A77ii focus settings issues

I cannot find an explanation of what happens when I activate these settings:AF Track duration...High Medium LowI am looking at the setting that displays the icon of movie film so I assume it's a video setting. But what is the effect of "high" vs. "low." Does the tracking focus refocus more or less quickly and if so which way on high vs. low? When are the situations to use high and low?Page 36 of the pdf manual says
Sets the duration for AF tracking when shooting movies.
(High/Mid/Low) 
What does that mean? How are these settings meant to be used?LikewiseAF Drive Speed... what does it mean? This one does not display the movie film icon so I guess it does not work in movie mode? If so, what are the uses of fast vs slow? I want to stand about 8 feet in front of the camera and shoot video selfies against a green screen... feet planted and not moving but making hand gestures as I talk into the camera... so, not much motion at all...The settings I have tried so far seem to cause the camera to refocus frequently and thus fade in and out of focus which also seems to adjust the white balance creating an unusable video...I'm using with my A77iiLens Sony 18-135 SAL 18135Mode Dial P Front focus ****** is on C or A.I have tried Focus Area on Center, Wide, Flexible spot and a couple of others without consistent success.I use the view monitor facing forward to frame my video selfie.As I look at the monitor, sometimes the focus indicator shows a green dot, sometimes a blinking green dot by itself and sometimes a set of parentheses (( ))... I cannot find in writing what these mean...For example, on page 25 of the downloadable pdf manual three icons for focus are shown with the cryptic explanation "Focus." I find no mention or page number with explanation of what these mean or what they are telling me.In case anyone at Sony notices this, what would help would be simple declarative sentences such asWhen you see a blinking green dot in the lower left corner of the monitor, it means...A set of green parentheses with nothing inside means...Like wise I need something like,When you chose Track Duration "High," the camera (please, not "product") will change focus frequently (or less frequently, or whatever happens). This is useful when you want to...I don't find it helpful on page 36 to read AF Track Duration

What is 5?I ditched a lifetime of Nikons (since 1964) in favor of this A77ii because I had used a Sony DCR VX2000 and 2100 for my selfie videos and the focus function was perfect.I believe this camera will do great things... however, I do not find adequate explanation of the settings in the manual or elsewhere provided by Sony...###

I took a wide guess that it relates to how quickly it'll refocus on various subjects, had a poke around on Google, and confirmed my suspicions

So basically, AF Track Duration is the amount of time before it decides to refocus again.
For example, put it on low, and if someone works between you and the subject, it'll ignore it for a short period of time. Put it on high, and it'll catch onto the disruptive object.
AF Drive Speed is how fast the autofocus will move, so on low, it'll when it changes focus, it'll move slowly. On high, it'll burst right though, snappy autofocusing, etc.
The green dot, if I remember correctly, relates to image stabilisation. Bracket's means that it detects movement, no brackets means everything's still - I could be wrong - I don't remember.
