I'm accessign a java class from C using JNI: The JVM exists and I can access the class fine:
jclass cls; //java class
cls = (*env)->FindClass(env, "MyClass");
However when I put the class in a package I can't access it
cls = (*env)->FindClass(env, "mypackage.MyClass");
Does anyone know How I can access a java class in a package using JNI.

Been a while since I've done anything with JNI, But... Did you try this:
cls = (*env)->FindClass(env, "mypackage/MyClass");

How to access a Java class from view controller?

Hi All,
I have created a Test.java class file from Navigator view under
Src --> Packages --> com.sap.MyProject.
When I try to access the Test class from view controller,
I getting this error "Test cannot be resolved or is not a type".
How do I fix this?

I have created a Test.java class file from Navigator view under
Src --> Packages --> com.sap.MyProject.
After this you can goto the context of your View and define the VA goto the type of VA and click on the right side button and go to java native type and type your java file name click you name .
that means the jave file s assigned to VA.
U can utilize thrut that VA.

Accessing Non Java Applications thru Java Program

Hye guys,
I need help regarding this :
Suppose I have a application which is non Java and application have several windows. Can I through a Java Program get the information abt the most active topmost window of the application?
I think that only windows Task Manager knows abt the application and the child process(which is a different windows in this case ) and thus my Java Program have to do the low level system programming to
get info from the task Manager, but that will be make my program platform dependent.
Can we have a generalised program for this problem?
Help in this regard will be highly appreciated..

Can't access non ejb classes from JSP - NoClassDefFound error

          Hi,
          I have one session ejb which has a method returning a collection of non ejb class objects (say of Class 'Foo').
          The method signature is like :
          "Collection getFinacialData() throws RemoteException"
          It is working fine with normal java clients. Now when I run this from a JSP it gives a "NoClassDefFoundError". I kept class 'Foo' and the remote interface of the session bean in the same package and also in the same ejb jar file. Also I am running JSP and ejb in same WL server(ver 5.1, SP8 on solaris). What I have done is only deployed the bean jar file. Do I need to do anything more?

I ran into a similar problem. I solved it by putting the client classes for
          accessing my EJB in the WebLogic POST_CLASSPATH in the startWebLogic script
          file:
          set POST_CLASSPATH=d:\weblogic\myserver\myClient.jar

Question about access non-public class from other package.

Hi, everyone!
Suppose class A and class B are in the same java file of package pkg1
-- A.java. So, A is a public class and B is a non-public class.
If I want to access class B from another class class C and class
C is in package pkg2. When compiling, an error occurs indicating
that class B is not visible to class C.
So, If I defined serveral classes in one java file and I want to
access every class from other package. How should I do?
(I think in one java file, there should be only one public class and
only the public class can be accessed from other package.)

do? As you already seem to know, there is at most one public class allowed per source file (at least, with javac and most popular compilers). So if you want more than one public class, you will need to use more than one file...

Access non-DC project from a DC Web Dynpro project

Hi,
I have a DC Web Dynpro project that needs to access a non-DC Java project. As I cannot create a public part of the non-DC Java project then add that public part to the used DC list of the DC Web Dynpro project, I add the non-DC Java project to the build path of the DC Web Dynpro project. That way I can do the coding without any issue, but when I build the Web Dynpro DC, I keep getting building error saying that the Web Dynpro DC doesn't see the classes in the non-DC Java project.
How can I resolve this issue without switching the non-DC Java project to a DC?
I am on NW04s.

There is a way to achieve your purpose, but at the same time, Iu2019m not sure that it will be exactly your requirement. Anyways, herein, Iu2019m providing you a concept which we had used in our earlier project.
You need to create a java file with the communication parameters for DC and non DC and after that create a jar file. Now, you create an external library DC of this jar file and publish it as public part with complication and assembly.
Now, use this external library DC in your DC.

Create an HTTP system using the System Templates Provided. Instead of selecting SAP Systems you select HTTP system. Provide parameters:
Authentication method: POST
Authentication Type: Server
URL Parameter for Password & URL Parameter for Username: This you can get by doing a View Source on the Login Page of your CRMS appln. e.g. <input type = "hidden" name ="user"> -> So in this case you pick up user
In User management property select Usermapping and admin,user
Now create a URL iView:
System: Select the 1 you created.
URL: URL to your application till before any query string starts.
REQUEST Methid: GET
URL Parameter 1: <the user param from the source> TYPE = Mapped User
URL Parameter 2: <the pwd param from the source> TYPE = Mapped Password
Enter the user mapping for that user and test the iview.

Forwarding requests on to non-java pages from servlet.

I have designed a web application using a form of single controller pattern.
I have a number of JSPs.
Each of these JSP's has a form element which if submitted got to a single servlet (Controller)which then forwards on the request to a different class based on the paramter passed. For example this form would call the SubmitFeedback class.

Using object tags is the correct way and only way to download the plugin and let the client decide whether he can download it r not. There is no way to install automatically
I dont think there is a way to install automatically without a user intervention coz, it can open the floodgates for potential hackers.
Can u cite an example about which programs can be installed automatically and why do u want the plugin to be installed automatically?

Communicating w. running (non-Java) process from Java

I'd like to be able write a Java program that can run an instance of a text editor, say NotePad or TextPad, with some text file open (I know how to do this via the Runtime class' exec method), but then, at a later point, open some other text file in that same running instance of the text editor. This is on Windows XP btw... with Java 1.4.x
Can this be done? Specifically can it be done in the case of NotePad or TextPad?
If this can be done, and someone can give me some pointers on how it's done, I'd greatly appreciate it... Thanks in advance.

You will have to make use of native methods for that. Or use something with Runtime.exec();

Accessing Java Classes from Forms

Is is possible to access a Java class from Forms? I have been
creating an Active X control that returns a Java object, and from
that I can call methods on that object, but I would really like
to do that without having and Active X control in the mix. Any

how can i access normal java class from an EJB.
I do not want to write the business logic inside the EJB. How can I achieve this.

There's no special API for doing this. Just use normal java. E.g.

How can we access custom Java beans from within the XSLs used to render WPC webforms? Do we have to implement a custom XSLT Helper? I am able to access standard Java classes using the <xmlns> tag but when I try to reference our custom classes the WPC editor throws a ClassNotFound exception. Any help will be appreciated.
