Accidentally Clicked Publish Button
Help!
I'm using RH HTML X5.0.2. I accidentally clicked the
"Publish" button rather than the "Preview" button after Generating.
I've never setup any Publishing preferences so I have no idea what
it's doing! When I try to open the project from Version Control, I
get a msg: "This project is already open in another instance of the
application."
How can I get back into my Project?!

I'm not sure. I suppose it may. If RoboHelp had files in a
state of limbo I suppose it could. I've never worked with the
RoboSource Control server so can't say.
Long ago I worked with RoboHelp and used VSS.

Access Bidder Tab Details when PUBLISH button is clicked
Hi All,
I've few requirements to enhance the functionality of PUBLISH button in Rfx Creation.
One fo them is to trigger notification mails to all bidders when RFx is re-PUBLISHed by clicking PUBLISH button.
I need to fetch all the bidder list from Bidder Tab whenever PUBLISH is clicked.
Need to know where / which method has all these details so that I can enhance it.
I know that PUBLISH is in the toolbar for FPM_OIF_COMPONENT.
View - CNR_VIEW
RFx Bidder tab details will get from the component /SAPSRM/WDC_UI_DO_BIDDER.
I want to access the bidders when PUBLISH button is clicked.
I want to which method is executed when PUBLISH button is clicked.
Tried with CL_ABAP_DEBUGGER and CL_WDR_ACTION but not getting the ecaxt component which is calling.
Is there any other way to debug?

SravanA bit late, but method /SAPSRM/IF_FPM_OVRIDE_EVT_OIF~OVERRIDE_EVENT_OIF from /SAPSRM/CL_FPM_OVRIDE_OIF is extremely useful trying to debug where the info comes from.
Basically, there are several mappers classes that access to pdo layer somehow. It is always the same process more or less, but you have to know which classes are involved.
You can usually get a class that is accesible from your wd component. If no BAdIs or no other way of doing some z modification, it is always posible to directly enhance such class...

Can you help me to retrieve my applications. In iTunes I accidentally clicked the Restore button in the Summary screen. It restored the original settings and I lost all my applications and don't know if it is possible to retrieve them.
All apps on an iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch should be in your iTunes library on your computer.
You can re-download all 3rd party apps and you won't be charged again for a purchased app as long as you use the same iTunes account to re-download the apps that was used to purchase the app originally.

Do this with iTunes on your computer. After you have re-downloaded every app one by one, select Sync Apps under the Apps tab for the device's sync preferences along with selecting the apps below that you want transferred to the device followed by a sync to re-install the apps on the device. -
Excel Macro to click on publish button of Master Data Services Add-in
I am creating an excel macro to perform extra validation and defaults whilst the user is editing the MDS entity. It will be added as a workbook add-in. At the end of the macro I would like to be able to launch publish. The MDS addin is a ribbon.
Does anyone have an example of how I can simulate a click on the Publish button or what the call that the button does is?

Why is there a delay after clicking any button when publishing to iOS?
When I publish to HTML5, the app seems to run fine on my PC via a web browser. However, when I submit for iOS there is a very noticable delay after clicking any button. It takes at least 1-2 seconds for the next slide or object to appear. This might make it difficult to get the app approved when I'm finished. Please let me know if there is a workaround for this.

I'm using buttons to Jump to Slide or Go to Next Slide. I am also using buttons to show/hide using advanced actions (under Easy to Use -> Easy Widgets). Pleaes let me know if you have suggestions for resolving the lag.

When I want to share a photo from iPhoto and post to Facebook, the publish button is grayed out.
Already checked privacy settings on FB and nothing should be blocking this.iPhoto menu across the top. mouse up there if you are in full screen mode>Share>Facebook log in with your info

How to hide check-in, check-out and publish buttons

users of a community can edit some content items. they can open these items with this link (from administrators guide for al interaction publisher 6.5 p. 10-28):

the link works, users can edit the items.
problem is, that i do not want to show the "publish button" to the users. the content item should be published automaticaly after the user clicks on "save". i also do not want users to see the check-in, check-out and preview buttons. they should just open a content item (+ simultaneously check-out), edit it and save it (+ simultaneously check-in and publish and close the content editor).
i thought this can be done by the "view" parameter, but nothing happens if i use it. any ideas?

This is a common problem. A creative way to solve the problem is to point yourself to the description field of each input on a data entry template. When you have the need to make any dynamic changes to the entry templates simply drop some javascript into the description field of an input and write the appropriate javascript code to either hide buttons, change behaviour etc. When the data entry template is displayed to a user the javascript in the description field will be executed by the browsing. Fortunately publisher does not check the description fields or encode them so you can get away with a lot.
The only problem with this approach is while you are altering the UI the underlying data model will still allow users to publish. So if an unauthorised user saw fit, they could publish content.
Have you considered creating a workflow so that users in specific groups cannot publish? that way only a controller down the line would be able to approve and publish.

How do I upload an album to Facebook if the "Publish" Button is continually greyed out?
I have created 2 new albums from a recent trip. The pictures are all edited and ready to be uploaded to Facebook, but when I push the Facebook button, the "Publish" button in the dialog is continually greyed out and I can't publish. Earlier this evening, I published an album from my MacBook with no trouble, but the pictures I want to publish now have all been edited and put in albums on my iMac.
Also, I checked several earlier published albums on this iMac and they show an error message indicating that there may be something wrong with my login. I am logged in and don't know how to fix the problem.Solved problem. Go to menu-file-export. Click on Facebook tab. Login and it's pretty intuitive from there.

Disabling the one-click call button in the Skype m...
I want to know how to disable the little "Call Phone" or "Video Call" button that pops up when you hover over a contact's status in the Skype main window. Too many times I have accidentally clicked in this spot to activate the Skype window, only to immediately (and inadvertently) call whichever contact I happened to be hovering over. This should be an option, or at the very least require a double click.
My personal preference is to double click the contact to open the Skype chat window, and then click "Call" from there. Which is obviously an option, provided I don't accidentally click in the minefield that is the Status column in the contacts list.Hover and single click call is horrible UI design. Which explains why it was adopted by the Skype developers.

MobileMe photo upload Publish button is shaded.
I have signed up for the 60 days to try out MobileMe. Mostly I want to share photos that I have taken with my family and friends.
I have setup categories online where I would like to upload my photos directly from my iphone.
When I select the photo for uploading and type in a title and message the Publish button is not availble for clicking, below the message the words loading... just appear. I am guessing it is trying to load the gallery folders I created.
Any idea why this is not working?

You can try to restore a previous copy of the cookies.sqlite file from the Time Machine if you use that feature.
You can use this button to go to the Firefox profile folder:

MDS Add-in for Excel 2013 Publish Button stops working
We have users that are making changes in Entities and every 10-15 minutes they publish their changes. On occasion (pretty regularly) after they make their changes and click the publish button nothing happens. Its like the particular sheet just thinks there
are no changes to publish. They are doing some Excel filtering and copying by entering one cell and clicking lower right corner and dragging down.
They can refresh and still can't publish. They have to bring up the data on another sheet and then they can make the same changes they were trying to publish and it will publish in the new sheet. Its like the original sheet just thinks there are no changes
pending. There is no communication to MDS and nothing in windows or MDS error log.
This is a very poor user experience and is souring the users on the tool altogether.Yispro,
