Access static table values

Dear all,
I have a static table with rows as the attached image shows.
I want to be able to access the cell's and get values using JavaScript, how is this possible? what is the concept?
I have tried to use xfa.page.page1.CommodityTable.Row1[1].Cell1 with no luck
Thanks and best regards,

Some filtering i made only for xml datasource.
Let's say you have some xml data to preview your form:
<prodata>
<datas>
                          <data>
                                <fg_id>11111</fg_id>
                                <e_id>31787</e_id>
                          </data>
                          <data>
                                <fg_id>11111</fg_id>
                                <e_id>31797</e_id>
                          </data>
                          <data>
                                <fg_id>222222</fg_id>
                                <e_id>31839</e_id>
                          </data>
                          <data>
                                <fg_id>222222</fg_id>
                                <e_id>31954</e_id>
                          </data>
</datas>
</prodata>
You can take data with some filter like this:
     var items =     xfa.resolveNodes("$record.datas.data.[fg_id==11111]")
in this case you will have only 2 records in youre items variable.
Maybe the same approach can work for tables.

  • Access af:table values from JavaScript array (for google maps task)

    Hi!
    I have JSP page with af:table where latitude and longitude for google maps are stored. I am using these tutorial [https://blogs.oracle.com/middleware/entry/integrating_google_maps_with_adf] and I know how to access latitude and longitude from output text (for one point). Now i need to do something similar with loop for all table rows. How can I achieve this?
    I have JavaScript code which uses Google Maps API and can display many points on one map. Also I have longitude and latitude data in af:table (bindings), each table row has one point. My task is to take data from af:table and pass it to JavaScript.
    May be it is better to use managed bean as you said. Firstly I will access binding data from managed bean. Then I have to pass this data to JavaScript method? Can you suggest some example? I have "Using JavaScript in ADF Faces Rich Client Applications"

    My table is there :
    <af:table value="#{bindings.LocView1.collectionModel}" var="row"
                                  rows="#{bindings.LocView1.rangeSize}"
                                  emptyText="#{bindings.LocView1.viewable ? 'No data to display.' : 'Access Denied.'}"

    Hi Raju,
    Try this.  Create another dataprovider within your web template?  This new dataprovider refers to a similar query, but this query definition should restrict values CG1, CG2, CG3 and CG4.  Assign this dataprovider to your checkbox.  Then make sure the properties of the checkbox affect all other dataproviders.
    Also, if this list is static, you could create an HTML checkbox object coding the options (cg1, cg2, cg3, and cg4) programmatically.  Then add javascript code to produce the proper filtering based on the users' selections.
    Let me know what happens.

    Vishnu,
    I'm working on Ludwig's testcase.
    Ludwig's testcase is based on read-only View Objects.
    Is it also the case in your application ?
    I was unable to reproduce with VOs based on EOs.
    With read-only VOs, you can avoid the ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException by setting the "Key Attribute" property for the PK of the Master VO.
    See the ADF Developer's Guide, topic "7.9.3 What You May Need to Know About Enabling View Object Key Management for Read-Only View Objects"

  • Is there any post 2008R2 information available on Table Valued Parameters being usable for writes?

    The last I heard on the efforts to make TVPs writable was that they were on the roadmap for the 2008 R2 release but that it didn't make the cut.
    Srini Acharya commented in the connect item associated with this feature that...
    Allowing table valued parameters to be read/write involves quite a bit of work on the SQL Engine
    side as well as client protocols. Due to time/resource constraints as well as other priorirites, we will not be able to take up this work as part of SQL Server 2008 release. However, we have investigated this issue and have this firmly in our radar to address
    as part of the next release of SQL Server.
    I have never heard any information regarding why this was pulled from the 2008R2 release and why it wasn't implemented in either SQL Server 2012 or SQL Server 2014.  Can anyone shed any light on what's going on here and why it hasn't been enabled
    yet?  I've been champing at the bit for the better part of 6 years now to be able to move my Data Access Methodology to a more properly structured message oriented architecture using Request and Response Table Types for routing messages to and from SQL
    Server Functions and Stored Procs.
    Please tell me that I won't have to manually build all of this out with XML for much longer.
    Note that in SQL Server 2008 table valued parameters are read only. But as you notice we actually
    require you to write READONLY. So that actually then means that at some point in the future maybe if you say please, please please often enough we might be able to actually make them writable as well at some point.

    Can someone please explain what the complication is?
    It makes no sense to me that you can
    1)declare a table typed variable inside a stored procedure
    2)insert items into it
    3)return the contents of it with a select from that table variable
    but you can't say "hey. The OUTPUT parameter that was specified by the calling client points to this same variable."
    I would like to understand what is so different between
    create database [TechnetSSMSMessagingExample]
    create schema [Resources]
    create schema [Messages]
    create schema [Services]
    create type [Messages].[GetResourcesRequest] AS TABLE([Value] [varchar](max) NOT NULL)
    create type [Messages].[GetResourcesResponse] AS TABLE([Resource] [varchar](max) NOT NULL, [Creator] [varchar](max) NOT NULL,[AccessedOn] [datetime2](7) NOT NULL)
    create table [Resources].[Contrivance] ([Value] [varchar](max) NOT NULL, [CreatedBy] [varchar](max) NOT NULL) ON [PRIMARY]
    create Procedure [Services].[GetResources]
    (@request [Messages].[GetResourcesRequest] READONLY)
    AS
    DECLARE @response [Messages].[GetResourcesResponse]
    insert @response
    select [Resource].[Value] [Resource]
    ,[Resource].[CreatedBy] [Creator]
    ,GETDATE() [AccessedOn]
    from [Resources].[Contrivance]
    inner join @request as [request]

    ,[Resource].[CreatedBy] [Creator]
    ,GETDATE() [AccessedOn]
    from [Resources].[Contrivance]
    inner join @request as [request]
    on [Resource].[Value] = [request].[Value]
    GO
    that this cannot be accomplished in 7 years with 3 major releases of SQL Server.
    If you build the database that I provided (I didn't provide flow control commands, of course so they'll need to be chunked into individual executable scripts) and then
    insert into [Resources].[Contrivance] values('Arbitrary','kalanbates')
    insert into [Resources].[Contrivance] values('FooBar','kalanbates')
    insert into [Resources].[Contrivance] values('NotInvolvedInSample','someone-else')
    GO
    DECLARE @request [Message].[GetResourcesRequest]
    insert into @request
    VALUES ('Arbitrary')
    ,('FooBar')
    EXEC [Services].[GetResources] @request
    your execution will return a result set containing 2 rows.
    Why can these not 'just' be pushed into a "statically typed" OUTPUT parameter rather than being returned as a loose result set that then has to be sliced and diced as a dynamic object by the calling client?

  • Accessing internal tables at runtime.

    Hi all,
    I am writing a code where in i have to transfer data from excel to database table.
    Iam getting the excel data in an itab. Can anybody help me with how to access internal tables at runtime ?
    i am using the following code with sy-tabix. here, when the sy-tabix is odd it picks up the value,
    but i want that within the same loop when i increment sy-tabix by 1, then it should fetch the second column of same row. But its not working as it shows an error that it does not permit subfield access.
    the code is as follows:
    LOOP AT t_tab[] into wa_tab .
      data: l_tabix type sy-tabix,
            name_index type sy-tabix.
            data: c type i.
            l_tabix = sy-tabix.
            name_index = l_tabix+1.
            c = ( l_tabix mod 2 ).
    ******to check if sy-tabix is odd**********
           if c ne 0.
             READ TABLE t_tab into wa_tab index l_tabix.
             wa_product1-product = wa_tab-VALUE.
    ************incrementing sy-tabix*************
             READ TABLE t_tab into wa_tab index name_index. (here it shows error)
             wa_product1-product_name = wa_tab-value.
           endif.
      endloop.
    Thanks in advance.

  • MS Access and Null values

    Hi,
    I'm attempting to create a report in Crystal Reports Designer 2008 using a Microsoft Access 2003 table as a source. I'm having difficulty with my report design when the first record of the table contains a NULL value. I wish to find the Maximum() value of this field using the formula Maximum({table.field1}, {table.field2}) where field1 contains the value i'm trying to find the maximum of and field2 contains the grouping data. I find that if field1 contains valid values then the formula works as expected whereas if the first field1 value is NULL then the formula simply refuses to output anything (not even an error).
    I attempted to amend my formula to read:
    If IsNull({table.field1})
    Or {table.field1} = ""
    Or {table.field1} = " " Then
        "1"
    Else
       Maximum({table.field1}, {table.field2})
    But this also refuses to work.
    I also tried the following from the menu File > Report Options ... > Convert Database NULL Values to Default, and the other setting of Convert Other NULL Values to Default, but neither seemed to work for me.
    Any ideas on how I can test the table to see if the value is a null and hence deal with it?
    Thanks,
    Mike

    Ian,
    I had previously tried that with no luck.
    I've investigated further and I think the problem actually lies elsewhere. In my report design I join a couple of SQL Server views to the MS Access table. I think the join conditions are such that there is no data to bring back and so although the {table.field1} contains a vaule it is being ignored since the other tables can't join to it.
    I've managed to alter my other views and the problem still seems to have gone for the moment.
    I guess to answer my own question, the use of ISNULL(), = "" or = " " are the correct tests for a MS Access table and probably for most other data sources as well.
    Thanks,
    Mike

  • How can I access the Attribute Values from the Search Region

    Hi all,
    I have a table which contains Company id, department id, and PositonId. For a particular Company and Department there may be multiple records.
    I have to pupulate a table which contains the position and other details that comes under a particular Department and Position based on the selection in the Three comboBoxes.
    Also I have to populate a select many Shuttle to add new postions and records under a particular Department.
    I created a query panel *(Search Region)* for the serch and a table to display the data. That is working fine.
    Now the issue is I am using a view criteria to populate the shuttle with two bind variables ie, DepartmentId and CompanyId.
    If the serach will return a resuktant set in the table it will also pupulate the correct records, otherwise ie, if the if the serch result is empty the corresponding iterator and the attribute is setting as null.
    SO I want to access the attribute values from the Search Region itsef to populate the shuttle.
    I don't know how can I access the data from the Search Region.
    Please Help.
    Regards,
    Ranjith

    you could access the parameters entered in search region by the user as follows:
    You can get handle to the value entered by the user using queryListener method in af:query.
    You can intercept the values entered as described
    public void onQueryList(QueryEvent queryEvent) {
    // The generated QueryListener replaced by this method
    //#{bindings.ImplicitViewCriteriaQuery.processQuery}
    QueryDescriptor qdes = queryEvent.getDescriptor();
    //get the name of the QueryCriteria
    System.out.println("NAME "+qdes.getName());
    List<Criterion> searchList = qdes.getConjunctionCriterion().getCriterionList();
    for ( Criterion c : searchList) {
    if (c instanceof AttributeCriterion ) {
    AttributeCriterion a = (AttributeCriterion) c;
    a.getValues();
    for ( Object o : a.getValues()){
    System.out.println(o.toString());
    //call default Query Event
    invokeQueryEventMethodExpression("#{bindings.ImplicitViewCriteriaQuery.processQuery}",queryEvent);
    public void onQueryTable(QueryEvent queryEvent) {
    // The generated QueryListener replaced by this method
    //#{bindings.ImplicitViewCriteriaQuery.processQuery}
    QueryDescriptor qdes = queryEvent.getDescriptor();
    //get the name of the QueryCriteria
    System.out.println("NAME "+qdes.getName());
    invokeQueryEventMethodExpression("#{bindings.ImplicitViewCriteriaQuery.processQuery}",queryEvent);
    private void invokeQueryEventMethodExpression(String expression, QueryEvent queryEvent){
    FacesContext fctx = FacesContext.getCurrentInstance();
    ELContext elctx = fctx.getELContext();
    ExpressionFactory efactory = fctx.getApplication().getExpressionFactory();
    MethodExpression me = efactory.createMethodExpression(elctx,expression, Object.class, new Class[]{QueryEvent.class});
    me.invoke(elctx, new Object[]{queryEvent});

  • TIME_OUT when accessing Oracle table from SAP using native SQL

    Hi,
    I have a problem in one of my native SQL statement. It takes a long time accessing the table considering that the number of records to be retrieved is only small.
    Something happened on the Oracle system. But, stilll to be confirmed. Looking further at the issue, it seems that when the value in the where clause equated is a literal (meaning the value is not declared in DATA or CONSTANTS in the ABAP Program)
    Example
    1.
    EXEC.
    WHERE FIELD = '1'
    ENDEXEC.
    instead of
    2.
    CONSTANTS: c_1 value '1'.
    EXEC.
    WHERE FIELD = c_1
    ENDEXEC.
    i found that when the way of coding is same as Example 1, a time-out error occurs. But when in Example 2, no issue.
    Can someone explain this?
    Thanks!

    Repetitively asking the same question again and again is against the forum rules.
    Please post an explain of the SQL statement on the remote machine.

  • How to create a PDF with substituted key-value and table-values using a template language

    I have about 50 key-values and 10 table-values that I want to substitute into a formatted report template (language can be anything standard, would create a small number of these templates) and then use an Adobe tool to substitute the values into the template and produce a PDF. Preferably the template language would permit some basic conditional logic (if <key #> has value <value> then <show key label here> and <key value here> in close spatial proximity on the form) and permit embedding of a static graphic logo, text with fonts/styles, etc. to produce a polished report but also handle pagination (e.g. enable page breaks or numbering) to be handled automatically.
    What is a recommended template language and product to accomplish this?

    Are you thinking of something like a blank form that you can enter information into, save, and send to another user? If so, what you want is possible. If you want more information, post again and include more details about how you want to use it and how the recipient will use it.

    Hello Anuj,
    This is because the COUNT(*) is returning a value which is longer than the INT4 data type it is expecting. If you restrict the selection by introducing a WHERE clause, then you won't get the dump:

  • Error ODS activation - sql error when accessing a table.

    Hi,
    sometimes occurs an error by activation ODS. I have proces chain and when is loaded second packet an error occurs. In monitor>>
    -RSMPC 128, datapacket 3 is wrong, with status number 9
    -RSMPC 131
    -RSDRO 108 - communcation error (sql error when accessing a table)
    In sm21>
    -sql error when accessing a table
    -The exception, which is assigned to the class 'CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DB', was
    either                                                      caught nor passed along using a RAISING clause, in the procedure <b>"UPDATE_ATAB"</b>   "(FORM)"
    Since the caller of the procedure could not have expected this exception
       to occur, the running program was terminated.
      The reason for the exception is:
      The database system recognized that your last operation on the database
      would have led to a deadlock.
      Therefore, your transaction was rolled back
      to avoid this.
      ORACLE always terminates any transaction that would result in deadlock.
      The other transactions involved in this potential deadlock
      are not affected by the termination.
    I have BW 3.5.
    Thank You very much.

    There are a few different scenarios that I can think of where this might come up that all involve what might resulting in parallel (concurrent)processes:
    Loading packets in parallel - that is there are X number of processes loading packets concurrently. This could be set in your IMG settings system wide or in the InfoPackage for just this datasource.   You seem to indicate that you don't have this.
    Database parallel processing - RSAMDIN - ORA_PARALLEL_DEGREE ( there was a different RSADMIN parm for older versions - forget what SP the change came with).
    You have multiple InfoPackages for the datasource, each loading what should be a different range of data, and they run atthe same time.
    You could be loading from two different datasources to the ODS at the same time.
    If any of these are true, I would look at bumping the INITRANS setting up.  Your DBA will probably need to do this for table and its indices.  There is a Note - 831234 that allows you to create a parameter in RSADMIN that will specify a INITRANS value (e.g. 20) rather than using the default. The ODS would need to be activated to pick this new setting up for the table to be altered.
    You could also look at the Processing settings for the InfoPackage and change to PSA first, then target to see if that helps.
    Or if you are loading from two different datasources at the same time, you might adjust your schedule so that doesn't happen.

  • Internal error when accessing a table  -

    Hi,
    The program which is running as background was running for last 1 year, last two days the RFC call in the program is dumping.
    In DUMP its showing Internal error when accessing a table
    Error : DBIF_RSQL_SQL_ERROR
    I checed the size of the table its quite huge for the application.
    So there is no issue with table.
    Please advise what causes these sort of error.
    System is ECC 6.0

  • How to bind internal table values with RootUIElement(Table) from select Que

    Hello Friends,
           In my view Layout,there r two Input fields ,Submit button and Table... My concept is when user posting values in two input fields and clicking submit button means the result(more than one values) should be displayed in Table...
         I written coding also but i dont know to bind internal table values with Table... My code as follows,
    method onactionsearch .
       data:
         Node_Node_Flight                    type ref to If_Wd_Context_Node,
         Elem_Node_Flight                    type ref to If_Wd_Context_Element,
         Stru_Node_Flight                    type If_View1=>Element_Node_Flight ,
         itab TYPE STANDARD TABLE OF sflight.
    navigate from <CONTEXT> to <NODE_FLIGHT> via lead selection
       Node_Node_Flight = wd_Context->get_Child_Node( Name = IF_VIEW1=>wdctx_Node_Flight ).
    @TODO handle not set lead selection
       if ( Node_Node_Flight is initial ).
       endif.
    get element via lead selection
       Elem_Node_Flight = Node_Node_Flight->get_Element(  ).
    @TODO handle not set lead selection
       if ( Elem_Node_Flight is initial ).
       endif.
    alternative access  via index
    Elem_Node_Flight = Node_Node_Flight->get_Element( Index = 1 ).
    @TODO handle non existant child
    if ( Elem_Node_Flight is initial ).
    endif.
    get all declared attributes
       Elem_Node_Flight->get_Static_Attributes(
         importing
           Static_Attributes = Stru_Node_Flight ).
    select * from sflight into CORRESPONDING FIELDS OF TABLE itab
      WHERE carrid = Stru_Node_Flight-carrid and connid = Stru_Node_Flight-connid.
    Node_Node_Flight->bind_table( new_items = itab ).
    endmethod.
    Plz reply me asap...!

    Hi,
    What I understood from your coding is...
    * navigate from <CONTEXT> to <NODE_FLIGHT> via lead selection
    Node_Node_Flight = wd_Context->get_Child_Node( Name = IF_VIEW1=>wdctx_Node_Flight ).
    You are reading values from the above node and binding the values to the same node.Am i right?
    Did you take seperate context node for your input fields or binded the above context to the fields.If not then read the context attribute values which are binded to the carrid and connid then pass these values to select query.
    One more thing is select cardinality 1..n for node NODE_FLIGHT since you are displaying more than one record.
    Go through the some basic tutorials.Search in sdn you will it get.Already there is a tutorial in sdn which explains exactly what do you require.

  • How to access internal table data from webdynpro to Flex application.

    Hi Connoisseur
    The data transfer from Abap WebDeypro to flex island works well. I followed , there is an example from Thomas Jung (by the way as always Great Work) and  Karthikeyan Venkatesan (Infosys) but this example covers simple type only.
    There is no example with complex types like arrayCollection which handle the transfer of data from flex to WebDynpro.
    i tried to do pass internal table value  to flex-datagrid.but its not work.
    i would like to know
    1.how to access internal table data from webdynpro to Flex application.
    2.how to pass the internal table to flex-datagrid.
    2.how to pass dynamically in ADOBE flex.
    3. how to do Flex is receiving the wd context data?
    4. how can we update WD context with FLEX data.
    Ple give me sample example and step by step procedure.
