3rd Party classes = Error preverifying class in WTK?

I am migrating a project done in Eclipse to WTK2.2, it uses 3rd party classes. It worked fine in Eclipse.
When I try to build i get
Error preverifying class com.philips.software.wireless.nfc.DeviceCapabilities
ERROR: native methods should not appear
Please advice

You cannot use any 3rd pary classes, specially not if they use native methods!

I am using JBuilder 9 Enterprise and have just loaded on the latest J2ME Wireless Tookit which includes CLDC 1.1. I have developed a project using a previous version. Now when I compile I get the following error:
Error preverifying Class blah
java/lang/VerifyError
Can anyone help me out on what setting to change in JBuilder? I have changed the SDK to the correct one. Also, I read that there is a problem with 1.4 as follows:
By default, version 1.4 of the development kit generates class files for version 1.2 of the Java Virtual Machine, while earlier versions of the development kit generated class files for JVM version 1.1. As of this writing, the preverify utility expects version 1.1 class files, so it fails when you give it version 1.2 files generated by the newer development kit. To solve this problem, simply use javac's -target flag to have it generate version 1.1 class files:
javac -target 1.1 -bootclasspath \j2mewtk\lib\midpapi.zip MyClass.java
The Wireless Toolkit sets the target to 1.1 automatically, so you shouldn't see this problem if you're using KToolbar for all your builds. If you're compiling by hand, or you're using KToolbar for all your builds. If you're compiling by hand, or you're using Ant or a make utility or an IDE, be sure to set the appropriate compiler flags.
I can't seem to locate where to change in Jbuilder though.

one answer I was told was:
(This is for JBuilder X, but it might be the same for 9):
Right click on your project .jpx on the top-left and select properties.
Go to the Build -> Java option
Then, there should be an entry for target JVM, change that to "All Java SDKs"
and I think that should do it.
Tried that but with no luck.
I also tried it with just selecting "java 2 SDK, Ver 1.4 and above" but that didn't work either.
The program builds ok but i still get that error..
I also found another hint I think. When I change my doubles to int's the error does not come up and the program builds fine. But, I thought CLDC 1.1 allowed doubles and floats?
Any suggestions would be more than welcome.

when I run the Project_MIDP project.
I’m running Netbeans 7.0.1, ME 3.0.5, and LWUIT 1.5. I’ve got a trivial GUI that I made in the resource editor consisting of a very simple theme and one label. l generated the Netbeans projects from the resource editor, resolved the reference by pointing at the 3.0.5 in the project configuration. I’ve found that the problem goes away if I deselect the Mobile 3D Graphics Optional Package 1.1 checkbox in the Optional Packages of the Project configuration but I then run into a problem with being unable to find the animations. (I’m not using any animations or transitions, as I said, its a trivial GUI).
I would greatly appreciate any assistance anyone could provide

On creating Purchase order for requirement created for a customer sales order stock, if the customer sales order stock is not valuated, this means a Consumption ( GBB ) account is involved here. If the posting is a consumption account, SAP allows the user to decide whether it should be autotmatically or manually entered. Because of this option, system need this account to be set with Field 'Automatic posting only' to ' '.
With this field 'Automatic posting only' setting to ' ', whether the account can be automatically or manually entered is then controlled by the field status in the PO creation. If you do not want the user to enter the account manually, then this account should be set to display mode in PO.
If the customer sales order stock is valuated, then in General business process, this would involve a BSX ( material account )
postings. Normally this is automatically derived during PO creations. No manual enterring is allowed. Thus if it is correct to set this account with field Automatic posting only' setting to 'X' in FI settings.
Please read the note 37563.

If you haven't done so already, you have to install JMF -- Java Media Framework, which you can download from the Sun website ( http://java.sun.com ). After that, you have to add that library to your project, in your project settings dialog.

3rd party remittance error

Hello All,
We have an issue with posting 3rd party tax payments .We created customer account types Z and X to post with PERNRs and assigned them to customer wage types and technical wage types (like /404). Righr now when we try to do 3rd party remittance we always has this error "No entry in T52EK for key /404 F or Q"
Did anyone has similar situation like we have.

3rd Party Posting error

I am getting error message "Reversal of Posting item failed. Table T51R5 lock"
This error message occurs while Posting live 3rd Party. In Simulation posting it does not give error.
Please let me what this error means and what could be cause.

Two 3rd party jars share common class, signed differently

hi,
i have struck a problem where a SecurityException is thrown because two third party jars that are signed contain a class common to a package.
Jar A:
com.sun.xml.util.XmlChars
Jar B:
com.sun.xml.util.XmlChars
com.sun.xml.util.MessageCatalog
com.sun.xml.util.SomethingSomething
I can't touch Jar A, but Jar B can be edited. Since the security granularity seems to be a package level according to the error message, deleting XmlChars from Jar B doesn't work since both jars still contain classes from the same package.
Jar B does need the MessageCatalog so I can't remove it. I can only think of two options from here
1) find a Jar signed by the A people (JAXB) that contains the extra classes
2) some clever trick with classloaders - but I'm not sure what the issues are here..

I think this is safe too. Would be interested if anyone knows more about this area - eg. what if B needed to access something in A or vice versa, or both ways simultaneously?

Cancel 3rd party service error message

Signed up for 7 day free trial of Mobile TV and have been trying to cancel it before trial period is over. When I try to access Mobile TV under my listed purchases I continue to get Error 500 message telling me I cannot access at this time. I called customer service yesterday and rep couldn't find record of that purchase so he put a purchase block on my number and assured me I wouldn't be charged the monthly fee. This needs to be resolved correctly as I will refuse to pay those charges.

Have you tried removing it online?
If you login to your account, choose your line, choose add or change services. Remove mobile TV and save.
I would certainly call or check your account again to make sure it is not on the billing.

3rd Party Posting Error - Document Transfer has Failed

Our posting run was created and the document was released. When we try to post, we get a message saying the the document has been rejected and the status is changed to "Document Transfer Has Failed".
Does anyone know how we can clear this and get the document to post?

I just had them delete the document and re-run and it posted. That still doesn't answer the question as to why it happened in the first place.

WTK2.2, error preverifying

I use WTK2.2 and JDK 1.4.2_06.
When I build in WTK I get the following error message:
"Error preverifying class FIPA OptDateTimeHilder
java lang/NoClassDefFoundError: org/omg/CORBA/portable/Streamable"
I do not have any clue how to resolve this.

I just found this error also.
Solution is just not package up this file in your MIDlet.
Since it only contains final statics these values where used are inserted directly into the other classes.
So you don't need this class in the MIDlet.
It's a bit poor the preverify fails though. Could have a more usful error message.

most of the projects I've seem organize source, binaries etc. in the following directory structure:
lib - external libraries
src - the actual source code
conf - configuration files
dist - created distributables
let's say you have everything in the d:\projects\myproject directory.
-> compile with
javac -classpath d:\projects\myproject\src
-> run classes with
java -classpath d:\projects\myproject\src
