I just installed ADDT-CS4-101-beta, and now I keep getting the Dreamweaver error message "While executing onLoad in ADDT_onOpen.htm, the following JavaScript error(s) occured:

I am in the very early stages of trying to learn this program. I thought that ADDT-CS4-101-beta was a tool box of add ons. So I installed it, and now I keep getting this error message. I am running WINXP Pro with SP3. I thought I would uninstall this program, and everything would go back to normal, and I could continue my learning process, and install this program later, after I had a better idea of what the heck was going on.
How do I correct this problem? I checked in the WinXP control panel, using "Uninstall Programs", and ADDT-CS4 is not there.Still fighting this battle of trying to reinstall CS4 Extension Manager. The problem is that I can not get rid of the previous installation. When I tried to uninstall it using WinXP Pro Control Panel/Add/remove it would fail to remove it. Then I used a software program "Perfect Uninstaller" to remove it, and that seemed to have worked. I say (seemed to have worked), because after I rebooted, I checked Start/programs, and CS4 Extension Manager was no longer shown in the listings. Then I went to Control Panel/Add/Remove, and it no longer was listed. Sooooooo I thought I had everything licked, and I doubled clicked on the Setup.exe file of the newely downloaded CS4 Extension Manager, an it ran through the "Checking Profile", and then started the "Setup Program", and gave me the same old message "System Check" "Adobe Extension Manager CS4 is already installed on this machine."
"To reinstall please run the installer which performed the original installation."
I think that it was originall installed when I installed Photoshop CS3, or Photoshop CS4. I can not find my disc for Photoshop CS4. I have the disc for Photoshop CS3, but when I checked that disc for the Extension Manager, I could not find it. Is there any program that will totally rmove the original Extension Manager. Once I can reinstall Extension Manager, I will be able to remove ADDT-CS4-101.

I had all my software, including my ‘Adobe Creative Suite 4 Design Premium’ removed from my MacPro (OSX 10.10.2) by a Computer technician after I had inadvertently installed some malware.
Now I can’t reinstall my CS4 because the installer software wants me to identify the product from which I am upgrading, but mine isn’t on the list. The old product from which I am upgrading is called ‘Adobe Design Collection’. Furthermore, it has 4 serial numbers (one each for Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat and Illustrator), not just one, as the installer requires.
I know this can be done, as I have had it working for a long time. Am I doing something wrong now?Contact support be web chat and have them generate a working temporary serial/ challenge code for the install.

Use the Flash Drive that came with your computer it has Snow Leopard installed on it. If you lost it or cannot find it then call Apple and they will replace it for you, I don't know how much they will charge.
BTW when installing MS Windows please follow the directions whether you are using Boot Camp or a vitualialization solution (Parallels, Fusion, etc.) had you done this you would not have had any issues. -

Hi, original poster here. I did not realize this would generate more discussion so I never checked back. I still had my warranty, so I took it to the store and got it repaired. The original problem I had was a screen with this icon flashing when I attempted to boot it up:
When I took it to the store, they told me that my computer was unable to communicate with the hard drive. I had this same problem three times in two months where this screen reappeared. Each time I went back to the store and they said the cause was different, but they were all hardware issues that physically made it impossible to communicate with the hard drive. After the third time, they simply replaced my laptop and I haven't had the same problem.
So in short: The reason you can't reinstall or move anything when you encounter this screen appears to be because nothing can communicate with the hard drive in the first place. You can't reach the disk or anything on it. So I don't believe it's possible to do anything besides take it to a physical store and have it fixed. -

Unfortunately I have no experience of MacAfee but you could try completely uninstalling Firefox and installing it again.

Hi I tried firefox as a browser but didn't keep it. Uninstalled it and put explorer 9 back on. Tonight a power surge knocked out my desktop pc totally. Question: I bought a 5 yr old Mac G5 OSx 10.4.11, 2 GHz intel Core 2 Duo processor, 1GB 667 MHz DDR1 SDRAM memory. It works fine but I can't get Thunderbird, Flash Player or Adobe reader to install -- it shows up on desktop as download but not App folder. Why?
The downloads are probably .dmg files (disk images). You would open the disk image (double-click it) to find the application or an installer. If it's the application itself, you then drag the application to your Applications folder to "install" it. If it's an installer, double-click the installer to run the installer that installs the application.
NOTE: If you iMac is Intel, it's not a PPC G5. -

Does it matter whether it is an individual license vs volume license?The End user license agreement says that you can install of 2 machines however you can't use both at the same time with captivate working on it.
The previlage is givent to the user keeping the fact in mind that you might have a work laptop that you need to bring back home and work on it,so you can install it on Desktop at office and on the laptop as well and bring it back home and start working on it.
