7.0 Crashes in the libmtmalloc.so.1 library

Question

Our java application has multiple components and is running in S1AS70. One of
the component is Trilogy configurtor (a third party product) and is running in a
S1AS70 application seperate from main components. The main component is
communicating to Trilogy configurator server using RMI/IIOP.
The Trilogy configurator is using Trilogy's multi-thread version of configurator
engine. This engine is mostly written in Native code and requires more system
resource for better throughput.
We were running a 3 days load test to measure the cpu and memory usage. We were
using libmtmalloc.so.1 library from patch 111308-04 for solaris 8.
During the load test we observed that the memory never stabilised. There is
memory growth (~5MB) for every 5-10min. The process memory (using top) reached
3.6 GB and the server crashed with outofmemory error. Given below is the details
of the error seen in the appserver log.

Hi Kingsley,
there are a lot of possible causes of such issue. So the fastest way to lokalize the exact reason of the problem would be an OSS support ticket .
You can also check if the python extensions (TREXExtensions.ini, extensions.py) active and if the documents are indexed (probably these failed with 6401 error and the note 650521 could solve the problem).
