Integrating Timeout.PJC in template Form

Hi,
Has anyone implemented the new "timeout" feature in a template? I had problems with it when calling multiple forms (Form A calling Form B). Have a message error 41355 and the message of inactivity time appears in the first form. Anyone knows how to solve this problem?
Please help!
Thanks

  • Timeout javabean and called form?

I have a 10g form that acts as a menu and calls other forms using the call_form built-in. I would like to add the timeout javabean that is included in the 10g demos, but was wondering if I needed to add it to all of the forms or could I just add it to the main menu form? Does anyone know how this bean works with called forms?

Would you tell me the steps to add TimeOut PJC to a form? I' have some errors in Oracle Forms Builder when running the form.

Again, please see my update in:
    Timeout javabean and called form?
Also, unless you are using Forms 10.1.2.2, the use of Sun JRE 1.5 is not certified and therefore not supported.
Refer to the Client Statement of Direction for more details:

  • From Forms Product Management - Forms Timeout PJC

We have just launched a new timeout PJC which will timeout a Forms sessiosn depending on user inactivity.
Its available at http://otn.oracle.com/products/forms and click on the top news item.

  • Alert message and timeout PJC

    Hi,
We are using timeout PJC  functionality for our web forms. It's working fine and the form application display the alert/message whenever inactivity time reaches(which is set for 30 minutes). The issue is when you minimized the form application by clicking the browser's minimized button and now let say you are working in Toad or some other application and in a mean time your form application which is minimized and its inactivity time reaches but the alert/message is hidden with the minimized form application. Is there anyway to show the alert/message in my current working window/application? Any advise/suggestion please?
    Thanks

  • Timeout PJC - Problem exiting when Message box or LOV is displayed.

I'm trying to integrate the Timeout PJC into my Oracle Forms. During testing, I noticed that although the timeout expires and Form A displays an expiry message, Form B will not exit if a Message Box or LOV is present requiring a response by a user. Once the user responds and these windows are closed, the user is returned to Form A and the timeout works as expected.
All the code for the Timeout PJC including the Java Bean is in Form A. On Form
    B, I'm using the WHEN-TIMER-EXPIRED, WHEN-WINDOW-ACTIVATED and
ON-ERROR triggers to handle the problem with the error message 41355
(Cannot navigate to Form ...) which works fine. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Does anyone have any suggestion to my question below?. Is there a way to exit a Form when the Timeout PJC expires and a Message Box or List of Value (LOV) requires a response by the user. I would like to exit the form and the application when there is no activity after a specified time but I'm having this issue. Thanks for you assistance.

    Hello,

    sure …

    it isn't.

  • Help:plzz tell me how to save template form without losing any attached lib

    Hell forum!
plzz try to help me on how to save the template form to my desktop without losing any attached lib's to customize that form

    Hi,
Copy all the library files from $AU_TOP/Resources and template.fmb and appstand.fmb from $AU_TOP/forms/US to same local directory.
Set FORM60_PATH in the REGEDIT as C:\orant\TOOLS\OPEN60\PLSQLLIB;D:\Local Directory. Local Directory means where you copied lib files and template form.
Open template in form6i and rename the template form. Do the customizations what ever you want.

    Hello,
I have spent a lot of time to indicate wherever I could that you don't have to ask questions about the LAF on this forum. You have two other different locations, a dedicated email and a dedicated forum.
At the first sight, it seems that you have not used the laf_10123.jar in your archive tag.
    Thank you,
    Francois

  • Sorting unstructured resume info into a template form

    Hi
I need to write a java program that can read the various info in a resume e.g. "degree from XX university" which are apparently unstructured and place it into a structured template form.
This is supposed to work for all kinds of resumes.
Searched the web but they are mainly about XML.
I am thinking of writing program that speed up the process instead of going through the database first, although that may slow down the process.
What is the best way to use Java to do this? Any idea?
If it has to involve a database, any idea on the most efficient method to achieve my objective?
    Thanks!

    Thanks,

  • What is "Template Form" file?

I was asked to send a magazine company a PDF or JPG of a logo that must be in a "template form". I already sent a high-res PDF, EPS, and JPG file with white background knocked out, but they requested the same thing again, only in a this "template form" - I have no idea what they are talking about.
I thought these Template Forms were Microsoft related files...or something. Can I 'save as' this form in AI?
    Any guidance is truly appreciated.
    Thanks so much!

  • What Should the template form have ?

What Should the template form have ?
Object Library ; which has the most common used inherited triggers ?
    and ???
    Regards,
    Abdetu...

If you look at the form of the standard object library (OFGWEBOL.fmb) you will see that there is no code (except for a few program units). The OL is really meant for look and feel kind of stuff.
Also, it is far easier to maintain code in a pll library.
