"A.swf" on level 0 to a "B.swf" on level 1 with an "gotoAndStop(5)????

Has enybody an idea, how i can refer from a flash "A.swf" on level 0 to a "B.swf" on level 1 with an "gotoAndStop(5). I tried it with:
loadMovieNum("B.swf", 9), gotoAndStop(5);
and other variations. It didn´t work anytime. Has anybody an idea how it can work?

If you are trying to tell the B swf to gotoAndStop(5) after it has loaded, you need to wait until it has loaded and you need to target it as well. Look into using the MovieClipLoader class. If you look at the MovieClipLoader.addListener section of the help documents it provides an example of how to listen for completion of loading. After loading you need to target the loaded movie... just using gotoAndStop(5) alone is tagerting whatever timeline that code is in, not any specific object.

In the sidebar region of One Level Tabs with Sidebar., I am using LIST, so when I clicked the " show edit links" of LIST region, it's using template as Navigation Region. Then I did the following modification.

Data level Security with Oracle Apps as Source

Hi all
I am implementing Data level Security with Apps as Source(OLTP) on Single Sign On.(Oracle has provided the Vanila rpd & we are working on that)
I need to Filter data based on Business Group, Users are created in Apps and they are registered with some Responsibilities.
(for eg, OBI User CHINA is a Responsibility; Now he will get only Business Group ID for China)
I have created Groups in rpd with same name as the responsibility in Apps.
I have created Initialization Blocks from which I m getting only 1 business group ID for every :USER.(I tried the code in TOAD & I m getting the correct BG ID)
I have created Group in WEB with the same name as the Group name in rpd.
If I say show all Users and Groups in WEB, I m getting the APPS Users.
I hv Reloaded the server metadata files and restarted the BI Server/WEB Server also...
But in the Report, I m getting all the Business Group Ids,
Plz advice if I m doing something wrong.

You need to be creating your "business groups" as a group in the RPD, init blocks to retrieve the user business group at login. Filters in the Logical table sources to restrict data to relevant business groups only.
Presentation 'Web Cat' groups with the same name as the RPD groups so a user inherits membership automatically.
I'd suggest sourcing a vanilla OBIA rpd to see how it is implemented out of the box.

Can I complete level 5 with Photoshop CS5?

Not so much a question as a bug report. In Photoshop CS5, lesson number 5 (straighten a photo) doesn't work. The mechanism works (get the ruler and choose 'straighten'), but it doesn't detect that you have completed it because the button in CS6 is named "straighten layer" rather than "straighten". Works fine with the CS6 trial. I'm user "John Hattan", email [email protected] if you need more particulars.

Issue 1 :- Select the SWF file in library, right click, and
select update.
Issue 2 :- Actually it could be valid for Issue 1 also. It
seems like SWF file you are trying to import, does some action
like, importing another swf or connecting to server on the first
frame itself. Captivate will try to play the first frame of SWF
when you import them. Try creating a keyframe with the stop action
as the first frame in your SWF, and see if you still have the
issue.
Issue 3 :- The approach I am mentioning over here is
generally the last approach which I will take in such scenerios,
but since you have already experimented a little, so try this.
Go to C:\Documents and Settings\<user name>\Application
Data\Adobe\Adobe Captivate
Rename captivate_v20.dat as captivate_v20_org.dat.
Restart Captivate Application.

Pl sql row level locking with wait ?

I am using oracle 10g.
I am new to Oracle locks. I have two tables Table1(id_no, employee, salary) and Table2(id_no, employee, salary).
I need to pull any requested row from Table1 into Table2 only once on demand. I have a procedure to pull data and there could be more than one requests try to call same procedure to pull a row from Table1 into Table2 at any given time.
I coded below to achieve row level lock. if one transaction gets row level lock on Table1 at 2, so other Transactions should wait till the lock is released at line 2 or 5 to avoid duplicates.
But below code is not working, I am getting duplicates when I call this using two concurrent java threads.
How do I control this concurrency issue so that I can avoid duplicate entries in Table2. Could any one please help?

Welcome to the forums and welcome to Oracle.
Lets establish one thing right from the beginning ... the Oracle Database is not a Microsoft product.
There is no general reason to use row level locks, you should not want to use row level locks, you don't need row level locks, and you will almost never have any valid reason to consider row level locks.
That said there are two situations were it may be necessary to lock a row prior to an update or delete (possibly in a merge) and in those cases you want to use the built-in SELECT FOR UPDATE syntax. (Demo here: http://www.morganslibrary.org/reference/deadlocks.html#dlfu). But we should be clear here ... one rarely needs to use this locking mechanism as the chances of a collision in a well designed application are essentially zero.
Also as you are new to Oracle please explore the dynamic performance view V$RESERVED_WORDS and do not name objects, columns, etc. with reserved word names not that there is an excuse in any product to name a column "ID." Something Joe Celko has railed about for decades and a tradition I think we should all follow.
In the case of your posted code example (btw please read the FAQ and learn how to use tags) the solution is SELECT FOR UPDATE if locking can be justified which is unlikely.

Inserting old swf into new fla with different frame rate

Hi, I'm trying to insert an old banner ad into a new Flash site. The problem is, the banner I made at 20 frames per second, and the Flash site is set to 41, so it literally plays the banner twice as fast. Any ideas as to what I can do about this? Thank you.

A few of them I may have the original source files on disk. Do you know what's the easiest way to transpose them to the higher frame rate?
For the ones I don't have, I should open the swf file in the new site and add a frame between each already existing frame?
Yes I imported the swf, I'm kind of just finding my way around Flash and I don't know how to load them dynamically. If I did load them dynamically, would they play at their original frame rate?

When I click on button, the url was find an open in another window.
Is it possible to open this second url in the same window?
If yes How.
I think this information is in the swf file and not in html.(How modify the swf code?)

Okay, I found the code but I can't get it to work locally. If you have a web server maybe you can upload the files (swf and html) after you Publish them:

you have to have on the stage a link element called "testlink" (see the code above) which would be a Movie Clip with the label testlink. It can be anything from InDesign: a button, a rectangle, a circle, a graphic, you get the idea. Just select that object in Flash and label it testlink or anything you choose but if you change the name from testlink also change the name in the code snippet where the line "addEventListener" is.

Collective Planned orders Scheduling for lower level orders with reference to the Superior order

Hi All,
Collective planned order scheduling.
I have been trying to reschedule the superior planned order and i was expecting the lower level planned orders to reschedule based on the superior planned order.
My problem is
when i try to reschedule the superior planned order the system is not rescheduling the lower level planned orders.
For example if i change the basic finish date of superior planned order as 30/09/2014 and reschedule the planned order it is only scheduling the header planned order and the lower level planned order is not scheduling.
Could some one tell me why this is not happenning at planned order level.
As the rescheduling of collective order will work at production order level but for some reason it is not happening at planned order level(as there is no option available to do so).
Please give your thoughts on this asap.

Please observe that your system is working as designed. Planned orders are scheduled independently, even when they are part of a network/collective order. Note 152319 explains the planned order scheduling in detail and it provides the following information:
* No scheduling of overall networks is executed although a directly manufactured component is assigned.
Note that no scheduling of the overall network is executed for planned orders. For the components requirements dates are determined. In order to cover them, planned orders are created in the next MRP run. Since the requirements are not managed using the exact time, the results of the planned order scheduling and of a scheduling of the overall network of the converted collective order can differ.

Row level security with session variables, not a best practice?

We are about to implement row level security in our BI project using OBIEE, and the solution we found most convenient for our requirement was to use session variables with initalization blocks.
The problem is that this method is listed as a "non best practice" in the Oracle documentation.
Alternative Security Administration Options - 11g Release 1 (11.1.1)
(This appendix describes alternative security administration options included for backward compatibility with upgraded systems and are not considered a best practice.)
Managing Session Variables
System session variables obtain their values from initialization blocks and are used to authenticate Oracle Business Intelligence users against external sources such as LDAP servers or database tables. Every active BI Server session generates session variables and initializes them. Each session variable instance can be initialized to a different value. For more information about how session variable and initialization blocks are used by Oracle Business Intelligence, see "Using Variables in the Oracle BI Repository" in Oracle Fusion Middleware Metadata Repository Builder's Guide for Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition.
How confusing... what is the best practice then?

authenticating / authorizing part is take care by weblogic and then USER variable initialized and you may use it for any initblocks for security.
Init block for authenticating / authorizing and session variables are different, i guess you are mixing both.

Are Adobe Captivate swf files not compatible with IE8 or IE9 when inserted into RoboHelp projects?

I've published Adobe Captivate swf files and then inserted them into my RoboHelp project. I then synced my RoboHelp project with our website and the videos within online help are not functioning in IE8 or IE9. They are only working in IE11.

Hi there
When a SWF plays in IE, it uses the Flash Player ActiveX control. I'm not 100% sure that different versions of IE would share the install. So if you have one version of IE on your machine, perhaps it either doesn't even have the control added in or it's the wrong version.
One thing I would check in the browsers where the content seems to be missing is to right-click the blank area and see if you coax a Flash pop similar to below:
Then note the version number.
You may find that all that you (or others) need to do is ensure you have at least a specific version of the player/add-in installed.
