Convert ABAP Report's Output into PDF Format..
Hello Experts,
I want to convert the outout of an ABAP report to an PDF file. I have succedded in doing the following :
Data statistics -
Number of
Records passed ---4
After executing the program RSTXPDFT4, i can get PDF file saying number of records in the above format...
But i want to have the output of the report in PDF. suppose a list is being displayed in the output olf the ABAP report, i want to save that report in PDF format....

Converting sap script output into pdf format?
Hi all,
I have modified the standard purchase order script form MEDRUCK . Now i need to generate the output into pdf format.
This is not only limited to spool requests , But also when the user creates the purchase order and clicks on print or print preview the output should be in pdf format.
Please help on where and what code has to be written for this requirement?

I don't know which is your release, but I don't think it's possible to create a preview in pdf format, but u can create a pdf file instead of the spool and then open it automatically, this is an example:

How to convert Oracle reports previewer output into delimited file if the report has more than 1000 pages.
I tried with previewer option File --> Generate to file --> Delimited file, but the report engine is crashing.Not generating .TXT file.
I observed that this option is not working for more than 400 pages.
I am using Oracle reports 6i version.
Plz suggest me to generate .TXT file from Report previewer.You can specify a delimiter (a character or string of characters) to separate the data (boilerplate or field objects) in your report output in either of the following ways:
On the command line using the DELIMITER keyword.
In the Delimited Output dialog box or DelimitedData Output dialog box (displayed with File > Generate to File > Delimited or File > Generate to File > DelimitedData) in Reports Builder.

Getting error while converting an iview output into pdf format

Converting Smartform in Crycllic languages into PDF format
Hi All,
I have a smart form that needs to be converted into PDF and sent by mail as an attachment.
I have a problem with Cyrillic Languages (Bulgarian).
When i use FM convert OTF to PDF its giving some garbage characters insteading of printing cyrillic letters.
The output is correct when I see the print preview of the smartform.
Please can anyone suggest me in this regard.

Problem with conversion of Vc output into PDF format

In r/3 i created a RFC to get a company detail list.
I am calling this RFC into iview.
outputs of the iview are a char info field called 'REPTNAME' and a table which displays the list.
i have created a button called 'PDF' on a table .
for this button i have written a code like

i am not getting why this is happening.

If your question is about the format spreadsheet, it is not possible from Reports Builder :

Restrictions
It is not possible to generate spreadsheet output directly from Reports Builder. Instead, on the command line, you can run the report using rwrun or Reports Server clients (rwservlet, rwclient, rwcgi), with DESFORMAT=SPREADSHEET. You cannot store DESFORMAT=SPREADSHEET as a system parameter value in the report definition (.rdf file).

Following is the procedure to convert alv output to spool and then it to PDF Format.
After we display the ALV, we can check whether it is running in the background using system field u2018sy-batchu2018. Then,we call an function module named u2018GET_JOB_RUNTIME_INFOu2019 to get the current job information. Then go to spool request table tbtcp to get the spool id.
