4.1 update Duration

Hello everyone !
I'M having a problem with my iphone 4
i just bought it and Im trying to update it to 4.1 with itunes
the update started like 5 hours ago and know it's just frozen and nothing happens
does anyone know how much time will it take ? or is there something wronge going on here
please help me !!!!
p.s : sorry for my bad english

I recommend downloading the update first. At nearly 600 MBytes, it can take quite a while just to get it downloaded. Once you have it, it should take around 30 minutes or so to install it. Maybe less.

Update Duration based on add/delete Resources

Hi,
I'm new to Primavera and I'm
sure this is a simply thing to do with the right
settings.
What I want to do is
change the initial duration of a task automatically when
additional resources are either added or deleted. Example:
A task takes 2 days to complete
with 1 resource.
Add a new resource and this
should reduce the duration down to 1 day. 
I've tried changing the 'Duration Type'
but it doesn't seem to work as I expect it.

In the above scenario change the activity type from
Task Dependent to Resource Dependent and the Duration
type to Fixed Units or Fixed Units/Time. 
In this case the movement you add
additional resource it will change the duration.But
then you also need to change the Budget Units of the
Resource as dates and then duration will be calculated
according to Resource availibilty.

Updating Activities

In the Status Tab for an Activity still in progress, I
don�(tm)t understand the relationships between Remaining
Duration, Duration at Complete; Finished Date, % Duration
Complete and Actual and Remaining Resource Units. 
Under the General Tab, I have set options
to �(tm)Task Dependent�(tm); �(tm)Fixed Duration and
Units�(tm); and �(tm)% Complete = Duration�(tm). 
If an activity that has Started has a
duration of 10 days and the Resource has worked 24 hours
(3 days); I manually update the Remaining Duration to show
7 days, but this results in the Finished Date being
automatically recalculated to an earlier date which does
not relate to the information I�(tm)ve input. I then
update Duration % complete as 30% and the number of Actual
units as 24 hours.
I then
Reschedule the Project and end up with a new
Duration-at-Complete which is several days larger than the
Original Duration and is not (that I can see) related to
the days worked and days remaining. The Finish date is
also recalculated and is well into the future compared to
the Remaining 7 days to complete the Activity. 
Can someone please help me understand the
interconnection between these parameters?

After re-reading the Primavera User manual and
developing a matrix with the various parameters and
running through the different options in Primavera, I
now understand the relationships. The main issue was
correctly entering the Data Date and recognizing that
Actuals are only applied up to the work day prior to
the Data Date.

SharePoint 2013 error 8059 & Excel Web service issues

Hello
The issues I am getting is a 8059 error "and exception occurred when trying to issue security
token" it then asks me to turn on "includeexceptiondetailsinfaults" whichIi try to do on the security token service web.config. when I do this it Error 500's and I can't even access the SharePoint site, once I remove the code line I can access
the site but cant get any more information regarding the errors .
Any suggestions? In the ULS logs the error appears on numerous occasions.
Next issue is regarding Excel web access, it reports an error of "we're sorry we ran into a
problem completing your request. please try again in a few minutes"
I tried switching form workbook url to local but I am not sure if that's the solution, I have seen
that it resolved the issue for other users but not for me.

The ULS logs report a number of entries the key one's being regarding load balancing.
It seems to suggest UNC or permissions but I don't know where to go from here.

We've seen this error when the system was under load using SharePoint 2013 workflows. We tracked it back to problems with the distributed cache service. The fix is supposed to be applying CU3 or CU4 for the AppFabric Cache and potential changing some of

No Blackberry ID shown on Playbook in General section of the ABOUT Tab...

I have a collection of Playbooks with no Blackberry ID established...   Current version is 1.0.0.0 or 1.0.1... in either case the playbook will not update wi fi fashion because without the ID the playbook will not connect with the Update Server..
Some of the tablets have a SET UP icon , located in the area where the browser and other Icons are in the main page of the screen, that as well will not let me acknowledge after the location and time zone is determined... saying the connection is timed out... I know from setting up several of these, that if I could just get past the agreement of the location/time zone page... I could set up a BlackBerry ID... which I have done on sevral wierlessly perfectly.
There is nothing wrong with the wi fi connection .. there are 3 and 4 full bars on the WI Fi icon on the playbook display
Do not say or suggest using the USB port... as an access to the BlackBerry Desktop, as you are well aware that not having an ID established on the Playbook prevents the desktop program from recognizing the playbook as a device connected to the computer...
Not that THAT is the only issue with the USB port connection... AS WE ALL WELL KNOW... Should have been clearly posted, detailed, shouted from the street.... that using the USB mini port as a charging port lessens the life expectancy of the port for Desktop connecton... Not to mention it has such substancially less value in charging the playbook... than the magnetic quick charger or docking station... it did more damage than good to offer that as an option.... Hence the constant flow of Playbooks listed in E bay... that won't charge as well as non function usb mini ports...
So lets not hear how there is no engineering to reformat the hard drive or establish a BlackBerry ID on an item that some lunkhead started just USING before they set it up...   since I have been reconfiguring and cleaning up the 20 we have for our personnel... I have charged and updated 12 of the 20... and have 8 needing ID's and updates established...
Allways starting with fully charged batteries as well as sitting the Playbook in a docing station keeping charge for the updates duration, which is not much longer than 5 or 6 minutes....   the easy ones being the ones with passwords that could be rewritten after the final fail attempt completely erased the tablet...   The security Wipe.. only wipes out DATA and does not take the tablet back to a default set up... where I can establish the BlackBerry ID at that point...

Went to the SUPPORT tab in the home page..  scrolled to the TABLETS and it brought me to the tablet install demo video.  Which is the preliminary steps to follow to install the BlackBerry ID...
Spent another hour reading all the article details on how to set up a tablet... listened to the entire video demo on all aspects of the tablets installand use... all of them...   looking specifically for any links or even suggestions to UPDATE, UPDATES, ID LOG IN, something...
In Software and Updates.. it says... I must be connected to a wi fi... ( I am ) it says... a notification will appear... which in a collection of 8 Tablets ranging from Update Version 1.0.0.0 to 1.0.1.xxx It is not acknowledging any update available...
Still looking for a place to log in... as I have already created individual BBID's for each Tablet at BlackBerry.com, not wanting to mix the various android applications... In creating those links there was no location or log in application available or applicable...
Appreciate your help John...   looking forward to that little thing I'm missing... Not sure you are really familiar with the Playbook... or familiar with what I am running up against with 8 tablets...   No place to log in to ANY BBID on the tablet itself...   The users.. simply did not establish an ID, Not wrong ID, not missing password, lesson learned, never let a manager hand out a tablet like it was a christmas gift... and again even the few of the playbooks that have viable mini usb ports to connect to a computer to use the deaktop application.. are not being recognised as there is no ID established...

Help Required for date display & mutating trigger

I need clarification for 2 problems.
Problem 1
Is there a possibility to display the values with a date range.
I mean if there is no data for a particular date within the given range. it should display some null value.
Eg.
table name : sample

1 4-may-2004 xyz engr-2
The query is

The result of query will be

Missing dataSourceId when retrieving report dataproviders

Hi,
I'm writing script that is retrieving information about reports from CMC and I have some issues with retrieving data provider details.
For some reason, my script is not able to retrieve dataSourceId in some reports, it's empty:

Prevent shadow system in SUM

Hello
I have installed a new PI 7.4 system (SR 1) and now I'm updating it from SP 5 to the newest, SP 7 (both java and ABAP stacks)
I'm using SUM 1 SP 10 patch 8, which is the newest SUM version.
Is there any way to prevent SUM from creating a shadow system? this is just 2 support packages X 6 ABAP components. The system is brand new and I don't care about the downtime, only about the entire update duration.
SUM asked me if I want "Standard" or "Advanced" downtime configuration and I chose standard.

How can we integrate CATS & PPM and to retrieve CATS time recording data in PPM ?

Dear experts,
Following the previous question of Ruxandra Petrina called "record times with CATS", I am facing an issue with the report DPR_CATS_CPR_TRANSF : it shows nothing despite I activated PPM accounting integration.
There are the steps I followed, I really don't understand what is missing. In PPM I can transfer and assign my projects to WBS elements automatically or manually.
1. We allowed time confirmation for projects
2. We replicated personal number as business partners
3. We activated worklists and project assignments @ data entry profiles
4. We set up ALE & RFC connections
5. We activated the integration scenarios on WBS element : automatic and manual creation of WBS element assigned to PPM elements. Then we set up data profiles for time recording in cat2.
6. We enter times, we released it (approval is not required) + saving
7; We launch the program in SE38 of both ERP or SOLMAN systems : NOTHING appears.
Our goal is to see the times recorded in CATS in the Confirmed work field of PPM.
Can you please help me out with this issue ?

If tasks assigned to a user is not listed in CAT2 worklist, then first we need to ensure that the tasks are displayed in the worklist. So the user confirm the times for the tasks using this list and after that only we should be running the report 'DPR_CATS_CPR_TRANF' to transfer the actual times entered by user in CAT2 to PPM project task.
To integrate CATS with PPM, you need to follow these steps.
Customisations:
1) Enable 'Time recording' for tasks & 'Account integration' in project type
2) Customisation related to 'Accounting integration' to be carried out (either single object / Hierarchical controlling, for testing better to use single object - Internal order, since it is easier)
3) Create a time sheet data entry profile
(Refer thread Record working times with CATS for details)
4) Ensure all object links(internal order / WBS) RFC destinations are updated correctly.
Master data:
Business partners creation with BUP003-Employee role & link to HR personnel number
(This is not required if HR integration is activated, since the system creates the BP's automatically. But manually we need to validate the BP's for linkage with few users)
Project:
1) Create project using customised project type (where time recording/accounting integration is enabled)
2) Structure the project with phase/tasks
3) Update duration/work etc., to the tasks
3) Create project roles & staff a resource (BP which is validated for HR personnel number linkage).
4) Assign task to project role with resource in Project role-->task tab
6) Release the project definition and also check for phase/tasks release
7) Change the status of project definition to 'Flag for transfer' (Can be done before project release also)
8) Check whether the internal order / PS project with WBS is created in ERP system(Based on customisation) and linked to project. Check can be made in accounting tab of the project. (If it is not created, then check for object link RFC destination correctness)
In case of automatic internal order creation process, you need to enter the org unit. data in project definition-->additional data of the project.
CATS:
After completing all the steps, the task assigned to the user will appear in the CAT2 transaction.
1) User can confirm the task with actual hours.
2) Run the CATS transfer report mentioned above to update the data in PPM project.

Based on the error message that “Description: Failed to decrypt protected XML node "DTS:Password" with error 0x8009000B "Key not valid for use in specified state.". You may not be authorized to access this information. This error occurs
when there is a cryptographic error.”, it seems that the issue is related to Protection Level Settings.
During development, the default value of the protection level of packages is EncryptSensitiveWithUserKey. In this way, uses a key that is based on the current user profile to encrypt only the values of sensitive properties in the package. Only the same user
who uses the same profile can load the package. If a different user attempts to execute the package, package execution fails. To fix this issue, please change this:
Package Proprties Window >ProtectionLevel -- Change that to EncryptSensitiveWithPassword PackagePassword -- enter password-> somepassword
Then on SQL Agent Job Step, go the Command Line Tab, manually edit command line with the command below:
/De[crypt] password
As to the error message” Acct Connection manager "Flat File Connection Manager 2"     Description: The file name "\\sybase03\ong_uploads\Accounts\Account.csv"
specified in the connection was not valid.”, the error occurs because of the UNC path is either does not exist or the access to it is denied to the current user. Please check this issue.

BAPI for updating Maintain Duration in Transportation and Delivery scheduling

Hi all,
Iam looking for a BAPI to update the Duration Times in Transportation and Delivery scheduling. I reluctant to use recording on SM30 Table maintenance T code and use it in LSMW. Is there a BAPI or Standard i/p Program to load these details. I have more than 200000 records to input.
A list of all BAPI's in Transportation Management module would be great as well.

@praveen: I tried the solution provided by you and it worked for me in this context. But it seems this BADI gets triggered every time the delivery is getting saved. So for my test purposes, I'm triggering this BADI in a program, but in actual scenario, the BADI would be called on every sy-ucomm = 'SICH_T' i.e. SAVE. hence, I can't separate my piece of code using this condition.
I'm trying to call my FM(update module in collective run mode) inside this BADI in backgrnd task as a separate unit but this doesn't seem to work.
Any more suggestions?

External Disply flickers and went Black for a short duration after yosemite update 10.10.2

hi,
i got a mac book pro late 2008 and since todays update my external monitor flickers and went black for a short duration.
It seems that it happens, when i start a new app or i move a window across the displays.
Disabling the automated scaling of the resolution reduced the flickering but it still happens.
Does anyone faces the same problems and have an idea how to fix it?
I would appreciate it.

It sounds like you've noticed flickering on your external display after updating OS X Yosemite.
I'd recommend starting with these resets to troubleshoot the situation:
You can reset the Mac's parameter RAM and SMC.
You can find these steps in this article:

If the behavior continues, try going through the steps in the "Update your software and firmware" and "No video or no signal, image distortion, 'snow,' or flickering" sections of this article, as well.

Extended duration after new Snow Leopard Update

My Mac Pro downloaded a new update the other day and now my Quicktime has a problem with viewing videos. For some strange reason, when I watch a clip or a movie, the duration of the clip or movie is extended by alot. IE: a 30 second clip's duration turns into 6 minutes. The clip itself is viewable, but after the clip ends, the last frame hangs and Quicktime just plays it through the 6 minutes.
Anyone else have this problem?

I'm trying to add/update an activity using the DI Server. The XML request is generated properly (no schema errors) and sent to the DI Server. In the XML, I have (among other things):
<Recontact>20070802</Recontact>
<StartTime>1800</StartTime>
<EndDueDate>20070803</EndDueDate>
<EndTime>1815</EndTime>
However, I get an error response from the DI Server saying Duration does not match start/end time [OCLG.Duration].
According to the DI Documentation,
The duration value specifies the number of minutes, hours, or days according to the DurationType.
The duration value must be equal or greater than 0.
In case the start time (days + hours) and end time (days + hours) are specified, then the system recalculates the duration time.
Now - the problem is if I specify the <StartDate></StartDate> tag in my source XML, I get an invalid schema error. If I use <Recontact>, I get the Duration not defined error.
Is there any way around this without actually setting the duration (and get SAP to calculate it, like it says in TFM)?
