A VoiceXML error occurred of type "error.badfetch"
Hello,
I have a CVP application that contains a Form Element. This application is deployed 2 CVP Call/VXML servers which are redundant.
In the Application Error Log of only sideA, I can see the error: A VoiceXML error occurred of type "error.badfetch"
This error is occurring for some callers on sideA and not happening at all for any caller on sideB.
Related error in C:\Cisco\CVP\ is the following:
6189849: <CVP Server1>: Jan 26 2012 11:05:21.539 +0200: %CVP_8_0_IVR-3-CALL_ERROR: RunScript Error from <VoiceGateway1> [CVP_BAD_FETCH(45)] CALLGUID: 19428EB5100001353BFF9E7D53EF37A5 DNIS=85555555554392 {VRUScriptName: 'GS,Server,V' ConfigParam: ''} [id:3023]

(Client: <VoiceGateway1>) [id:3023]
The audio prompts related to this Form Element are all in their correct locations and also loaded in both Voice Gateway's cache.
I have tried to restart the CVP Call/VXML server but this did not solve the problem.
Any suggestion is highly appreciated.
Thanks,
Justine.
Hi Justine,
Thanks for your reply.
In fact, in my case and since I have an upgraded CVP CALL/VXML server from 4.1 to 8.0, i had to transfer the new "GW Download.tar" file to the VXML gateways' flash using CLI command : archive tar /xtract tftp:///GW_Downloads.tar /
Then, I had to load files into IOS memory for each CVP service on the VXML Gateways suing the following CLI commands:
call application voice load cvperror
call application voice load cvp-survivability
call application voice load new-call
call application voice load ringtone
call application voice load bootstrap
call application voice load handoff
Thanks again.
Regards.
Wajih.

please export your datastore as ATL and send it to support. Somehow the internal language around configurations got corrupted - never seen before.

RFC Call Error - from Portal End - For ESS Personal Information service
Hi,
I am getting "Syntax error in program SAPLHRXSS_PER_MAC ., error key: RFC_ERROR_SYSTEM_FAILURE " error Message on the portal (ESS--->Personal Information Screen).
When I did RFC trace analysis (using ST 22) this is what i get.
Can you let me know what could be the issue.
We are running HR Backend(Support Pack 15,ecc 5.0).
Portal (EP 6.0 SP19, ESS 100 (SP 10)).
Could you please let me know what could be the issue ?
Syntax error in program "SAPLHRXSS_PER_MAC ".
What happened?
Error in ABAP application program.
The current ABAP program "SAPMSSY1" had to be terminated because one of the
statements could not be executed.
This is probably due to an error in the ABAP program.
In program "SAPLHRXSS_PER_MAC ", the following syntax error occurred
in the Include "IF_HRPA_PERNR_INFTY_XSS=======IU " in line 114:
"The type "HRXSS_PER_SUPPLD_SUBTY_INFO_T" is unknown."
Author and last person to change the Include are:
Author "SAP "
Last changed by "C5069405 "
What can you do?
Please eliminate the error by performing a syntax check
(or an extended program check) on the program "SAPLHRXSS_PER_MAC ".
You can also perform the syntax check from the ABAP/4 Editor.
If the problem persists, proceed as follows:
Print out the error message (using the "Print" function)
and make a note of the actions and input that caused the
error.
To resolve the problem, contact your SAP system administrator.
You can use transaction ST22 (ABAP Dump Analysis) to view and administer
termination messages, especially those beyond their normal deletion
date.
is especially useful if you want to keep a particular message.
Error analysis
In program "SAPLHRXSS_PER_MAC ", the following syntax error occurred:
"The type "HRXSS_PER_SUPPLD_SUBTY_INFO_T" is unknown."
How to correct the error
Probably the only way to eliminate the error is to correct the program.
If you cannot solve the problem yourself and you wish to send
an error message to SAP, include the following documents:
1. A printout of the problem description (short dump)
To obtain this, select in the current display "System->List->
Save->Local File (unconverted)".
2. A suitable printout of the system log
To obtain this, call the system log through transaction SM21.
Limit the time interval to 10 minutes before and 5 minutes
after the short dump. In the display, then select the function
"System->List->Save->Local File (unconverted)".
3. If the programs are your own programs or modified SAP programs,
supply the source code.
To do this, select the Editor function "Further Utilities->
Upload/Download->Download".
4. Details regarding the conditions under which the error occurred
or which actions and input led to the error.

Error declarations for error reporting to the Client
Hi,
I am trying to standardize the error reporting from PL/SQL for our project.
I created a package to define these errors and want to declare them as constants.
Unfortunately i'm running into some restrictions.
Option1:
Declare the ErrCd as a constant (-20000 To -20999) and then use an associative array with the ErrCd as index and the text as the value.
Option 2:
Declare a Record type with the ErrCd and ErrText as fields. Associate the errormessage with a position eg errIdx := 1; This will then be the position in the nested table. The procedures will then reference the correct errorRec through the ErrIdx.
The problem is that i want to do all this in the package spec. I don't want to work through a function to first build up the table and then return the correct error record etc.
I cannot build the associative array in the declaration since it doesn't have a constructor.
Nested tables seemed like the one to use since i could build up its content through its constructor. But i cannot construct the errRecord in a similar way.
SUBTYPE ErrIdxType IS INTEGER;
SUBTYPE ErrCdType IS INTEGER;
SUBTYPE ErrTxtType IS VARCHAR2(300);
ERR_CD_BASE CONSTANT ErrCdType := -19999;
ERR_CD_MAX CONSTANT ErrCdType := -20999;
TYPE ERR_REC IS RECORD
errCd ErrCdType,
errTxt ErrTxtType
-- Error 1 tester
ERR_ERR1_IDX CONSTANT ErrIdxType := 1;
ERR_ERR1_CD CONSTANT ErrCdType := ERR_CD_BASE - ERR_ERR1_IDX;
ERR_ERR1_TXT CONSTANT ErrTxtType := 'Error ERR1 occured.';
-- Error 2 tester
ERR_ERR2_IDX CONSTANT ErrIdxType := 2;
ERR_ERR2_CD CONSTANT ErrCdType := ERR_CD_BASE - ERR_ERR2_IDX;
ERR_ERR2_TXT CONSTANT ErrTxtType := 'Error ERR2 occured.';
TYPE ErrTableType IS TABLE OF ERR_REC;
errTable ErrTableType :=
ErrTableType
ERR_REC(ERR_ERR1_CD, ERR_ERR1_TXT),
ERR_REC(ERR_ERR2_CD, ERR_ERR2_TXT)
);I suppose the java still has a strong grip on me here.
What is the correct way to manage these error definitions?
Since i am trying to establish the error/exception handling strategy for the project i would also greatly appreciate a couple of pointers to examples/packages/docs on the error /exception reporting mechanisms available.
Thanks
BuksThat looks like data to me. Now if only PL/SQL had some kind of a database that came with it so you put that data in a table ;)
Error messages change and so are not good candidates for constants. What you could find useful to declare in a package is some exceptions. You will find more about them in the PL/SQL Guide.
You should also check this series of Oracle Magazine articles written by Steven Feuerstein (Whom God Preserve).

Error while running forge post Endeca integration with ATG
Hi All,
We have integrated Endeca application with ATG and then tried running the Endeca baseline update script. However the script failed with the below error message

We checked the physical location of forge output and found that there is no file called 'ATGSample.dimensions.xml '
However, when we manually placed this file in the forge output folder and ran dgidx alone, the baseline update failed with the below error

Is that how you've configured your record adapter? This configuration then collides with Forge XML config files merged into the same data/processing directory.
From memory there's a couple of solutions for this - one might be to give the files a common name prefix if that's feasible, e.g. _data*.xml. You could use a sub-directory to separate the files, but you'd need to modify your copy scripts. -
Error while running forge - Could not open DTD file
Hi,
I have a simple application created in Endeca,facing below error when I run baseline_update.sh
FATAL 09/04/13 22:26:42.491 UTC (1378333602491) FORGE {baseline}: Error in file 'file:///../../endeca/apps/Sample/data/processing/Sample.analytics_config.xml' (line 2, char 58): An exception occurred! Type:RuntimeException, Message:Could not open DTD file 'file:///../../endeca/apps/Sample/data/processing/analytics_config.dtd'.
Initially Forge was running error free, only changes we made were :
1. Ingesting multiple XML files.
2. Changed match mode of dimensions to Autogen
Forge is unable to open any of the DTD files, for testing removed DTD reference line from Sample.analytics_config.xml.
Forge fails again " FORGE {baseline}: Error in file 'file:///../../endeca/apps/Sample/data/processing/Sample.cral_profile.xml...................................."

Error while Posting to Accounting
Hello Experts,
When I execute PC00_M99_CIPE for Posting to Accounting an error occured "Document Type is not permitted".
Payroll Status is EXIT Payroll in Control Record.
Please guide.
Regards,
RajeshHi mohan, Thanks for your reply.
As you suggested we are maintaining Document Type "AB" which has worked fine for previous all payroll postings.
And FI module has also maintained the same.Do I need to change it to PY even then?
As you said to execute the Program RPCIPE01 instead, I did the same but again the system is throwing an error : "Country grouping from posting variant SAP is not permitted". Where to fix this problem in the system.
Please guide.
Rajesh

Hi all,
Just a heads up to anyone else who encounters this error when installing device firmware cop files onto CUCM.
We were upgrading the firmware on our CUCM cluster (small - consists of 1 x Publisher and 1 x Subscriber) - running 8.0.2.40000-1
I was installing:
cmterm-7936-sccp.3-3-21.cop.sgn
cmterm-7937-1-4-4-SCCP.cop.sgn
cmterm-7941_7961-sccp.9-3-1SR2-1.cop.sgn
cmterm-7945_7965-sccp.9-3-1SR2-1.cop.sgn
When doing so on the publisher server - it was throwing the following error output (note that the files actually ended up on the TFTP server but devices were not picking up the new firmware):

Failure essentially.
Note that the installation went ahead without issues on the Subscriber servers after we tried on the publisher. I believe this is due to it only copying the files to the TFTP server and not updating the database.
I also noted that the following features vanished from the CUCM Administration GUI (the menus were there but the pages came up blank):
"Enterprise Paramaters"
"Enterprise Phone Configuration"
"Service Parameters" (after selecting "server" & "service" drop down options, nothing was displayed)
Within individual "Phone Configuration" - the entire "Product Specific Configuration Layout" was missing from all devices.
I was also unable to export the 'Cisco Database Installation Service' logs from RTMT - it threw an error to the status bar at the bottom stating "Collection cancelled for node <publisher> due to the error" (and there was no error info output...joy!).
I called in TAC and Roman Kramarski assisted me via WebEx to full resolution of the issue - thanks Roman
After running "run loadxml"
We ran the following command which showed us (after much wizzing by of entries) the list of log files, the 5th or so last file in the list being the log output from the "run loadxml" output -
The command: "file list activelog /cm/trace/dbl/sdi detail date"
Our file in question happened to be called "installdb20140306-230735.log" (like I said, was about 5th from the bottom of the list)
Next we viewed the file:
"file view activelog /cm/trace/dbl/sdi/installdb20140306-230735.log"
In the file, fairly close to the top, it showed the following error message:
"23:07:35.047 | DOMErrorReporter::fatalError *ERROR* Fatal Error at file /usr/local/cm/db/xml/xml/366X_display_instance-fxo_port_gs.xml, line 56, column 22"
This, along with the output of the run loadxml command, indicated that "/usr/local/cm/db/xml/xml/366X_display_instance-fxo_port_gs.xml" file was corrupted or incomplete.
Roman (TAC) then used the Cisco access to root in order to look at the actual file.
It was incomplete - it ended mid closure of a tag:
"<name>OutputAttenuation</n#"
(Instead of "<name>OutputAttenuation</name>" plus a whole bucketload more output.
Luckily I had a fresh install of the exact same version of CUCM just installed on in a dev environment - so Roman was able to get into that one, TFTP the file out, and then TFTP the new file in.
We moved the old corrupt file into another folder (as we renamed it initially and then ran "run loadxml" which produced the error again) - copied the new complete file into the folder - then "run loadxml" ran successfully.
admin:run loadxml
This command is processor intensive, and may take a few minutes to run.
It should only be run on the publisher.
Some services may require a restart afterwards.
This is a CPU intensive command and will take a considerable amount of time to complete. Do you want to continue (y/n)?
Starting loadxml
disablenotify dsn[DSN=ccm_super]
disablenotify rc[0]
xml DSN=ccm_super /usr/local/cm/db/xml/xml
installXml rc[0]
enablenotify dsn[DSN=ccm_super]
enablenotify rc[0]
installdb Success[-x]
loadxml function complete
NOTE that the running of run loadxml did not take that long and didn't cause any outages to my system.
After we did this - the installations went ahead successfully.
After a restart of the TFTP service on each server - firmware upgrades went ahead successfully.
Basically - you can do the initial troubleshooting of checking logs of run loadxml and then pass that detail to Cisco TAC to get them to use root access to copy a fresh version of the file across.
Hope this helps.Hi Thanks for the information, this help me a lot, I have the same issue but with some differences, because when I search the error on the log file, I saw
08/25/2014 06:14:49.911 installdb| DOMErrorReporter::fatalError *ERROR* Fatal Error at file , line 0, column 0
message: An exception occurred! Type:RuntimeException, Message:The primary document entity could not be opened. Id=/usr/local/cm/db/xml/xml/ICS77XX_MRP2XX_display_instance-bri.xml|
08/25/2014 06:14:49.911 installdb|<--DOMErrorReporter::fatalError |
When I search the file I couldn´t find it, so I think this could be because I made a booteable ISO from an upgrade from the Cisco Page, so I go to the production server version 6.1.2 and copied the file missing into my lab and run the command "run loadxml" sucessfully, after that everything works great!
Thanks in advance for your time to post this.

RahulHi
I came accrossed this kind of problems before, when I checked the log, I found almost the same error you mentioned and the BI Preenstation services is not started up.
As my experience, there would be something wrong with the presentation catalog, I changed the catalog to samplesales and it is ok, so I redeploy the specific catalog and then it is ok.
hope this can help.
thanks & regards

Starting of IC WebClient throws an HTTP failure error
When I want to start the IC WebClient with the URL "http://<host>.<domain>:<port>/sap/bc/bsp/sap/crm_ic/default.htm, it is giving me the following error
Error when processing your request

HTTP 500 - Internal Server Error
Your SAP Internet Communication Framework Team
Kindly help me out with this issue.Dear Abdul,
Summary:
<b>555740</b>
The importance of the termination types as part of error processing in the Internet Communication Framework is not clear.
Reason:
When a HTTP/HTTPS request is being processed in the Internet Communication Framework (ICF), the errors that occur are categorized in the form of a termination type.Each termination type describes the way the processed error is analyzed.
RABAX_STATE
either the application or an ABAP runtime has processed an ABAP runtime error.Either the "X" message category was used in the ABAP language element application or an ABAP runtime has generated this error.
Solution:
RABAX_STATE (as well as LEAVE_TO_TX_SPACE, LEAVE_TO_TX)
Additional information on the cause of the termination and, where necessary, the ABAP report involved, is logged in the APAP runtime errors transaction with transaction code ST22.
To reduce workload and improve response times, the ABAP runtime errors are not logged as standard in transaction ST22 in the case of HTTP/HTTPS/SMTP. This behavior is using the profile parameter "rdisp/verbose_level". The initial value of the parameter is "short" (rdisp/verbose_level = short)". To activate the logging of ABAP runtime errors, the profile parameter "rdisp/verbose_level" must be initialized with the value "full" ("rdisp/verbose_level = full"). This profile parameter is a dynamic parameter. It can be maintained in transaction RZ11.
