5 error while checking job status

Hi,
We are getting the following error when we are trying to check the status of the process chain through FM 'RSPC_API_CHAIN_GET_STATUS':
5 error while checking job status.
The real scenario is we are using an abap screen with a button on it. when the user clicks on the button we call the FM 'BP_EVENT_RAISE' to trigger the process chain. once the chain is triggered we are having an endless loop to monitor the status of the chain with FM 'RSPC_API_CHAIN_GET_STATUS' untill the chain status turns green ie G.
Now while monitoring the status it randomly throws me the above error. it seems to work sometimes and other times it gives the popup with the said error.
Can anybody help why we get the error.

I was trying to install the database using dbca after setting up the grid and database software on LINUX x86-64 RHEL 5.7 machine. The database software version is 11.2.0.3. It throwing the error regarding the connectivity of clusterware. So I checked the status of clusterware.

I see in the above log that saying ASM instance is down and failed to open +DATA .
But the asm instance up and running
SQL> select instance_name,status from v$instance;

And we havent created any disk named DATA before the installation. We have created only below two disks
SQL> select name,header_status from v$asm_disk;
NAME HEADER_STATUS
ASM_DATA MEMBER
FLASH_RECOVERY MEMBER
But I am seeing a diskgroup in the v$asm_diskgroup which we havent created.
SQL> select name,state from v$asm_diskgroup;

Ya this is a second time installtion. In the first installtion we created the asmdisk as DATA. But later everything (RAW device ) was formatted and this new disks has been created and installtion again started
[root@SFV9699 bin]# oracleasm listdisks
ASM_DATA
FLASH_RECOVERY
Seems like its trying to read the old disk DATA.
we have done asmscanning too with oracleasm scan disks. but no use.
Where I can remove the old entry of DATA disk.
It would be a great if a quick response get.

The permission looks fine. If it was permission issue then y it is trying to read the DATA disk which I havent created this time at all ( But created in the first installation).

In some case if you disabled the connection in Windows firewall inbound of
"Cluster aware updating" service it will can’t use the CAU.

Please revisit your DMS configuration. May be something is missing out in the configuration.
Additionally you can retry to chekin by changing the following parameter
security = 0.

Delete the cube indexes from Performance Tab of the Manage of the cube manually and check again.

I am trying to run Function module BAPI_DOCUMENT_CHECKIN2, which is returning with the error message E 26 253 Error while check in and storing: D:\ XXX (Path) \XXX (file name). I have entered the following required input.

Surprisingly I can check in the document in the transaction(CV01/02), it is not giving any error message.
I have tried using the other Function module, BAPI_DOCUMENT_CREATE2. I can create the document, but when I try to Check-In it gives me a error message.
I have checked the RFC connection and it is working fine. There is no authorisation issue involved as well.
I hope I have explained myself clearly.

I am getting following error while Checking in activity from open activities .currently we are using NWDS7.3
CHECKIN      Finished24s.9Files scuceeded.
ACTIVATE     Activation Performed.Build request ID : 166
          Internal Problem(Activity report failed(Communication error
[cause: Unalble to open connection to host<host>:<port>][reason:Address already in use : connect]]))
Check-in completed successfully but Activation is not completed and giving connectivity error described above. Again
I activated activity from Activation view. Still I am getting following error description.Plesae provide me solution
to resolve this issue.

Just check the full hostname of your DTR server, should be like
hostname.company.com
and check if somewhere only
hostname
is being used.and both are getting successfully pinged. DO not try the NWDS ping. Use command prompt and
ping hostname
and
ping hostname.company.com
Also this happens due to some clash with some other developer. Please check after some time, may be after a desktop restart. things should start working.

I tried doing setting with VKOA and checked with
VF02, Environment-Account determination analysis.
--> it says account determination is found.
Then i clicked the Flag button(Release to accounting) in VF02.
It gives below error in status bar
<b>"only output tax is allowed for account 175000 JTC1, E0 is not allowed"</b>
How to go ahead or solve this error.

I am using oracle UCM 11g. When i am checking in a document, i am getting error as "Unable to execute service CHECKIN_NEW_SUB and function validateCheckinData."
In stacktrace found this is caused by:
"Unable to find query or idc data source with 'DdeletedRows'. "
How to resolve this?

Hi Guru's
There are some documents which are stored in our legacy system.We are trying to transfer documents from legacy to ECC6.0 through java connector.
In java program we have done the coding by calling the function module BAPI_DOCUMENT_CREATE2.When we run the java program we are getting the error as Error while checking in and storing although we have defined the storage category
While if we run the same java program by defining the storage category as SAP-System, documents are getting uploaded in 4.6 system and we are unable to find out the Storage category SAP-SYSTEM in 4.6 system
Kindly let me know how to resolve this issue or is there any way to transfer documents from legacy to ECC 6.0

Is it error No 26253 correct me if I am wrong.
If this is the error the check with basis administrator. Log space must be full or content server must be down due to some reasons.

I hace install the content server and i made content repository also.
everything I made on development server, and the original application file is getting check in also.
now when I tried to check in it in test sever, it giving me error like Error while checking in and storing: C:\Documents and setting
I transported all request like content repository and all to test server from development server.

Check this also in development
In your local machine Goto
C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc
There will be file called "hosts"
in that file plz specify the IP of the content server.
Eg;
<IP address> <Content server name>
102.210.23.186 My Content server
Save the file.
Restart the machine and then try check-in the file in content server.

Hi Karthik,
There may be several factors contributing to this error.Some of these maybe:
-Storage category defined improperly/missing
-HTTP/FTP destination missing
-Incomplete Workstation application definition
-Incomplete Authorization
Please run through/search for each of these issues (discussed several times in the forum) and adopt corrective action wherever necessary.
