  • 500 Internal Server Error - Channel Monitoring Audit Log

    Hi Experts,
We are facing an error in the 'Audit Log' of the communication channel monitoring of a File Sender Adapter.
The channel uses a custom written Java Module which uses XSLT parser internally. The audit log displays the following error:
    500   Internal Server Error
Error: "Application error occurred during the request processing."
    Troubleshooting Guide https://sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/wiki?path=/display/jsts/home
Details: "The WebApplicationException log ID is [4698F300D2C40C2000000000000009AA]."
This error occurs both when the file is processed successfully or when in error. In case of a positive test case file, we can even see the message reaching Pipeline (SXMB_MONI). But only the audit log does not show the processed steps in the channel monitoring and displays the above error message.
We have even established that the cause of the error is Java Module (First, we executed by removing our custom Java Module from the module steps and the audit log showed the steps correctly. But by putting the module back in the channel, the error resumed).
Initially, the error was not coming and we were able to test this properly. But over the time the audit log error started. Now, we are not able to get rid of this even by restarting the channel or restarting the Java stack of the server.
To me, it seems like a memory issue in the Java Stack.
    Any thoughts?
Can we find out where to find the details of the WebApplicationException log ID displayed above?
    Thanks,
    Sudheer

  • 500 Internal server error on Export to Excel

    Hello All,
I have implemented Export to Excel using this tutorial:
    http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/Snippets/WebDynproJava-ExportingTableDataUsingOn-DemandStreams-SAPNW+7.0
However, after deploying the application, it simply throws 500 internal server error. I have followed each step carefully but I guess something is missing or I am doing it wrongly. How should I go about resovling this issue? I have been trying to fix this since yesterday and yet no success.
As it is failing right after the deployment that means doInit() method of my view is not able to execute the method mentioned below:
    wdThis.wdGetExportExcelCompInterface().initialize(wdContext.nodeVn_OutputTable(), getColumnInfos());
I have defined getColumnInfos() method in the view but not sure why it is failing? Any thoughts on this? Has anyone implemented this? If not, please direct me to some simple export to excel code snippet or document. I have been struggling to implement simple Export to Excel on table. (I am not using RFC. The data is coming from KM APIs)

    Dear Ameya,
For Comunication between DC's, you should use the other DC's as Used Webdypro Component. If you are using with different scenario with webdynpro reference, then please have a look at below document might help to resolve your issue.

  • Facing Problem in SLD(getting 500 INTERNAL SERVER ERROR IN PORTAL)

    Dear All,
we had ESS application just few days back it went to Go live , very frequently we are facing the issue
Regards JCO 's , we are getting "500 Internal Server Error" in production Portal
After getting the error ,the " Maintained JCO's" and "Created JCO'S " are both are disabled
    uder contenten administraton->webdynpro.
But the SDL is in active , we can able to open SLD url every thing is also fine
Technical system and every thing coming fine
we checked SLD User also in SLD User Administration , the SLD user is also there it is not unlocked
The problem is : if the problem is happend after restarting the server again it is coming properly
Again after some time it is getting same error ,whith out doing any thing also some times the problem is resolving automatically
we are not getting Root cause of this behaviour
In our client side SLD is centralized ,they are not maintain locally
If the SLD is Proble , the error has to come in Quality and Production also why bcz it is centralized

  • 500 Internal server error - java.lang.NullPointerException: null

While trying to access the initial login screen of EP, we face this '500 Internal server error - java.lang.NullPointerException: null' issue very randomly. It appears sometimes and when opened from new browser we get the login screen sometimes. It is not a problem that reproduces always. On the screen where the error appears, we refresh any number of times, no help, the error remains the same, but when we open in a new window, it might give the login screen or end up with this error.
We have 4 Dialog Instances and a Cisco load balancer.

Kindly advise as to what could be the issue..

Hi,  either the problem should come always for us to be able to trouble shoot it or should not come at all.
Now since it comes sometimes, i feel that you surely are using more than one app. servers in  your enviroment and some of them are not fine.
I received this error when i accidently had deleted my sso ticket pairs in the visual admin.
First troubleshoot by login to individual app servers where the issue is coming. after that check the certificate-cert key pair in keystore admin. you can also delete them and make new ticket pairs..
If this does not help, replace your login page with the standard sap login page par  com.sap.portal.runtime.logon.par.
    This should certainly troubleshoot u

  • 500 Internal Server Error & cfhttp

    Hello,
I'm validating URLs using the following:
    <cfhttp url = "#form.ext_url#" resolveurl = 1 throwonerror
    = "No"></cfhttp>
#cfhttp.statuscode# shows a 500 Internal Server Error. The
URL that I'm validating exists and is valid. Why is this error
coming up? We're using CF MX 7 on our server.
    Thanks!

I figured out the problem. The URL was valid in IE but was
throwing an error in Mozilla. So the CF validation was working as
    it should.

  • Parameter Screen not opening - '500 Internal Server Error'

    Hi All,
I have developed a Discoverer Report which runs based on certian parameters.
When i run the report in Discoverer Viewer at my end the parameter screen opens fine with no errors, but when the customer clicks on the flashlight then instead of the parameter screen getting displayed there is some java error displayed which says '500 Internal Server Error'.
Can anyone please tell me why is this error coming at the customer's end and what could be the root cause for this.
    Regards,
    Shruti

    Hi Shruti
Can you tell me the URL you are using to launch Discoverer?
Discoverer typically likes to call its pages using a fully qualified domain name like: http://myserver.mydomain.com:port/discoverer/plus
If you are not launching it this way and are using just a server name or an IP address then the initial pages will work but later the server will try to call a fully qualified page from a non-qualified page. This can cause a 500 Internal Server Error.
So, please make sure you are launching Discoverer correctly.
    Best wishes
    Michael

  • Customization of 500 internal server error

    Hi,
I have a requirement for customizing the 500 Internal server error page ( the page when we gets Null pointer Expetion or etc).
Can you tell me how can we achieve this.. Note that we need to do this for webdynpro Java errors.
    Thanks,
    Raju Bonagiri

    Dear Raju,
I regret to inform you that this is not possible on 640/700. In general, this solution is available only for Business By Design, and most likely it'll be available only later for 7.30, but no plans are available currently. Perhaps it'll be downported to 7.20 but I cannot state this as an official statement either.
Officially this feature is not yet supported.
Default HTTP messages can be changed, but not the ones coming from the WD Runtime.
See the note for HTTP messages: Note: #795699 - Customizing default error messages for HTTP (from BC-JAS-WEB)
On WD Runtime you can switch off displaying the complete stack trace, but one cannot change it, see:
Note: #962319 - Detailed error messages with stack trace in Web Dynpro

  • Error 500--Internal Server Error while opening a taskflow  in inline popup

    Hi,
I am getting "Error 500--Internal Server Error" while opening a bounded taskflow as a popup from another bounded taskflow containing page fragments. The popup taskflow contains jspx pages. I even removed the jspx pages from the popup taskflow to check if the error is resulting from the bindings on the pages but still I get the same error. Hi Frank,
Thanks for the reply. I am using it as an inline popup. I am trying to create command links dynamically in an iterator. When a link is clicked a popup window opens. The text of the link is passed to the popup window by creating a variable in the session scope ( I even tried request scope) by an action listener in the backing bean.
I tried to create another simple application with a static command button which passes its text to popup window through a session scope variable. It worked fine. I am not sure why the same procedure is not working in my original application. Can you give me a hint what could possibly go wrong according the exception stack trace ?
    Thanks,
    KK
