ABAP Users not reflecting on JAVA Users in portal

Hi ,
the users which i have created in abap is not getting reflecting in java , we are using PI 7.1 EHP1 application .
Kindly help on step by step process .

Concerning the issue, please perform the following steps:
1) Start the SAP NetWeaver Administrator.
2) Choose Operation Management -> Users and Access -> Identity Management .
3) Assign the role LcrAdministrator to the groups SAP_J2EE_ADMIN and SAP_SLD_ADMINISTRATOR.
4) Assign the role LcrUser to the groups SAP_J2EE_GUEST and SAP_SLD_GUEST.

I am not a developer, so pardon me if I misunderstood this question. I thought screens and other repository objects are client independent. That means the change should be evident in all clients without a need to transport.
Is this to do with security by any chance ( though it seems unlikely )? Can the other users see the change in the original client in which the request was made? That should help you determine whether the problem lies with the transport or outside. Also you can check the contents of the transport in SE01 and see if it holds the kind of data that you are expecting it to. I am guessing you have already generated the screen after saving the changes.

Changes in Active Directory not reflected in SharePoint user info

I have change the manager & name in Active directory but it's not reflecting in sharepoint. I found one command
stsadm -o migrateuser
   -oldlogin <domain\name>
   -newlogin <domain\name>
   [-ignoresidhistory]
But i don't want to do one by one i have many users is there any command for migrate all updated user information

The migrateuser command is really only when a user's ID changes. Making changes such as name and manager should still be reflected under the original ID. If the changes doesn't propagate, ensure that your User Profile Service Sync completed successfully.
Check for errors and address any you find. A successful sync will propagate the changes properly.

Webdynpro iview Customization not reflecting to all users

Hi Forum,
In Webdynpro ivew, from Content Administration >> preview >> done some customization by CTRL+Right Click. But when we access that page assigned to a role, customization is reflecting to only that user but not for other users. But we want this customization to be reflected to all users who is accessing that role associated with that webdynpro ivew.
Please help us to resolve this issue

Changes in prompts not reflecting for some users

Good Morning all,
I have changed a number of dashboard prompts in 11.1.1.5 to default to a dynamic repos variable.
The changes are shown on my obiee, and some other users obiee. But some users are not seeing the changes that I have made. i.e. the prompt still defaults to a hardcoded value which was the case before I changed it.
Tried:
-logging in and out
-closing cursors
-removing any saved customizations.
Note I made the changes last week so everyone has logged in and out.
Any ideas why this is happening?

Users have cleared browser caches,
I have cleared obiee cache.
Do you mean clearing the query cache via command line?
Please note that this is dev environment so caching is turned off for obiee.

"create user" not same as creating user from Administration?

I have created users both from scripts and from the Administration pages and am getting different results.
I created a user from a command line script (e.g., "create user <name> identified by <password>"), and then later granted the user all the privileges from the Administration -> Database users -> Manage Users page.
I created a second user from within the Admin pages - this user has all the privileges and works fine.
The user I created from the command line and then granted all privileges (including "DBA" and all explicit privileges) is NOT working correctly.
Specifically:
1. "select ... from ALL_OBJECTS" returns no records. (ALL_TABLES, ALL_INDEXES, and everything else that I try seem to work ok, but in order to see "ALL_OBJECTS", I have to explicitly qualify it with "SYS.ALL_OBJECTS".)
2. When compiling PL/SQL procedures, etc. in that user schema, the built-in packages are not visible unless I explicitly GRANT EXECUTE on each package to the user (from a system account). At that point, they are accessible.
I tried searching the forums for similar topics and didn't find any. I apologize if this is a redundant post, but it is driving me crazy.
Can someone tell me how to make sure the script-created users get all the appropriate rights, and why when they are granted rights from the Admin screens, they still don't appear to have all the rights?
I would strongly prefer not to drop the user account and rebuild it, as there are already 2200 existing objects (tables, procedures, indexes, etc.) in the user account.

Please disregard this post. While investigating another issue, I discovered that the user account from which I had migrated 600+ tables had (for some unknown reason) empty copies of ALL_OBJECTS, USER_INDEXES, and USER_IND_COLUMNS in the user tablespace, so these got copied over with the other valid tables. Having "local" (and empty) copies was causing most of the issues.

Dirsynced user not showing as mail user in Office 365

We have an environment that has a on premise Exchange 2010 SP3 server. We have created the hybrid configuration with Office 365. Directory Synchronization is enabled.
At this point we have some on premise users that are showing "Synced with Active Directory" in the O365 portal, but do not have a mail user.
We are in the midst of performing mailbox migrations to Office 365, and the only way to perform the move to Exchange online is for the user to have a Mail user setup in Contacts on the O365 portal.
Ive seen other forums with the option of Remove-MsolUser and removing from recycle bin then allowing another synchronization from on premise.
Ive also read that Microsoft has helped this situation by doing something to the AD Attributes which they do not go into detail about.
Could someone shed on some light to what could be done to add these users as Mail Users to Office 365 without removing them from Office 365 completely?

I helped a customer some time ago with the same problem and in their case, mailboxes had been created because they gave the synced users an Exchange Online License before they had a working Hybrid configuration setup.
Just deleting licenses did not solve the problem and what I did to solve the problem was:
Get-MsolUser -UserPrincipalName [email protected] | Remove-MsolUser
Get-MsolUser -ReturnDeletedUsers -SearchString
[email protected] | select UserPrincipalName, ObjectId
Remove-MsolUser -RemoveFromRecycleBin -ObjectId 41856197-e306-46c5-9cab-41dddbdafec7

IMac AirPort first user working, second user not and add MacAir user

I'm really struggling to get my Airport working properly i have two users on my iMac, only one is connected to the AirPort and therefore the Time Machine and also a MacAir that needs to be backed up on the Airport for first time and also synch Outlook for Mac archiving

Unfortunately you have discovered a bug. Some suggestions:
1. You can delete the problem collection and re-create it. Please note that you will
lose all data contained in the User Profile Disks, so if there is anything you need you should have each user log on and copy their data to some other safe location such as OneDrive, Dropbox, local client
drive, etc. For example, your users may have saved files in their Documents or other folder under their profile folder (C:\Users\<username>) and these will be lost if you delete the collection.
2. Open an
Azure Support ticket. It may be possible for support to manually fix the issue you are having so that you do not need to recreate the collection. You need to have at least the Developer plan to create a support ticket.
3. Wait for someone from the RemoteApp team to read this thread and investigate the issue.
In the future, until this issue has been resolved, I would advise you to always remove a user account from the RemoteApp user access tab before removing the account from Azure AD.

Custom theme changes are not reflecting after SP upgrade in Portal 7.3

I am facing issue with a custom theme after the upgrade of Portal 7.3 from SP7 to SP12.
The landscape has the integration of Web Dynpro ABAP components in Portal. The custom font color set for the field name is not reflecting, instead it show the font color in blank.

Theme changes not reflecting in Consumer EP7.02 portal.

Hi Experts,
We are in CE7.2(Producer) fedarated with Enterprise portal 7.02. We are using custom theme and modified the font color for disabled field property from #999(grey) to #000000(black) in consumer portal. The changes are not reflecting in consumer portal. We have tried modifying the Master head and its reflecting as expecting. Even after that we cleared the cache and did restart both the servers as well. Still the changes are not reflecting.
Please provide your inputs, it will be great helpful for us.

Assigned t-code are not reflecting to the user

Hi,
I have created a parent role and two derived role from parent.I have assigned these two derived role to the user.These role contains many t-codes.But when i login with the user id one t-code is not executing.Its giving an error that you are not authorized to use this t-code.I tried to add SU 53 to find the cause unfortunately its also giving the same error.I have deleted and addedd,did text comparision from CUA client,used PFUD and SCUL also,still the problem persist.
Please help to overcome the issue.

ITS access with users not defined as dialog users

Hello ,
We have a requirement so that the users accessing HR Machine are restricted and only few of them are defined as dialog users . For the users defined as comunication users in the R3 core , we are now installing ESS - MSS services .
The ITS is needed for reporting , and also is needed for PCR´s functionality . But the ITS is asking for dialog users .
Does anyone know how can we use system or communicatio users ¿? . Or where can we fix the problem .

I have been running my Own test on this.
Any Screen Name on my G4 will show a Red Away Blob. In the Header ang where I have Some Accounts as Buddies in Other Buddy Lists.
This is also true if I log in with yet more Screen Names on my second computer.
I posted an Red Away message asking people to IM me if they could see it as Away.
In two days I had one reply form someone who saw it as Green.
If I set it to the Basic Away Setting the Message became Away but I showed as On Line and Available (Green).
I am currently testing having deleted com.apple.ichat.AIM.plist

User not found when selecting user in SO from the Portal

I have SCSM 2012 R2, and have setup some Service Offerings, Request offerings.
This one is a "generic" Software request,
1. Select user (query)
2. Select software (list)
3. Write in software if not in the list (text)
I have two users so far that are not showing up when you search name in question #1. Though I do find the user account in the CMDB. Also found in AD, and the AD connector seems to be finishing successfully. I checked the configure
prompts section of the RO, and see that is selects all users where lastname is not Null. I checked the CMDB, and both of these users have first, last, and displaynames... SOoOoO not sure whats going on here.
Any ideas?

I have it set to 5000, and should only have about 3500 AD users. But I have 19k users in the CMDB due to the fact that it creates a new user CI from external sources. (When they email in a ticket).
Also, the RO configuration for the query is set to only search user CIs that have a "lastname". So when I search, so far I am not finding any of the external contacts I believe due to the fact that they only have a username set in the CMDB.

Changes to table not reflected in Java query

Hello All!
I'm running Oracle J Developer 11g.
I am quite new to executing .sql commands using Java and so am feeling my way around.
I used the IDE's SQL Worksheet and created some tables in a database.
I also used this SQL Worksheet to populate the tables and verified the contents as well.
Then using Java I wrote some code to issue a Select command to a table, store the contents of the query into
Some Arraylists.. etc. etc..
Anyway I then ran the program and everything seemed to work fine.
Then I ran some sql script to Insert more rows into the table.
When I do a sql query select * command, my new rows are there.
Then I run the Java program and the new rows don't seem to be there???
Now I'm stumped. Am I missing something here?
Please can anyone enlighten me?

conn.setAutoCommit();Its used when you want to work in a transaction. If a connection is in a auto commit mode then all sql stmts will be executed and commited as individual tranasction. Else sql stmts are grouped into a transaction which needs to be commited by a method or rollback.
So, after your transaction completes, do return the auto commit state to true.
