3 way calling charged outside the bundle price

Any one having problems with Verizon billing. I have triple play which includes 3 way calling but they charge me every month seperately for it.
I went every month for awhile getting a credit and escalated to their experts to no avail. Its a billing mess. I'll be leaving if its still there when my plan ends. I like the service but if its a monthly mess, its worth changing providers.

I know this was posted a while ago but it keeps happening apparently. I have the freedom essentials bundle which it clearly says on this website, includes 3 way calling, however, I too am being charged an additional 6.95 for this feature. I went all the way back to the beginning of 2014 and saw this charge,. When I spoke with someone about this i was first told it was not a part of the package, but then i went to where it was listed on my bill online and read where it said 3 way calling was part of the bundle. She agreed to credit me for 3 months of the charges. i think I should have gotten more but whatever. Truth in advertising people!

What's up with all of the additional charges to the bundle price?

My bundle price was quoted at $117 per month but there is about $50 in charges added to that for the final bill. How did I fall for this, and what questions did I miss asking when I signed up?

example, you sign up for service on the 15th and the billing date is on the 30th:
This will make it so your next bill will have charges from the 15th to the 30th AND for the next month ( verizon always bills a month in advance)

What I bought was the following:Annual plan (with a one-year commitment)
The following is what they are billing me:
US $19.99 (plus applicable taxes) per month. Next payment on December 22, 2013.
The charge was supposed to be $9.99 per month not $19.99 per month. Light room was supposed to be included. The deal is still advertised on your site. I don't undeerstand why you are not charging me the correct price???????
Also, Lightroom is asking me for a serial number?????
The home page on the Adobe site still has the $9.99 offer??????

Call charges to the Canary Islands

Hello,
I just wanted to know why does BT differenciate between calls to the Canary Islands and calls to the rest of Spain?
They have the same numbering system, are as much part of Spain as Madrid or Barcelona, calls to/from the islands cost the same as calling any other region in Spain. Plus there's no way at all to differentiate a mobile phone from Spain or from the Canary Islands since the area codes are the same.
This really puzzles me since this is the very first time in my life I've seen this (excluding the Canary Islands from the rest of spain) in terms of calling charges.
It's like having a Spanish telco charge more to calls to Northern Ireland than to calls within England, Wales or Scotland.

Calls to the Canary Islands are treated separately in wholesale terms, ie, the space that we buy on networks to send calls, and historically they have had a higher delivery cost than those for calls to mainland Spain. That’s why there is a difference in the prices offered by us and other operators for calls to these destinations. We are constantly reviewing our prices and may look at this area in future but there are no plans to make any changes at this time.

Problem calling subtemplate outside the catlog

Can Packagemaker create installer with content files outside the bundle?

I'm trying to create an installer with Packagemaker, but the content files need to be outside the final bundle because they're shared with a Windows installer.
I thought I could create a symbolic link to the external folder, but instead of linking from the installer, it copied the files into the bundle. Any idea how to do this, or if it's even possible? I need to be able to do this on 10.3+, if that's relevant.
(I can give a more specific scenario if this isn't clear enough)

Have a launcher script copy the installer to /tmp, then modify the package to point my files. (I'm installing from read-only media.) No, sorry. The internals of a package are quite specific. You need PackageMaker itself to build them.
Things like the receipts are non-essential at this point, only because if I can't get this to work then we will continue to use our terrible installer which leaves none of those things. Those shouldn't be too much trouble if I can get the rest to work.
There are some 3rd party installers like Installer VISE. The sad part is that they tend to make the MacOS X Installer look good.
If the guy responsible for that is interested I'll show him Inno Setup, but we have a working Windows installer, so he probably won't want to mess with it.
I agree, but tell him about it anyway. The next time you have to build a Windows installer, he could use Inno Setup and get it done in a couple of hours and then have time to help with the mess that is software deployment on MacOS X.

Charging outside the U.S. (need adaptor?)

a friend of mine is over in Iraq digging up bombs and such, and he took his G4 powerbook with him to keep in touch with us all here at home. He e-mailed me a question yesterday that I thought you guys might be able to help me answer. He wrote . . can my G4 run 220 volt without a transformer or will it fry it...i have an adapter but i'm not gonna plug it in untill i hear from yah . . .

All the powerbook power supplies that I have seen include a label on the underside (or the side) stating what their operating voltage range, frequency, and current are.
Your friend should check that to get the answer. (I've never encountered one that doesn't run between 110-240V, but that doesn't mean they don't exist - there were problems with US-purchased G5 iMacs not containing international power supplies!)

Calling Options Team from outside the UK

I am away on business and I need to call BT Options Team urgently due to a flood in my office back home. All numbers are 0800 numbers or go through to call waiting numbers with no idea how long it will take to get through. Having waited 45 minutes listening to the 'in a queue message' I had to hang up. Anyone know the correct number to call from outside the UK and how one can get through or email the team since there appears to be no one there.

My bundle price changes with the wind! Or who you talk to at Verizon ...

I need help navigating this swamp.
1. I get my monthly bill and it is $50 more than my bundle price. I haven't changed anything or added any services.
2. On the monthly bill it also claims I didn't pay the bill for the previous month, and lists the past due amount as my bundle price + the extra mystery $50. *waves about cancelled check to Verizon for the correct bundle price*
3. I get online to cross check and myverizon is showing my bill with amount in error.
4. I check My Services and the bundle price is listed correctly with an option to reup for 2 years with a bundle price that is $20 lower than my current bundle.
5. I get interrupted ..... I come back to the website My Services 3 hours later and the reup for 2 years price has changed. It has increased $10.
And yes, knowing how Verizon is nothing but mass confusion when it comes to billing I have screen shots of all of it. Not that it matters because talking to the generic customer service people? Truly, I'd rather take poison.
Does anyone know of a phone number or a process that works to connect with someone who actually has knowledge and authority to clean this mess up? When the CS rep tells me that she doesn't have access to my billing records? And then tries to UPSELL me on premium services without even attempting to fix my problem? JUST NO.
Anyone? Help?

Hi, I had the same question and I just asked the "iTunes Store/Mac App Store Customer Support" this question. They basically said that if I purchased "The Dark Knight Trilogy" I would be charged for all three movies, even though I have previously bought the two of the three movies.
It appears that movie bundles doesn't work like "complete my album" for music. If you purchased recently, you could try explaining the situation to the iTunes Support staff and seeing if they will remove "the Dark Knife Rises" by giving you store credit, then you can purchase the Trilogy instead. It could be worth a try.

H.264 doesn't seem to work... until I initiate a 3-way call

I seem to have a weird problem with iChat video conferencing. As the post subject indicates--I believe iChat doesn't automatically use H.264 (at least on my configuration) in two-way video calls but does it in multi-way calls, or more specifically after a multi-way call. I discovered it by:
1. initiating a normal 2-way call - video's rather blocky, bandwidth use ~200 both ways
2. adding a 3rd person to the call - video even blockier, still same bandwidth usage
3. removing the 3rd person from the call - video suddenly gets much better (compared to the initial 2-way call, not only to the 3-way call!) with the same bandwidth usage - which makes me think it's H.264 that suddenly gets activated.
I get this with all of my iChat contacts (obviously I had them all check, I was just stunned by the sudden quality increase I got). I'm on a 2.16GHz Core 2 Duo MacBook Pro so it's not a CPU speed issue. The only thing I can think of is that it might be due to the fact that I had migrated my system using Migration Assistant from a 12" PowerBook which might not have been H.264 capable (?) - at any rate I tried trashing iChat's .plists but to no avail.
I'd be very grateful for any ideas...

OK here's what the logs say--not surprisingly, it seems like the MacBook Pro is H.264 capable. What puzzles me is why iChat is looking into a "G4" file but I guess it doesn't matter much if it still finds it OK. I also tried starting a conference etc and having a look at the logs but the sheer amount of data spat out by iChat is rather daunting--is there anything specific I should be looking for?

HTC ThunderBolt Three-Way Calling

Hi everyone. I've searched the forum but haven't found a topic that discusses this problem I have. When I'm using three way calling feature on the Thunderbolt and want to disconnect just one call and continue with the other, the device drops both calls instead of just one. I checked the user manual and it says that I just need to select the call that I want to end press end call. For some reason both calls end. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

There is much confusion on whether this is by design or a flaw and whatnot. And some of the confusion may be mine.
Let me say first, my post on another thread that has been copy/pasted here was about call waiting only. It had nothing to do with a three-way conference call. The call waiting feature is designed to have both calls end and the original call rings back in five seconds later. The original caller in that scenario doesn't know it's ringing back to you, they're still on-hold and when you answer the call-back, they are re-joining you.
Now, in this thread about three-way calling, I believe what we are trying to correct (and establish something is wrong) is the 'private call' feature that allows you to basically end the 3-way call and go back to a two-way call with the first participant. And that function is not working properly, resulting in both calls ending. I have a Thunderbolt and have never used the three-way conference call feature. And you can imagine the amount of people making use of this feature is far smaller than those making two-way calls. I only say that because internally we have nothing posted about this issue, making it hard to fix in any amount of software updates. I have tested three-way calling with two different thunderbolts and I have the same results. No 'Private Call' option.
So, I will take this information and escalate to our product team for further investigation in hopes we can correct it in a future update!
Please politely advise here if I'm way off base or not.

Bundle items don't have bundle price

The UK 'Finding Nemo / Monster's, Inc. Bundle' that seems to be recently relisted, has the exact price of the 2 items combined and not the bundle price.
One of the reviews from when it was previously listed back in 2012 mentions that the price was a standard bundle price.

The discounted price on the bundle may have expired and it's now just convenience, but go here:

and follow the instructions to report the issue to the iTunes Store. Perhaps they can clarify the issue, at least.

Yes. It will completely disable the cellular radio. You can turn WiFi on while the phone is in Airplane mode, so you can used data when connecte to a WiFi network.

PO with FREE of charge position - goods receipt change the average price

Hi Experts,
in our SAP system we have a special situation concerning the PO with free of charge (FOC) items.
We set the flag "Free" in the PO position for all FOC items. When we book the good receipt for these FOC items SAP creates no accounting document and the average price is changing.
for example: 1 pce is on stock with the value 100; we receive 1 pce for FOC
new average price: (100 + 0) / (1 + 1) = 50
this is a big problem for us.
for us - the goods receipt for the FOC articles must be with the actual average price (table MBEW) similar to a return goods booking in the SD Module - movement type 653 !
this means for our example: 1 pce is on stock with the value 100; we receive 1 pce for FOC
new average price: (100 + 100 (acutal average price)) / (1 + 1) = 100
I read a lot of OSS notes and many entries in the forums and I think many other companies have the same problem.
is there any solution possibility to do that in this way?

it is logical that the moving average price changes. if you dont want that, then you either have to have an extra material master for your free of charge stock, or you need to implement split valuation and can then have batches that are not valuated.
But if you have 10 on hand with a value of 20 $, then the moving average is 2$
if you then get another 10 free of charge, then you have 20 on hand with total value of 20$, which just means 20$ div by 20 quantity = 1 $ MAP.
if SAP would not change the MAP in that moment, then the goods receipt is valuated with the current MAP and the total value of your stock increases to 40. but this is then not a free of charge case.
