About Reporter Painter,How to remove a selection option ?

Now , I want to copy form 0SAPRATIO-01 (FSI4) to create my form in which i want to remove the standard selection option G/L account ,So how to do ? Could you give me the step in detail ?

 I failed to find the field crresponding to select-option 'G/L Account No.' in the two level you mentioned .
 Take 0SAPRATIO-01 for example , Could you tell me which field should be removed if i want to delete the select-option 'G/L Account No.' in the report screen.
At general data selection of form 0SAPRATIO-01, there are only two fields they are
Fin.Stmt Vers. and Plan./act.
while in the report's select-option ,there are five select-options. Why?

Report Painter: How to change the order of lines in selection screen

Dear Gurus on Report Painter,
how can I change the order of the lines (where the values for the variable selection of my cost center report are entered) in the selection screen of a report painter report? The Selection screen looks awful.
Is there also a possibility to add another description to each line of the selection screen?

I am afraid you have much choice in choosing the order of the selection parameters. However, with the developer's access you may.
This is how!
Step 1: If it is a standard report, copy to your own report. and assign it to a report group. and execute.
Step 2: When you execute, and the selection appears, go to systems>status and here , copy the program name (it may look something like GP46LP6VEDORBSA2IHWYSR4TL58020)
Step3: Go to SE38 and enter the above derived program name with a view to re-arrange the line withing the program, with reference to selection parameters.
For example: I have a selection screen in the following order:
Controlling area
Fiscal Year
From period
To period
Plan version
Cost center group
Or value(s)
Cost element group
Or value(s)
The corresponding program that drives this order is in the program and would look like this,

If you want fiscal year to appear first, you try just copying the coding relating to fiscal year just above the coding for Controlling area.
Extend the same logic for what you may want to get.

Hi Friends,
In BI, How to filter the selection options based on inputs on top field.
The system should automatically filter the lower level drop downs based on the selection of a higher level.
For e.g. :
If a user selects a Country then the States drop down should only display the State's belongs to the Country. Similarly when a State is selected, the District drop down should display only those District's belongs to the State.

How to remove save, cancel option when end user runs the workbook in Portal

Hi,
how to remove save, cancel option when end user runs the workbook and make some small changes like using page items or increasing rows and columns
I already made 2 changes
1) I removed the option in Oracle Enterprise Manager under discoverer viewer of saving
2) I also removed the option of Allow saving changes made in Viewer when adding workbook to portal
But still the end user gets options of saving when made small changes to workbook like increasing rows and columns
Is their any place, I need to make changes?

Don't use JSP to serve a binary file. It almost implies the use of awful scriptlets and the invocation of both the response writer and the response outputstream which would only lead to IllegalStateException headaches in the server logs.
Use a Servlet instead. Specify the file name as request parameter and let the servlet read the file and write it to the outputstream of the response.

there are four radio buttons
for every radiobutton there is corresponding the select_option filed is associated to it
user as only provision select one radio button and reset of the select-option fileds should be hidden
which ever the radio button is selected corresponding the select-options fileld should be displayed

To hide select options you should use interface method REMOVE_SELECTION_SCREEN_ITEM of IF_WD_SELECT_OPTIONS.
Sample code :
Write the below code in the Event handler of Radio Button.
DATA lv_r_helper_class TYPE REF TO if_wd_select_options.
lv_r_helper_class = lo_interfacecontroller->init_selection_screen(
lv_r_helper_Class->REMOVE_SELECTION_SCREEN_ITEM(exporting i_id = 'Select_option1_id1').
This will hide first select option of your screen.Similarly pass select_option_id2 to hide it and so on.

Remove ":" from select option label(description)

Hello All
I have a requirement to remove the select option description (which SAP displays by default from the field label maintained in the data element),
I thought the best way to achieve that requirement is by passing "space" to the parameter 'I_DESCRIPTION' to the method IF_WD_SELECT_OPTIONS->ADD_SELECTION_FIELD, however, it turned out that SAP still displays the label from the data element inspite of passing space(blank) to the parameter 'I_DESCRIPTION', to overcome this limitation I have created a data element without maintaining any labels this approach worked expect that SAP still displays ":"(colon) as the label, is there any way to get rid of this ":" too?
As shown above, ":" is still displayed as the label of the date select option. I'm also looking for a way to reduce the distance between the last radio button and the select option, any pointers would be appreciated.

The RANGES has same structure as that of select-options.

Steps to get SELECT-OPTIONS in module pool programs.
1.Start one dialog program with SAPMZ_001.
Place the below code in the TOP include of the dialog program.
TABLES marc.
SELECTION-SCREEN BEGIN OF SCREEN 3200 AS SUBSCREEN.
SELECT-OPTIONS: werks FOR marc-werks.
SELECTION-SCREEN END OF SCREEN 3200.
2 .Create one screen 3000.
Go to Layout of the screen and Define subscreen area on the screen and Name it as l_subscreen.
Place the below code in the Flow logic of the screen.
PROCESS BEFORE OUTPUT.
CALL SUBSCREEN l_subscreen INCLUDING 'SAPMZ_001' '3200'.
PROCESS AFTER INPUT.
CALL SUBSCREEN l_subscreen.
Activate all.
Create Transaction code for the dialog program .
Execute the transaction code. You will see the select-option for werks how we see on Selection-screen.
