997 Error   --1g

We are using Functional Ack Handled by B2B flag in B2B Configuration. Now B2B is successfully generating 997 for 4010 Version customers. But B2B is not able to generate 997 for 4030 and 5010 version customer.
Below is the error message we are getting. We also validated the ECS and XSD file and all looks good.

Can anyone please adivse what I am missing for these Version.
Thanks,

Hi Nitesh,
Thanks for your reply.
This is problem in case of outbound 997 when B2B automatically generates 997 against incoming EDI file. I checked the xml file from Business Message and it should be valid based on XSD and ECS we uploaded in document definition.
Not sure why this is happening only in case of 4030 and 5010 version only. We are currently on 11g and I created guidlines ECS and XSD from 10G document editor, hope that doesnt make any difference.
Thanks,
Vijay.

  • Pool Master server failover  issue in Oracle VM 2.2.1

Hello All , We are new to oracle VM world. Sorry about detailed explanation.
Our current configuration is, server1-poolmaster/utility/VM server & Server2-utility/VM server
We have guest-VM running on both servers, and serverpool-VIP is configured properly. Below is our OVS-version.
    #rpm -qa | grep -i ovs
    oracle-logos-4.9.17-7ovs
    enterprise-linux-ovs-5-1.0
    ovs-release-2.2-1.0
    ovs-utils-1.0-34
    kernel-ovs-2.6.18-128.2.1.4.25.el5
    ovs-agent-2.3-42
When we tested HA failover(shutting down server1), it work fine as expected. Pool master moved from server1 to server2, and guest VM restarted on server-2(which was running on server1 earlier).
    Now-- Pool master is server2.
When we shutdown server2 now, pool master is not migrated to server1 & the guest-VMs(running on server 2) all went to power-off mode & serverpool is "inactive status'.
Found below error in server1's /var/log/messages.. It seems like some 'dead-lock situation, and the serverpool-VIP is not moved from server2 to server1, until server2 came up online". Why is it so? The expected result should be "pool-master" & serverpool-VIP should moved to server1, but it didnt.
Anyone experienced this? Any help/ input is appreciated.

You might be running into a OCFS2 bug. Check the bug list for bug 1099
    http://oss.oracle.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=1099
also related to this subject might be bug 1095 and 1080. You might want to check with the OCFS2 guys at Oracle and participate in resolving this bug. Not sure this is the case however I think this is a good starting point.
    Please keep us posted.

    Johan Louwers.

My customer installed an LMS 3.2 on Windows 2008 Server with SP1.
Now the DFM Notification Services causing Problems.
We configured for a test the Event Set A and setup a Notification group with the following boxes ticked:

    Active
    Event Selection
    Event Set: A

    Active
And all Devices marked in the device selector.
At least the E-Mail configuration was set.
Now none of the Alerts or Events generate an automated e-mail, while the manual mailing from the AAD is working.

What is causing these Problem? A corrupt database or some invalid setting??
    Does anybody has an idea?

    Hi Joe,
    thanks for your fast reply.
    The corresponding SR is 614309645.
These are the TAC provided files and sizes.

    05/06/2010 10:46 AM 7,112  ProcessEPMDataManager.class
    The setup instruction from TAC:
    1- Stop the  daemon manager:
                 net stop crmdmgtd
    2- Go  to:
    $NMSROOT/MDC/tomcat/webapps/triveni/WEB-INF/classes/com/cisco/nm/trx/nos/server
and backup  the original files (either copy them to another safe directory or rename them to  something like . Please don't retain the  original extension when renaming the files.
3- Make  sure that the patch files have the following MD5s:
    MD5  (ProcessEPMDataManager$EpmDataQueueItem$epmAlarmHistory.class) =  08851732b0b3aac5bb0636cc3e8e3c10
    MD5  (ProcessEPMDataManager$EpmDataQueueItem$epmConditionHistory.class) =  7933e55abb6ad604aa6ca8d3126ff189
    MD5  (ProcessEPMDataManager$EpmDataQueueItem$epmEventProperties.class) =  af3b72952ec59d59e30b0309af80a9d2
    MD5  (ProcessEPMDataManager$EpmDataQueueItem.class) =  a70f49f8eab6bdea007b4ddd79e3809f
    MD5  (ProcessEPMDataManager.class) =  a6ec024955bb638d8fec47694816a82a3-
4- Replace  the originals in the above mentioned directory with these  versions.
    5 Start the  Daemon manager:
                 net start crmdmgtd
I followed these instructions and still facing the problem.
I also searched for the libeay32.dll and ssleay32.dll, i found them, but in a path not included in the Windows PATH variable. Therefore these files should not influence LMS.
In the NOS Log i still see these messages:
    10-May-2010|15:01:10.027|ERROR|NOS|Process EPM Data Thread:Pooled  Thread:1|EpmDataQueueItem|processEPMData()|.|Caught Exception in  processEPMData():  java.util.NoSuchElementException
    10-May-2010|15:01:39.747|DEBUG|NOS|Thread-5|EPMPoller|pollEPM_Wash|.|Inside  pollEPM_Wash
    10-May-2010|15:01:39.747|DEBUG|NOS|Thread-5|EPMPoller|pollEPM_Wash()|.|!!  _pollStarted =  true
    10-May-2010|15:01:39.747|DEBUG|NOS|Thread-5|NOSUtil|sendNotifOnStart|.|0
    10-May-2010|15:01:39.747|DEBUG|NOS|Thread-5|EPMPoller|pollEPM_Wash()|.|No  DB Exception in  polling
Since these Messages depends on EPM Data i had a look into the EPMServer.log and EPM.log
The EPMServer.log is shortened and showing all entries from the last dmgtd start. After the usual urn_not_found messages and the init of the Groups the following entry is generated:
    java.lang.NullPointerException
        at com.cisco.nm.trx.epm.providers.alarm.AlarmUpdateListener.processUpdatedAlarm(Unknown Source)
        at com.cisco.nm.trx.epm.providers.alarm.AlarmUpdateListener.run(Unknown Source)
        at java.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java:595)
After that i changerd the logging of EPM to debug and attached the file as EPM_Debug.zip to this post.
Thanks a lot for your valuable support so far.
    Cheers Frank

    Hi
I have checked and as of now what i can see that the phone is connected and added in the rmcm user that we used as jtapi in AQM .
However further troubleshooting we found that while in call , in the agent PC it is generating a RAW file , but it is not generating any.spx file.
we have given compaince license to user .
we also checked by giving advance license for dektop recording but the outcome is same , it is not generating any .erec file as well.
and cannot find nay file in server as well.
I attcahing a logs i think may be relevant to find the issue frp the client desktop .
The mAc id of the phone end with "BACE"
    your help is appreciated.

  • Failing RAM and Memtest86

I had a feeling it would be a matter of time until the spontaneous restarts and error messages would show up in Build #2 with the bulk type VT RAM.I already suspect the RAM anyway as I feel it is the weakest part of my system. What I had a hard time deciphering was the Readme of the Memtest86.What or how many errors  do I need to actually decide the RAM is bad.I can easily swap my Mushkin to see if same problems exist, which I will do in a few minutes anyway. Was playing Halo when I experienced a restart. As of right now, while only running 13:21 minutes on Test #6 I currently have 1,997 errors. Are these the numbers I need to determine whether or not the RAM is bad? This is my first time using Memtest86. Thanks tbt

I was really in a lousy mood earlier over this. I have been pricing RAM and, just before the holidays,I can't justify the cost.

I updated libvirt to git-20100125. The crashes are gone, but when I try to install a guest, virtinst crashes with the following output:
    Starting install...

Domain installation may not have been
successful.  If it was, you can restart your domain
by running 'virsh start vzoltan0'; otherwise, please

I have tried almost everything, from reverting to older git checkouts and the 0.6.5 stable release to updating virtinst, virtviewer and virt-manager to the latest hg builds. None of this worked, and I can't seem to find anything about this error on google either.
    Does anyone have a solution?

  • Overlapped I/O error 997 installing SQL Server 2014 Express on Windows Server 2012 R2

I'm attempting to install SQL Server 2014 Express on a Windows Server 2012 R2 system. When I do the install, it fails (several times) with an "Error: 997. Overlapped I/O operation is in progress.". From searching the web, I can see many people
have had this problem with this installer and other non-SQL server installers.
I've tried every solution I can find discussed, but none help with my problems The system is fully updated, with the exception of the KB2538243 (VC 2008 SP1 redist), which is probably failing for the same reason.
I've tried removing several updates mentioned in other articles (KB2918614). I've confirmed that I'm not using a temporary profile.
Does anyone have an idea of how I can solve this issue?
    Thanks,
    Zack

  • Error 997. Overlapped I/O operation is in progress during SQL Server 2014 X64 Express

I am trying to install SQL Management Studio from SQL Server 2014 X64 Express, however during installation, getting multiple identical errors:
Error 997. Overlapped I/O operation is in progress
Previously, someone posted similar question http://blogs.msdn.com/b/vsnetsetup/archive/2014/10/27/error-997-overlapped-i-o-operation-is-in-progress-kb2918614-breaks-windows-installer-service.aspx It was suggested to uninstall: KB3000988, KB2918614, I did so,
but it didn't help. Also, tried to modify registry to add "product code" using ORCA tool. Maybe, I used wrong codes ? Thank you !

    Hi Alexander,
According to your description, you encounter the error 997 when installing SQL Server 2014 Management Studio. This issue could be due to the account problem or third-party software scanning. Besides paSQuaLe's post, you could also check the following things.
    1. Check the account with which you log on to the server, make sure that it is not an account with temporary profile.
    2. Run SQL Server setup file locally on your computer and make sure that you choose ‘Run as administrator’ to run the setup.
    3. Disable any Anti-virus and reboot your server.
    4. Check for any problems with disk drive where you are installing SQL Server files.

  • FA/997 for Validation Error

    Hi All,
I need some clarification on receiving the 997/FA for the Validation error that happens at the remote trading partner.
Will the 997 payload contain the details of the error in it??
How will B2B interpret the FA as positive FA or negative FA?
In my case the payload which I am sending is getting validation error at receiving side, they are sending me the FA. But in my side, both the initial transaction and the ack transaction goes to MSG_Completed state. Is it a normal behavior?
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Monica

    Hi,
    1. The 997 has fields which will tell if the EDI transactions has SNIP errors. In your case, the outbound EDI should goto MSG_ERROR.
    2. In a 999 transaction, the fields such as AK9, IK4, IK5 will tell the problem in the EDI, I am sure 997 should also have something like that.

  • KB2918614: Error 997.Overlapped I/O operation is in progress.

During the installation of some programs we suddenly get the error 'Error 997.Overlapped I/O operation is in progress.'. These programs always installed without any problems. After searching the internet we found several references to KB2918614 and that
the problems could be solved by uninstalling KB2918614 . Our programs also could be installed again when we removed the update KB2918614 (Vulnerability in Windows Installer Service Could Allow Elevation of Privilege (2962490)).
Has anyone experienced this also, what causes it and is there another solution then uninstalling the update KB2918614.

    Hi,
Have you tried other MSI installer like what I mentioned in my previous post, 7-zip or Firefox?
I also tried to install the Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Tools for Office Runtime with no issue. This issue happened depending on some certain situation I think.
Need more time to determine, and till now, you may have to remove this update and wait for further released.

Judging by the error message I would say the setup is trying to access a network share that is no longer available to the node due to the failover. How many instances are installed in each node?
Open resource monitor and, in the disk section, check which files are being accessed by I/O threads. See if there are any files in use that the SP2 installer would supposedly try to access.
If possible, save the resource monitor results, failback the instance, and check disk usage in the other node to try to detect any abnormal disk access.

       Hi,
I found an article explaining the issue: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/927156.
Please try to disconnect the configuration database from existing farm environment, and then create a new configuration database:
    1.      Click Start, click Run, type cmd in the Open box, and then click OK.
    2.      At the command line, change to the following directory: \Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\web server extensions
          \12\BIN
    3.      At the command prompt, type the following command to create a new configuration database: psconfig -cmd configdb -create -server
ServerName -database ConfigDBName -user Domain\User -password Password
    4.      Rerun the SharePoint Products and Technologies Wizard.
    Hope it helps.

  • B2B-51512 Error processing Amazon 997

    Amazon sends a 997 that is a version 4010 but the ISA12 = '00400' and the GS08 = '004010'.
We got this error when receiving their 997:
    Machine Info: (nalinoap19)
    Validation of Interchange parameters failed.
Please verify all the Interchange parameters in the B2B configuration match the Interchange parameters in the message.
Following parameters are not matching with the configured parameters in B2B.
    key = [InterchangeControlVersion] value = [00400] param = [00401]
We have created a special 997 definition using EDIFECS editor and that includes the ISA/GS segments and the valid values in the ISA12 field has been stripped of all except '00400'.
We have installed the modified XSD/ECS files as an additional 997 definition in the Administration --> Document tab:   set as EDI_X12 -> 4010 -> 997 -> 997-400Def.
We updated our 997 agreement in Amazon trading partner setup with the new document definition,, validated, and deployed but still get the error.
In the B2B Console Reports it is showing the correct Agreement name and id in the Business Message: Amazon_EDI_X12_4010_997_997-400Def_Inbound, so we know it is picking up the correct agreement.
In the agreement we have the EDI Group ID, EDI Interchange ID, and EDI Interchange ID Qualifier defined for both partners.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to get this to work properly.
If I could attach files I would attach the custom 997 ECS and XSD for review but that does not appear to be possible.
Anyone that has gotten Amazon inbound 997s to pass validation would pass along some knowledge it would be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you.
    Regards,
    Ken

    Suneel,
Please cross-check the value of "Interchange Control Version Number" in 997 Document configuration (part of Interchange configuration while creating Document Protocol Version)
    Regards,
    Anuj

  • Active Directory Certificate Services setup failed with the following error: Overlapped I/O operation is in progress. 0x800703e5 (WIN32: 997)

    Hi,
I am trying to install certificate services on a windows 2008 server (R2 ENT SP1) with a PCIe nCipher HSM module installed on it. The version of nCipher SW is = 11.30.  It is a RootCA, and I am trying to use a key that is already stored in the HSM (I
have done this before with a PCI HSM (older HW version)).  I select “Use existing private key” and “Select an existing private key on this computer” on the wizard, then i change the CSP to nCipher and click on "search" the key I am looking for
appears and I select that one.  I repeat, I have done this before and it works with a PCI HSM module.
The installation is finished before being prompted to insert the operator cards, and it ends with two errors:
<Error>: Active Directory Certificate Services setup failed with the following error: Overlapped I/O operation is in progress. 0x800703e5 (WIN32: 997)
    And:

Has anyone experienced this before? Am I missing something here?
Any help will be very appreciated
    Thanks in advance

    Hi, thanks for your support.
I have been playing around a bit with some ncipher commands and found this:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\nCipher\nfast\bin>cspcheck.exe
    cspcheck: fatal error: File key_mscapi_container-1c44b9424a23f6cddc91e8a065241a0
9aa719e4f (key #1): 0 modules contain the counter (NVRAM file ID 021c44b9424a23f
    6cddc91)
cspcheck: information: 2 containers and 2 keys found.
    cspcheck: fatal error occurred.
If I perform the same command on the original server (the server with the original kmdata folder and with the running RootCA services):
    E:\nfast\bin>cspcheck.exe
cspcheck: information: 2 containers and 2 keys found.
cspcheck: everything seems to be in order.
    Strange?
Moreover, when I do a csptest.exe command (also on both servers, i find this)
    On the new server:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\nCipher\nfast\bin>csptest.exe
    nCipher CSP test software
    =========================
Found the nCipher domestic CSP named 'nCipher Enhanced Cryptographic Provider'
Provider name: nCipher Enhanced Cryptographic Provider
      Version number: 1.48
    User key containers:
Container 'csptest.exe' has no stored keys.
Container 'Administrator' has no stored keys.
      Machine key containers:
        Container '352dd28a-17cb-4c6f-b6e4-bf39bcf75db5' has a 2048-bit signature key.
Container 'ROOTCA' has no stored keys.
Container 'csptest.exe' has no stored keys.
    While in the old server:
    E:\nfast\bin>csptest.exe
    nCipher CSP test software
    =========================
Found the nCipher domestic CSP named 'nCipher Enhanced Cryptographic Provider'
Provider name: nCipher Enhanced Cryptographic Provider
      Version number: 1.40
    User key containers:
Container 'csptest.exe' has no stored keys.
      Machine key containers:
        Container '352dd28a-17cb-4c6f-b6e4-bf39bcf75db5' has a 2048-bit signature key.
Container 'ROOTCA' has a 2048-bit signature key.
Container 'csptest.exe' has no stored keys.
As you can see, the container called ROOTCA, which is the one that I use during the installation, says it has no stored keys.  While on the old server, it says it contains a key.  Why is this happening?  I dont know, I am copying the complete
key management folder from one server to another and initialize the security world with that folder as I always do, and i dont have any errors during this procedure.
Do you know what could be the cause of this? or how can I fix this?  Thanks a lot, best regards.
