About loading resources for localization

Question

Hi all,
I have to let my application to be localized, it requires english, chinese , and japanese. Currently, I have made 2 set of resource strings for a package, res.java, res_ch.java.
I know each dialog have its static ResourceBundle for loading the resource. When I first create the res.java from JBuilder, all dialogs are set to load "res.java" by default. e.g. :
static ResourceBundle res = ResourceBundle.getBundle("Layout.APP.Res");I have some questions to ask:
1. Any requirement for me to rename to translated resource file? for chinese and japanese? res_jp and res_ch ??
2. There will be language selection combo on the first frame dialog, letting user to select language. After I reloaded the resource from first dialog, is it able to let all child dialog to load same resource in future?
Any simply way to do this ? Or I need to pass parameter through each dialog to mention that which resource to be load ?

My midlet has alot of string resources that I want to
be able to easily customize, and I wonder what is the
best way to do this using J2ME? To make the code easy
to localize I would like all strings to reside in a
single file (either a class file or a file system
file). It doesnt seem that there is an easy way to do
this (eg a "resource file" or some such).Perhaps you might want to utilise the MIDP RMS record store feature i.e. javax.microedition.rms.* classes instead to store the string objects.
Do I just need to create a class that defines a bunch of static
final String objects?Declaring the String object variables as static final String objects upfront may help too but cannot be shared between MIDlets in a MIDlet suite though.
