edocs site...)?

I have different problem.
I have two submit buttons. First is to save the data into DB. Second is to add an Answer object to arraylist (Answers) and this answer object filled in the same form. When I click the second button, I don't see the arraylist growing. But it overwrites. I hope you are understanding my question.

Business One - XML or Excel File interface

Here i have some basic questions which i need to clarify from the expertise like you
1. Is Business One can able to Produce/Consume XML file for the Master data upload ? If so where can i find the schema for XML file ?
2. I hope that Business One can use Excel file to upload the Master data - if so where can find the template/schema ?
3. Can we use Scheduling mechanism to Upload XML file for master data upload to Business System ?

           Is that XML and Excel ( or ) we can use either XML or Excel ? Please clarify .

         ii . Not only master data , i want to create Objects like PO / SO/Invoice etc ..,, . All can be achieved through DTW ?

My question is Itunes related. How do you prevent a playlist saved in Itunes from alphabetizing the song list created. I wanted to keep the original order, and somehow everything was alphabetized without requesting it.

I had a specific order of songs that I wanted, and Itunes somehow automatically alphabetized them. Is there a way to turn that feature off, and/or get them back to the original order? I also noticed that once a playlist has been created, I cannot manually changed the order of the songs from my desktop.. Any suggestions?

That's just the sort order. It's displaying the media alphabetically because you have clicked on the NAME column near the top of the iTunes window.
Click on the little triangle above the column of numbers (usually on the far left side of the main iTunes window) and the media will sort in the order in which you added each item to the playlist.
You can easily reorder songs within a playlist: Click and HOLD on the song you wish to move, then drag-and-drop it wherever you like.

I was trying to get more than one account on iphone microsoft exchange server for mail, but it seems to only accept one. Is this true with everyone else out there. I guess I am one of the few people with more than one email account that uses microsoft exchange. I would love to have the convience of accessing them through iphone mail but it seems that I will be forced to use safari for the other two by typing owa... in the url.

Yu can only have one Exchange Server account per device. This is true to iPhone and any Windows mobile device in the market. The work around is to set your other accounts that reside on an Exchange server using IMAP or POP settings as you used to do before the Version 2 update allowed you to sync directly to the Exchange Server. This methode will allow you to add as many accounts as you want or have.

If you would like to create a package/procedure in order to solve this problem consider using the UTL_FILE in built package, here are a few steps to get you going:
1. Get your DBA to create directory object in oracle using the following command:
create directory TEST_DIR as ‘directory_path’;
Note: This directory is on the server.
2. Grant read,write on directory directory_object_name to username;
You can find out the directory_object_name value from dba_directories view if you are using the system user account.
3. Logon as the user as mentioned above.
Sample code read plain text file code, you can modify this code to suit your need (i.e. read a csv file)

For a big table such as this: PROJECT_TABLE which contains 75 columns. But, only 40 columns are frequently searched against, i.e., the user enter some criteria on a web page, then start the search. The rest 35 columns are used on as-needed basis, i.e., only if the user want to view a specific record (in the returned search result). I am afraid that as the records grow, someday, the search will slow down (due to the large number of columns in the table).
So, I plant to break the PROJECT_TABLE into two separate tables PROJECT_PARENT (project_id) and PROJECT_CHILD (project_id) and reference them by one-to-one relation. By this way, when the user conducts the search, it will be done against the PROJECT_PARENT table; while when user wants to view a specific record, it will then retrieve the data by using one-to-one join of the two tables.
Like to know if it really help by breaking into two tables. What is your comment?

I'm hoping if anybody could help me. I'm using Microsoft Excel 2010 + Windows 7 Professional 64 bit. I've installed the informix client sdk for odbc drivers to create odbc 32 bit connection. Before this, i had successfully installed in
another Windows 7 Professional 64 bit PC the informix client drivers and configured the odbc connection for it. During that time, i can access the 32 bit ODBC using the microsoft query from the Microsoft Excel 2007. But now...in the new PC, even though i had

Excel 2007 has only 32-bit since 64-bit applications for Office are available only for Office 2010. Thus, you can use
32 bit ODBC between Microsoft Excel 2007 & Windows 7 Professional 64 bit. Now, you are using Microsoft Excel 2010 64 bit & Windows 7 Professional 64 bit, thus, you must install the 64 bit ODBC drive. If you still need to use 32
bit odbc drive, please use 32 bit Excel 2010. Here is the detailed steps:

Project Report for One Project Using Excel

Hi,
Is is possible to create a report for one project using excel?
I want to create a pdp with an Excel Viewer web part and have the following tabs with data specific to the one project.
1. Cover
2. Issues
3. Risks
4. Deliverables
I tried passing the ProjUid to an Excel doc via the Excel Query Filter Web Part and was able to filter the Issues lists only but don't know if its possible to filter out the other tabs by using the same paramater. Is this possible?
I have not looked at Odata but was wondering if it was possible to pass a paramater to the odata query and still have the spreadsheet work in a web view in SharePoint?

I'd say that as far as you promote the Proj UID field as a filter in all sheets of your Excel workbook, using the Excel
Query Filter Web Part should work fine. But testing it should be easy, since you already did half of the work.

How to create one to one relation in database diagram

I'd like to create a database diagram in JDeveloper 10g. Is there any possibility to create a one-to-one relation between two tables?

This seems to be the same problem that I am having. I was trying to create a database diagram with tables imported from the database. I have two tables having a 1 --> 0..1 relationship. However when I pulled these tables on to a database diagram , it displayed as a 1 --> * relationship. I also realized that JDeveloper does not allow you to change the cardinality in a database diagram.
As a workaround, I created a class diagram and named the classes the same as the database tables. Then I used UML connectors to show the relationships with the correct cardinality. Since I did not need to show the column names on the diagram, it was sufficient for my purpose. I hope this bug is fixed soon, otherwise I will have to use some other tool to create database diagrams.

Hey I finally got an older vesion of itunes to work!!! 10.7 x64 for windows 7
After uninstalling all apple products even quicktime
I had to delete everything from (program files, and program files x64, program data,)
And all downloads from apple, and I went in to search deleted other stuff from apple, and itunes
But definently not my itunes library and Playlist
Down loaded 10.7 x64 for windows 7, but checked (do not start when done)
Then I emptied my recycling bin and restarted my PC
I ran geek tech tool box same as reg cure pro, also PC Tools registry cleaner, and CC Cleaner
Then I emptied my recycling bin and restarted my PC
And wallah... It finally works, and I Love the older version anyways.
Easier to download and transfer music!!!!!
