Hi,
I am using an InfoPath form to submit the data. In my form I am using one dropdown and one textbox in a repeating table, and the data is fetching from the SharePoint list.
Scenario: In my SharePoint list there is a column of Company name and other is of Focal Point name. In dropdown contains the company name column.
I want the functionality that when i select the Company name the associated focal point name should appear in the textbox.
To achieve this I am using the filter for dropdown but it is showing me error "A filter cannot be applied to the currently selected field. Select a different field."
Can anyone please tell me how can I do this.

I have a style sheet in my root directory. It is showing as being connected to my html page. It is written in with <link href="_css/main.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css /">.
In my Manage Sites section it is shown in "Advanced Settings" > "Local info" > "Site-wide Media Query file"
Despite all that when I click on any element in the Design view with either my CSS "Current" or "All" selected it keeps showing the error "No CSS properties apply to the current selection"
I have studied other sites of mine line by line where it works and compared it to this one and cannot see anything missing.
So I really would appreciate being pointed in the right direction.

I don't know as I apply all css manually BUT you have a / after css in the link to the stylesheet you provided below (if its not a typo) which may be causing the issue:

IPod "cannot be updated. The current file is in use."....how to fix?!

I have a MacBook and the iPod Nano that came with it. I also have a 4G(I think) 20GB iPod. I have both configured to my Macbook, using only certain playlists to be updated on each iPod.
I don't get any problems when I connect the 20GB iPod(w/ the Firewire), but whenever I connect my Nano(w/ the USB, I have to, it doesn't support Firewire), I get a message saying the iPod"cannot be updated. The current file is in use."
How do I fix this problem? I have my iPod to "Enable disk use", but everything else is OK, and I have separate playlists and designate each iPod to Sync Selected Playlists Only, and have different playlists selected.
How do I fix this and/or why is this problem happening?
(and I'm still going to ask any kind souls to check my previous posts and answer my Playlist Question thread, as that is a nagging problem as well)

Cannot insert selectItems at the current location

I extended the tag <f:selectItems> to return my own collection, but when I try to insert the tag from palette, I get the message "Cannot insert <selectItems> at the current location because the element is not valid at that location." When I insert it there manually, it works perfectly. How does the editor know, that it is not appropriate? (Or how to tell it that it is appropriate?)

I have a requirement wherein the user wants a filter to be applied on the F4 help in the query (for e.g. company code) for a specific area(for this e.g. real estate). Can I do this as now it brings all the company codes that exist

Hi,
It might be done. If your specific area is a compounding attribute to company code then restrict your area and co_code by variables (user entry). After you enter area into variable, F4 help for a co_code variable will show only codes from the entered area.

Thanks for answering. The version is XI.0.10. I just did the update yesterday hoping that I could now properly edit a scanned pdf document. Yes, it's happening on most all scanned documents. I followed your steps & found the list of fonts used in the document & then attempted to edit. The same occurs. When I type in a correction, I get an error alert... "the original font (in this case Fd 5805) is not available or can't be used in editing. Acrobat is using the font Minion Pro in its place."
When I select the text & right click as you suggested, my only choices are cut, copy, delete or select all, no "edit text".
I have no other options to choose another font. Thanks for any help you can direct my way.

Query to get objects list for which the current user has 'SELECT' privilege

I want to get tables and views list for which the current user has 'SELECT' privilege excluding sytem tables and views. The privilege information for the current user is scattered in more than one system views. I have following system views
USER_TAB_PRIVS_RECD - Object grants for which the current user is the grantee
ROLE_TAB_PRIVS - describes table privileges granted to roles. Information is provided only about roles to which the user has access.
If the object privilege is granted explicitly like "GRANT ALL ON TABLE_NAME TO "USERNAME" then this privilege entry goes to USER_TAB_PRIVIS_RECD
If the object privilege is granted by ROLE. Role is created with certain object privileges. this role is assigned to user "GRANT ROLE_NAME TO "USERNAME"", then this entry goes to ROLE_TAB_PRIVS
From these findings, I have composed below query
(SELECT DISTINCT TABLE_NAME FROM USER_TAB_PRIVS_RECD) UNION (SELECT DISTINCT TABLE_NAME FROM ROLE_TAB_PRIVS WHERE PRIVILEGE = 'SELECT')
Have I got user's all prvilege details? should I look some other system views?

I am facing an odd issue here with a Dashboard Report in PowerView.
The task is to display, in a table, a percentage of total (revenue) by any filter that the client wants. For instance, if the client selects the year (to be short) 2013, it should display for each Customer the percentage of total as Participation field.
If the client select 2014, the data should change dinamically and the same if he selects both years.
The issue that I am facing is that it calculates correctly (showing total of 100%) for either 2013 or 2014, but when I select both it sums up and shows 200% total, altering all other lines with the same behavior.
So, basically what I need is to immitate a PARTITION BY analytic function, for instance, PARTITION BY YEAR and calculate the data over the total of the selected year only (if there are many years selected, the should be calculated over it, resulting in a
100% total).
Here is the formula that I am using in the column:
=[Valor NF]/CALCULATE(SUM([Valor NF]);ALLEXCEPT(Faturamento;Faturamento[Ano]))
Where [Valor NF] is the source column (invoyce total), Faturamento is my table (Revenue) and [Ano] is the year column, (I am calculating only by year to test)
I'd appreciate any suggestion.

How to prevent an automatic fill in of the current date into a Date/Time Field

hi,
maybe i checked out a strange behaviour of the adobe designer. when i put a "normal" data/time field (with no data pattern, display pattern, etc.) on a form and then change (on the pdf preview tab) to the newly designed date field,i have to stay about 2 minutes on this field not filling it out.
after these minutes the current date is filled in automatically in the date/time field.
what can i do preventing that? any hints?

I don't have any info on timelines, all I can say is check back in future versions of Acrobat :(

I was trying to install OS X 10.6.8 on my current version of OS X 10.6.4 on the imac 11. it gave me a message that the os m trying to install cannot be istalled on the current version of the os. i then opted to installing only the additional software

only to find that the programs installed are not working and they have deactivted the already installed software and they are also not working.
how do i revert the changes i hav done?..pls help. the computer does not boot, it does not even reach the login phase. it just shows the apple logo and the spinning gear forever.

If your computer is not booting from the system DVD that originally came w/your computer, try a utility DVD like DiskWarrior, TechTool Pro, etc. and run the programs.
If you do not have any utility DVDs, you will need to take a trip down to your local Apple Store or an AASP.

Cannot upload because all the playlists that are selected..

Can someone please help me!! What does it mean when i plug my ipod in.. and it says "Cannot update because all of the playlists selected for updating no longer exisit..? Even though I have all my playlists on the side and everything?

If you have deleted a playlist, it will still try to update it untill you tell it not to. In iTunes, go to iTunes>Preferences and click on the iPod tab. There, you should be able to uncheck the playlist that it's trying to update.

Accessing the field values in different fields for calculation

I am creating a report in which I have used breaks for grouping the customers by their category. I have used summary on the amount field to calculate the sum in the individual category and also for total amount.
Now, I also want to add an column which could display the percentages of individual contributions.
So, its like I have to write a query accessing the total percentage, categorized percentage and individual amount.
My question: How can I access the various fields values in the query of some other field specifically sum and total sum( because it shows the sum([Amount]) for category sum and total sum both)

Hmmm, I assume you are talking about WebIntelligence here...
Ok, so let's go: you can access every "object" in the report simply by it's name. Every cell contains either a constant value (e.g. some text) or a formula, the simplest one can be just the value of an "object" from the query.
There is a formula bar on top which you can activate, where you can easily see the content of a specific cell and also copy/paste the formula from the cell, as well as access all the built-in functions.
WebI has a built-in calculator which works very similar to a "micro" olap engine, so you can access every sort of aggregate (of a measure) via a correspondig formula, irrelevant in which cell you are using it.
Nevertheless, there is a "computation context" which depends on the place where you put the formula, e.g. summary row, detail row, etc.

Why is the cursor jumping down to a different field?

I am working in Acrobat Pro 9. I actually have two slightly different senerios.
First: I have two Textbox fields in my document that are named the same so that the second will auto-fill when the first is filled in. They are set to mm/dd/yyyy.
When the first is filled out without using the /'s, an error appears that the user did not use the proper format. When I click the button on the error window, my cursor is sent to the second textbox instead of remaining in the first.
Secondly: This is a similar problem.....Again I have two textboxes that have the same name...for the same reason. I have javascript attached to the first that will display an error if it is left blank and then uses a setFocus() to place the cursor back into the textbox. When the first textbox is left blank and triggers the error, the cursor is then forced to the second textbox of the same name.
Does anyone know what I need to do in order to have the cursor remain in the first textbox?

For your first question, I think that's normal, though I suppose it could be considered a bug. The focus gets set to the first widget (#0).
For #2, when you use the getField method, you can specify a particular widget. For example, if you have two widgets of a field named "text1", you can do:
// Set focus to first widget (#0)
getField("text1.0").setFocus();
// Set focus to second widget (#1)
getField("text1.1").setFocus();

HELP: Syncing 8310 with outlook: the names in outlook are in different fields on the balckberry

After syncing my blackberry to my computer the contacts on my blackberry changed the information. It cut off names and put some in last names and lists by the spontaneously created last name. It looks like it does this when there is a space in the name. I can’t find the phone numbers I need like this. How can I fix this??

It appears that the Handheld Contacts Database is corrupt.
Using Desktop manager, Backup/Restore - Advanced, clear the Contacts database.
If the contacts/Address Book database is greyed out, then whilst the phone is still connected and on that screen, use the phone and goto Options Advanced Options Service Books and Delete the Desktop[Sync] service book.
Then in Desktop Manager click Refresh.
Now delete the Contacts Database.
Exit Desktop manager and unplug the phone and confirm the handset has No contacts.
Now goto the PC and confirm the outlook contacts ARE valid and havent been messed up. If they have then you'll have to fix them at this point, manually.
Then plug the phone back into your PC and resycn the contact list to get the correct database back.
