Accepting Incoming Payments for BP on Hold

We have certain BPs that are past due and we would not like to take orders from them. If i put them on hold then i cannot accept an incoming payment from them. In which case every time i try to accept a payment i have to take them off hold and put them back on hold which is a lot of work when you have tonnes of payments coming in. Is there an alternative where i can make sure no one takes an order but atleast they are able to accept an incoming payment without going through this complex process.
Thank you
Chintan

hi chinsut
yes there would be a sp with the name transitional notification u just need to right click and click on modify and at the bottom just write in ur code and execute it this would save ur code in the sp transitional notificatio
and for the code u can check the link given by Godon it would help u in writing a similar code,

  • [Incoming Payments for WTax] Primary Key not exist in DB

While performing the TDS upgrade, I am getting an error message as "[Incoming Payments for WTax] Primary Key not exist in DB".
I have checked that the sheet conforms to the instructions provided in the Upgrade guide but am not able to resolve this.
    Any ideas?
    Regards,
    Gyanesh

    Hi,
It seems to be some field in the TDS upload Excel sheet which has primary key field not having the correct value.
Double check the same where Primary Key if linked with some value in other sheet, enter the same.

  • Query to view no of incoming payments for invoices.

    HI Experts,
I want a query to see all the incoming payments(like payment1  and its cancellation and payment2 and its cancellation due to Bounce of cheque and subsequent new cheque, like that) for particular Invoices.
    For Instances.
Like customer name, code, payment type, due date, cheque amount, check no ,status and such for all payments for the particular Invoice.
Can anyone help me out in this ground.
    Thanks in advance,
    Regards,
    Dwarak.

    Hi Expert,
You are almost near to my Requirement.
    Actually my Client Scenario is,
there are few Customers who will give PDC(Post Dated Cheque) to the Invoice. and that cheque either will be asked to HOLD or Bounce from Bank during maturity.(this is usual with few customers)
and again he will give new cheque1 and again that new cheque might also be bounced and another new cheque2 will be issued.
So, here i want to see a quick list , where i can see Related Payment and its status for that Particular Invoice. This will give the related old cheques and its corresponding new Cheque.
    Examples:
By Giving Invoice NO: 222666(Our Invoice no)
    Its Should List out,
Customer Code - Customer Name - Payment1(with its due date, status, chq no, chq amount)- if its has payment2(and its due date, status, chq no, chq amount)- its should continue with the N number of payments to that Invoice.
    Thanks in Advance, -:)

    Dwarak.

  • Multiple Incoming Payments for the same Invoice

My client has an unusual situation.  They are running SAP B1 version 8.8.  They receive multiple incoming checks for payment against the same invoice.  They receive them each month, so this is not a situation where they receive installments against the same invoice.  They want to enter the multiple checks into one Payment Means document, but when they start a new row, the Due Date increments to the next month.  This will cause them to change the date on all but the first row in the Payment Means form.  Is there a way to prevent the Due Date from incrementing to the next month?

    Gordon,
Does FMS mean formated search?  My client has to enter several checks for payment against one invoice each month, so this will be a common occurrence.  I assume you are suggesting creating a formatted search that would place the current date into the Due Date field when the row is updated.  Correct?

  • Dimension 1 Cost centre field is not able to edit in Incoming payment for Down payment Request

    Hi Exports,
I am facing an issue on selecting Cost centres in Incoming payment screen.
Issue: While I am booking the payment entry for Down payment request, I am not able to select first Dimension cost centre in Incoming payment rows for down payment request document, the Second dimension is able to select and update. the field is in non-editable mode (only on specific document row)
    Setup:
    1. Two Dimension are enabled
    2. In Separate Columns - Both Cost Centres are in separate column
The above issue is only for Down payment request, for other documents (Invoice) I am able to select and update cost centre
Please find below snap shot for reference
Kindly check and let me know the solution
    Regards,
    Kiran

    Hi Gordon,
    Thanks for your reply.
Yes agree, The Down Payment request is not a financial document but the Cost centres are able to select in Down payment request rows, no issue at all in this case.
In Incoming payment screen it is necessary to select Cost centres because it has financial implication using down payment request with related to currency difference or Bank charges (both are Expense accounts) and DR assignment is mandatory in this case.
And you have to notice one thing in above issue, I am able to select second dimension cost centre and it is allowing to edit and update the cost centre on respective row. Only issue is specific cell (dimension 1 cost centre) is not able to edit.
Even I am not able to process payment entry without selection of Cost Centre on first dimension, the system is blocking and displaying the error message "DR Assignment is mandatory on Dimension 1 for specific account"
    Looks like bug, please clarify

  • Incoming payment for incoming payment, credit memo, journal entry &invoice

The message subject is expression of my f**king confusing.
Suppose, we received payment on account 120 Ringgit, invoice amount 210 Ringgit, JE transaction amount 10 Ringgit and credit memo amount (without copied from a certain invoice) 5 Ringgit.
In one new incoming payment, I pay all the 4 transactions, is it correct procedure ? it means the balance of the customer will be zero, that's what we want to do. Thanks in advance
    Balaj

First and foremost, I would like to stay that this is a Public Forum and you must refrain from using improper language.  There are people here to help you.
If you want to adjust the JE, Payment on Account and Credit Memo aginst the Invoice and receive the balance amount, it is possible through incoming Payment.
You will highlight the Invoice, CM, JE and check the Payment on Account box to include the On account amount, go to Payment means and in the amount column press CTRL+B to copy the balance amount and ADD the payment
