6506 sup1a-ge2 to sup720 ios (native) config conversion tool

I am migrating from a sup 1a(hybrid mode) to a sup720 and in a class in December I heard that there was a conversion tool for the cat config to the ios config. If this is true - can you please let me know what it is and where can I get it?

Cannot use MAFLogon(iOS native apps) to connect to SMP 3.0 SP05 Server

I have a problem when i try to use MAFLogon to logon/register on my SMP server ( im using iOS native Application). I fill some values, and waiting for login, but it doesnot work.

I suggest you to try with 8080 first. In that case you have to set secured channel off from login screen.

Sup720 IOS Upload/Download problem

Hello,
I'm using Cat6509 with "s72033-psv-mz.122-18.SXD3.bin"
I tried to upload new IOS from my PC to Catalyst and download that IOS from Catalyst to my PC.
In both cases, during the process, it stops with displaying "timed out" message.
When it stops,in upload, the size of the incomplete IOS is 33.5MB
Do you know why this happens?

Another option that is POSSIBLE (but I'm not sure it is recommended) with the newer memory modules (CF) and Sup720 in native mode would be to use a USB flash memory drive to read and write the files to CF. Obviously you'd want to verify this in a non-production switch to make sure the formatting is compatible and the file is readable, but I have been able, on my 6513 with Sup720-3BXL and my USB 7-in-1 drive to read/write the CF after formatting it on the Cisco first and copy new code version to the CF card then insert & verify the bin file.
Please also note the SXD3 is deferred and is not recommended for deployment last I knew and can have a bad bug if you accidentally create a subdirectory on the CF card (while using the above method) where the whole switch will reboot and continue to reboot - SXD4 or SXD5 if it exists is the current recommended in that release train for SXD I think..
It's a documented bug in the bug tool, but doesn't SPECIFICALLY state that a subdirectory will trigger it, only "corrupted flash", which is what the IOS in that version thinks the directory existing really is... SXD4 fixes that bug. OR, even easier, don't create subdirectories on it if you are using a PC to transfer images to the CF! :-)
Either using FTP or a different TFTP server, as Amit and the other poster mentioned, will also work.

Creating ios native extension with 3rd party frameworks

Hello,
I'm new to Air development and creating a ios native extension for my flex mobile project.I want to include third party frameworks such as admob,facebook,chartboost in my ANE
I have tried to link frameworks using packagedDependencies but it dosn't work.(gives me an error telling that "armv7 not supported")
am I doing something wrong? or is there any proper way to link frameworks?

From the catalog Chartboost.framework copy the static library file Chartboost(path: Chartboost.framework/Versions/A/Chartboost) and use it instead of .framework :

The problem is folderOutput.getDirectoryListing() always returns an empty array.

Сertificate exception when building iOS native extension

I have certificates for developer and distribution . I signed AIR apps using those certificates, and all work (I publiched 5 games to AppStore, all OK).
But when I try to compile an iOS native extension, I get:
Unable to build a valid certificate chain for the signer extension.
Can someone help me, please? All my attempts failed to fix it.

How did you compile your ane file? I met same issue before.

Add User for Native PDF Conversion fails on Windows 2008 for WebSphere

I'm installing LiveCycle ES3 Generator on Windows 2008 R2 server with WebSphere 8. When I try to add users for the Native PDF conversion as part of the generator configuration I get an error. Is there any configlab tool for Oracle CC&B package for confifuration management accross different environments. we can use VSS as version management for java codes and cobol codes in CC&B. But i am unable to identify any config lab tool for configuration management.

There is (unfortunately) no silver bullet for your requirement.

Implementations use variations and combinations of the 3 tools that are available, coupled with 3rd party migration tools (like vss). The strategy for an implementation's development-to-production life cycle will vary based on a multitude of factors. Skill set of the IT shop, what tools they are used to, internal audit procedures, etc.

system-config-display command is the replacement. It is provided by system-config-display package

Native Inspect Element tool won't display CSS/elements along right-side of window anymore.

I recently updated to Firefox 20.0 and noticed that the native Inspect Element tool doesn't have an option to display the page css elements along the right-side of the window like it used to.
Is there a button somewhere I'm missing that allows this view?
I also noticed that I cannot hit escape to exit the inspector anymore.
Why would this option have been removed?

OEL 6.3 system-config-network tool

Hi all,
I just do an installation of OEL 6.3 and wonder while the system-config-network tool looks completely new.
Okay there a lot of things missing like editing hostname, domain, dns and so on.
What do I have to do to get it back under OEL 6.3?
I try the other tools system-config-network-tui and system-config-network-cmd but I can't find the functionality.
What do I have to edit and configure manually when the system-config-network doesn't exists?

Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 and hence Oracle Linux 6 do no longer install a Graphical Desktop when doing a default server installation. If you want a Graphical Desktop you can customize the initial installation, or do it afterwards using the following command:

However, keep in mind that you can generally run GUI applications using SSH with X forwarding or Tiger VNC without the need to install X Windows Server on the Linux server or running a Graphical Desktop.
Unfortunately, the GUI version of system-config-network under EL 6 requires the Network Manager service, which you might not want to run on a server platform. Anyway, to use the connection editor GUI, the following should do:

service NetworkManager start
chkconfig NetworkManager on
nm-connection-editor

Alternatively, simply edit the following files to configure your DNS, hostname and hosts file:

Wendering if there is any tips to load specific file configuration(from disk0) to startup during rommon load, we need this to avoid "double" reload
when replacing new RMA SUP720, this will help to load correct config prior IOS loading without need to copy from file to startup config or
erease startup and copy the correct config while IOS already loaded thus, second reload is required.
any tips will be appreicated.

IOS native extension for networkinfo throws an error

Hello,
I'm trying to check wether the active connection on a device is Wifi or mobile data connection. On android this works fine but on iOS there is a problem.
A native extension exists for this see here.
The problem is that the line below throws an error: 'Error #1009: Cannot access a property or method of a null object reference.'

Flash Pro CS6 iOS Native Extension Problem

I am trying out flash pro CS6 new features.
The most important one being ANEs [native extensions].
in flash builder 4.6, when using an ANE for ios, it is sometimes required to put the ios5 SDK location [ -platformsdk in ADT].
This is completely missing in Flash Pro CS6 IDE, any way around that?
