4GLTE HomeFusion Service Disappears after 2 months and no support from Verizon

I am hoping this may gain some attention, or anyone else can share if this has happened to them
On July 5th, after 2 SOLID months of very good speeds and HomeFusion service with 3+ bars on the router, the service disappeared.
YES: The 4G Signal is GONE, only Verizon 3G. I am in the "4G Extended Area" (HomeFusion does not roll back to 3G)
Also notable, I have a Verizon 4G LTE Ipad and it too used to work on 4G and now only 3G
Now, I have been calling Verizon daily since July 5th, and get no answer, is this service GONE? Is it Broken, When will they fix it , will they fix it.
It has gone from "We will have our network people looking at the tower to, well, it's 4G extended service area and it could just go away, sorry"
Am I crazy, or is this a very poor way to service customers and run a business? If I had a service that they installed and approved on their network, shouldn't they maintain the service, or give notice that the service is going away?  They are still billing me in advance for next month, 7 days of which I have been ale to use 0 GB of bandwidth.
I call tech support, ask to esculate, they tell me it is esculated, there is no one else to talk to. There is no answer or hope of knowing if the service is coming back or if/when they will do anything and decide to do anything except take my money. Oh, I expect a hassle when I tell them I am not paying for something I don't have.
So question: What should I do next, any suggestions on escalation? Seems Verizon could care less about it's 4G LTE network and customers that they put up on a service, they just don't seem to care.

    Check to see if you have an old phone number associated with this person in your address book. When you call someone on Facetime it calls ALL numbers/emails associated with that persons contact sheet! This was my problem, this stranger has my husband's old phone number!

  • Journal entry disappears after saving and not available to post

    Hi Gurus
    On BPC for Netweaver version 7.5 and excel 2003 i am able to save the journal entry but am not able to post it since it disappears after saving. I could see the Journal ID being generated and then the layout gets cleared . i am unable to post this journal. Also when i go to journal manager and tries to list the journals this saved journal does not show up.
    I have already set the application parameter "JRN_MAXCOUNT" to 1000  so that i can see the journals that i create.
    Have any of you faced such an issue?

    Thank you very much for your tip. I had Datasource as one of the header fields and i moved it to the item fields to make it work. I am still not sure why does that. May be because when we create the journal template system proposes only the required fields in Header and if select additional ones its not liking it.
    I cannot come up with a reasoning why we cannot incorporate a non required field in header journal template . The obvious reason that i included the datasource dimension in header itself was because it was a common value that i want to use for all my journals.
    Anyway i hope SAP would either fix this or come up with a reasoning.

    Apply the two fixes below in order as needed:
    Fix #1
    Launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
    Since only one option can be run at a time start with Option #3, followed by #4 and then #1 as needed.
    Fix #2
    Using iPhoto Library Manager  to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
    1 - download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
    2 - click on the Add Library button, navigate to your Home/Pictures folder and select your iPhoto Library folder.
    3 - Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the File ➙ Rebuild Library menu option.
    4 - In the next  window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
    5 - Click on the Create button.
    Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments.  However, books, calendars, cards and slideshows will be lost. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.

  • Sound not working on dm4-2070us Notebook after BIOS and HP Support Assistant

    The sound on my dm4-2070us Pavilion notebook has stopped funcitoning after this evening's BIOS and HP Support Assistant updates.  I am running Windows 7, 64-bit.  After the update, a driver update was installed for the IDT High Definition Audio CODEC.  The update installed fine and is enabled, however, I hear nothing when testing sounds on through my laptop speakers.  Any advice?  I tried rolling back the driver, but that did resolve the issue.

  • Need to know what to do with new phone and no screen and no support from Telus Store

    Purchased a brand new BB Curve 8530, and resigned another three year plan at Telus. Within 20 days, the screen went black and would not light up. I had used the phone in the morning to send a textmail, then set it on the charger. Later in the day, I picked up my phone off the counter, and the screen had gone black. I could not get it back.
    I took the phone back to the Telus Store where I had purchased it, and the man who sold it to me, said it is under warranty, and he checked for moisture and any visible damages or scratches, and did not see anything wrong with it. He called to the main store to indicate that he was exchanging my phone straight accross, but the acting manager told him he could not do that. She said he must take the phone and 150.00 from me to send it in for repair and inspection.
    I was told that if they decided I had done some damage, then the repair fee would be 500.00. (I am sure they would decide the latter, and I am not prepared to spend another 500.00 on a brand new phone!!!)
    I called everyone I could at Telus to complain, but mostly talked to people in India and they said to contact Customer Care. This had been done, and no satisfaction received.
    I tried to contact Blackberry, but no call number found, and only an online forum. No satisfaction there either.
    I emailed CRTC, and have told everybody I know, about Telus, and we are all planning to get away from this company without care or concerns.
    I want to get out of my three year plan with Telus, and I want my money back for this brand new blackberry phone that is sitting on my vanity. ....grrrr!
    Most of my friends are moving to Bell, who incidently told me they would have done a straight out exchange for me...after I showed them the undamaged faulty Blackberry phone, and told them of my very bad experience with the Telus Store.
    Any suggestions as to find any satisfaction in this scenario? I am currently using an old LG phone that was discarded by my daughter, and it is not a Blackberry, but it works, and the screen always lights up on it.

    Unfortunately there is nothing that can be done here.  But as a fellow Telus customer, this is bizarre behaviour, and unfortunately, you're not the first to come on here to complain about Telus' service recently.  I wonder if there have been any major corporate shake ups recently.
    As a heads up, when you call the Telus Mobility line, you actually should be getting someone in Canada.  They may be in Quebec, or they may be of South Asian decent working in a Canadian call centre, but they are  supposed to be in Canada (some call centre activities have been outsourced to the Phillipines for internet and phone troubleshooting though).
    I would like you to go back to the original store and ask to speak to the manager and demand to know why you were charged for a warranty repair.  There may be a legitimate reason, but I certainly don't know it and it's not normal practice for Telus and BlackBerry devices, unless they've come up with a new corporate policy.  Personally, I'd love to know what that reason is.  But it should be as simple as confirming the defect and issuing a replacement refurbished device if an easy repair is not possible.  You might also want to check the terms and conditions of the sale.
    When I purchased my device, I purchased an extended warranty which guarantees that if something goes wrong with it, I get a new refurbished phone with no problem, but I'll admit, I no longer know what the case is for devices without an extended warranty.

  • Fed up with blocked emails and blacklisted IPs from Verizon

    Have been struggling with blocked emails and getting no help from Verizon.  When sending emails via Outlook, most are rejected whether we create them or just forward them.  Sometimes we get a spam notice, but most of the time they just disappear.  Have contacted Verizon support and they have changed the outgoing port number with no improvement.  They blame the signature block we attach to emails, but removing doesn't seem to improve anything.  They say we can't contact the spam people except by email, but that doesn't seem to get any response.  Meanwhile, the IPs that Verizon assigns us are on the blacklist.  Verizon says this has nothing to do with the problem, but I have to think that it does.  Would appreciate some help!

    Verizon doesn't control the blacklist at Spamhaus. The outbound spam filter has been implemented along with other measures as part of an effort to prevent that type of block for Verizon IP addresses, but until spammers are wiped from the planet, blacklisting is going to happen.
    To get off of the list, you have 2 options:
    Appeal to Spamhaus to remove your IP here. Since you have a dynamic IP address, you will have to do this every time you get a  blacklisted IP.
    -OR-
    You can get a static IP address from Verizon. This is the best solution for most businesses.

  • "Service Battery" after recalibration and SMC reset

    I purchased a unibody 13'' MacBook Pro 13 months ago (and didn't have the foresight to buy Apple Care, oof) and I've lately been running into some battery issues.
    I live overseas and I've been traveling a lot recently. I just moved into a new apartment and finally settled in. Within a few days I noticed that my battery was only lasting about 2 hours. I figured it was because I am forced to use a VPN for most my websites. Anyway. Using an app called Coconut Battery, the capacity of the battery was about 78% of its designed 5450mAh.
    I recalibrated my battery last night and woke up to find the battery life had not improved. Following the Apple guide, I rest the the SMC and PRAM.
    After it rebooted, it now says "SERVICE BATTERY." The battery got up to 99% charge and stayed there for over an hour before it finally charged. But now, my capacity, after only 70 cycles, is 52%, 2859mAh.
    What would cause such a dramatic decrease in battery capacity for my laptop?
    What are my options for remedying this issue? Draining the battery and attempting to recalibrate again?
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    When you get the service battery message the battery needs to be replaced - it  is like the service engine warning lamp on a car or the robot waving its arms and yelling "Danger Will Robinson."
    If you have Apple's 3 year AppleCare you may be able to get the battery replaced under warranty - Apple says the battery should retain 80% of its charge after 1000 cycles and you didn't even get 1000 cycles out of it. Even if it isn't still under warranty you can at least ask for free replacement or a price break since it failed before reaching 1000 cycles. I know people who have been successful with such an appeal.

  • Poor installation service waiting 2 months and now...

    Dear BT order managment team, I am hugley dissapointed with the service i have recieved so far.
    I inicially placed my order on the 23rd of October, I had to pay £100 for a deposit also. I was then given an installation date on the 7th of November.
    The engineer came round and had a quick look but the boycotted the days work by just dropping off a missed you form, but i now have a better understanding by speaking to the engineer who came today that it may have been a job to big for him to want to handle.
    I then was given another date for the 3rd of november wich i complained about as the prevouse engineer effectivly skipped his job, I was promised that a manager would call me back by the name of Simon, although he was more helpful initially as he gave me BTwifi username a passsword to help me for teh time being, my reception is very poor so it wasnt the most ideal solution but I made do. I had to call back after a 2 days as the username ran out and i wasnt able to connect anylonger. I have spent hours on the phone to BT as the WiFi service kept running out.
    Today the engineer was more helpful and honest, he spent over an hour looking for the BT live feed at the proeprty but there doesnt seem to be one. he has written up notes on my account and advised me to call and to push to see what they will do next. 
    I have now been told that the supplier needs to send over a surveyor and that no date will be given, i will be notified on a weekly basis. she also told me it will be likely that i wont have broad band this year.
    I am extreamly dissapointed as when i first searched your website your website indicated I can recieve Broadband!!! I have now wasted 2 months chasing and now i have been told it wont be untill next year!!!!!
    I am considering withdrawing alltogether and request compensation as i was fed false information about the installation and been given terrible serivice.
    Even up to now no one has given me any idication on when i can get internet.

  • Artboards disappear after closing and reopening a file

    My coworkers and I have been running into an issue when we use documents that have multiple artboards. After we do ouer work, we save and close the file. When we go to reopen the file, all but the first artboard have disappeared. Looking in the Artboard panel, the original artboard counts up after every save.
    For example, say I were to create a new file and add a couple artboards. After saving, closing, and reopening the file, the additional artboards would be gone, the artwork on those boards would still be there, and the original artboard would be labeled as "Artboard 2". If I were to add the missing artboards again, the same issue would occur and reopening the file would have the first artboards labeled now as "Artboard 3".
    I am using Illustrator CS6 and saving the files as an .ai with the default settings.

    Are you saving locally? Over a network? Mac or PC?

    so after an forced unfortunate archive and install, my third party AU have disappeared from DP and Logic. they run fine in standalone. how can i get them back into logic?

    Move them back from your old archive, or reinstall.
    When you do an archive and install, your old system gets removed and a new fresh system put in place. If you had plugins in the system components directories, obviously they aren't gonna be there on a new fresh system.

  • Outlook 2011 Mac local subfolders are disappearing after "send and receive"

    After working for long time without a issue, Outlook 2011 Mac (with all updates) start to show a strange habit:
    Fresh from the start the application shows all local subfolders as usual.
    After a send and receive of all mail suddenly all subfolders are disappearing.
    I have to restart the application to regain access to the subfolders.
    Tried a rebuild of the database and a safe boot with no luck. Any suggestion is appreciated. Thanks!
