261E movement type to be allowed during GI of Process Order

Dear Collegues,
We are trying for a scenario, Where From Sales Order to Process Order directly to be made.
Now the default movement type for GI of the order is coming 261 E . But system is not allowing with this movement & also this movement is not coming in dropdown. How it is to be mapped , please co-operate.
Best Regards
Aniruddha Biswas

Hi Aniruddha,
Please check with the stock of the  components to be issued to order, it should be enough stock in the sale order stock.(customer stock - MD)04)
Other wise system will not allow to issue from the general stock , make the stock for ur component and try.
If ur component is Raw material, to avoid this, set coll/ind = 2   for component at MRP view.
Then create new order and make goods issue.

  • WM movement type 255 not allowed for warehouse number 008

    Hi,
Error message "WM movement type 255 not allowed for warehouse number 008" pops up during creation of outbound delivery. I checked the schedule line for this sales order, it was actually tagged to movement type 631 instead of 255. There ain't any movement type 255 at all. How to solve this?
    Thanks.

    Hi,
Check in Customizing for Define Movement Types where for the given warehouse number movement type 255 is assigned.
    Path is,
Logistics Execution - Activities - Transfers - Define Movement Types.
Check for 008 Movement 255 is assigned or not.
    Thanks

  • Change Production version during creation of Process Order COR1

    Hi,
    Scenario:
Based on the entered Material, Plant and Order type system need to trigger a popup asking the user to select the Production Version. This should happen before clicking on SAVE button, so that all the values will be populated correctly based on the changed VERID.
I did not find a user exit that enables to change the Production Version (VERID) value. So I thought of displaying the popup in the user exit EXIT_SAPLCOZF_003 which will be triggered before initial screen appears, export the selected value and pass it to a User Exit or BADI where VERID can be changed. But cannot find a user exit to do it.
Please help me find a User Exit or BADI to change the Production Version during creation of Process Order using COR1 transaction before clicking on SAVE button.
    Thanks,
    Manoj.

    Hi Manoj,
So - almost four years later - I saw your post and I saw myself in the very same situation as you did...
I found a solution for those who wants to change the production version of the production order from the sales order creation: create an enhancement in the function module 'MD_VERSION_SELECTION' and you are good to go.

    Hi All
    Subcontracting scenario is there
    Movement type as per declaration.
    201-- Some material is issued.
    262-- one material is reversed.
541--Transfered to Sub con(Same reversed mat is included here)
101--Migo is done after comming back from vendor(SC)
Now instead of settling raw materials by 543 mov type, system is showing mov type by 545,

    Hi,
    Movement type as per declaration.
201-- Some material is issued.--- to cost center
262-- one material is reversed---- reversal for a different mvt type(production order)
541Transfered to Sub con(Same reversed mat is included here)- w.r.t. PO
101Migo is done after comming back from vendor(SC)---GR for subcon PO
Now instead of settling raw materials by 543 mov type, system is showing mov type by 545,
no negative stock is declared in PO.
Check in the BOM in PO(material data tab in PO whether the material qty given is -ve)
scrap/byproducts are accumulated in vendor's place using this mvt type.
You have to recieve using 542.

  • How movement type will be determined in Delivery without reference order

    hi gurus,
i want to know what movement type will be determined in delivery type LO(Without reference of order) . i think in a normal delivery with referance to sales order movement type will be taken from the sales order schedule lines.  Incase of delivery without referencing an order whether system will use any movement type? if yes what movement type and from where the movement type will be picked up?

When you create a delivery without referring to a preceding document, the system copies the following data into the document from the appropriate master records:
Data from the customer master record of the ship-to party
Data from the material master records of the delivery items
normally schedulelines are determined by item category mrp type and schedule line.
so it is determined by mrp type of the material

  • During GR against Process Order Storage loc. not appearing

    He Experts,
I am trying to do goods receipt against process order for bulk material using MIGO.
But under where tab in MIGO storage loc field is not appearing. For this material production storage location is maintained in MRP2 view & in material type customizing both quantity & value field is selected for a given plant.
Can you please explain why this field is not appearing? Is there any other customizing behind this? During migo 101 movement type (GR for acct. assgt.) is appearing in moveent type field.
    Thanks in advance,
    Vijay.

    Hi,
OK,You are trying to do GR for a materisl which is defined as Bulk Material (Can be done in BOM or Material master).
You said , there is no stock appearing for this material in this Storage location.
    Check one thing,
go to MMSC and find out whether the storage location is maintained for the material or not?
if your Storage location is not appearing in the list, maintain it there.
Create a new Process order/productrion order  and check

  • Auto Batch selection during GI for Process order

    Hi Gurus
My requirement is that the system should select available batches of raw materials automatically during goods movement for Process order using COR6 and Goods issue for order MB1A . Could any body plz let me know the procedure in detail

    Dear,
You need to define the batch search procedure MBC1 with serach strategy as ME01 for your material plant and movement type assign selection condition and sort rule and save the condition record.
Please refer this thread for details,
    BATCH SELECTION DURING ISSUE
Please come back if any problem.

  • Batch with restricted status not allowed to consumed in Process order/Staged/Deliver

    Hi
My requirement is batch with restricted status can NOT be
    - consumed in process order via MIGO or MB1A
    - Can not be delivered to Customer
    - Can not be allowed / available to be staged
Together with your input i want to make development strong/defect free/consider all aspects.....kindly suggest
    Thanks & Regards
    Prashant Gupta

I still believe that this is configurable  I believe that a PP-PI person can control that restricted stock is not allowed for use in orders.
Restricted stock should already not be allowed to be sent to a customer.
I'm not sure what you mean by staged.  That can be different in different places. I assume you mean some type of stock transfer to a different storage location?
You can also use batch search strategies to prevent selecting restricted stock as well in almost all areas.
Again, there should not be a need for custom development.

  • Fiscal Year Not allowed while creating the Process order (COR1)

    Hi Friends,
My Indian client is following the Fiscal year of 2011 for the period of April 2010 to March 2011). We have gone live one month before. But now the problem we are facing is while creating the process order (T.Code COR1) system gives the error message "Fiscal year 2010 is not allowed".
    The Diagnosis shows as below
Fiscal year 2010 is not allowed
    Message no. F5568
    Diagnosis
The fiscal year entered (2010) is different from the fiscal year derived from the posting date and fiscal year variant (2011).
    System Response
    Error.
    Procedure
    Correct the fiscal year entered.
I have Checked the Controlling area version. Fiscal Year 2011 starts from 01.04.2010. This issue is only at the time of Process oder creation and not in other module like FI, MM, SD, PS, QM and PM. I have checked with V3 Variant also and there is no problem with that.
Can any one help me where the setting is missing or what whould be the probable reason for this issue.
    Regards,
    Deva

    Hi Prakash,
Thank you for your reply. I have checked the MMPV and MMRV set up and that is fine with fiscal year 2011. We are also processed lot many Material receipts for the fiscal year 2011. I have checked with OB52 for finace it is opened for the entire year of 2011 from 2009 for all periods.
We are facing only when we try to create the process order. When we enter the starte date as 24.11.2010 the derived period shows as fiscal year 2011. But entered fiscal year shows as 2010. We are not entering any other dates in the process order.
Is there any other probablity the date is picking from any Production related set ups??
The costing version fiscal year 2011 starts from 01.04.2010. So no problem with Controlling area. I have Checked the Factory calendar. The calendar starts from 01.01.2010 to 31.12.2010 for the year 2010.
Is there any other possibility of the missing settings or problem in date control???
    Regards,
    Deva

  • Issue during CO43 for Process Orders

    Dear SAP Experts,
I have a scenario where in Process Order is created in COR1, after that in COR2 i entered the qty then i did the confirmation for process order, now MIGO is done till now everything look fine with no errors.
But now when i do CO43 for this Order in the result screen no data is displayed.
    Kindly advice.

    Hi All
Try to check if the confirmation was really posted (KOB1 check production and consumption).
Sometimes the production/consumption posting is waiting for correction in transaction COFC/COGI.
If it´s OK, try to review your costing sheet for overhead.
In CO43, go to Extras - Settings and review the rules. Maybe this order doesnot fits the rule to calculate overhead.
Be sure you are not running again by mistake.
    Regards.

  • Is there any link between movement types and documents

    hi
is there any link between sales doc and movement types ?
is it the only source dependig on schedule line movement type will determined?
if with out order we are doing delivery how system will determine movement type
    Thanks in advance

    Hi,
Deliveries that are created without reference to order , contained movement type because to process a delivery you need to have some of the control criteria that are copied from sales document header to delivery document header, as system processes delivery in that way ,that is why you will find default order type is assigned to the delivery document type ie DL. .which helps the delivery document to process without reference to sales document.
    In Addition to above information,
    In VOV4,
    DL+ NORM +   +    -DLN
    In VOV5,
    For Itemcatagory DLN+        --CN
From this schedule line category CN,movement type 601 is taken during without reference to order –delivery creation.

  • Sr. Number Management issue for movement type 281

    Hi,
    Background:
I have a Material "PART1" with Serial no. profile "0001" and relevant for "back flushing".
This profile "0001" has the below controls in config:
MMSL - Maintain goods receipt and issue doc. - 02 - Optional. We cannot maintain "03", since this Material is relevant for "back flushing".
    SDLS - Maintain delivery - 03 - Obligatory
With this config Serial no. is optional for all the Receipts, Issues and Serial no. is required for Sales Delivery/PGI. PGI will not be able to post without entering Serial numbers. All these are working fine as expected.
    Issue:
User creates Delivery through T.code  CNS0 for a network (Projects) for the same Material "PART1" and processing the PGI. During PGI, system is not stopping to post PGI without entering Serial numbers (Allowing to post PGI without Serial Numbers.), even though this Material has Profile "0001" - SDLS - Maintain delivery - 03 - Obligatory.
Movement type issued by system during network related delivery is 281.(No Special Stock).
During this PGI process System is considering this Business transaction similar to MMSL( Receipt/Issue ) instead of SDLS.
Options / Solution for this issue u2013 to make this specific MMSL movement type as Serial Number required:
We can maintain the Serialization Parameter in the below 2 steps specific Movement type(281).
    1.Define flow type groups
    u201C0001u201D  -  MMSL u2013 REQ u2013 03 (Obligatory)
    2. Assignment of Movement Type Group to Movement Type
    281 u2013 u201CREQu201D
With this Config I can able to get the error for the Delivery movement type 281 (GI to Network), if Serial Number is not entered in the Network delivery, which fixes the Issue.
I can able to process other receipts/issues (except 281) without Serial numbers, which is also OK.
But I can able to maintain the Back flush values u201C2u201D in Material master.
We can NOT able to create new Material with Back flush values u201C2u201D and Serial no. profile "0001".
We are having lot of materials with Back flush values u201C2u201D and Serial no. profile "0001". For existing Materials we are getting error u2013 Serial number Management is not possible with back flushing, whenever we change any Plant data in Material master.
Kindly provide the solution to fix this issue.
Let me know if you need more info .
In Config T.code u201COPT1u201D can we replace the movement type 281 with 601 to fix this issue, instead of the above config (Movement Type Group step 1 & 2) ?
    Thanks,
    Kumar Arcot

    Hi Srinivas,
Thanks for the answer. It helped in solving the problem.
    thanks,

  • MIGO Goods Receipt multiple Movement Types?

    Hi,
Is it possible with MIGO Goods Receipt using Inbound Deliveries to have multiple movement types? the reason I ask is I am getting the following error 'BORGR622 Movement Type XXX not allowed; only 101 is allowed' when trying to receipt a Line no. with different Movement Type to the earlier lines.
We do have the same problem if we receipt in MIGO Goods Receipt directly to the Purchase Order, we can happily post a document which has the normal '101' movement type and another Custom movement type.
The reason for the requirement is to do with Account Determination, we have free bonus goods lines which are zero price on the purchase order - the price difference gets posted to a bonus stock account instead of the usual price difference account, by using a Custom Movement Type - the bonus stock agreement (kind of like BOGOFs Buy One get one free) is passed to the Customer with similar account determination updating the same bonus stock account.
This works fine for MIGO receipt directly with the Purchase Order but we get the error message above with Inbound Deliveries.
I cannot see anywhere obvious in config which might sort this issue, but am unsure why multiple movement types on a Goods Receipt would be allowed against a Purchase Order but not an Inbound Delivery.

    Hi,
Try with the below mentioned settings,
goto SPRO -> Materials Management -> Inventory Management & Physical Invetory -> Settings for enjoy transactions -> Settings for good movements(MIGO) -> Settings for transactions & reference documents -> select MIGO_GR -> Click on transaction/event -> select goods receipt -> click on reference documents -> remove the tick mark on active.

  • Movement type to manually input GL account

    Hi Expert,
I have an issue from my user.
There are certain transactions in our operations was not in the preset movement type as shown during MIGO. As the GL accounts was preset they were unable to choose another account to reflect the
actual situation. For eg when they issue Finished Goods to charity there is no movement type to reflect this situation. They have a GL Account for charity.
Normally what they do during MIGO they select Goods Issue/Others and use movement type 551 (withdrawal for scrap from unresticted area) and write the remarks in text given for the transactions.
Then they raise a manual JV to post to the right account from 551 accounts. They would like to avoid this thus we required a movement type whether ingoing or outgoing stock whereby they can decide which account should be posted during MIGO.
My question is which movement type can be used for this purpose? And how to set it up? Please help to guide step by step. Thanks.

You can create an internal order and issue the materials to the order using movement type 101.  When you create the internal order you define the cost element for assigning costs, i.e. cost center, profit center, etc. Internal orders do not actually collect cost, they are statistical and pass the cost directly to the cost element assigned.
This would probably be better than just using G/L accounts to separate items given to charity.  You need to closely coordinate with your finance expert for requirements.

  • Movement types and physical inventory posting

    HI Expert,
All inventory differences are currently booked using SAP-movement types (MVT) 291 and 292.
Inventory differences have to be booked via the correct movement types in order to increase transparency to better analyze real consumption vs. lost inventories
For inventory differences during a physical inventory use MVT 701/702 and for inventory differences other than after a physical inventory use MVT 711/712. Currently these movement types are blocked for use in our company. So it needs to be implemented soon.So
1.I want to know if this action can be implemented.
2.Could you tell me what's the difference between the MVT291/292 and 701/702/711/712.
    Thanks

.Could you tell me what's the difference between the MVT291/292 and 701/702/711/712.
291 na s292  are the movements type when in u can issues material to any of the account assignment manually like cost center , project wbs, network, sales order etc.
701/702 and the correct physical inventory movement type this are trigred only when u do proper physical inventor process in SAP for storage location which is not managed with warehouse management
711/712 and the correct physical inventory movement type this are trigred only when u do proper physical inventor process in SAP for storage location are managed by warehouse management.
U will have to remove the bloked movement type 701/702 to use Physical inventory process
    hope this helps
