Accessing Adapter Logs

Hi,
Is there a way to access the Adapter logs(sender or receiver comms channel) in Java code? If so, please point me to some resources.
Cheers,
Earlence

hi,
If you are developing an adapter module it can be done using following command in your code:
Audit.addAuditLogEntry(amk, AuditLogStatus.SUCCESS, "Custom Module called");
Please use article available at:

Thanks!!

  • How to access Portal Logged in user in Web Service application

    Hi Experts,
I have created one Deployable Proxy and based on that i have created Web Based (WAR) project. to consume the proxy i have created Servlet based java file which invokes Web services. Based on this WAR project i created EAR application which deploys on J2EE server.
I am facing issue while accessing Portal Logged in user in my Servlet Class in WAR project so can  you please provide inputs for how we can access Portal Logged in user in our Servlet class? also how we can access LDAP detailes of portal Logged inuser ?
I tried to fetch the Logged in user from servlet request but i can't access it giving me null value. Following is the method details that i am using in my servlet.
    protected void doGet(HttpServletRequest request,HttpServletResponse response)throws ServletException, IOException
    IUser user = UMFactory.getAuthenticator().getLoggedInUser();
    String strName = user.getFirstName();
If I checked in LDAP values First name for logged in user is present but in my code its giving Null value.
Can you please provide your inputs on above issue.

  • (File-)Adapter Logging

    Hi,
I configured the file adapter as sender (polling on a ftp server on my local machine).
The log of the ftp server shows, that the adapter logged in and downloaded the specified file.
But I can't find the message in any monitoring components, neither in end-to-end monitoring, nor in the xml message monitor.
I can't find any logs concerning the file adapter on the J2EE Server. Is there any possibility to control the function of the file adapter ?
    Thanks and best regards,
    Linus

    Hello,
There is an OSS Note (761921) that describes how to create a trace file for the XI Adapters (on the J2EE).
No need to explain it here. Let em know if you have problem with this note.

  • Access controll Logs and DNS entries

    Hello there,
We have upgraded from Border Manager 3.5 to Border Manager 3.8 SP4 on
new hardware. Everything runs fine except a little niggle. When we
view the Access Control logs now all we see is IP addresses there are
no host names. In real time monitoring we can click on DNS Host Name
and get some of the names but most come back Unknown. Under the logs
themselves the DNS host Name option is grayed out. Have I messed up
    the configuration in some manner?
    Dan

Thanks Craig, We are indeed runing the transparent proxy. Is this a
change between 3.5 and 3.8? When we ran the transparent Proxy under
3.5 we were able to see the URL's.

  • Where are the Adapter Log Files?

    Hello All,
I have an message that just isn't being loaded by the receiving business system and I'd like to examine the receivers log files for additional details to help me debug the problem.  I don't know where to look yet.  Perhaps the group can offer it's collective advice.
Here's the details of the problem I'm tackling.....
I have a 3rd party system that's trying to send a purchase requisition to an SAP Business System via XI.  The message is received by XI correctly.  XI correctly performs the transformation and identifies the message interface and selects correct receiver for the message.  XI communicates with the receiving business system via the appropriate communication channel.
The message "fails" in the receiving system with the following error:
HTTP server code 500 reason Internal Server Exception explanation Error parsing of SOAP header.
That's not particularly enlighting?  What exactly about the SOAP header didn't the receiving system like?  Perhaps if I could examine a log file on the receiving system, I could figure out what was preventing the message from being loaded.
A review of TCode SM21 and ST22 on the receiving system - show no errors
The message is being sent to an HTTP receiver channel on an SAP Business System.  The URL being posted to looks something like this: http://host:port/sap/xi/engine?type=receiver
That's the URL for the local integration engine's pipeline on the receiving SAP business system, right?  SXMB_MONI on the receiving system doesn't show an errors because the SOAP header could not be interpreted.  What other log files would I examine on the receiver system to see an error in message parsing?
Thanks for your help!  Points will be gladly awarded

    Hi,
You can look into the Message Display Tool.
    <b>http://server:javaport/MessagingSystem/monitor/montior.jsp</b>
This link will lead you to see the entire SOAP message that is actually sent out of XI and received by XI . You can also see the Adapter Log on this link.

  • Client Access Server Logs that capture Outlook Anywhere Connections

Do Exchange 2010 Client Access Servers log Outlook Anywhere connections? Since it's RPC over HTTP, I'm thinking these would be in the IIS logs but don't see any entries in those logs that pertain to Outlook Anywhere. What logs contain Outlook Anywhere connections?
I suspect I have a CAS server that isn't working properly pertaining to OA and need to be able to review some sort of logs to confirm.
    Thanks

    ARay,
    Do the below basic checks-
Running the Test-OutlookConnectivity cmdlet. The cmdlet tests for Outlook Anywhere (RPC over HTTP) and TCP/IP connections. If the cmdlet
test fails, the output notes the step that failed.
Running the Outlook Anywhere connectivity test using the Exchange Remote Connectivity Analyzer (ExRCA). When you run this test, you get a detailed summary showing where the test failed and what steps you can take to fix issues.
Both tests try to log on through Outlook Anywhere after obtaining server settings from the Autodiscover service. End-to-end verification includes the following:
    Testing for Autodiscover connectivity
    Validating DNS
Validating certificates (whether the certificate name matches the Web site, whether the certificate has expired, and whether it's trusted)
Checking that the firewall is set up correctly (ExRCA checks overall firewall setup. The cmdlet tests for Windows firewall configuration.)
Confirming client connectivity by logging on to the user's mailbox

After that it shows me nothing.
Where can i find the settings for that and what do i need to change ?
    Thanks in advance

By using Table Configuration, you can show or hide individual table columns. To update the information displayed, choose Refresh. A selection box allows you to determine the number of visible table lines.

  • Accessing Call logs in IOS 5 and up

i am a developer and i need to create an app that will access call logs within the app.  Is there any way to do this using IOS 5 and UP?

If you are a developer, then I suggest that you post this in your private developer forum. You would get more help there. I'm not sure you can get access to the phone API for that, but someone over there should be able to tell you. This is the public user to user forum.
