Outlook not showing up in Synchronization Configuration

I am a new user of Blackberry Desktop Software.  Over the past 2 years, I have been syncing my Blackberry with my Outlook through our company's Enterprise Exchange server wirelessly.  Now that I have left the company, I am trying to use and configure the Blackberry Desktop Software on my own.
I downloaded and installed Desktop Software v4.6.  I am on Windows Vista and am using MS Outlook 2007 installed.  My phone is a Blackberry 7130.
My problem is that when I try to configure Synchronization, MS Outlook 2007 does NOT show up as an option.  The only options I see are (1) Yahoo! and (2) Ascii Importer/Exporter. This is true whether I am setting up synchronization for my Calendar, Tasks, MemoPad or Address Book.
How do I configure the software so that I can sync my phone with Outlook?  Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

It sounds like the IT Policy from the BES you were connected to, restricts it from syncing with any other outlook user etc..
try wiping the device and or calling ur prev emp and getting them to send a blank IT policy to the device, but that would mean u would have to connect to their BES again which they prob wouldn't like.
There is info on the net on how to remove the IT policy but I am not authorised to give out such info..

    Sounds like a driver issue. I never tested in bridge, so I could be wrong. But it sounds to me that when you are connected to that screen, your settings are not set to the full resolution of that screen.

  • Third party Certificate not showing up in SQL configuration manager drop down box

    I have an SQL instance that needs to use a third party SSL certificate for all communications to that SQL instance. I have installed my third party certificate via MMC and it is showing under the Personal Folder.
    However, when i go into the SQL configuration manager and right click the instance name > Properties > Certificates, it is not showing in the drop down box.
    I am currently using MS SQL Server 2008 R2, which is installed on Windows Server 2012.

    If the certificate cannot be used for SQL Server and hence will not be visible in SQL Configuration manager. Check the validity of the installed certificate. It may not has the correct DNS name.
    I suggest you request a new third party certificate from the vendor with the correct DNS name. Install it on SQL Server environment, then you should see certificate form the configuration manager dropdown box.

  • Outlook not an option during synchroniz​ation

    I am just setting up my new blackberry - I loaded the software and am trying to synchronize. When I click on contacts or calender or tasks I dont have an option of Outlook. Under contacts I have outlook express, but I am using outlook not outlook express. When My husband did it on his machine it worked fine he had the option in the list of outlook or outlook express. I dont have either? What do I do, I have been trying everything for 2 hours now!!!!

  • Add table list does not show database view in Configuration Manager

    Hi,
    I am trying to add a database view in the table tab of the configuration manager. The view does not show up in the list of available tables in WCM 11.1.1.6 version. This is possible in the 11.1.1.4 version. Anyone else facing this issue?

    I think what is being asked is "How do I expose a database view as a schema table in Configuration Manager?"
    This is accomplished by creating a database view within the WCC database schema (and with the WCC schema user as the view owner). The view then will appear as a table in the "table" tab in Configuration Manager.
    One caveat in 11g is that the user created by RCU does not have any privileges to read/create views in its own schema. You may need to grant privileges to views for the WCC schema user before this will work.

    I recently activated my Blackberry Curve 8520 with my BlackBerry Entreprise Server which is synced with Ms Exchange server 2010, the problem is that on my Curve i can only see emails sent to my Inbox but any emails under my Exchange Mailbox subfolders are not being displayed on my Curve although the actual subfolder are shown on my Curve but inside them there is always empty, Please assist

  • Outlook not showing "Reply" and "Reply all"

    I have a user with a Surface and Outlook 2013 RT. He can receive and forward mails, but he can't "reply" or "reply all". The buttons are not showing in any menu or also right click over the message.
    I tested this user on the webmail and works fine, and with Outlook 2013 in a computer too.
    Any suggestions?

    Does this issue happen to all emails or a certain one?
    I heard some user report that the Reply and Forward buttons sometimes disappear until Outlook is restarted. Have you tried restarting?
    In addition, please also try to switch between the Mouse/Touch mode to test the issue again.

  • Chat history displayed correctly in Outlook, not showing in Lync 2013 client

    Morning all,
    It seems like I have an un-searchable issue with many hits returning that conversation history flat out doesn't work, which isn't the situation here...
    The backend consists of Exchange 2007 with Lync server 2013. Clients (a mix of Lync 2010 and 2013, XP and 7 respectively) have no issues connecting and the chat history works fine from Outlook, however, on the client, conversation history is not displayed
    and we are just given the option to "View more in Outlook..." (Which again works fine).
    Is the chat history not meant to be displayed within the Lync client or are there any options or boxes that I have left unchecked that could cause this issue?
    I've checked any addons on Outlook that sound as though they might be in any way affiliated with Lync and ensured they're ticked to no avail.
    I'll be happy to follow up with any further information if my explanation is a bit cloudy.

    The Lync client will attempt to connect to Exchange Web Services in order to display items like Conversation History and Visual Voicemail.  If it cannot connect to EWS, it will fall back to a MAPI connection via the Outlook client.  The MAPI connection
    will allow chats to be deposited in the Conversation History folder and display presence information within Outlook and a few others, but the EWS connection provides a richer experience. 
    You can check how it is connecting by holding CTRL + right click on Lync system tray icon.  Then select Configuration Information.  You should see items for EWS internal/external URL, MAPI Information, and EWS Information.
    Unlike Outlook, Lync does not use the Autodiscover SCP to locate EWS.  Lync relies on the Exchange Autodiscover DNS A record to be setup both internally and externally.  Assuming Autodiscover and EWS are working properly, the following are required
    in order for Lync to connect to EWS successfully:
    - User's SIP URI and Primary SMTP address should match
    - Autodiscover.sipdomain.com DNS A record setup internally and externally for each SIP domain supported
    - EWS Internal/External URLS accurately configured on Exchange
    Let us know what you find.

    For the part of the documentation where you establish what the process server is in the CX agent settings. I went to do that setting, but the Process Server never shows up. I have given it a few days and it still doesn't fill in the box.

    This happens when process server is not registered with CS server.  please check below:
    On the Process Server, open
    c:\home\svsystems\etc\AMETHYST.CONF. Search for 'PS_CS_IP' and port.
    please validate above information is correct and PS_CS_IP should be public ip address of CS in Azure and same case for port (it should be public address of CS in Azure). In some cases your public address will change for CS in azure if you shutdown and start 
    the VM. This is due to no reserved IP address configured for this VM.
    if that is the case, you will have to follow below steps to reset the things:
    #1 Reconfigure Source Machine and MT to point to CS
    on the Source Machines and Master Target (in your Azure subscription) you can change it from HOSTCONFIGWXCOMMON.EXE found under <program files>\InMage Systems
    #2 Reconfigure PS to point to CS
    on the Process Server, open c:\home\svsystems\etc\AMETHYST.CONF. Search for 'PS_CS_IP' and change the IP address to point to your new public CS IP address.
    After making changes to your AMETHYST.CONF you need to restart TMANSVC service (go to RUN > services.msc > scroll down to tmansvc & restart it.)
    #3 Reconfigure CS with MA Portal
    Unregister CS from MA from
    From CS Portal > menu Settings > Rx Settings > click ‘Unregister RX’
     Run post deployment script on CS with new public IP as described in HELP, under the section ‘Installation and Configuration’ > ‘Create and Install components’ > ‘Install CS on Windows’ > ‘Run Postdeployconfig script’
    Register CS with MA
    From CS Portal > menu Settings > Rx Settings > click ‘Unregister RX’

    I have a UCS Server C200 M2 Rack Mount and planning to install Windows 2008 R2 server in it. To make it High Available, i m configuring RAID 1 in it.
    I can easily configure RAID from BIOS setup and after rebooting it shows me that the RAID 1 is found and Online in status.
    Once I insert the Cisco UCS Server Configuration Utility 2.0 CD and try to check the RAID Configuration, it show me error message "SCU is unable to detect a RAID controller in the server"
    If I move further to install OS then during installation setup gets hang and system reboots.
    I attached the screen shot for review and help.

    And extract w2k8r2_intich10r_13.21.0614.2010.zip for the Intel ICH10R integrated RAID controller.
    Try Browsing to this Driver either from the SCU or during the direct OS reinstall and make sure
    "Hide drivers that are not compatible with hardware on this computer" is unchecked to be able to point to the Driver
    I assume you are seeing the problem as described in the RAID configuration issues in
    http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/unified_computing/ucs/c/ts/guide/TS_2Server.html
    Installing   Windows 2008 64-bit and RAID controller had issues.
    LSI   drivers are not bundled in Windows 2008 64-bit. These must be installed   during the installation process. During the install process, if the hard   drives fail to be detected, use the load driver option to point the drives to   the correct drivers for the LSI controller in the system. The drivers can be   loaded using a USB drive. When loaded, the hard drives are displayed and the   hard drive for the OS can be selected.
    Please let me know how the installation goes.

  • Appointments in Outlook not showing up in CRM activities?

    The appointments I make in Outlook aren´t showing up in my CRM activities (the appointments I make in CRM do show up in Outlook calendar - so it´s only syncing one way)?

    Assuming that you are connected to CRM using outlook client:
    Open the appointment from calender in your outlook. click on Track/Track in CRM depending on the CRM version you are using. This will create an Appointment activity in CRM. but will not link the appointment to a particular CRM record.
    To link this appointment to a particular CRM record (e.g. contact, account, case..etc..) click on Set Regarding and select more. Search for the record in look up dialog box, select and add.

  • Event created for SharePoint Calendar opened in Outlook, not showing in SP

    I have a SharePoint 2013 Enterprise calendar list that I have "open in outlook"
    In Outlook 2013, in the opened SharePoint calendar, I create a few events.   None of them show up in the SharePoint list , they only remain visible in my Outlook Calendar. I had users report this problem to me when we were still using SharePoint
    2007, I had hope this error had been fixed... but I shouldn't be surprised to see that it's still happening.
    How can this be fixed? I have users who are depending upon this SharePoint calendar to be accurate. I have no way of knowing that evetns created in Outlook are failing to show in SharePoint.  Help please

    According to your description, my understanding is that the event made in Outlook don’t sync to SharePoint site’s calendar.
    Please try to use the ScanPST program to repaire the SharePoint PST file, compare the result.

  • WPC installed but not showing up in KM configuration

    We just installed WPC 7.0 SP 14 patch 4 on our portal server.  The installation went well, and I can see the WPC component in system configuration, but I do not see its configuration screens in KM.  For example, when I go to System Administration -> System Configuration -> Knowledge Management -> Content Management, I should see a link to Web Page Composer. That link is not there.
    We never saw this behaviour in our Dev and QA portals when we installed WPC.  The only different between our Dev\QA portals and production is that production is a clustered environement.
    Any ideas on how to troubleshoot this issue?

    You have to assigh a WPC Editor Role to access the WPC. After adding the role you can able to access WPC where you can design and publish web pages.
    Those webpages are automatically saved in KM. You can access these WPC contents in \entrypoint repository.
    Check by doing this. Whther you can do it.

  • Folders from Outlook not showing up in Mail Exchange or IMAP account

    I have a work account that I access from Microsoft Outlook 2003 using Exchange Server 2003. Also I can access it through a webmail application. In both cases, I see my folders. Now, when I set up an Exchange account in Leopard Mail (I also tried POP & IMAP), I can't see the folders in Mac. It sends, it receives, the Inbox is perfectly fine and updated... but no folders.
    I'm not talking about Public folders, just a few I created in Windows. (actually this is not for me, it's for another person. I don't use Windows since 2004 hahaha)

    now I see all the folders. It didn't work in the IMAP account, but it worked when I set up an Exchange account. Apparently (not sure) the problem was that I was using the same server in "Incoming Mails Server" and in "Web Access Server". Checking in the Outlook set up I found two different settings, one for Exchange Server, the other for the Mail Server.
    It works!

  • Panels not showing in CS5 from configurator 2.0

    OK, I didn't have a problem doing this in CS4....
    Installed configurator 2.0 on my new Win 7 64 bit machine.  Built a simple panel, exported it, double checked in extension manager - it's there..
    Went to Photoshop CS5 (64bit) and did the "windows, extensions" thing, but the panel doesn't show there.
    I have been able to download a panel from the exchange and see it in Photoshop, so I know it works.
    Any ideas as to what I'm doing wrong?

    * First, please check folder
    c:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS5 (64 Bit)\Plug-ins\Panels\
    If your panel is installed correctly, It should have a folder name same as your panel name
    * If the folder exists, please check the content subfolder, and see if there's a <PanelName>.swf.
    (Please don't save .GPC file to this folder)
