About document printing

Hi experts,
I'd like to use document printing function in Purchasing-A/P.
I selected document type as A/P invoice, and input the internal number from 4022 to 4023, clicking OK and  then popup a windows shows the 2 invoices. I selected these 2 invoices and click "Print" button.
...then...nothing happened except the "Print" button is disabled. no documents were printed out. my account is manager, so i think that's not the priority problem. what could be the problems?
Thanks...

When I open this particular doc, the scale drop down automatically is set to shrink to fit. If I move the setting to 100% then it redraws the doc slightly too long and chops off the footer of the page.
If I open a different doc, it automatically sets the scale to 100%. However, if I change the scale to shrink to fit, it has the same behavior as the previously mentioned document.
What appears to be going on, is that the firefox pdf rendering utility is not properly handling page that are in landscape mode. Meaning, it is re sizing the entire doc such that landscape pages fit on a portrait page. Rather than change the orientation of the landscape pages to fit on the portrait page.

  • Again about t.code MN05: number of copies of MM documents printed

    Hi all,
by t.code MN05 I can set the number of copies of the MM documents printed the FIRST TIME. I can do it for doc.type or vendor.
In particular, setting for document type, it doesn't work for all range of vendors.
Setting for document type, in the field "PartF" I've put in "OA". Could it depend on it?
    Thanks

  • Scanned document printing too small

    Hi,
I'm using Mac OS X 10.4, Epson 1660 Photo Scanner and Epson TWAIN (via Photoshop). I'm scanning a document for print, yet no matter what dpi I choose, the document prints out very small on my Canon i850 inkjet printer. I've wasted about 10 pages printing out various versions. Any insight!
    Thanks,
    Michelle
PS- if this is the wrong forum for this question and anyone can point me to some good printing/scanning forums on the web, please do so!

Figured it out - missed the "scaling" feature in TWAIN.

  • How to drag out additional field in document printing in B1

    Hi all expert,
My customer need additional field or information to be show at the document printing window in standard B1. Example like customer name or user define field for warehouse.
The standard B1 document printing is limited with the form setting is disable. User wanted additional information like printing status, warehouse(using user define field) , customer name able to show out on the document printing window screen.
Any idea about it? How can i to do it besides using SDK? If using SDK, what is the code i should write?
Can you give some sample code?

    Hi all friends,
My question still un-answered yet. I think i have to clarify here.
What i mentioned is when user go -> Sales A/R -> Document Printing, select A/R Deliveries. A list of A/R Deliveries display in the windows form.
There is only limited field available in the windows form. User now wanted additional field like customer name & warehouse appear also at the document printing form. But the form setting for this windows is dissable.
I know we can done it using the PLD. But..Can we add in the information like customer name & warehouse code in the document printing form before print out. User need this information to control which warehouse A/R deliveries note have to print out. Example we have 10 deliveries order, it may be need delivery order 1,3,5,8 to print out.
Thanks. Hope you guy can help.

  • 'Document Printing' not printing, while single Document prints

    Hi Experts,
I have a client where the AR Invoice prints fine when you select a single invioce to print. But when you use the 'Document Printing' functionality to print multiple Invoices, it is not printing. No errors are displayed.
I anyone know about extra settings or know what I'm missing I would really appreciate some help.
    Thank you!

    Hi Experts!
This problem was very strange... This worked on a Database Backup of a few days before. I do not know  why the Batch Printing was not working, while the single printing was working...
I tested several scenarios, but in the end I saw that the System Print Layouts in PLD was still batch Printing and my Designed PLD was not (On previous DB it was working). I just created the PLD from scratch and now the Batch Printing is working again.
    Thanks for you help!

  • SAP Document Printing

I have a client on SAP Business One 2007 SP00 PL49. In Document Printing if you select Delivery Tickets they do not print. All other document types print. If you open a Delivery Ticket it will print. But if you select the rows or a row from the Document Printing it does not print.
This was working about a week ago. The only thing the client did was to Create BP Groups and assign to BP's.
There is a test database from before they changed the groups and in that database the delivery tickets print.
    Any suggestions?

    business one?
I guess you are better looking for a forum for that. This here is more about R/3 and ERP.

  • Adobe 8.1.2 Windows 2003 - Parts of Document Printing Black

We have an issue that appears to only be showing up on machines running Adobe 8.1.3 (these machines happen to also be running Windows Server 2003).
When we try to print a specific document, the first page of the document prints fine, however, a specific part of the second page prints rather strange. A 'box' on the second page (a third of the width, and about a quarter of the height, at the very top and center of the page) will print mostly all black, and will have two stripes of area that will print fine.
It's very strange. Unfortunately, I cannot scan this document in currently.
When we preview this document via print preview, it previews fine.
When we print it from Windows XP using Adobe 9, it prints fine.
I have seen some known issues with printing from Adobe 8, however, I've not seem any direct references to this issue specifically. Has anyone else?
    Any assistance would be appreciated.
Unfortunately, simply updating these machines to Adobe 9 isn't an option at this time. Hopefully it will be in the future.
Thanks in advance for any information!

I'm getting the same issue on some of the computers at my work.
We're all using Acrobat Standard 8.2.2 and Windows 7.
I'm not 100% whether the files have been created in In Design but they certainly look like they probably have.
Seems like Acrobat 8 (and various updates since) are not very compatible with Windows 7. I've been having plenty of headaches since we upgraded the operating systems 2 weeks ago.

  • Impact on all purchasing documents print when we upgrade from 4.6 to ECC6.0

I came across this below statement about PO print.  What is the impact on all purchasing documents print when we upgrade to ECC6.0 from 4.6c? How to overcome it ??
“It seems the way a PO is printed in 4.6c is somewhat different from the way it prints in ECC 6.0. In 4.6c, it references elements within the PO form (MEDRUCK) which holds the data to print a PO. In the ECC 6.0, it doesn't seem to reference these elements on the PO form and so it must put the data out to the form (MEDRUCK) in a different way. We actually use a customized version of the PO form (ZPO_MEDRUCK) and in our testing of the ECC 6.0 it will not print due to the data is not getting out to the form like it was in the 4.6c version. We are getting errors identifying the data is undefined when the new version in ECC 6.0 has defined this PO data different than the way it was in 4.6c. “

    Hi Venkat,
I think you might have the change the form name in Nace.
Secondly, in you custorm form if you have any routines called then check the declaration-I am stressing on this because when you look at your PO item fields in 4.6c and ECC 6.0 , there are two new fields added -Iam not sure whether this would help you but just check in case .
lET ME KNOW IF YOU HAVE RESOLVED THE ISSUE
    Thanks

  • Document printing wrong colors

These are the steps I followed:1.  drew some pictures on regular paper with colored pencils.2.  scanned the document into the printer.3.  opened the document with Photo Viewer4.  the colors on the screen  looked true to my drawing5.  selected Print from the Menu6.  the Print Preview colors looked true to my drawing7.  the colors on the printed page were NOT true to my drawing:    - the pink colors were true, but the orange printed as dark pink    - the blue colors were true, but the green printed as blue    - the yellow printed as white8. I also opened with Paint and had the same results. I have not changed any settings on the printer.  My old HP printed this drawing fine. This is for my business so I need the colors to be true.

Thank you for your reply. My issue is not one with comparing the color on the monitor with the printed document....I could care less what it looks like on the monitor, so I don't think calibrating my monitor will help the printed document look any better. And, regardless, it looks fine on the monitor. My issue is that the printed document is not the same color as the original document which I scanned in.If I use a colored pencil to draw a picture in orange on a piece of paper, then scan the picture that I drew in orange, I want it to print as orange, not pink. The colors are incorrect no matter what software I use to open the document & print it:  opening with Windows Photo Viewer, opening with Paint, opening with Picasa, etc. I do not understand your comment " I would like you to photocopy the original picture on the Envy 5530".How do I photocopy a document? (I searched the user guide for that term and did not find it.)  How is that different from scanning the document? Why would the printed document look different by photocopying vs. scanning? I am a quality analyst for a software company so I know a little about diagnosing a problem.  One other step I took was to print a picture that I had drawn  and scanned in with my OLD printer/scanner, and it also printed incorrectly. So I think it is some settings in the printer that are causing it. My OLD printer did not have the Color Management feature and it printed correctly.  I do not understand the write-up on the Color Management feature; never-the-less, I have not change anything from the default settings that it was delivered with.  So if the problem is the Color Management feature, then I need to know how to set it for the colors to look exactly like the colors on the document thatI scanned in.  I took a picture of both with my phone and tried to insert to this message so you could see the difference, but the files are too large.

  • All the Pages are Printed - Document Printing Sales Orders

When using the Document Printing option for Sales Orders, if I select multiple documents and select print I get a message after each document that says "All the Pages are Printed", then the next document comes for printing. I also get a prompt each time whether or not to print Sales Order only or Sales Order and Pick List.
I don't have the same issue if printing Invoices from Document Printing. It asks what to print and prints all records without additional prompts between each record. I don't see anything in Print Preferences that would cause the Order to act differently from the Invoice.
    We are using B1 9.0 PL 06.

  • How can i  duplicate a document print layout from one DB to another DB?

    hi experts,

is there any easy way to copy a document layout from a database to another? please advise, thanks a lot.

    Hi,
    There is one more option
1.Open the PLD in the test database
    2.Go to edit-> select all(including hidden fields)
    3.Go to edit->Copy
4.Log off from test system(Administration-Choose company-select live database),log in live database
5.Open the corresponding documents system pld
    6.Go to edit-select all
7.In the properties window uncheck the visible checkbox(Under General tab)
8.Save layout as different name say <Test>
    9.Again open the layout <Test>
10.Go to edit-Paste and save layout.
NB:Don't delete the existing fields, you should only hide them as mentioned in step7

  • Printing from Windows = only the first half of documents print

I'm trying to set up a home print server, to allow access to an HP LaserJet 1005.  It's working OK locally and accessed when printing from another Linux box.  From XP and Vista, however, the first half of multiple-page documents print, and one-page ones don't print at all.  This seems to be the case when using any Windows postscript driver (such as Apple LaserWriter 16/600 PS and HP LaserJet III Postscript Cartridge), and with documents from any program.
I can't see anything obvious in the logs when set to debug, as far as I understand them, they appear to show all pages printing, including the one-page documents which disappear completely.  Whether this show it to be a Cups problem rather than a Windows one, I'd rather not attempt to say!  This is /var/log/cups/error_log when printing a five-page document, in case there's something useful in it which I have missed.

    Are you using Samba?
Firstly a shot in the gloom:  If so, have you tried setting
    use client driver = yes
in smb.conf, under the printers section? Or if it is yes, try no.
The other thing you can try is to stop the file being printed/removed from the spool directory(s), and see where the lost stuff gets lost.
To be honest, I'm not sure where/how you can do this, but I believe that samba will store the file initially in a spool file specified by smb.conf and then Cups will store it somewhere else. Changing the print commands to not print/remove the file from these two points may help identify the loss point.
Can you plug the printer directly into the windows box and see what happens?

I printed a 'preview' document and now it continues to print a never ending set of copies.  I have re-installed the printer software, but it still continues to print more copies.  What do I need to do to stop the document printing?

    Try resetting the printing system.
    1. Open System Preferences > Print & Fax
    2. Move your mouse over the Printers list
    3. Hold down the Control button and click the mouse
    4. Click the "Reset printing system ..." popup
    5. Restart your Mac
This will remove your print queues but not your printer drivers. So you will only need to add your printer queues again.
