I need to convert payslip (in HR-ABAP) to PDF. The payslip is desinged by HR FORM editor.

Convert ABAP Report's Output into PDF Format..
Hello Experts,
I want to convert the outout of an ABAP report to an PDF file. I have succedded in doing the following :
Data statistics -
Number of
Records passed ---4
After executing the program RSTXPDFT4, i can get PDF file saying number of records in the above format...
But i want to have the output of the report in PDF. suppose a list is being displayed in the output olf the ABAP report, i want to save that report in PDF format....

ALV to PDF conversion with a page break
Friends,
I have a need where I need to print ALV in PDF format with a page break. Any advice on how to do this ? Is it possible to print in PDF format in ver ECC 6.0 without using OTF conversion routine ?
I tried to create a new device type PDF got an error in the spool when tried to print ?

Changing the LiveCycle ES4 Launch Pad Output Folder for PDF Conversion
I have an instance of Adobe Live Cycle ES4 on WebSphere installed on a Windows 2008 R2 server. We're leveraging the Launch Pad desktop GUI as a PDF conversion tool for our end users. The document to PDF conversion functionality is working great but the converted PDF files are automatically being stored on the end user's "AcrobatHub" folder. Example: C:\Users\Jsmith\AcrobatHub.

DataMerge output to PDF then high dpi conversion to TIFF
I am new to InDesign and have successfully created an output through InDesigns DataMerge feature which converts the final output to PDF.
Is there anyway to change this to TIFF with high DPI (4000) or a process to convert the PDF to TIFF with similar output. The PDF file only contains text.
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.Export to PDF and then batch convert them in Photoshop. Very easy to do with a Photoshop action and Bridge.

Convert ABAP list output to PDF without spool
Hi All,
We have used the FM 'CONVERT_ABAPSPOOLJOB_2_PDF' to convert the list output to PDF. It creates the spool number in SP01 and PDF is getting generated.
But, in our SAP ECC 6.0 server all spools are redirected to printer by default and get printed because it configured like that. We requested BASIS people to reconfigure but they said no for a single report.
So we need to find the alternate solution to generate the PDF without spool. We have searched in sdn, but didnot get any alternate solution.
Please help us in this regard.

Problem in converting report output to pdf
Hi,
I'm managing to get the spool id and other requirements but could'nt get the output of the program converted to pdf format.When i'm trying to do this i'm getting the pdf format of the functional module which retrievs the header and item records and displays the numbers records in the header and item like for eg. header records 8 and item records 10 this its displaying in the format in which we get our funtional module output when we give some data into it.....
Can any one please tell me how to solve this for ur information i'm using hierarchail squential report with multiple reports in the same report.............

Smart form: Spool to PDF Conversion more than 100 pages.
Hi folks,
I have an issue with Function Module (FM) CONVERT_ABAPSPOOLJOB_2_PDF when the report to be converted has more than 100 pages.....i have explained this scenario as below
We have been using the FM CONVERT_ABAPSPOOLJOB_2_PDF to convert ABAP report to PDF file and then send this via mail using FM SO_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1.....
PDF conversion using FM CONVERT_ABAPSPOOLJOB_2_PDF works well if the number of report pages is less than 100....i.e the table pdf of the FM will contain the output as expected.....
If the report has more than 100 pages, the the FM CONVERT_ABAPSPOOLJOB_2_PDF will schedule the conversion job as a background job and returns with a SY-subrc eq 0 and the table parameter pdf will ne empty.
Could you suggest me a woorkaround in this situtaion...i.e how do I then get the output of the background job
And any process to convert Spool to PDF if having more than 100 pages.

i would suggest you to if pages are more than 100 than you need to send report output to sp01 with spool request number by using fm job_open..job_close..
than from sp01 you can convert pdf by running RSTXPDFT4 in se38.

Hi Experts,
I am using the code form the following link to send a smartform output as PDF attachment. I can able to see the message, but can not open PDF document.

The information should be on my smartform are some text, company logo and a barcode.
With all of these received error: "There was an error opening this document. The file is damaged and could not be repaired."
I tried different ways like only text, text with company logo, text with barcode. I got the following errors:

Automated report/ PDF conversion with AppleScript

I am attempting to PDF a spreadsheet from Dropbox, and email it to a set list of recipients with AppleScript. Much of this I have been able to figure out, but I am having some issues with the PDF conversion. As you can see below, I am still working on sending the xls file, and have not yet been able to get AppleScript to convert a specific tab of the file to aPDF. I expect scheduling to be handled theough crontab.

Send Smartforms Output as pdf Attachment in E-Mail
Hi!
I've searched quite a long time and tried to use different examples I've found in the forum but it doesn't work for me.
I tried to do the following:
Send output of smartforms by mail to a specified e-mail adress. Sometimes there have to be sent 2 pdf's (both are output of smartforms) in one e-mail.
The function to download the output of smartform with FM CONVERT_OTF_2_PDF and GUI_DOWNLOAD works fine for me but I couldn't get the FM SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1 to work.
Can someone give me an example or a description to get from the output of the smartform to the e-mail with attachment?
I'm pretty new to this so it maybe is a very simple question.

PDF conversion with PDF2ID; Hypertext not working when exported back to pdf.
I have done a PDF conversion with PDF2ID, however Hypertext is not working when I exported it back to pdf. I am using the PDF2ID plug-in program to redo all the product booklets for our company as the hypertext did not work when downloaded to any smart phone. All that appeared were blank placeholders in each booklet index page.
According to the PDF2ID people the program plug-in recovers all URLs static and dynamic and bookmarks and local links and suggested I check with Adobe ID5 for help, but Adobe says my $1,000 ID5 is no longer supported and that I should go to the forums.....so here I am.
This is the first time I've even opened my ID5, so I'm a bit lost. Now I need to improve the quality of the PDFs, as we also need to convert all images to TIFF-CMYK in order to have the booklets printed & bound professionally. they tell me ID can do that.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Ugh...in some companies, that is training.
Don't take this the wrong way David, but of course ID can't do anything. PDF2ID conversions can be sketchy in the hands of the experienced. The same can be said of properly preparing matials for print. As Bob has already alluded, you're in an unfair position there. It's not uncommon for "management" types to just throw some sophisticated tools at a need and expect someone to make it work. In order to do what's being asked of you, you'll have to learn a fair bit about InDesign and production. It's too soon to ask about the output when you haven't learned to manage the input. -
Pdf conversion from a non unicode system to a unicode system

I have a BSP application that runs on a unicode system which retrieves data to be output in pdf from a non unicode sap system.
We get the data from the non unicode system through a RFC call and store data in table otfdata type itcoo, then we perform the conversion through the following:

and then perform the hex conversion, but the printout is full of # chars. The good characters are followed by the # char. It looks like the unicode conversion is not good.
