50Hz net synchronization

Good day.
I'm would like to use NI DAQ 6602 for timing system. The frequency will be changed (not on fly) from ~1-10Hz(most probably integer numbers). I have to synchronize 6602 board with external pulse 50Hz. This external signal will be coming based on the power net and in fact will have jumping frequency ~45-55 or so. I see as one of the solutions the following: If one have 3Hz for output is to start retriggerable FinitePulseTrain with 3 pulses, and then retrigger it on each 50th external pulse.(In fact such kind of synchronization (one time per second) will be enough for my purposes). But I have realized that FinitePulseTrain signal finish after the full "High" and full "Low" part of the signal will be done. That means if 50'th pulse comes before FinitePulseTrain finished -- wait another second (another 50Pulses). I tried to use pause trigger, but it doesn't much because it's remember the phase of signal. I don't know solution so far and it would be nice if someone could give me a hand. I'm using VisualBasic. But if there is no solution for it, I could try other tools C++, VI...

i think on a software based solution, one counter for measure the 50 Hz and one for generate the pulse.
I couldn´t not test it because i have no hardware at the moment.

Hey All,
I want to create a Windows Forms Application in VB Dotnet and use it to monitor a power supply. When a current range is exceeded a message will be sent to an asynchronous TestStand thread that will halt the program. What methods of communication exist between TS and the Dotnet framework?
I know of better ways to do this in TS, but the designers of this application insist on this. I am totally clueless on this subject and will definitely appreciate any help that is offered. I have experience in VB , TS and understand using assemblies/classes, but don't know how to pass information to an application with a UI.

If you want it to be independent of teststand that you could use .NET synchronization primitives, if you can use teststand in both then you could use the teststand synchronization manager and synchronization step types.

After Windows 8.1 released, users may encounter the issues about syncing files in SkyDrive. There are the error messages you may find:
Error 0xS00705B4: This operation returned because the timeout period expired
Sorry, the action couldn't be completed because the file hasn't finished uploading. Try again later
Error 80070490: element is not found.
Many SkyDrive folders in library like SkyDrive [1], SkyDrive [2] …
We just would like to point out some possible causes of this issue and give you some suggestions to troubleshoot it.
Cause:
Location was messed up during upgrade.
Pending uploading or downloading task blocked in synchronization.
SkyDrive was hang.
GPO blocked the syncing behavior
The user profile folder was relocated after upgrading.
How to fix:
Suggestions 1: Checking the consistence of locations on both registry key and SkyDrive properties:
Right click SkyDrive -> Properties -> Location tab
Open regedit.exe, locate to the following key and check the location.
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\SkyDrive
Suggestion 2: For many SkyDrive
folders:
Check which one can be explored properly with right files and relocate the SkyDrive folder via changing the settings in
suggestion 1.
Or create a new folder for relocating SkyDrive’s.
Suggestion 3: End the Skydrive.exe process and restart in command or disconnect and reconnect your MS account in SkyDrive to clear the pending task:
Press Win+R to open run, and type following commands one by one:
%windir%\system32\skydrive.exe /shutdown
%windir%\system32\skydrive.exe
Log off your MS account in SkyDrive and log in again to check the issue.
Suggestion 4: Check the GPO settings in both gpedit.msc and regedit.exe:
In GPO: If User Configuration –> Administrative Templates
–> Desktop -> Prohibit User from manually redirecting Profile Folders
is enabled, please disable it. Don’t forget to force update the policy changes: run command
gpupdate /force as admin.
In regedit: if DisablePersonalDirChange is set to 1 under
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer, please change it to 0 and start the SkyDrive to check the results.
At the end, we can’t assure that these suggestions can fix all such
issues. If you need further help, it’s ok to feedback here or submit a new thread with the
SkyDrive.exe.err.**.log under C:\Users\[Your name]\AppData\Local\Microsoft\SkyDrive\logs
uploaded for research.

Outlook not showing up in Synchronization Configuration

I am a new user of Blackberry Desktop Software. Over the past 2 years, I have been syncing my Blackberry with my Outlook through our company's Enterprise Exchange server wirelessly. Now that I have left the company, I am trying to use and configure the Blackberry Desktop Software on my own.
I downloaded and installed Desktop Software v4.6. I am on Windows Vista and am using MS Outlook 2007 installed. My phone is a Blackberry 7130.
My problem is that when I try to configure Synchronization, MS Outlook 2007 does NOT show up as an option. The only options I see are (1) Yahoo! and (2) Ascii Importer/Exporter. This is true whether I am setting up synchronization for my Calendar, Tasks, MemoPad or Address Book.
How do I configure the software so that I can sync my phone with Outlook? Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

It sounds like the IT Policy from the BES you were connected to, restricts it from syncing with any other outlook user etc..
try wiping the device and or calling ur prev emp and getting them to send a blank IT policy to the device, but that would mean u would have to connect to their BES again which they prob wouldn't like.
There is info on the net on how to remove the IT policy but I am not authorised to give out such info..

FIM EVENT ID 3 when starting User Profile Synchronization service

I am having issues getting the USP Sync Service to start correctly in our 2013 Farm.
We are using a named instance for this install and from what I have read, it looks like that is the issue.
In the ULS I find this error "ERROR ILMPostSetupConfiguration: ILM Configuration: Validating installation of SQL Service FAILED ."
The event log shows this error:

The server was set up with a sql alias and we also added an alias for the server itself. Based on the below links, I did verify that the SQLInstance is empty in the registry.
I am at a loss on what to try next to get this working. As a side note, I just noticed the dev farm we have (which I didn't set up) does not have the UPS configured. I have seen references that state the only FIM 2010 SP1 works with SharePoint
2013 and am currently investigating updating the version on our server to SP1.

AIA 2.0.1 O2B Order synchronization fails after the SOA Upgrade to 10.1.3.4

Hi,
I have the AIA 2.0.1 installed on the system with the Order to Bill PIP flow working fine until I upgraded the SOA Suite from 10.1.3.3 to 10.1.3.4.
After the SOA upgrade the order synchronization from CRM(8.1.1) to BRM(7.3) fails with the error message
"exception on JaxRpc invoke: HTTP transport error: java.net.MalformedURLException: no protocol: eis/BRM"
I have checked the Application Server for the availability of BRM Adapter.
The BRM Adapter is available and properly configured. The JNDI Location for the BRM Adpater is eis/BRM itself.
Can anyone please help resolve this issue.

Don't upgrade your Leopard clients. While running Xsan 1.4.2 on G5 Xserves running 10.4.11 works, it is preferred to keep your server running a newer OS than the clients. Again, Mac OS X 10.5.2 does work with Xsan 1.4.2 and MDCs running 10.4.11 but who knows if an upgrade will break this? Alternatively you could buy a couple seats of Xsan 2 and change your controllers to be newer intel Macs (Mac Pro or Xserve).

Seen in Logic Pro 9.1.7 on Mac OS X Lion 10.7.4
and Logic Pro 9.0.0 on Mac OS X Snow Leopard 10.6.5
Logic Pro:
System Overload.
The audio engine was not able to process all required data in time.
(-10011)
Error while trying to synchronize Audio and MIDI.
Sample Rate xxxxx recognized.
Check conflict between Logic Pro and external device.
The search in the help given as follows: overload occurs when you use a lot of tracks and a lot of effects on them, and the synchronization is lost when the selected MIDI track for recording or playback. Yes, this is all that is written in the resources. And here are useful tips that have been found:
The Bounce function allows the entire instrument track to be recorded as an audio file. This bounced audio file can then be used (as an audio region) on a standard audio track, allowing you to reassign the available processing power for further software instrument tracks. For more details, see "Bouncing Your Project."
You can also make use of the Freeze function to capture the output of a software instrument track, again saving processing power. For details, see "Freezing Tracks in the Arrange Area."
These tips - about the timing. About overload - there are no tips, except as "reducing the number of plug-ins" and "increasing latency". Zero useful tips - I got two errors in the test project with a blank audio track with no effects, MIDI drums and standard synthesizer, it was no aux buses, and the entire project was only a single plugin in the master track.

Yes, it worked for me on four different OS and Logic versions (10.6 - 10.8 and 9.0 - 9.1.6)
It does not work in some cases, hard enough to tell in which one, but you can try, it very easy: go to the net settings and create new Ethernet connection to the ip address 1.0.0.0 and connect LAN cable to the port.
Also you can try to figure out what happens in your system while Logic error occured - fot that you just start Console and search "logicpro"
Pay attention to repetitive events in a console and events with suitable timing, not so far from error
The problem may be related to the GUI or system memory, sometimes turning off Safari (or Chrome, others browsers) might help.

Can't log into Sun DS 5.2 Console after installing Identity Synchronization

Installing the Identity Synchronization module over the directory server prevents me from logging into the server using the console.
I installed Sun Java System Directory Server 5.2 on a Windows 2000 server. After that, I installed the following in the order below:
1. Patch 5077789 Patch 2
2. Patch 117667-03
3. Sun Java System Message Queue 3.5 SP1.
Upto this point, I was able to log into the DS server without any problems. I was also able to access and use the MQ.
After this, I installed the Sun Java System Identity Synchronization module.
Now I am unable to log into the DS console. The error I get is "Cannot logon because of an incorrect User ID, Incorrect password or Directory problem.
java.net.SocketException: Connection reset"
Any ideas what the problem might be? I've tried uninstalling, cleaning up and reinstalling everything, but to no avail.

Look at the logs/error under admin-serv directory for more clue
Make sure hostname.ldapdomainname (eg: ldap1.example.com) for LDAP server is set in Windows hosts file as 1st field.
cd to slapd-hostname and run
.\saveconfig
Notepad the ldif file generated, search for userPassword for cn=admin-serv-hostname, AND CHECK IF there is passwordExpirationTime set, if there it could mean userPassword of admin-serv-hostname expired, if so you may follow a recent thread to set it to never expire.

I have to do some research about: what is the best way to set up my project, I am new to Azure.
Situation:
I need to develop a service(s) and client app(s) that are able to synchronize data with each other: files and database changes. the client app(s) must have the capability to work online / offline, offline: when there is no internet connection
the data has to be stored local on the client device(s) and sync it later when there is active internet connection.
Client Devices:
Windows 8.1 (Windows 8.1 PC/Desktop)
Windows 8.1 RT (Windows 8.1 Surface tablet)
Windows Phone 8.1 (Windows 8.1 Smart-phone)
We prefer to create the clients as a C# Store App Application.
Service:
This might become , if technically possible and preferable, a Azure service who main task it is to manage the communication between the server and the clients

Base on my experience, if you wan to synchronize data with each clients. I suggest you could refer to this solution:
1.Create a Sql Azure Database or storage account for storing your data
2.Create a WCF service (web role or work role ) for communication between Client and Database
3.Set Up Table Structure (Important). I suggest you could add the deviceID and userID to distinguish the different data source. And add fields such as 'status', 'create time', 'latest update time' and so on.
For example, you client insert a record into local database and set the 'status' as ‘stay update’ or '1'. When your client connect the database and synchronize the data to server, you could set the 'status' as 'updating' or '2' . After
synchronization data, you could change the status as 'updated' or '3'.
According to this idea, the client CRUD -> change the local state code
-> Sync data -> change the local state code ->
synchronization is complete -> change the local state code .If the mobile device need operate the data on the service , it also need to change the server status code to be updated, to be deleted (deleted should
be treated differently), the next time the client login server automatically checks the "state" as "pending action" and then synchronize the server to the client. So whether it is operating on a local table, or on the side of the direct
operation of the service, you can ensure that the data is synchronized two tables.

From your question, I think you could create a WCF service host on azure, and call WCF service form different devices. And this method is supported the different device and win8.1 store app.

Can't execute net use with CF9

On our win 2003 dev server we cfexecute a batch file which in turn calls another batch file, CONNECT.COM which temporarily connects to each of our production servers so that we can copy new files over to production using BeyondCompare. This has been working fine for years.
CONNECT.COM is like this but of course encrypted:
REM %1 is drive letter, e.g. X: $2 is sharename, e.g. "\\dw1\dw"
net use %1 %2 {synchuser password here} /USER:domainname\synchuser /persistent:no
We recently upgraded from CF7 to CF9 and at the same time switched to using a non-administrative account to run CF under. Now our synchronization script won't complete, i.e. it runs the batch file to the point where CONNECT.COM is called then times out while trying to make the connection.
We also run this script as a CF scheduled task and have the same problem so we tried running the task using an admin username/password.. That didn't help.
I'm an administrator and can run the batch file with no problem. I can also run it using a windows scheduled task running under the admin uesrname/password we tried with the CF scheduled task. It just seems that ColdFusion can no longer execute the NET USE command.
Any ideas?

It sounds like the account used to start the ColdFusion service does not have the rights it needs on the servers in question. Either change the account that the CF service runs under, or give the CF account the necessary priviledges to the files in question.

To be specific, we have an application(.Net) which uses SAP as backend and retrieves the data from SAP using RFC and BAPI's. Well everything works fine with SAP R/3(where using the connection string and SAPConnector we could establish connection and call the RFC/BAPI).
When it comes to SAP ECC we have no idea about the connection string or how to connect using SAPConnector. I knew that ECC uses a secured connection so i want to know how to connect to SAP ECC using .Net Connnector.
For the SSL could you tell me how exactly can we apply that to the above described situation?

since a longer time I try to synchronize a Oracle Database Lite with Oracle 11 g over Mobile Server. But I still hadn't any success. I wanna use C# 3.5 and ADO.NET. Oracle Lite documentation is very bad, did not helped me. I cannot understand how to design a mobile sync application. Is it neccessary to use Mobile Database Workbench and Packaging Wizzard and to publish my mobile application to Mobile Server? Is too complex, I don't need/want this. All I wanna do is to use offline Oracle Lite Database on my PDA and synchronize the data during ActiveSync-connection with a Oracle 11 g data base. I tried also OracleSync classe and OracleEngine.Synchronize() and BGSyncControl, but nothing worked. I talked to our oracle support but they only send me links to tuorials sites I already read. I'm very unhappy about synchronization in Oracle Lite.
Has anyone successfully done synchronization with Oracle Lite and Oracle 11 g on a mobile device and can give me some hints or sample code? Or is there any mobile database which is better for synchronization?

When attempting to synchronize Oracle Lite with the Windows Mobile emulator, ActiveSync is not able to establish a connection with the emulator device after the emulator device is set to emulate being cradled with the Device Emulator Manager.
Cause
The SERDMAAsPlugin.dll is not registered on the host system.
Solution
1. Open a Command Prompt.
Start, Run, cmd
2. Navigate to the C:\Program Files\Microsoft Device Emulator\1.0\ directory.
3. Register the SERDMAAsPlugin.dll.
regsvr32 SERDMAAsPlugin.dll
4. Reset the emulator device.
5. Open Microsoft ActiveSync.
6. Select File, Connection Settings.
7. Ensure that "Allow connections to one of the following" is checked and that the DMA connection type is listed within the drop down box.

Any way to stop Data Synchronizer from syncing every folder?

SLES 11 64 bit for VMware.
Groupwise connector 1.0.3.512
Mobility connector 1.0.3.1689
I have "folders" unchecked every place you can uncheck them.
Still the Groupwise connector insists on syncing every single folder in a user's cabinet and contacts (even the ones that are unselected in the Groupwise connector->user edit section).
I do *not* mean that it force syncs these folders to the device, just that it syncs them into the "folder list" section that you can monitor from Mobility Connector->Monitor->Click on user name.
Most of our users have dozens of folders, and all the scrolling makes it kind of a pain to monitor the folder (ONE) and address books (usually 1-2) that they are syncing. Also, it seems like adding a ton of unneeded work to the system, and it eats up a pretty good chunk of CPU.

If you are talking about the Folder checkboxes in the GroupWise connector, these
do not current pertain to Mobility. Remember that Mobility is part of a larger
"Data Synchronizer" product, with connectors to other components like SugarCRM,
Teaming, etc. So, some of the GroupWise connector settings show for all types
of connectors, but do not always apply to each connector.

9300 synchronization of multiple contact databases...

I currently use multiple Contact databases on my 9300, such as "professional" and "personal" databases. The default one is systematically synchronized through the PC Suite into my outlook/contact database, but I know how to synchronize the other and make it go to outlook/contact2 database. Any hint would be welcome. Thanks

According to your description, you want to use SQL Server replication to sync the SQL Server Express database and LocalDB database. From the comparison of SQL Server Express and LocalDB, LocalDB is the full SQL Server Express engine, but invoked directly
from the client provider. It not support subscriber for merge replication. However, you need to sync database in both directions. Only merge replication can merges incremental data changes that occurred at the Publisher or Subscribers after the initial snapshot
was created, and detects and resolves any conflicts according to rules you configure.
So personally, I recommend you use synchronize among SQL Server Express , LocalDB databases by using Microsoft Sync Framework.
Sync Framework includes classes that can be adapted to synchronize between a SQL Server database and any other database that is compatible with ADO.NET. For detailed documentation of the Sync Framework database synchronization components, see
