2005A, 2007A UIAPI reference problem

Hi,
I just installed the 2007 A client on the same machine where I usualy develop for 2005A
Now all my projects doesn't work anymore, and I saw that
in the COM references.  The UI for 2005A isn't there anymore, and I only have 2007A
Does that mean, I can't have 2005A client and 2007A client on the same machine ?
If so I'm in serious problem here.

i think the problem now is that the lonely client is usually in the b1_share directory !
but when you installed 2007 the 2005 was removed.
in the update package it is not included because in this package you have the commonupgrader which loads the files in the sbocommon database.
ok marc - good look & good night
its late here in vienna

David

    Hi Narasimha,
    I'd like to know whether you can build locally with MSBuild. You need to make sure you can build successfully in local with MSBuild before you can use TFS build, since TFS build use MSBuild as its default compiler.
    However, from the error message, seems you don't have entity framework installed properly. Please have a try to reinstall entity framework for the needed version, also get the assemblies stored in GAC. If you have any other related concerns, you can
    open a new thread in entity framework forum for a better response.

  • Open vi reference problems in labview 7 after building an application

    I have a vi with an Open VI Reference vi in it.
    This works fine. But when I build an application of it and run the vi it gives problems.
    I get an Open VI Reference error. Why?

    If you have strict typedefs for the dynamic loaded VIs you need to include the line "BldApp.RemovePolyVIsandTypedefs=False" into your LV ini file. See this discussion.

  • Open VI reference, problem on RT target

    I'm having problems opening references to VI's on my RT target (cRIO 9074 with NI-RIO 3.1.0, VI server enabled). I'm using Labview 8.6.1
    What I'm doing is opening the reference using an absolute path ("c:\ni-rt\temp\test12.vi") to the VI I want to run (path is the only input that is wired). "Open VI reference" throws error 1124 (VI not loadable).
    The VI that should be loaded only contains a while loop toggling a boolean indicator, no subVI's.
    If I remove the VI from the specified path I get error 7 (File not
    found) when I run the code, so the path doesn't seem to be wrong.
    I've tried running the"open vi reference" function on my host computer and on the target (both as an .exe and directly deployed) but the result is the same.
    No error is thrown if I build an .exe and include test12.vi in the build, but I assume that in that case the VI has already been loaded when "open vi reference" is called. This is not a solution for me.
    If I move both VI's to my host computer everything works.
    Does anyone have any ideas about what could be wrong? I've searched to forum but found no solution.

    Hi Sterlind,
    Have you tried building a source distribution, the VI might depend on some VI:s from VI.lib or such.
    This KB seems to suite your error description,

  • Reference-Problem in RFC-Function Module

    Hello,
    I am new to ABAP. As an introduction I read the book "ABAP Objects" from SAP Press.
    I need a web service which returns a before uncertain number of objects.
    First I have written a class representing my object. Then I added a new table type to the DDIC which has as "line type" simply my class as referenced type.
    Afterwards I have implemented a function module which has an export parameter with the TYPE of my table type. The whole thing works fine, if I configure the function module as a normal function module. As soon as I click on RFC, I get the error message "Reference parameters are not allowed with RFC ". However, I have already clicked "pass by value" for the export- and import-parameters. The problem seems to be the table type with my class as referenced type.
    Is the approach in general correct, to create a web service?
    How can I fix the problem with the reference?
    Best regards
    Philipp

    Ok, I understand the problem is that I can not export any reference. And therefore no objects because the declaration has to be done with TYPE REF TO...
    Can you tell me a little more detailed about the usage of the interface IF_SERIALIZABLE_OBJECT?
    Is it possible to serialize the whole internal table which has to exported?
    Would it have the same effect like a table type based on a structure with attributes like my object?
    Best regards
    Philipp

  • Java Reference Problem

    We are using a Java JLabel class for rendering the cell of a Java JTable.
    The problem we are facing is ..even we are clearing our collections to remove the references of these Labels, still the memory of this Labels are not getting released
    it seems that some java internal classes(e.g. DefaultTableCellRenderer class) are still using this references, thus increasing the memory overhead.
    Can someone suggest a solution
    Thanks in advance

    DemoPassbyRefWriting, and posting, a class called 'DemoPassbyRef' in Java is a complete waste of time. There is no pass by reference in Java.
    However your problem is simply that you have added an object to a collection and then cleared the object, so it is clear when accessed via the collection too. It's the same object. Adding to a collection doesn't perform any copy step. If you don't want the collection item cleared, either don't clear it or do a copy when you add it to the collection. In this particular case clearing paramListTemp is completely pointless anyway, as nobody else uses it by that name.
    I can't see the point of your TableContainer class either.

  • Partial Payment - Invoice Reference Problem

    Dear All Experts,
    Iam working on a Cash flow Report wherein I need to display Cashinflows and Outflows period wise.I have a small problem in Invoice Refrence(REBZG) when partial payments done. My problem is whenever partial payment is made for an invoice, for the last payment invoice reference is not coming, have a look at the following example :
    Invoice No = INV1  Invoice Amount = 50,000.
    Partial Payment 1 : 30,000.
    Partial Payment 2 : 15,000.
    Partial Payment 3 : 5,000.
    Now in BSAK tabel entries are as follows :
    BELNR             GJAHR     WRBTR      REBZG       REBZJ
    1200000          2009         30,000       INV1           2010
    1200001          2010         15,000       INV1           2010
    1200002          2010           5,000
    Can anyone explain why it is coming like this? any config issue?
    Thanks & Regards,
    Rock.

    no one is there to answer? any one?

  • Web service reference problem

    Hi, I am trying to create a web service reference from Windows Dynamic CRM web services. CRM uses windows authentication. I can open WSDL file with IE and firefox. But the same username and password don't work with APEX.
    Does anyone have a clue? Many thanks!

    Edited by: user8991541 on Aug 4, 2010 8:40 AM

    I was able to resolve the problem -- in the latest version of the RESTful web service that I created, I had left out the creation of the Header Parameter bind variable. Once I did that everything works fine!! I was able to test in the application and got the record of an individual student.
    Thanks,

  • Shift regsiter pass file reference problem

    Hi, I met some problem when I use shift register to store file reference, please refer to attachement.
    I want to implent the function that every hour a new file would be create, and close the old file. but the close file.vi reported error message, said error source is can't close file. other parts in the diagarm works well.
    Solved!

    Are you testing this VI by itself or as a called subvi?  LabVIEW will automatically close the file reference once the top level caller stops running, even if you don't close it in code.  The ref info will remain in the shift register but it's no longer valid.  This means it passes the not a ref test but Close File can't use it.  I threw a loop around your code to keep it running(as if it were a subvi) and everything worked.

  • EJB 3 reference problem

    Hello all.
    I use glassfish b48.
    I need two classes with unidirectional ManyToOne relation:
    Pupil -> Grade
    Pupil.java:
    @Entity
    public class Pupil extends Person {
        @ManyToOne
        private Grade grade;
    }Person.java:
    @Entity
    public class Person extends VersionControl {
    ...VersionControl.java:
    @Entity
    @Inheritance(strategy=InheritanceType.JOINED)
    public class VersionControl implements Serializable {
        @Id
        @GeneratedValue(strategy = GenerationType.AUTO)
        private Long id;
        ...Grade.java:
    @Entity
    public class Grade extends VersionControl {
    ...When i change Pupil-instance grade attribute from 'A' to 'B' grade attribute in pupil instance, database updates successfully, but grade attribute of Pupil instance contents Grade-class instance with all NULL fields, and
    em.createQuery("select o from Grade o where order by o.name").getResultList();returns Collection with all Grade objects, but on the 'B-object-place' i see object with all fields = null.
    i.e.
    id       name
    "1"        "A"
    "3"        "C"I tried to run on various platforms and glassfish versions, on JavaDB and PostgreSQL database, various CascadeType's - same result.
    When i redeploy my application(or restart server;-)) all is ok.
    If i create new Grade object and use it for setting to Pupil attribute a don't see this problem.
    But if i use "old" Grade object createed before last deploying of application this problem occur.
    Where is my problem?

    The issue is that the Local EJB view was not intended to be accessible across application boundaries. The Local view
    requires pass-by-reference semantics, which implies that both the caller and callee are using the same classloader.
    Some products support cross-application Local EJB access but it's not portable.
    One of the related issues is that the requirement for packaging ejb's in their own ejb-jar is too cumbersome. We're fixing this
    in EJB 3.1 so that EJB components can be packaged directly in a .war. See my blog posting here : http://blogs.sun.com/kensaks/entry/simplified_ejb_component_packaging

  • Serialization (Class Reference) Problem.

    I have developed a class which only job is to save my serializable objects and load them. This class works very simple. In the constructor you pass the instance of the class you wish to save or load data in, and you call the method save(..) or load (..) accordingly!
    Now the serialiazation works more then fine :) The problem is in the reference of classes. That is my object instance in the class responsable for serialization is initialized ok when the data is loaded. However the same object (that means passed as a paramter to the Serialiaztion class) is not being initialized.
    Now as much as I know all parameters that are objects are always transfered as Reference types. That mean pointing to the same memory address. So how can my instance be initalize in one point and not in the other?
    Following is my Serialization class:
    import java.io.FileInputStream;
    import java.io.FileOutputStream;
    import java.io.IOException;
    import java.io.ObjectInputStream;
    import java.io.ObjectOutputStream;
    public class DataSerializer {
        private Object serializableObject;
        public DataSerializer(Object o){
            this.serializableObject = o;
        public void Save(String filePath) throws IOException{
            ObjectOutputStream objectOutputStream = null;
            try {
                objectOutputStream =
                    new ObjectOutputStream(new FileOutputStream(filePath));
                objectOutputStream.writeObject(this.serializableObject);
            finally{
                try{
                    objectOutputStream.flush();
                    objectOutputStream.close();
                catch(Exception e){}
                objectOutputStream = null;
        public void Load(String filePath) throws ClassNotFoundException,
                ClassCastException, IOException{
            ObjectInputStream objectInputStream = null;
            try {
                objectInputStream =
                        new ObjectInputStream(new FileInputStream(filePath));
                this.serializableObject  = (AllData)objectInputStream.readObject();
                // TESTING: HERE IT RETURNS CORRECT VALUE (1)
                System.out.println("c:"+((AllMyData)this.serializableObject).count());
            finally{
                try{
                    objectInputStream.close();
                catch(Exception e){}
                objectInputStream = null;
        public Object getSerializableObject(){
            return this.serializableObject;
        public void setSerializableObject(Object o){
            this.serializableObject=o;
    }And this is how I call the class:
    AllMyData d = new AllMyData();
    d.add(new MyData("Hello"));
    new DataSerializer(d).save("C:\\Test1.txt");
    // Problem here:
    AllMyData d2 = new AllMyData();
    new DataSerializer(d2).load("C:\\Test1.txt");
    System.out.println(""+d2.count);  // returns 0 instead 1!!Thanks in advance for any help!

    BTW: By using the get and set method it works fine :)
    But just a question I wanted to ask, Since from what I know about referencing it should be working like it is above!! I know it most probably is silly!? but can't explain it to myself!
    here is the way I code it to work:
    AllMyData d = new AllMyData();
    d.add(new MyData("Hello"));
    new DataSerializer(d).save("C:\\Test1.txt");
    // Problem here:
    AllMyData d2 = new AllMyData();
    // NEW CODE BELOW
    DataSerializer loader = new DataSerializer(d2);
    loader .load("C:\\Test1.txt");
    d2.getSerializableObject();
    // NOW IT RETURNS CORRECT RESULT!
    System.out.println(""+d2.count);

  • The Good Old Static Reference Problem

    Hey All,
    I know you are probabely all sick of this question but non-static variable RobotServerStatusConditionLabel cannot be referenced from a static context
    I dont know how to go about fixing this problem, i have read the other feeds on this and more or less understood why the error is happening but cant think of a way to solve it. I am developing a GUI progam in Netbeans The code is shown below.
    The prolem i am having is that i have a thread called ModuleThreadRobot which is in a class called final class ModuleThreadRobot. I need to be able to access the variables in the GUI so that i can update them for the user so for example i want to change the text of a label in the gui:
    LabANTServerProxyGUI.RobotServerStatusConditionLabel.setText("wagamma!!");
    And the error i get is as follows:
    non-static variable RobotServerStatusConditionLabel cannot be referenced from a static context
    So if anyone can help me out here, i more or less get why its happening just don't know a way around it.
    Thanks inadvance,
    Richard

To take a trivial example, which of us ever undertakes laborious physical exercise, except to obtain some advantage from it? But who has any right to find fault with a man who chooses to enjoy a pleasure that has no annoying consequences, or one who avoids a pain that produces no resultant pleasure?\"\n\nSection 1.10.33 of \"de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum\", written by Cicero in 45 BC\n\n\"At vero eos et accusamus et iusto odio dignissimos ducimus qui blanditiis praesentium voluptatum deleniti atque corrupti quos dolores et quas molestias excepturi sint occaecati cupiditate non provident, similique sunt in culpa qui officia deserunt mollitia animi, id est laborum et dolorum fuga. These cases are perfectly simple and easy to distinguish. In a free hour, when our power of choice is untrammelled and when nothing prevents our being able to do what we like best, every pleasure is to be welcomed and every pain avoided. But in certain circumstances and owing to the claims of duty or the obligations of business it will frequently occur that pleasures have to be repudiated and annoyances accepted. The wise man therefore always holds in these matters to this principle of selection: he rejects pleasures to secure other greater pleasures, or else he endures pains to avoid worse pains.\" ");

  • Message Driven Bean Reference Problem

    Hi,
    I have problems a MDB referencing other beans, I am getting Class Cast
    exception whenever my MDB tries to use narrow operation after the lookup
    is done.
    The Code is as follows:
    public void ejbCreate () throws CreateException {
    log("ejbCreate called");
    try {
    InitialContext ctx = new InitialContext();
    Object ref = ctx.lookup("java:comp/env/ejb/LoggerCache");
    log("Lookup of Cache done");
    LoggerCacheHome loggerCacheHome = (LoggerCacheHome)
    PortableRemoteObject.narrow(ref, LoggerCacheHome.class);
    } catch(Exception ex) {
    ex.printStackTrace();
    The lookup is successful but when I try to use the narrow..... I get the
    following exception stackk Trace.
    Any help will be appreciated.
    TIA,

    Print the class info for the castee and the cast-to classes. They are
    incompatible, and hence the exception. It could be a bug in your code, or
    it could be a classloader issue (resulting from how you
    packaged/deployed/how your app works) or something like that.

  • Very Urgent: illegal reference problem:  Points assured

    hi all
    I have developed a class(type final)  using SE24 with no subclasses or interfaces.  Then from the program i am creating an object and calling methods. In the implementation of one of the methods,  another method is being called  i.e.
    call method obj->meth , the method called has no parameters. But  the reference is not correct. as it says in the dump
    "Access not possible using "NULL" object reference.
    Please help me solve this.
    Points assured
    Thanks

    Hi,
    Can you please tell me what <b>obj</b> is....?
    Are you passing the object also into this method(in which the second method is being called)...?
    If not, you can call the second method in the first method as
    call method me->meth2.
    The error you have given is coming because <b>obj</b> doesn't have anything to point to..
    Hope this will be of some help to you...
    Regards,
    SP.

  • Global variable reference problem

    Hai all,
    Am facing a problem in assigning a control as a global one.
    Actually i have assigned two OK buttons g1 and g2 as global ones. In 1.vi i have created control c1 (Switch when pressed) and in 2.vi i used g1. when i run both VI's, the g1 get updated with the change in values i gave in c1 in 1.vi (NO PROBLEMS).
    But in 1.vi i created another control c2 (Latch when released) and in 2.vi i used g2. when i run both the vi's, the g2 didn't get updated with the change in values i gave in c2 in 2.vi
    Anybody please suggest a immediate reply.
    Regards,
    Mathan

    Hai,
    Thanks for the timely help. Actually am using parallel port read and write loop.vi from the example finders in Labview 8.5 in my application.
    In my project, USB device test using USBCV utlity, am in need of two controls (buttons). One will be a switch which give a high/low value when pressed/released. Other one will be a latch which will be used for remote wakeup of the device (a pulse). i have done this in labview.
    But the test needs to be automated. That is when the USBCV utlity asks to connect/disconnect a device, automatically the switch control should be handled accordingly. when the utility asks for a remote wakeup, the latch control will get pressed automatically.
    That is when i run my VI and the USBCV utility, when the utility prompts for certain action (connect/disconnect, remote wakeup), the VI should give appropriate inputs (from switch or latch) automatically without any user inputs.
    Kindly give suggestions.
