A configuration problem with saloris8

I installed Solaris8 for intel on my pc. When I logoned to the system, it told me that some configurations of the windows system are incomplete or incorrect.
I tried doing the confuguration test with kdmconfig,but it showed the message"Out the ranage H:31.6khz V:39.5hz", and just stuck there.
How can I correct this? Any information or suggestions would be highly appreciated.

You have a JSP2.0 container? (eg Tomcat 5)

Datasource Configuration problem with Tomcat-4.0.3

When I trying to open connection to my DB2 database in tomcat -4.0.3,
I have put db2java.jar in /usr/local/jakartha-tomcat-4.03/common/lib directory
when I am trying to connect Database through my servlet getting expections

J2ee agent 2.2 configuration problem with Websphere Portal 5.1

I am trying to configure j2ee agent 2.2 with Websphere Portal server.
I have followed the document "Sun Java SystemAccess Manager
PolicyAgent 2.2 Guide for IBM WebSphere Portal Server 5.1.0.2"

Also the security on app server has been enabled and is talking to LDAP.
My aim here is to enable application server (portal server) to autheticate requests.

From whatever analysis I have done so far, I believe this issue is related to the personal certificate for sun one webserver (on which access manager & LDAP are installed) not registered with the application server (portal server).
I am not sure about the way I go by solving the issue.

I am getting error as follows in the webserver error log:-

Although I can get into am console but with https://apollo.maxnewyorklife.com/amconsole
Tried the same thing, but couldnt resolve it. I will give it another go.
Generally I am getting same error again and again.
In my amWebsphere log file of j2ee agent (under root\am_wps_agent\agent_001\logs\debug) error I get.....

Airport extreme configuration problem with Netgear DG834PN

Good morning,
I have a problem. I bought an AEBS via the WAN port to connect to my Netgear DG834PN.
I turned off the WiFi on the Netgear, I connected the AEBS in bridge mode, but with the iMac and other iDevice there are no problems.
On the contrary my Acer Travelmate (Win 7) does not want to connect ... fact is connected, the card tells me that is connected and has access to the internet, but does not show mewhen I browse any web page, Skype does not connect ...
Do you have suggestions for configuring the Netgear or dell'AEBS?

The Windows Firewall may be blocking the connection attempt. I have not used Windows 7, but on an XP machine, the Firewall settings are in the Control Panel. Check to see if this might be the case so you can "Allow" an "Exception".
The anti-virus software may also be blocking the connection. You may need to turn it off for the configuration, then turn it back on.
It will often help to try to configure the device using Ethernet, not wireless. Connect a spare Ethernet cable from your PC to one of the LAN <-> ports on the AirPort Extreme. Restart both the PC and AirPort Extreme, then open AirPort Utility again.
If still no luck, click the AirPort Utility File menu at the upper left hand corner of the screen and select Configure Other. Enter 10.0.1.1 into the address box and "public" (without the quotes) in the password box.

Configuration problem with Mac Mail/ATT

Starting probably this morning, wireless on a PPC iMac was sluggish. Connections didn't finish. Connecting to an URL led to hanging connections.
Well, contacting ATT (my ISP), we discovered that all three of our Macs have the same problem. No problem sending and receiving email through the Ethernet, but wireless was sluggish. ATT said that, since we're dealing with a Mac Mail issue, it would be $14.99 for help on the configuration.
I don't know the new configuration, but I could change them - if I knew the settings. I'm hoping that someone has the information to save me some money. And if someone consults this discussion, they'll know the answer by looking at this thread.
Does anybody know about changes in email configurations over the past few days?

Nobody seemed to know the answer to this, so I had to look it up.
Seems that the DNS settings were incorrect for some reason. I applied OpenDNS to each of the computers in our house, and everything works fine now. I love OpenDNS.

Configuration problem with a client proxy

Each time I try to create a stateless proxy (associated to a stateless web service), SAP raise the same problem when he execute :
create object rfc_proxy.
When I debug the code, I find that the proxy configuration is wrong.
In CL_SRT_LP_MAINTENANCE~READ_LP_CONFIG, it reads the proxy's configuration from the table srt_lp_feat and does a test (IF) which provokes my problem.

This function returns a table with the proxy's configuration. Here is the table header :

And for one line (<i>FEATURE</i> = http://www.sap.com/webas/630/soap/features/transportguarantee/), I found that the property and value field are "initial".
Can it normally happen ?
I have made some other test to understand the priority of NOT in the IF statement.
Test 1 :
if not lp_feat-value is initial or lp_feat-property is initial.
Test 2 :
if not ( lp_feat-value is initial or lp_feat-property is initial ).
Test 3 :
if lp_feat-value is not initial and lp_feat-property is not initial.
The test 2 and 3 returns the same good result where the test 1 returns line where the property field is "initial".
So, am I wrong or the method <i>read_lp_config</i> seems to have a bug ?

Thanks!The output stream has a buffer and isn't directly writing the data to the socket. Calling flush forces a write.

Non DBCP Solutions. I understand Tomcat supports only MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Oracle 8i but not DB2.

Up to now everything is fine, ds is not null, but inside ds (password, url, username...) all of them are null
So when you execute conn = ds.getConnection(); there will be exception.

Screensaver configuration problem with lost iPhoto library

Hi, I justed switched my macbook and I used to have another iPhoto library in an external HD that is now gone. I cannot configure the screensaver, I think it searches for my lost iPhoto library and cannot select my current pictures. Can someone help me with this problem? Thanks.

If the rebuild doesn't help try Fix 101: make a temporary, backup copy of the library if you don't already have a backup copy and try the following:
1 - delete the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your
User/Home()/Library/ Preferences folder.
2 - delete iPhoto's cache file, Cache.db, that is located in your
User/Home()/Library/Caches/com.apple.iPhoto folder.
3 - launch iPhoto and try again.
NOTE: If you're moved your library from its default location in your Home/Pictures folder you will have to point iPhoto to its new location when you next open iPhoto by holding down the Option key when launching iPhoto. You'll also have to reset the iPhoto's various preferences.

Bug in form action configuration: problem with multifield

I’ve created a new page in content/geometrixx-outdoors/en/ and added a form component (from the foundation components).
I configure the form’s start element with the action type ‘Mail’ and add a mail address in the Mailto field (xtype="multifield") in the action configuration area.
I save the configuration and see the start node in the JCR having a property ‘mailto’ with the specified value (as expected).
However, if I open the start element’s configuration dialog again and try to change the mail address (in Mailto) or add another mail address (in Mailto, CC or BCC), clicking the dialog’s OK button doesn’t close the dialog and save the values anymore.
Only after I removw a multifield element, I’m able to save the values by clicking the OK button.
(Tested with FF 11 and Chrome 18.)
I'de like to see this problem fixed.
Can I file this problem description as bug anywhere?

I forgott to mention that I've already installed CQ5.5.
Unfortunately, I see this bug not fixed yet.
Note: it's the multifield (xtype="multifield") that's bothering me.
This has nothing to do with the radio or checkbox field. There's no default selection possible.

i understand they are normally both sent for that purpose, but obviously there is a compatibility problem that has existed since tiger, was not fixed in leopard, and is still not fixed in snow leopard. thats pretty pathetic.
i know that windows does not follow international standards or whatnot (recent news article) but regardless it is still the #1 used operating system. and so if Mail wants to be used by people, it can only do so if it is compatible with Outlook and Windows Live Mail users.
Entourage and Thunderbird are fine, but they got user issues I do not want to deal with.
Mail is the only app I can not get to send messages properly for Windows users to display.
please i beg someone to resolve this issue.
The only major problem i need fixed is that Windows users have the message body appear twice. First in Rich text, then in Plain text. This is really bothersome and confusing, especially when a message body is long, or if there is many replies.

Configuration problem with Oracle 8i on Win2K

I have been trying to install Oracle 8i on Windows 2000 professional but when I try to run the database configuration wizard it just doesn't come up with anything. Really wierd and when I try to configure a database then I get this error ORA - 12560: TNS : protocol adapter error. Please can someone help me out. Thanks.....

Re/ Ora-1034. I'd concur w/ previous reply. This error means that you're unable to access a database. So either s sample db was not created during the 8i install process or you didn't startup the db. Try creating a small sample db and then try to access it.

J2SE 1.4 Logger configuration problems with Tomcat 4.0

I'm using Tomcat 4.0 as a servlet container and I'm trying out the new J2SE 1.4 logging API.
Its working fine with the standard settings, which sets the level to INFO on the console handler.
I would like to set the level to FINER to show some debugging info, but can't seem to get it going.
I have tried setting the default level in my %JAVA_HOME%\jre\lib\logging.properties file, but it doesn't want to display log records of level FINER.
I have also change the console handler to FINER by setting java.util.logging.ConsoleHandler.level = FINER
I have also specified the config file parameter to point to a config file explicitly using the -Djava.util.logging.config.file=%CATALINA_HOME%\conf\logging.properties parameter in the catalina.bat script.
Anyone got this working?

Solved it. Isn't that always the way, you get frustrated enough to post a message, then you solve it 5 minutes later.
It was a simple problem of the higher level overriding the lower levels.

You're the man! I went though line-by-line with the Debian kernel config and indeed, the Ubuntu config had a bunch of debugging options enabled under Kernel and elsewhere. Just got the kernel built and it's the right size after disabling these debugging options.
