Ability to chnage Withholding field at docuemnt level after payment

please kindly letme know is there any program which can be run to change the document after payment has been done
espeacially if we wish to change a withholding code field.

Dear Sujata,
Why do you want to change the Withholding Tax Code after the payment, i.e after the TDS is deducted.
The TDS must have deducted with the relevent WHt Code as per Vendor Master and already flown to WHT module.
It is against statutory rule. We can not tamper / change anything after the payment is made to vendor (means the WHT is already deducted),
Had you not handed over the check/payment then u can reverse the payment document and invoice as well and do the correct invoice with correct wht code.

Hi experts.

I will use the EEWB method to add new fields at the item level (CRMD_CUSTOMER_I). I believe that these fields will appear in the "customer fields" tab, but this tab isnu2019t displayed inside item details.
Why its can be happen?
Is some config. missed?

Yes. it is possible but you have to take care of in the back end too and how these fields comes and sit in ECC. so that you may need to map in the IDOC or XI data . so that these information must be pssed to ECC and available and accordingly you need to change in purchase order too since all these data will be copied into purchase order too.
for example :- if you add one field in header level /item level of contract
and it must be coppied into Backend contract as well as your next consecutive docuemnt like Purchase order must be taken care. hope you understand now.

Issue while creating a field at header level in CRM 4.0

Hi,
Using transaction EEWB, I tried to add a custom field at the header level to an existing Project. The Project already had an extension created to which I made the modifications i.e. added the field at header level. But, when I tried to generate the changes, I got the following two errors : 1. No task for editing objects can be determined and 2. Creating of BAdi Implementation failed.
Now, when I try to revert back the changes I am not allowed to do so. Please help me as I am new to CRM. Thanks a lot in advance.

Payment term Field at header level

my requirment is while creating sale order the payment term field at header level should be in display mode. or not shown while creating sale order. doesnot want to maintain user exit. or anyone have knowledge of field (of payment term ZTERM ) object ?

Dear Mr. M Yasir Dogar,
To this requirement as Lakhsmi says, to make the Payment term in display mode, without user exit you can do with Tansaction variant SHD0. It actually make a view sort of control.
Steps:
Run T CODE: SHD0
Transaction VA01
Variant ZVA01_VARIANT
create a sales order.
during the process system, records all the details of object involved in the sales order creation.
and it records with the screen number as variant name.
After execution go to details, Go to
Name of screen variant: ZVA01_VARIANT_4440
and in Payment terms VBKD-ZTERM, select Output only (means it will only display the data from master) and others option also will be there like * Invisible, Required.*
Select the appropriate one.
Along with this activity,in the authorization - profile the Variant should be assign to the USERS having T CODE : VA01. This can be done by the Basis team.
We did similar to control the manual entry of Payment terms.

Material master fields on plant level

Yes, it posible:
go to SPRO
Logistics - General-> Material Master->Field Selection->Define Plant-Specific Field Selection and Plant-Specific Screen Selection (OMSA)
see the settings for the plant in field reference - you need a diferent reference to the diferent plants (group together similar plants - all the ones that you want the field to be mandetory should have the same field reference)
now go to OMS9 or OMSR
and set the field as mandetory for the field reference you have made in OMSA

New Field at Item Level

Hi Folks,
We are using BOB web shop in our project. we have a requirement of an additional field at Item Level named 'Order Reason'. This will be a drop down with a set of values, client requirement is that this range of values should be easily maintainable as it keeps changing from time to time.
- Can this be achieved with configuration, i actually researched a bit on 'Subject Profile'. But i am not sure whether it can be configured for item level.
- If done with Customization, i want this drop down to be populated on loading of shopping basket. Which BADI or FM should i use during shopping basket loading that can populate this drop down.
Kindly feel free to suggest any alternative approach too.

Hi Rahul,
From the technical point of view to achieve this you need to write new custom RFC where you will fetch the dropdown items for your new field and send this data as a table to your frontend application.
In the frontend application you need to write one java backend object which will call your RFC and fetch
the dropdown list from backend.
You need to write atleast one business object which will hold your data and will make it available to http session.
You need to write one action which will call your backend java object and make the data available to
the order creation jsp.
You need to modify the config.xml file like below

Than you need to make the changes there in jsp to create a new custom field at item level.
Once you are done with all above you have to send the user selected data back to the backend also.
To save the data to the backend you again have to write one action and make the changes in config.xml

To save the data to the backend you can implement "CRM_ISA_BASKET_ITEMS" BADI and can get the data in "CHANGEITEMS_BEFORE_ORDER"

Disable a field at Item level for SC confirmation Screen

Dear All ,
PLEase help me with a step by step instruction on how to disable field at Item level of confirmation screen of SC .
I tried in Webdynpro component : Web Dynpro Component:/SAPSRM/WDC_DODC_CONF_IBD in se80 and below is what I get ;
When I click on Display it asks me for an access key which I dont have ..
When I click on the enhancement option it asked me to create an implemenation which I did as seen in yellow below and still the enabled field is not getting editable so tha I can uncheck and make the field dissapper .
Please can some one really help me in understanding what exactly I am doing wrong ?
Also Please let me know if the SPRO path related in this to be able to do in any which way ... I tried expanding
Configure field control .. and it doesnt expand so dont know which other option to use ..

1. Thanks for your input . I wasnt able to open the SPRO path coz I was using SAP 720 and when I installed 730 I was able to use it .
2. I am still not able to udnerstand how to configure it through Meta data .. What does Final_Entry mean .. I want to disable the field Last del indicator and its flag box and the label as well ..
3. I tried through component configuration and it worked ..as below :
I went to the webdynpro component and started the component configiurator :
Here I made both the field and Label insisible and was able to do this .
Please can some one help ,me know how to configire this through Meta data concept as well .. I wanted to try that method as well for my understanding ..

RFX Response Header : Fill Display Fields on Header Level

Hi Gurus,
There is a requirement at the client place to add the Display only field for RFx Response Header. Based on this required I have done the following activities.
1. From 'Define Customer Display Fields on Header Level' in SPRO i have appended the ZFIELD in the Response header structure.
2. From 'Configure Control for Fields on Header Level' in SPRO i have made it visible true.
3. From 'Fill Display Fields on Header Level' SPRO i have Enhanced the /SAPSRM/BD_PDO_FE_FILL_HEADER with implementation. And have given required filter criteria. In the implementation Class it has the return parameter as CS_HEADER_DATA. Where i could fill the my ZFIELD.
The field is now displaying in the SRM portal. But the problem is that the ZFIELD is not being filled with any value, even though i supplied it.
Is there any step that is missing to set the value?

Hi,
The main technique is to do your calculations in PAI of the screen for additional data B for the line item but as you said it is accessed only when you goto-> item -> additional dataB
So you can do one more thing...do the calculation in PAI/PBO of the screen first and in userexit_save_document_prepare recalculate again and overwrite the old ones(or calculate for only the ones which are initial in the item) ..so if he goes to additional data B screen you give the user what he wants and if he doesn't userexit_save_document_prepare takes care of it
user can go to additional dataB only a line item at a time so the chance that he takes all the line items one by one is less(for huge number of line items)..so you just calculate and overwrite the fields in the in the userexit if the field value is empty...or you can recalculate for all the cases and overwrite just in case there may be a problem....
in the screen of the additional dataB
Write logic for calculating the field values
so in the userexit you write like
if the fields are initial..
calculate
else
*already calculated from the screen because user has viewed it
endif.
So you are safe that user can see what he wants and you can reassure that the value will be calculated and stored on the SAVE from user exit

Change description of value fields and segment level chars in prod system

1 . We would like to change the description of some value fields.... We would like to know whether the change has to be carried out directly in the production client by opening the client using SCC4 or we should change the description in development client and transport it to production...
We are afraid that if we transport the operating concern again from dev to production system using KE3I, it may affect the transaction data which is already lying in the production system
2. We would also like to create and include some new fields as Segment level characteristics in COPA... What is the proces for the same and whether the same has to be done directly in production or transported from dev client
3. Some value fields which were copied in our operating concern from a template of Air line Industry, are not suitable to oour business. So we are trying to change their description.. But SAP does not allow to change the description of thes value fields..
Only those value fields which were created by us starting from VV***, can be changed.. Description of those delivered from the template, cant be changed. What is the process of doing the same

When the Operating concern was copied from Airline Industry, many standard chars which are not applicable to Airline Industry were not copied.... For eg: Material group 1 to 5... These are std fields of Mat master which normally exist in Operating concern when I used to create it manually.... Many other chars reqd by the business are not available
Someone else copied it using Airline template and many reqd chars are not available at all... I have the option of creating User defined chars for it and write a derivation rule to populate it...
Though COPA is active, my client does not use it as of now in ECC 5.0.. They would like to use it post ECC 6.0.. So, I thought its better to start afresh than carrying forward the mistakes done by someone else.. They are OK with this model, but I wanted to be sure what all issues can be faced due to this

Multiple selection customer field at header level... Is it possible?

Y'all,
I would like to know if it's possible to append a table into the include structure (CUF) at header level in the contract and create a search help screen with multiple selection values return.
This requirement comes because we have to mantain a 1:N relationship between a contract and customer field at header level.

Multiple fields in node level of a ALV tree

Hi gems,
Hope U all doing well.
In a requirement, I have few fields (say 10) to display in hierarchy. There will be 3 fields in 1st level, 3 fields in 2nd level and 4 fields in last level.
I tried using ALV tree...but couldn't able to get any idea to display more than 1 fields in 1st or 2nd level node.
Is it possible through ALV TREE? If yes, then how? I am new to oops. So please give me a bit detailed info.

Hi experts,
we enhanced the BI Content standard DataSource 2LIS_04_P_COMP "Component View from PP/PP-PI" with the field AMGLG (Scrap quantity) per maintenance of the relevant extract structure MC04P_0COM via LBWE:
The enhancement of the extract structure worked fine.
Unfortunately the enhanced field is not filled after the Statistical Setup of the LIS Application 04 "Production" (t/code OLI4BW).
RSA3 -> 2LIS_04_P_COMP:
Any ideas or experiences?
