A great idea for the Live Chat and Website!

My idea is -
Invest some time to educate the BT.com website staff to type the correct information on the website or take a lesson on the 'BT Data Protection Policy'.
I just wasted 30 minutes of life beacuse of total **bleep** up.
The BT website states this:
You can chat to one of our advisors who will let you know your account number online.
At this address:  https://www.bt.com/appsyouraccount/secure/ebilling​.do# 
But this is the conversation you get after wasting 30 minutes of your time:

 Vaseem : Thank you. Please give me a minute, while I check the details for you.
 Vaseem : I am afraid that we are not supposed to give the BT account number over the phone/e-mail or chat due to data protection policy. However, I will arrange a copy of bill with free of charge to your billing address where you can find your account number.Is that fine for you David?

 David xxxx: well thanks Vaseem. You now need to go tell your manager that your website is leading people to you to get their account number which is directly contradicting your 'BT Policy'
 Vaseem : I agree with you David, this is completely misleading as we on chat are strictly not authorised to provide account numbers. We are allowed to provide the account number only via a method of sending you a copy bill therefore the link guides you to us.
 Vaseem : I have let my manager know about this and we will write to the bt.com team to get this fixed for you.
To top it off I cant even find where to complain by email. I have to either phone or write a letter. 
THANK YOU BT - lets see how long this post stays online for - this will probably be ignored anyway.

  • Great Feedback for the G5 iMac and Apple

    My father recently went with a group of people to the Rotary Centennial Conference in Chicargo, and us being from New Zealand this was quite a major trip for their club. About 10 of them went and all took their own photos, but when they got back a they wanted to combine a selection of their own photos and other peoples and all talk about different aspects of the trip at a special meeting the had with all the members of the club.
    You might be wondering were the iMac comes in, well the were all PC users and not very good with them anyway so my dad rang me up and asked if I could come and help them. So I thought this would be a great opportunity to show a bunch of rich people frustrated with the PC how great an Apple is. So I picked up my G5 iMac with just the mouse and keyboard and headed round there.
    Well it would be an understatement to say that they were amazed with not only the computer but how easily I imported all the photos into iPhoto then gave everyone there own album so they could just drag the photos they wanted into it then order them, plus just setup a basic automator workflow which instantly put all the photos in order into a PowerPoint Presentation.
    Well down Apple! I had at every amazed with your technology!

    Certainly the eyeTV 1.x software doesn't work and there are issues with eyeTV 2.
    Though eyeTV 2's system requirements say Intel it is not a universal application and there are issues.

    Ever since Apple released the Intel Mac development platform in 2005, Elgato has been porting the EyeTV software over to the new processor and system. It uses so much of the PowerPC platform to get the best performance (like AltiVec instructions), that the transition was far from trivial.
    EyeTV has some issues with the Rosetta emulation environment, but will run smoothly once the entire application is a Universal Binary. We are in the final stages of this process and are working on the final tweaks so that EyeTV 2 software will be as perfect as possible for all new Intel Macs.
    Thus, the free update for Intel Mac support will soon come to all current and future EyeTV 2 software users, via the normal downloadable update. No hardware update is needed, just the new EyeTV 2 software update coming soon.

    Yes Photoshop is not designed to be a layout  Application, a Web design application or an illustrator or etc .   Photoshop was design for processing Photos. Over the years  Photosop has had many features added.  While you can do some layout and use some vector graphics. Photoshop is still an image processor if not the best one of the best. Photoshop can also ready files for other types of applications.   Use a proper tool for the job at hand. Would you use Skitch to process an image? Photoshop is not Adobe's only product so  I think your statement about Adobe being ignorance of the customers needs is off base.  Adobe may be obnoxioust and ignore customers need in the pursuit of money.

    Instead of swipe to the left to get to the last screen of apps in the iphone or ipad, would it be nicer to have like the mac to have in each corner a screen for apps.  So an example would be upper left conner all your education apps, lower left all the business apps, upper right all the games and lower right all the media and others! Then using the home bottom to get to the main screen. Then you still have left and right with 2 screen on each side for other things. A total of 8 screen with an easy access from the home screen. Not having to swipe all the way down to 9 to try to find witch screen have the app you need.

    This is the situation.
    My 2-year contract ended on 1-15-2015, and I ordered a new device iphone 6 plus (64G) on 1-13-2015 and selected Edge plan (I line, 1GB data, unlimited call and message from 1-15-2015, totally price $80/ month). I had a live chat with a lady and a man, and also confirmed it with call. 
    Now I found that the bill became $183 !!!  6GB data is stead of 1GB. The stupid thing is that I paid the same amount ($183) last month as I thought first month charged more because of handing fee.... Now this month It also 183. So I contact with LIVE chat person and ask them to check the LIVE CHAT record to compensate the losses. They told me that they can't enter the record and can't make this remedy. 
    So, why do I need take resposible for this mistake? Why do I need pay $200 more? Why can't your guys see the record and find the evidences? Actually I only use 20% data of 1GB, why you HELP me order 6GB?

    How come although iPads are getting more powerful, the iOS apps from apple are so mediocre and just not that great? We spend all this money for the latest ipad and all we get is these $5 video and music apps from apple. Why create the iOS platform and only offer so so apps like IMovie and GarageBand ? While other developers are offering much better apps like pinnacle studio for video, Cubasis and Auria for music production, apple has not showed much growth in terms of innovation. While there's nothing wrong with making an app like GarageBand where "anyone " can make a song, how about something for real musicians or an app not so basic as it get for video editing? After spending 0ver $700 on an ipad I'd be willing to spend more than $5 for a better video or audio app.

    First, try a system reset although I can't give you any confidence.  It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
    Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo.  Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears.  You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
    If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore.  Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset.  It could take well over an hour!  Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync.  From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab.  Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup.  You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod.  Again, say "yes."
    At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod.  As before, say "yes."  Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time.  If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device.  Corrective action is simple -  choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
    If you're unable to do the Restore, go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here.

    When you connect your iPad or iPod to the Mac, click on the device name in iTunes - don't click on the arrow on the device. Then click on the Music tab in the main window pane. Now you should see 'Sync Music' and all your playlists, artists and albums. Here you mark the checkboxes for what should be synced.
