4) Numerial input for a group of data

4) I have a table of hundreds of data, and all of them need a input. How can I make only one numeral input for all of them? That means I click any data in the table I can get to the same numeral input popup window and enter a number and it goes to the object I clicked on?

It doesn't work. See the attachment below.
I tried many different expressions of the links, even I directly used DL1.V3100, none of them worked.
I noticed that in some expressions the link wouldn't show up in the selection list of the Pot2 remote URL, mycomputer\process1; and if I click on mycomputer\process1 under network, the Lookout itself became dead, and I got to shut down lookout.
If you have a PLC (may not be the same DL260 as I used) Please try to make this test program work. I doubt the dynamic link will work in this way.
If it doesn't working in this way, please find another way to help.

    It is unclear what you are trying to achieve, you said that it is SQL Server 2000 but provide a sample data with SQL Server 2008 syntax
    Is it possible to use UNION ALL for your queries to make its one

  • Separate Header, Main, Trailer for each group of date

    Hi,
    I have report built-in Oracle Reports10g R2, with Header, Main, Trailer sections, I am running report for different date parameters, for instance date between 29-30 Dec, 11.
    But when i get output of the report it do format as I expect, mean output comes in this way Header(29, 30 Dec), Main(29, 30 Dec), Trailer(29, 30). I made separate repeating frame for all of 3 sections which is based on DATE parameter. I want output to be Header(29 Dec), Main(29 Dec), Trailer(29) and same for 30th Dec.
    Somebody will guide me please what is wrong with my report.

    According to your description, you want to export each group to separate Excel File. As tested in my environment, we can use filter and subscription to achieve your goal. Please refer to the following steps:
    Supposing we have a table grouping on SalesTerritoryGroup field, we can create another dataset Dataset2 using the simple queries "Select distinct SalesTerritoryGroup from ...".
    Add a parameter @SalesTerritoryGroup to the report, then get Available Values from Dataset2 SalesTerritoryGroup field.
    Create a filter on the dataset used to extract report data, set Expression: SalesTerritoryGroup, Operator: =, Value: [@SalesTerritoryGroup].
    Deploy the report to report manager and create a data-driven subscription with Windows File Share delivery extension.
    In step 3 of creating the subscription, specify the query as "Select distinct  SalesTerritoryGroup  from ..." and click on Validate button.
    In step 4, set file name as Get the value from the database: SalesTerritoryGroup, and set Render Format to Excel.
    In step 5, as to the SalesTerritoryGroup parameter values, select SalesTerritoryGroup from Get the value from the database drop down list.
    Create a schedule for the subscription, then click Finish.

    You could also use T Code : SCAT/SCEM  for mass upload or deload.
    You may use below method to create SCAT in ECC (This is not a Direct method)
    1) Run transaction SCEM
    2) Enter a CATT name
    3) Click on change, prompt appears saying it doesn't exist, do you want to
    create. Click yes.
    4) Enter the TCODE to record.
    5) Execute the TCODE and save data.
    6) Back out. Click End and copy button.
    7) Double-click the TCD on the left side of screen
    8) Click F5 or Field Inputs Variants
    9) Use black down-arrow to step through screens.
    10) Double click on fields to set variables. (SAP adds leading & to each
    variable name).
    11) Save and back out.
    12) Go to menu path Environment --> Extended CATT.
    13) Click change and change type from (M) Manual Test Case to (C) CATT.
    14) Assign component.
    15) Click save. Back out.
    16) Execute SCAT and Go to --> Variants --> Export Default and save as text
    file.
    17) Edit file with new test data.
    18) Execute CATT.
    After step 6 you can also leave SCEM and run SCAT and perform the
    parameterization there as usual.

    I'm new to Oracle development.
    I've done some work with pl/sql, sql*Plus,
    and ORacle forms.
    I'd like to allow the user to do a query
    in forms, then give them the option of
    modifying all rows returned by the query
    with a column value they can specify.
    I know how to do a forms query, know how
    to prompt for variables they can input,
    but how do I then take that information and
    update the rows? Don't know what "handle" to
    use to refer to the rows returned.
    My other thought, would be to write the whole
    thing in pl/sql. But pl/sql won't allow me to
    use the prompt/accept commands. (Why?)
    I wanted to create a nice loop that would allow
    the user to make repetitive changes on groups
    of data. I know I need to use a cursor. But
    don't know how to get the prompt/accept part.

    You are simply assuming that the user will enter something that can be interpreted as a double. If you're going to do different things based on some characteristics of the user's input, then you are going to have to check those characteristics yourself (via code that you write). In particular if you want to distinguish between int and double, you're going to have to write code to decide which of those two categories the user's input falls into.

  • How to lock data independently for several groups in Hyperion Planning?

    I 'm developing a forecast application using Hyperion Planning 9.3.1 where the users shall be able to enter their monthly forecast numbers. We have two groups of users. Each group may have up to two forecast updates per month. The groups are independent – say, Group A may have one update for August and they want the numbers to be there by August 10th, while the Group B may have two updates for the same month with the first update to be completed by July 20th and second – by August 5th. Nobody knows in advance how many updates they are going to have for the month and when they are going to have them. Nothing should prohibit the users from updating their forecast numbers for the future months – say, they may enter their September forecast in July.
    Managers of both groups want to make sure that users don't change forecast numbers after the month close. If they plan to have two updates per month – they want data from the 1st update to be locked (become read-only) before they have 2nd update, and data from 2nd update locked after the month close; if they plan to have only one update per month – they want it locked after the month close.
    Any suggestions how I may structure the dimensions of this application to make sure that if I lock first August update for Group B on, say, August 3rd, the other group still can have it open until August 10th?

    What, I am NOT able to figure out How to LINK Hyperion Planning Outline to Oracle EBS HR Tables. cause in Hyperion Outline i m able to view Dimensions Not particular Column to map with EBS HR Table (column).
    Eample:
    In EBS HR we have Employee Number in Per_all_people_f but in Hyperion Planning Dimension is ONLY Employee.

  • Grouping to display null values for all the missing dates

    Hi SAP,
    I am trying to display '0.00' value for all the missing dates in my crystal reports as follows:
    17-Jan-14     40.00
    18-Jan-14       0.00
    19-Jan-14       0.00
    20-Jan-14     80.00
    However, my crystal report is showing as follows:
    17-Jan-14     40.00
    18-Jan-14       0.00
    19-Jan-14
    20-Jan-14     80.00
    The missing dates with no data are group together and my '0.00' value is not. Kindly advise me the solution. The formula is shown as per attached.

    You can not bring the key figures in the selection screen for the currency translation. Instead you can apply a currency translation type to respective key figures in the query definition.
    The currency translation type can be defined in RSCUR transaction, where you can maintain the parameters like Exchange Rate Type, Exchange Rate Date etc.

    Nobody will be able to identify the problem without seeing your code. Excel Insert Cells.vi is used to add cells to an existing spreadsheet, not to set the cell value. To do this is a more specific way than the Append Report Text.vi you can use Excel Easy Text.vi or Excel Insert Table.vi. With these vis you can specify the range where you want to insert something.
    For your other question (Two different data types) you can use the Excel Set Cell Format.vi to format a range as a date or something else. You will need to use the Excel format specifiers for this.

    In the interactive reports filter, i couldn't find the 'between' operator for date field (got a 'group by date' in my sql query (source). I am just wondering, Is it beacuse of the group by date clause?. Is there any way to show the 'between' operator in the interactive reports filter.

    I just opened an existing IR style report, went to actions, filter, selected a date column and found between at the bottom of the list of values.. Are you sure the date you are trying to filter on is a true date column?

    I am very new to Oracle Forms and have been tasked with pointing some forms we have to a new server and adding a couple of columns to come areas. Everything was going ok until I got to a the point where I have to add a new column to an area on a form. The forms are pointing to the new tables and the searches are working, or at least seem to be working. How can I tell the data source for a data group? I checked properties for the record group (RECORD_STATISTICS) that populates a certain area on a form and it has query selected as the record group type but there is no query showing. I added the column needed to the column specifications list but it does not show up when I run the form. There is a spot for it because the extra hyphen is there.
    Here is the code that populates the fields on the form. The field I added is the ahs_site column. As mentioned earlier I added that field to the RECORD_STATISTICS data group as well as to all the procedures I can find but am missing something..

    Adding a column to column specification does nothing.
    First of all, check the record group query in record group properties:
    1) In forms builder object tree find that record group, right-click > property palette.
    2) Look for property (just cann't remember exactly its name) where select query is specified.
    3) Add the column you need to the query. Column specification will refresh automatically.
    There is one more way to specify query for record group. Look for calls of POPULATE_GROUP_WITH_QUERY procedure in the form code.
    Forms 6i: menu program > find and replace pl/sql, Forms 10: edit > find and replace pl/sql. In the search field type POPULATE_GROUP_WITH_QUERY. Then see the results where your record group RECORD_STATISTIC is being populated programmatically. If no calls were found - the only data source is in record groups properties.

  • MS Project 2007 - Help with custom field calculation for grouped by dates view

    I am trying to creat a view that counts number of students in courses (while # Students is a custom field that is filled manually and courses are tasks).
    The view should be grouped by Quarters, Months, and weeks (Calculated custom Text fields)
    The weeks groups are displayed by the start day of each week.
    For example:
    The view counts how many students are in courses in a specific week/month/quarter.
    This is the group by definition:
    Those are the fields calculations:
    “WW_Start” field calculation:
    (Year([Start]) & "  W " & Format([Start],"WW") & " " & "   [" & Datevalue(ProjDateSub([Start],CStr(Weekday([Start])-1),"Standard")) & "]")
    “MM” field calculation:
    Year([Start]) & "  M " & Format([Start],"MM")
    Basically it works but it doesn't cover a situation where a course is more then a week.  
    Lets say that the duration of the task is 12 days, the task should appear on 3 different weeks groups.
    But what i did puts the tasks only in the group that shows the first week of the task.
    How can i change my calculations or my view so that in the second, and third week of the task it will also show the task and it's attributes.
    For example:
     - "UV5 ACM" task should also be in W 45 not just W 44.
    Anyone has an idea how to do that?

    I think you understood correctly what is my issue.
    Second, about your question:  the class have the same number of students during the course period.
    It will have 10 students even if the duration is 1 day or 10 days.
    if you look at the basic gantt chart you will see a row like this:
    Task name        Duration        Num_Students     Resource names (Instructors)
    Course YYY       10d                10                       
    Instructor X
    it is an attribute on the task, not the assiment.
    When i group by dates (Weeks, months, quarters) or by another field (can be course type for example) i the students are summed in the task summary level for all tasks.
    Lets say i group by all the tasks (Classes) that are in the 1st quarter, and lets say for the example that there are 3:
    Task 1 -->  5 students
    Task 2 --> 10 students
    Task 3 --> 7 students
    Then, the group by summary should count:
    Quarter 1 - 2014:   22 (students)
    Task 1 --> 5
    Task 2 --> 10
    Task 3 --> 7
    By the way, it doesn't matter if the version is project 2007,2010, 2013, the logic is the same.

    If I understand correctly, you have already added a chart in group footer, and you want to display the chart on the right side of the cell. If I have misunderstood, please don't hesitate to let me know.
    Based on my research, if we directly add a chart into a cell, the chart will fill all of the space in the cell. So in order to achieve your requirement, we can insert this chart into a rectangle, then add the rectangle to the group footer. If we want to
    display the chart on the right side, we can directly drag the chat to the right of the rectangle.
    If there are any misunderstanding, please elaborate the issue for further investigation.
