9i; JSP; Add a .js file to JSP project?

Hi,
How can i add a file with other extension(not specified in
wizard) to my project in system navigator. I'd like to put all
JavaScript codes in a file with extension .js and added to the
project.

PaulDixon wrote:
I've verified it's not present by attempting to load it and failing as outlined in the original post.
That's not an entirely meaningful verification as it only proves your code is failing; not why. Open the bundle in the Finder and look.
Perhaps my question would be better phrases as +'How do I stop XCode from treating a .js file as source code and put it in the resource bundle instead'+
Anything you want in the bundle needs to be in the "Copy Bundle Resources" build phase for the target.

How do I add an existing file to a project?Right now you just need to copy the file into the sourcepath of your project, going forward we're going to provide some easier way to do this.
i.e. you can use the windows explorer to copy C:\src\com\acme\MyClass.java to C:\jdev\mywork\Application1\Project1\src\com\acme\MyClass.java

  • How to add a jar file to a project

I believe I have followed the necessary steps to add a jar file to my project. I have added this jar file as a new library and I see all the classes in it. I have even added it to my SessionBean1.java via the Add ---> Property menu. I noticed that this did not do the import of the class, so I did it myself. I also noticed that it did the drop downs and found the class for me automatically. Specifically, the IDE knows about the class layout and can see my class package as I type it out.
    So far so good....
I then go to compile the project and I get the error:
C:\Projects\safe\Safe\src\safe\SessionBean1.java:11: package com.dusa.bo does not exist
    import com.dusa.bo.BackofficePerson;
Am I missing something? I looked around and it looks to me like the jar file is in the project and it should know about it. Again, I do know that the editor can find it, because as I type import ..... it then list "com" as an option to click on, then if I click on com, it will then list dusa ... and so on.
    Thanks

I figured this out. Sorry for the post.

Add build config file for SMILPlugin project
    Added Paths:
        osmf/trunk/plugins/SMILPlugin/SMILPlugin-build-config.xml

    Hi mg30,
There is no way to overwrite the XML configurations file just through modifying the SQL Server Agent job steps.  The Dtexec utility will apply the default package configurations for the second time after applying the options specified in the command
lines or other package configurations configured in the job step.
If the package is not deployed/installed, the Dtexec utility looks for the XML configurations file according to the file path defined in the Package Configurations Organizer window. In this situation, you need to either disable the package configurations
or modify the XML file path in the BIDS.
If the package is already deployed/installed, you need to modify the package as above or re-specify the install folder for the package configurations file.

  • How to add dynamically called files to a teststand workspace?

I am using TestStand 4.1.1 and LabVIEW 8.6.1 to try and install dynamically called VI's into a TestStand workspace.  I am following the instructions on pp. 14-8 through 14-10 in the TestStand Reference Manual (May 2008) edition.  So far I have not been successful, and the instructions are not clear.  For example, I cannot see in the instructions anywhere that I am supposed to add my test sequence.  Should the test sequence already be loaded in the project before this set of instructions is followed?  Could someone clarify this set of instructions for me?
Then when I get a successful build, I would like to try out the deployment and installation on a target computer.  Please provide a detailed and clear set of instructions on how this can be accomplished.
Also, is there anyway to do this without building an installation?  Originally I just wanted to create the deployment without an installation.  But please explain both ways.
    Thank you.
    epsilon-delta

    Epsilon,
What are you using dynamically called VI's for? Are you adding dynamic VI's to LabVIEW, or to TestStand? If you are calling from TestStand, you don't need to do anything, the deployment utility will do all of the work for you.  The section on adding dynamically called files to a workspace listed in the Test Stand Reference Manual  is a mini-tutorial, and not exactly step by step instructions. All you need to do to add dynamically called VI's is to add them to your workspace file, and make sure the TSW is saved before you build your deployment. The example right before that one, covers how to deploy from a TSW, and mentions that you need to add your sequence file to the project that is in the workspace.
The steps needed to deploy a sequence is as follows:
    1. Create a new workspace file
    2. Right click on the workspace file and select "Add a project"
    3.
Right click the project and select add additional files (here you
should add your sequence file and any files that are dynamically called
    (e.g. VIs))
    4. Go to Tools --> Deploy TestStand System
    5. Check "Deploy Files from TestStand Workspace File"
    6. Select the appropriate file path where you saved the workspace file
    7. Add in a path for the location you want to store your deployable image (for instance your desk top)
    8.
Go to the distributed files tab and select "yes" to analyze the source
files [here you will find all the files you chose to include with your
distribution, this is automatically populated from the workspace and
its dependencies), if you are deploying and plan on using a User
Interface and not the TestStand Sequence Editor, here you would need to
    include the UI as well
    9. If you were making an installer, you
could check the "Create installer" box under installer options and
specify a location. Also here you could click on the drivers and
components box to add additional driver installation (only if you are
    building an installer)
    10. Click on build status, then build
You can also reference the same manual 14-7 through 14-8 which goes through an example deployment, and installation on a target computer.
After you build your installer, copy the files to the target computer and run the setup.exe to install to the new computer, what problems do you have? Do you get errors, and if so can you take screenshots of them?
If you do not wish to create an installer, and you already have a user interface installed, and the TestStand engine on your target machine, you can just copy all of your files to the target machine, and run them normally. We generally recommend building installers, so that any missing dependencies on the target system could be installed, and the TestStand  deployment tool takes care of pulling out all the needed files for you (except for the dynamiclly called ones, which is why you need to add them yourself). If you want you can use the deployment tool to create an image and then move that image to the target computer. The image should have all of your non-dynamic files included, but still requires that your system have all needed components installed. Please let me know what part of the deployment, installation process you are having errors, and we can help you troubleshoot. I always recommend trying to deploy a very simple example sequence with no code modules, if you are having problems. This is always a good troubleshooting tip that will help to determine if the problem is with one of your systems, or with your specific sequence file.

  • Adding a class file to JCOP project

I'm trying to add a class file a JCOP project, I'm using a class folder.

Thank you very much for your help.

I'm getting the error at JCOP Shell after entire load (I think?):

I think the shell does it automatically at the beginning of the script .

Yes, my class is an applet, but Im trying to use(import) a regular class.
    >are you trying to perform any crypto?
    No
    >Is there a PIN required to perform any operation?
    I dont think so.
I got the applet and this class from third party. The strange thing is that when I compile and convert it using DOS prompt, I can load it successfully on a SIM, but it doesnt work in JCOP, does it make any sense? Im probably doing something wrong

  • Importing .htm files into RoboHelp project

In my project in RoboHelp, when I go to File > Import > HTML File… to add a .htm file to my project, it locks up on me instead of providing a directory listing allowing me to select files to add to my project.  The only way to get out of it is to go to the Task Manager and killing the process.

    Hi there
Your use of "The Vault" would seem to most certainly describe some form of a Source Control system. Source Control systems offer a combination between a Librarian and a Traffic Cop. Typically you log into these systems with a user ID and a password. That way the system knows who you are.
Typically with these systems the data resides on a coroporate network. And also typically you will have a "working folder" on your hard drive where the files exist. When everything is checked into the Source Control system, the files on your hard drive are flagged as "Read Only".
When you need to work with a file, you perform a process of checking out. The Source Control system then changes the Read Only status of the file on your hard drive to Read/Write. But it also makes a note of the date/time stamp. If the file stored in Source Control is newer than the counterpart on your hard drive, it copies the newer file to your hard drive before allowing you to make changes.
I'd begin with a simple sanity check. Create a totally separate and new project. Add a topic or three. Add an image. Generate. Do things work okay? If not, you have some form of issue with RoboHelp that needs to be resolved before you attempt to troubleshoot what is happening with your project in Source Control.
Perhaps try copying the content from Source control to a different folder and see if you are then able to make edits.
Hopefully something here either helped directly or sparked a thought that does.
    Cheers... Rick

  • How to add existing jsp file to a project?

I am trying out 10g developer preview. Looks like a lot of bugs are there in the tool. I would like to know how to add existing jsp file into a project. I tried the Import functionality, but it shows the option to create a project and include only Java files. Is there a way to do this? Thank you

Just copy the files in the directory where the rest of your source file is.

  • Remote system JSP project not working in eclipse

    Hi
I am developing a JSP project. My files are on a remote server and I want to configure it in Eclipse 3.3 with Lomboz. The problem is After adding the project it gives a warning that xml files can't be validated. The exact warning is
The file cannot be validated as the XML Schema "\192.168.1.10\gunjan_share\workspace\Project1\WebContent\WEB-INF\web.xml (The system cannot find the path specified)" that is specified as describing the syntax of the file cannot be located.
Due to this error JSP pages are not getting compiled.
    Plz help me
    Thanks

    Extracted from Note 1067696.1:
You need to either adapt your code to remove the scriptlets in your JSP page,
or you can use the following Java option to disable OJSP:
    -Dadfvdt.disableOjspDeployment=true
You can add this option -Dadfvdt.disableOjspDeployment=true in your file "ide.conf" in the directory "<Middleware_Home>\jdeveloper\ide\bin"
For your Production environment, you can have your Managed WLS ignoring the OJSP mode by adding the Java Option -Dadfvdt.disableOjspDeployment=true
    * in the "startManagedWebLogic" (if you want to limit it to a specific Managed Server)
    * or "setDomainEnv" (for all managed servers in a domain).

How to compile jsp project on the plateform of Myeclipse and jboss
hi :-) this is not eclipse forum and not that sure about your problem but i'll try to answer :-)
i'm not sure how you create your war but there something wrong with your web.xml. kindly check it :-)
by d way, you can deploy your project in my-eclipse by
    - right click on the project then select my-eclipse > Add and Remove Project Deployment's
    - a new window will open and you can now configure how you deploy your project :-)
other alternative edit your jboss-service.xml then put something like this
    <attribute name="URLs">deploy/, file:/D:/workspace/deploy</attribute>
(note, change the path according to your needs)

  • How to add a CSV file to a desktop application and access it?

I'm writing a desktop application for looking up phone numbers (this numbers are stored in a .CSV file). Where should I put the file in the project and how to access it? I intend to put it in the project and open it in a buffered reader!
    Thanks!

The best place to put application data is probably user.home, as described in the [Store Application Settings and Components|http://sdnshare.sun.com/view.jsp?id=2305] post at SDNShare.
If those listings are still messed up, try these alternate renderings of [AppStore.java|http://pscode.org/fmt/sbx.html?url=/test%2FAppStore.java&col=2&fnt=2&tab=2&ln=0] & [AppStoreDemo.java|http://pscode.org/fmt/sbx.html?url=/test%2FAppStoreDemo.java&col=2&fnt=2&tab=2&ln=0].

  • How to import existing jsp project into jdeveloper

can someone help me how to import existing jsp project into jdeveloper?
can give me step by step to import..cause i am new for jdeveloper..
    thank you very much

Well there are two options - if you have a WAR file with the code in it, then you can use the file->import WAR.
Or you can use the new->Project from source code.
Note that you'll probably need to do some library settings and some directory setting after that.
Have a look at this demo for basic steps:

You can add a  Excel file as the data source for a universe,  below are the steps.
Ensure that the following steps are done before inserting a table from Excel sheet into a universe.
    1. Go to Excel and highlight all the cells that you want in the same table.
    2. Go to the Name box from Insert->Name->Define and give a name (in Designer, you see this name as a table of all the values you have selected).
    3. Go to Designer and pop up the table browser. You have to drag and drop the name you gave.
and check the SP of ur BO.
you can use .xls file as datasource but you cannot use .xlsx(windows 2007) .
    Regards,
    Rajesh
