2007 display model problem

Hi guys,
Looks like my macbook pro fell victim to the nvidea display problem...

Just wondering how long these repairs take?
Are they able to fix this problem in AASP stores or does it need to be sent away?
I really need to access some files on my machine soon

Repairs can be very fast. My niece sent her MBP off for repair at 6:00 PM on a Tuesday, and she had it back the next Thursday morning. You will have to call Apple to find out for sure what the anticipated turnaround would be.
Do you have access to another Mac? If so, you can mount your Mac's hard drive on the other Mac's desktop using FireWire Target Disk Mode:

It would mount on the other Mac's desktop just like an external drive, and you could access your files.
It would be prudent to make a Super Duper or other good backup of your hard drive on an external drive before sending it off. Sometimes the drive is erased and the OS reinstalled during the troubleshooting process. Also, if you have any sensitive information on the drive, it would be prudent to remove or encrypt it.

How to correct the error
    Probably the only way to eliminate the error is to correct the program.

    "CL_RSAWB_GENERAL_AWB==========CP" or "CL_RSAWB_GENERAL_AWB==========CM00O"
    "SHOW_INFOCUBE_DATAMODEL"
    If you cannot solve the problem yourself and you wish to send
    an error message to SAP, include the following documents:
    1. A printout of the problem description (short dump)
       To obtain this, select in the current display "System->List->
       Save->Local File (unconverted)".
    2. A suitable printout of the system log
       To obtain this, call the system log through transaction SM21.
       Limit the time interval to 10 minutes before and 5 minutes
       after the short dump. In the display, then select the function
       "System->List->Save->Local File (unconverted)".
3. If the programs are your own programs or modified SAP programs,
    supply the source code.
    To do this, select the Editor function "Further Utilities->
    Upload/Download->Download".
4. Details regarding the conditions under which the error occurred
    or which actions and input led to the error.

I am going to buy myself a MacBook Pro in the near future and was wondering if the new Retina Display model would be worth the extra cash. I will mostly be doing photo/video/music editing.

if you're not in a big rush - why not hold off until Adobe and Microsoft releases an update to support the Retina Screen.
Don't get me wrong - the Macbook Retina is a good and videos look great - but when it comes to Photoshop, it's a little blurry and the fonts in Excel and Word is pretty blurry too.....I own one....
In any event, if it's something you can live with - then by all means - go for it.....
Otherwise - get the non Retina Macbook Pro - it's cheaper, and it's user upgradeable in both RAM and Hard Drive.

In ALV display model ,how to accept the ENTER key event?

For example :
IN ALV DISPLAY, there are two fields, one is MATNR, the other is MAKTX.
When user input the material value in MATNR field and press ENTER, then ALV can run my code to select the MAKTX into MAKTX field and display it synchronization.
Now I have realized update edit in ALV,but I found only I double click ALV row, then the MAKTX can update.

When an Interactive Report is needed in Classical Display, we go for AT LINE-SELECTION. But when the same is needed in ALV Display, this method won't work. Instead, we need to use other way which is explained below:
We use REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY for ALV Display. Now, normally we call that FM in the following way:
CALL FUNCTION 'REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY'
       EXPORTING
            i_callback_program      = 'PROGRAM_NAME'
            it_fieldcat             = tb_fieldcat
       TABLES
            t_outtab                = tb_output.
When it is needed to get an Interactive ALV, call the same FM in the following manner:
CALL FUNCTION 'REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY'
       EXPORTING
            i_callback_program      = 'ZTEST75599_1'
            it_fieldcat             = tb_fieldcat
            i_callback_user_command = 'USER_COMMAND'
       TABLES
            t_outtab                = tb_output.
Now, in the report, create a subroutine with the name USER_COMMAND as follows:
FORM user_command USING p_ucomm    LIKE sy-ucomm
                         p_selfield TYPE slis_selfield.
CASE p_ucomm.
    WHEN '&IC1'.   " &IC1 - SAP standard code for double-clicking
Based on the requirement, write the logic                          *
ENDCASE.

No need to call the subroutine as PERFORM user_command. This will be takane care by REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY. We need to just write the subroutine in the report. That suffices.
Some more useful points for Interactive ALV:
1. If Hotspot is needed, then that should be done by declaring hotspot (one field in slis_t_fieldcat_alv) as 'X' in tb_fieldcat which is of type slis_t_fieldcat_alv. When hotspot is active, single click will be enough or else you should double click on the output data.
2. In Classical Display, when it is needed to read the record on which we double clicked, we do that in following way:
   AT LINE-SELECTION.
       GET CURSOR LINE wf_line. " wf_line gives the line number on which it has been clicked
         READ LINE wf_line OF CURRENT PAGE.
But this won't work for ALV. Instead, the following logic can be used:
FORM user_command USING p_ucomm    LIKE sy-ucomm
                         p_selfield TYPE slis_selfield.
CASE p_ucomm.
    WHEN '&IC1'.   " &IC1 - SAP standard code for double-clicking
      READ TABLE tb_output INTO wa_output INDEX p_selfield-tabindex.
      IF sy-subrc EQ 0.
Based on the requirement, write the logic                          *
      ENDIF.
ENDCASE.
ENDFORM.

Hi, I read the post about calibration and I probably do that a little too often TBH! As I get so little time out the battery and mainly use my MBP on my lap, usually with the power supply near by, it gets charged to full, run to empty to the point of sleep, or sometimes it even cuts out and then is recharged to full again, so I really think it's new battery time. I've seen non Apple Official ones for between £35 and £65 that have 3 year warranties and state they are around 5200mh but am unsure due to reviews.

Anyway's I have now ordered a non Apple replacement from Amazon for about £35 and it has several good reviews and 4.5 out of 5 stars so I'll see if it works and report back. If it doesn't I'll send it back and get the Official Apple one.

macbook, mac os 10.5.8 updated, display color problem. when i try to fix it by color sync. it says:

Mac book compatible with 17" monitor Studio Display model 2454

I need a larger screen when I'm at my desk... Would the 17" Studio Display model 2454 be compatible with my MacBook - software Mac OSX vs. 10.4.8?

The model 2454 is apparently the 15" (according to ebay) (M7612 according to Apple). The 17" Studio Display is M7770 (according to Apple)
The older Apple displays had ADC connections so you would probably need the ADC->DVI and the mini-DVI->DVI connectors.

Help with display model purchase

I bought a display model desktop, but Best Buy's demo software is on there. How do I
uninstall it. It keeps popping up after so many minutes, and it wont let me install other software
onto the computer. It says I need to insert the ARCHIE cd to take it off. Is this something they should have done at the store? Very frustrating. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Gozips - To answer your question , Yes they should have taken the ARCHIE software off at the store. The salesperson should have taken the laptop over to the GeekSquad to remove it. You should take the laptop back to the store and have it removed from your system as soon as you can.

CRM Office 2007 - Windows 7 problem

Hello Experts,
I need your help about something. When I try to attach a word document to a quotation, it seems like it's opening the document but closes back. I have done the activex settings of my web browser but it's still the same. It only happens in Windows 7 and Office 2007. I don't know what to do. Is it about Word's XML settings or what?

I am upgrading to a Windows 7 64-bit Professional from a Windows 7 Home Premium (32-bit) environment. I have large files created with Publisher 2007, and am aware that Publisher 2007 will not function in the new environment. I have successfully
installed and am using Office 2007 in the 64-bit machine. If I purchase Publisher 2013, will it co-exist with Office 2007, and will files created with 2007 be accepted by Publisher 2013?
In my experience, 32bit Office2007 works just fine on 64bit Windows7. But, I don't use Publisher myself, so I've not encountered the limitation you mention. (could you explain further the issue you experience, or provide a reference?)
Office2013 products, when purchased through Retail, are usually provided in Click2Run installer format, and this offers co-existence with other Office versions.

Satellite L40-14F - Display settings problem

Hi,
I have Toshiba Satellite L40-14F with Intel GMA X3100 video card.
I have display settings problem, I can't change screen resolution and color quality when video card drivers are installed, screen resolution is 800 by 600 pixels and color quality is lowest 4 bits, when i uninstall video card drivers can change it. I try to install other drivers, there are the same problem :( Please help me :)

Aperture crashes when doing enhancements crashed at thread 35 which i think is a display driver problem any ideas folks

Aperture keeps crashing every time I try and do some auto enhancements crash log comes up with crashed at thread 35 or 36 which seems to point to a display driver problem imac 2.16 intel core 2 duo 3gb ram os x 10.6.7.
This is making aperture unusable I might go back to lightroom never had these problems with it.

It was DOA (Dead On Arrival). It is obviously to see it from BIOS to windows backround. I do not think that Lenovo, a famous brand name, could not detect this error before package it.
A giant who wants to become a leader needs to have a QUALIFY first.
