ABAP HR - Populating fields on Infotype screen

Hi
I have the foll. requirement.
In Infotype 8 when an employee enters the ANSAL field ie. the value for Annual Salary all the wage types should get populated on their own in the wage type table control in the screen based on the following calulations :
basic pay = 40% of ANSAL
HRA       = 30% of basic. etc.
Please tell me where exactly I should write the code for this calculation and how.

You need to implement use exit EXIT_SAPFP50M_001, (cmod/smod thing)
and code something like this inside:
IF innnn-infty = '0008'.
    call method cl_hr_pnnnn_type_cast=>prelp_to_pnnnn
      exporting
        prelp = innnn
      importing
        pnnnn = wa_p0008.
* Assign the values/calculations here
*  wa_p0008-yourfield = whatever_you_want.   "Change this line
*  wa_p0008-yourfield = whatever_you_want.   "Change this line
*  etc.
*  etc.
    call method cl_hr_pnnnn_type_cast=>pnnnn_to_prelp
      exporting
        pnnnn = wa_p0008
      importing
        prelp = innnn.

    Selection Screen:
    Document Date in Document:  (Mandatory      Select-Option)

    Hi, Everyone .
    We can do that .
    At selection-screen output (code section 13), set "1" to the field REQUIED by using MODIFY SCREEN code .
    (You can get Dynpro number by F1 key or T-cd SE51 )

  • Is it possible to hide the detail for a field in infotype screen for users

    Hi,
    My requirement is that.
    1) For a group of users in IT0002 screen the content of SSN field would be shown as XXXXX where for some users it will show the actual value in PA20,PA30. This is not MOLGA specific, this would be user specific.
    Is it possible to do that. I was trying with the exit ZXPADU01 but not working. I believe T588M will also not work in that case.
    Please suggest on that.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Sandip

    Hi,
    Instead of presenting the SSN as XXXX, you can simply hide the field using screen modifications and feature P0002. The key here is using field group USERG (user group) in the decision tree. The prerequisite is assigning the set of users to a user group (UGR parameter) through SU3. That value will be the return value under USERG in the feature.
    Hope this helps.

    Hi ,

  • OO ABAP having problems retrieving value from screen dropBox field

    Hi,
    I am a new in ABAP, and need some advice.
    I have a class and in its definition I  have class-data: dropBox (same name as in screen) field from the screen. When I create a instance of a class and fill with data dropBox. data is populated properly using F4IF_INT_TABLE_VALUE_REQUEST method. But I can not retrieve the selected value. In screen dropBox field 'conversion exit' is set to ALPHA.
    Tried to do it without a class it works, and I can get data.
    Question is, can I do it using a class the way I explaining at the beginning of discussion.
    Am I missing something?
    Thanks,
    Aivaras

    It is not possible to have screen field attribute and use it. Solved my problem of returning value by increasing the value of Defined length on screen field.

  • Fields missing in Screen 2000 for Infotype 580

    Hi,
    In PA30, when I go to create or change or display mode for an employee in infotype 580, there are only 4 fields shown. There should actually be over 10 fields in the screen. I checked the layout for the screen 2000 of program MP058000 in SE51 and it had all the fields there. In table T588M there was no entry with the module program name MP058000. I created an entry with this program for screen 2000, and chose the radio button Standard ( The first one) for all the fields that were there and still the screen in PA30 has only 4 fields.
    Can anyone please help with this issue?
    Additional Info: When i chose create or change for IT0580 in PA30 for an employee, there was a status message saying screen was modified, and that were i got the table name that i've mentioned above.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Pratheek Bhonsley

    Hi Pratheek,
    Please check the hiring date of employee to whom you are trying to enter and check the employee who joined before this financial year. If i am right, this info type screens are depends on hiring date of employee, if i am right..
    At the same time, Please check the control record period also.

  • Problem in populating field of same name in main & sub screen

    Hi Guys,
    I have a problem in my BDC program where the same field name appear in main screen and subscreen. Everytime i run the BDC program it will only populate to the field in main screen but not in the subscreen.
    Below are the result of my BDC recording: Where PKHD-LGNUM, PKHD-LGTYP and PKHD-LGPLA exist in main screen 0110 and also sub screen.
    SAPMMPKR    0110    X
                           BDC_OKCODE       =SAVE
    <b><i>                       PKHD-LGPLA       KB
                           PKHD-LGNUM       100
                           PKHD-LGTYP       150</i></b>
                           PKHD-BEHAZ       10
                           PKHD-SIGAZ       8
                           PKHD-BEHMG       50
                           BDC_SUBSCR       SAPMMPKR                                0813INCLUDE8XX
                           PKHD-UMLGO       S020
    <b><i>                       PKHD-LGNUM       100
                           PKHD-LGTYP       150
                           PKHD-LGPLA       KB</i></b>
                           BDC_SUBSCR       SAPMMPKR                                0820INCLUDE820
                           BDC_CURSOR       PKHD-KOSTL
                           PKHD-KOSTL       8441
                           BDC_SUBSCR       SAPMMPKR                                0830INCLUDE830
    This is the actual extract from SAP standard recording program, i even re-run the recording and it is not able to populate the value back into the subscreen fields of the same.
    Any one encounter the same problem and solve it? please help me please.
    Many thanks,
    Jay

    The transaction i'm dealing with is PK01, control cycle creation. There is a screen where we specified the control cycle data and there is a subscreen to specify stock transfer location. Problem when both these main and subscreen have fields tied to the same name and structure.
    If the screen fields name are the same, logically the BDC suppose to populate both field at the same time, however in my case the BDC only populate to the one in the main screen while the fields in subscreen are left empty. I have tried to specify the subscreen before populating the screen field, the value just won;t go in. I suspect it is still the problem in specifying the subscreen in populating the BDCDATA. I just dont know how, i have tried every possible way of specifying the subscreen.

  • How to hide OM infotype screen field

    Hello Experts.
    Please let me know how to hide OM infotype Screen field ? i want to hide Percentage field on IT1011.
    I know i can create alternative screen "Z" and hide the field and attach alternative screen to the Module pool.
    Please let me know if i can do this using BADI so there will not be any change to standard.
    Regards,
    Saurabh

    Hi Shiva,
    To get the detail about a table filed you can use DDIF* function module.
    Here in this particular case you can use FM   DDIF_FIELDINFO_GET.
    Pass the table name & field name.
    After executing that FM you can check   DFIES_TAB  in Tables parameter. i t will be having an entry.
    Check for filed name as   KEYFLAG  , if it is not initial ie.  X then supplied filed is Primary Key.
    If KEYFLAG is initial then supplied filed is not a primary key.
    Thanks & Regards

    How do I add an infotype field to an Infotype Screen Control for Infotype 0006. We need to add an additional Field for mobile phones. I have lloked in screen control (V_T588M) with no joy.

    You may copy your current screen into a new screen (e.g. 2099) for MP000600 and add the 2 fields into the element list as well as the screen layout of screen 2099. Then set an appropriate Modification Group 3 to these 2 fields in T588M detail screen for screen 2099. Configure feature P0006 and table T588M to set screen 2099 for molga 16.

  • Infotype Screen Control (T588M) not working for additional fields to contro

    Hi,
    I have a requirement to enhance IT 0002 with fields LNAMR, FNAMR and CNAME. Also field preferred language.
    I have included LNAMR, FNAMR & CNAME as additional fields in the Include Screen 2040 elements, lay editor and maintained table T582c where i have assigned enhancement to the standard screen. These fields are getting displayed in infotype 0002
    But the issue is Infotype Screen Control (T588M) is not working for these fields to control the display or hide.
    Has any of you come across this issue? what could be the reason for this issue? Please suggest ASAP.

  • Process to add  new field to Account screen and update value from R/3...

    We have CRM 7 and just wanted to ask what the process would be to add a new field to the Accounts screen. This field will be a read-only field and we'll source its value from R/3, based on some of the other data entered into the Accounts screen.
    What exactly is involved in this process?.
    I think I can use the new Application Enhancement Tool instead of EEWB to create the new field, but how does one identify which structure/table to change for say the 'Accounts' data, and, where does one place the code which populates this field, and, once the structure has been changed how do I physically add the field to the screen. I should be okay with reaching out to R/3 and populating the data, code-wise, but again wondered if there was anything inbuilt to do this, bearing in mind the closeness and constant access to R/3 from CRM.
    Any help would be much appreciated.

    Edited by: Jason Stratham on Apr 14, 2010 1:11 PM

    Jason,
    If you use EEWB or AET,, there is nothing manual you have to do, the fields will be added to all related tables and structures plus UI too.
    May be sometimes you have to run the UI configration tool to add the field to the UI, again this is just a tool, there is not manual coding required.
    you can enter the value for the fields direclty via UI, BUT if it is a display only field, at the time of save, you have to write couple of line to populate this field ( see set_property( ) method in the context node ).
    Thats it...

    can i create a single search for all these fields and use that for all the I/O fields ?
    elementary search help or collective search help?
    thanks & regards in advance,

    Hi,
    Input Help on the Screen
    Within the Screen Painter, you can define two types of input help:
    1. The FIELD statement with one of the additions VALUES or SELECT.
    2. Linking a search help directly to a screen field.
    If you link a search help directly to a screen field, it overrides the additions of the FIELD
    statement. However, the input check [Page 581] functions of the FIELD statement remain
    unaffected.
    Input Help in Flow Logic
    The following input help methods are obsolete and should not be used. They are still supported
    for compatibility reasons.
    In the screen flow logic, you can specify a value list for a screen field <f> as follows:
    FIELD <f> VALUES (<val1>, <val2>,...).
    The value list contains a series of single values <vali>. The NOT and BETWEEN additions for the
    input check [Page 581] are not appropriate for input help.
    You can also create a value list by accessing a database table as follows:
    FIELD <f> SELECT *
    FROM <dbtab>
    WHERE <k1> = <f1> AND <k2> = <f2> AND...
    In the WHERE condition, the fields of the primary key <ki> of the database table <dbtab> are
    checked against the screen fields <fi>. The WHENEVER addition, used with input checks [Page
    581], is not necessary for input help.
    If you have used a ABAP Dictionary reference for field <f>, the selection and the hit list formatting
    may be affected by any check table attached to the field.
    Attaching a Search Help
    Search helps from the ABAP Dictionary can be attached to a screen field [Ext.]. To do this, enter
    the name of the search help in the corresponding field in the attributes of the screen field in the
    Screen Painter. This assigns the first parameter of the search help to the screen field. It is only
    possible to place a value from the hit list onto the screen.
    Input help on a screen.
    REPORT DEMO_DYNPRO_F4_HELP_DYNPRO MESSAGE-ID AT.
    DATA: CARRIER(3) TYPE C,
    CONNECTION(4) TYPE C.
    CALL SCREEN 100.
    MODULE CANCEL INPUT.
    LEAVE PROGRAM.
    ENDMODULE.
    The next screen (statically defined) for screen 100 is itself. It has the following layout:
    602 April 2001
    Cancel
    Airline
    Flight number
    Screen field with search help
    Input help in the flow logic
    The input fields have been adopted from the program fields CARRIER and
    CONNECTION. The function code of the pushbutton is CANCEL, with function type
    E. The search help DEMO_F4_DE with the search help parameter CARRID is
    assigned to the screen field CARRIER. The search help uses the database table
    SCARR.
    The screen flow logic is as follows:
    PROCESS BEFORE OUTPUT.
    PROCESS AFTER INPUT.
    MODULE CANCEL AT EXIT-COMMAND.
    FIELD CARRIER VALUES ('AA', 'LH').
    FIELD CONNECTION SELECT *
    FROM SPFLI
    WHERE CARRID = CARRIER
    AND CONNID = CONNECTION.
    When the user chooses the input help for the individual fields, the following input
    help is displayed:
      For the Airline field, the search help displays the names of the airlines and places the airline
    code in the input field for the chosen line. If the airline code is not one of those listed in the
    VALUES list of the screen flow logic, the input check triggers an error message in the PAI
    event. So the search help overrides the VALUES addition for the input help, but not for the
    input checks. This is therefore not an appropriate place to use the VALUE addition.
      For the Flight number field, the flow logic displays the selected entries from the database
    table SPFLI and places the selected line in the input field.

  • Field type for Screen Field

    Dear all,
    Actually i want to store Numeric Value with '+' or '-' sign in module pool's Screen Field.
    how can i store that type of data.
    currently i m declared as a decimal type variable.
    but when value is coming with negative sign in internal table. dum error is occured like this...............
    There was a conversion error in the output of fields to the screen.
    The formats of the ABAP output field and the screen field may not match.
    Some field types require more space on the screen than in the ABAP
        program. For example, a date output field on the screen requires two
        more characters than the corresponding field in the ABAP program. When
        the date is displayed on the screen, an error occurs resulting in this
        error message.
    Screen name.............. "ZPPI_SCRAP_RECORD"

        Other data:
    Plz help me

    Hi Anshuman Singh,
    Is there any possiblity to adopt the following logic for your requirement?
    Just declare a character field with length of maximum number of digit you want to input plus one.
    Now input with '+' or '-' sign.
    Before processing this value, check for only numbers except sign.
    Now except that sign, assign or write the remaining value to the temprary varibale for processing.

    R.Nagarajan.
