1. Runtime Workbench
The adapters can be checked using Component Montoring>Display ALL button>Adapter Engine--> Communication channel

How/ Where to Monitor XML Messages of Provider Webservice ?

Dear SDNers,
I would like to Monitor XML Messages for Provider Webservice.
I would like to tell upfront that SXM_MONI or SXI_MONITOR in ABAP Stack does not show any Messages.
I have used SOAMANAGER which is the normal Transaction related to doing all things with Webservices. Even here i have found anything Messages.
I could only see Success Messages under Webservice Logs(Webservice Logging and Tracing).
Would like to know how/ where to do i monitor XML Messages for a Provider Webservice ?
The Search around several places could not yield much to me about this Mointoring of Webservices.
A lot of documents talk about Service Provision/ Consumption, Registry, WS-RM etc. but nowhere i could encounter about Monitoring of Webservices.
So the normal links to Webservices documents where documents/ links describe about Service Provision/ Consumption, Registry, WS-RM, Protocols, Security, Transports etc. will not be of much HELP to me here.

Hi Nick,
There is no big difference between synchronous interface monitoring and asynchronous interface monitoring.
Just goto SXMB_MONI, click on inbound message, it will automatically displaying one tab with name response message. Click on that response message to view the message content.
In PI7.1 you can see response message and reqquest message in RWB. Open the message by click on that, it will automatically dispay request and response messages

Where do I find 'MQ Cluster Monitor' and 'Message Queue Universal Client' ?

This video on mq.dev.java.net uses two utilities called the 'MQ Cluster Monitor' and the 'Message Queue Universal Client'. The narrator says that these are 'shipped with the Message Queue product'.
I dont see the utilities in my Open MQ installation. What am I missing ?

Cluster Monitor can be launched by typing these commands -
     cd /MessageQueue/mq/examples/jmx
     java -classpath /MessageQueue/mq/lib/imqjmx.jar:. MQClusterMonitor
Universal Client can be launched by typing these commands -

Monitor XML-Messages sent by the XIF adapter

Hello to everybody,
I am looking for a possibility to monitor all XML-messages that are sent by the XIF Adapter to external servers. I would like to see the detailed XML messages.
Does there exist anything?

XML messages can be sent to the SAP infrastructure where the XML messages can be mapped in to other XML schemata.CRM business connector communication.IDocs should be used:An IDoc transfer is quicker in comparison to SOAP/XML because the IDoc document contains no metadata information(tags)unlike an XML document ,and therefore ,the size of documents sent down line is substainally smaller in comparison.More information about XIF adapter may be found in the SAPNet vai the alias:crm:ci about the external systems.

Problem in de-queuing xml messages after upgrade to 11g database

We just upgraded from database 10g to 11g. After upgrade we are facing a problem in processing xml messages smaller than 4000 bytes. Messages larger than 4K bytes are handled correctly.
We have Tibco IM/BW adaptors accessing Oracle AQ through JDBC Thin from other platforms than the DB is on.
These clients connect to the database with an application user (XXIO) which belongs to the APPS schema.
The client makes an enqueue to the queue-table XXIO_I00_I_JMS_Q_TABLE and in USER_DATA-part of the message the client specifies some header-information for the message with the actual data.
The enqueue is made with JDBC Thin 11.1.0.7 and with the aqapi.jar/jmscommon.jar-files from the rdbms 11.1.0.7-installation, so the API towards the database is of the correct version.
When the enqueue is done, the message has correctly been put into the table XXIO_I00_RT_I_JMS_Q_TABLE.
Now to the problem,
For example, we have a message that just has been put into the table, and it has a text_len of 3887.
The text-part of the message is put in text_lob, not in text_vc.
The problem now is that when the propagation starts
(execute DBMS_AQADM.ENABLE_PROPAGATION_SCHEDULE(queue_name => 'XXIO.XXIO_I00_RT_I_JMS_Q'),
the code for dequeue and move of the message, assumes that the text is in text_vc when text_len <= 4000 bytes.
Since that's not the case, the message propably gets errored out, and is put in the errorqueue.
The length of the messages that are put into text_lob vary from 2000 and up, so text_vc seems to be used only
for messages below 2000 bytes now. This problem occurred when we upgraded the DB and client API to 11.1.0.7.

Soap-xml messages in runtime workbench monitoring?

soap-xml messages in runtime workbench monitoring? how u montor soap xml message in runtime workbench... thanq/../

All the messages in the RWB are monitored by only one way.
Select the Message montioring and select the filter criterias. like interface name and namespace and all and u can monitor the same.

No show message in monitor for processed XML messages

I get the document 'VALIDANTING A CONNECTION BETWEEN SAP R/3 AND SAP XI WITH RFC' and following the steps until step 9 it's ok but I can execute the step 10 I get 2 problem:
First Problem - I dont know where see the ABAP code STFC_CONNECTION, How do you know?
The Second Problem is the step 11 the system not show message and the documentation show message.
Please Help-me.

But I not see messege in my Monitor.
Other doubt in step 5 the document order to create the RFC_Sender Communication Channel, this configuration have the parameters PROGRAM ID (mandatory), we dont have any idea what input there, Can you Help-me? How can find this parameters? in document we have the exemple INTEGRATION_SERVER.

Sure others will have some other ideas, but here's what I typically do to get the XML from a JMS queue. Inside the Global Automatic that pops the messages off the queue you'd have logic similar to this:
artifactInfoNodes as Any[]
xmlObject as Fuego.Xml.XMLObject = XMLObject()
load xmlObject using xmlText = message.textValue
. . . Once you have this, it's a matter of deciding what you want to do with the message. Most times you'll parse the XML (using XPATH statemens), set argument variables and create a work item instance.

Monitoring Message Queue Propagation

Hello,
When working with Oracle Messaging Gateway sometimes it happens that gateway status is running en the agent is reachable (so all is good), but no messages are propagated to subscribers. How can we monitor that message propagation is still working. Is there tooling or scripts for this?

I'm having some trouble implementing a XML Message Body Selector in an automated task. I'm running OSM 7.2.0.7 in a Unix environment and using Design Studio 7.2.1.

Could you confirm on below:
1 ) Are you using multiple automation plug-in external event receivers in the same automation task ?
2 ) And are you having the default Correlation Message property set to 'JSMCorrelationID' in external event receiver?
If your answer for the first question is No, they i would suggest to use Correlation XML Body as
*[local-name() ='Response']/*[local-name()='Header']/*[local-name()='application']
The value of the field(application) in request must match the value of the field in response, in your case it is matching. And you will be reading this correlation id in response processing xquery.

A quick question.
So we are going to go live using Oracle Tuxedo 12.1.1.0 with Distinguished Bulletin Board Liaison and Oracle Tuxedo Message Queue 12.1.1.0 on top of a Virtual Machine (VMWARE) running Oracle Linux 6.2. However we want to know if there are any recommendations or mishaps in which we may face ahead by running Oracle Tuxedo on a virtual machine?
I mean, I am wondering if I have to worry about kernel parameters, virtual machine parameters or any other thing from which could mess up everything.
Another question.
Does oracle also provide virtual machines certification where Oracle tuxedo would run on top of ?

I'm not sure what you mean with Distinguished Bulletin Board Liaison. I'm guessing you mean a clustered or MP configuration? And is it truly a clustered configuration or just a single machine MP configuration?
Regarding configuration, are you using Tuxedo services as well or just Tuxedo Message Queue? The biggest issue related to OS configuration is around IPC resources. If you do a tmloadcf -c on your UBBCONFIG file, it will help you determine the minimum IPC resources required. In general I suggest configuring significantly more resources than the minimum to allow for future changes and for some of the parameters for heavier loads. In particular IPC message queue parameters are heavily dependent upon load. So make sure the maximum message size and queue size are large enough for your anticipated workload. You can monitor them under load using the ipcs command.
We don't certify virtual machine environment but support them as long as the VM vendor assures compatibility, which obviously VMware and Oracle VM both do.

How to find an XML message ID with a wildcard QueueID

Hi,
My scenario is: transfer purchase orders from SAP SRM to marketplace(3rd party system)
The QoS is EOIO, therefore my POs are transferred with Queues but each queue has a leading prefix which are all registered.
The project is already go-live for over 6 months.
I have tried with SXMB_MONI of course, the display of Messages is far too limited(only 2000 messages is allowed to be displayed one time, or, is any way to adjust this?)
And also a table called SXMSPMAST, I searched with a queue id "*3000012345" in the field "QUEUEINT", no result. (3000012345 is the PO number)
Is there any other table to find a certian message by queue id?

do you realy want to search for message id by queue it?
wouldn't it be easier to search with PO number
(which is probably inside the XML message?)
if so then you can use TREX to search inside the XML messages
payload (from XI SP15)
isn't this an easier way?

Hi experts,
In my scenarios, I read data from files in folder A, archive these files to folder B,and outbound to http service(BID). I actived all in my scenarios in ID/IR.
Now I put one file to folder A, and found lots of files in folder B. (add 1 file every second), but I do nothing.
Now I had a try in test configuration. I found a red square in "Receiver Determination"

It's strange I have no message for my scenarios at any time, even I don't find my service/interface name/interface namespace in "Monitor for Processed xml messages" (tcode:sxmb_moni). Of cause, I find nothing in RWB.
