Accordéon Spry avec données dynamiques.

Bonsoir.
J'ai créé une base de données avec des news et je souhaiterais, à l'aide de Dreamweaver et la librairie Spry, réaliser un accordéon dynamique, affichant le titre de la new dans le bandeau cliquable, et le texte de la new dans le content. J'ai essayé de jouer avec les zones répétées mais je ne suis parvenu à rien. Quelqu'un peut-il me mettre sur la voie ? (je ne demande pas de solution toute faite bien sur, juste le chemin à suivre).

The first step is to create an XML file populated with data from the database, see here http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/spry/samples/utils/query2xml.html
You can then create a SpryXMLDataSet to use for the accodrion.

technically speaking, ADDT and the Spry framework have about nothing in common, and you´re going to stumble across many compatibility-related issues when trying to use them together.
Does anyone have a solution??
any regular user who´d like to provide a solution to this, would have to be a pretty skilled programmer and would have to know the "technical details" of both ADDT and SPRY very well to be of help -- I don´t think that you´ll find many folks here who are capable to do that.
However, why not making the date field required in ADDT ?

Spry event listeners with dynamic form elements

I am trying to implement spry event listeners with a form that has dynamic check boxes and text field name. I now i can get the elements in a var and loop through with a normal function but can this work for spry events listeners

Short answer is yes. But I have a feeling that you need further assistance, in which case give us a URL to a page that you want to apply the event listener to.

Spry Submenus Don't Disappear On Click

I am trying to use Spry menus, but the submenus do not
disappear on click. When a user selects a submenu item, the submenu
stays open even after the user has made a selection. The user has
to move the mouse away from the drop down menu in order for it to
disappear. This is clumsy.
What can I do to get around this? Any ideas?

If it was designed that way, I think it is a design flaw.
Once you click a selection on a submenu, you are done using
the submenu, and it should go away. That is how most desktop
software is designed.
I'm using items on the menu as links to another page that
appear in a DIV. The problem is, the submenu covers the top part of
the DIV, and the user cannot see if it worked or not.
How can we tell the Spry developers that submenus should
disappear on click to make them more user-friendly?

Je cherche l'option qui permet de crée un menu ou sommaire dynamique (visible sur chaque page, donc peutetre à caller sur un gabarit ?).
Par menu dynamique j'entend par la : un sommaine, visible sur chaque page (donc en faite une sorte de menu) et qui est clicable pour pouvoir afficher une page au choix.
Il faut ausssi qu'un changement puisse etre visible dans se menu, par exemple : la typo ou la couleur ou la transparence change sur la page active, afin que le titre sois mise en avant et ainssi voir ou on se trouve dans le doc.
J'ai essayer avec les Bookmarks (Signets), mais je pense pas que ca sois cela.
Avec la table des matieres (Table Of Contents), j'ai pas reussis.
Voici un exemple presque à l'identique de se que je cherche :
Le menu est entierement clickable, et quand on se balade, le nom de la page ou on se trouve est mise en avant.

Compliqué pour certains, pas pour nous !
Et j'en remets une couche pour faire écho à la dernière remarque de JRB qui a totalement raison concernant la "mise en surbrillance page par page".
Même si, par principe, la TDM risque d'être "limitée" (disons à 30 paragraphes), dans l'hypothèse d'un tel document avec, disons par ex., 897 pages !, le traitement devient, disons, franchement... pénible ! car, selon ma première approche, chaque page doit être traitée !!!!!
Si traiter manuellement 897 pages ne représente aucun intérêt si ce n'est un "boulot titanesque" [Cela m'arrive de dire des bétises !], ne procéder qu'à 30 fois la même manip. mérite une petite attention !
On peut ainsi aborder la question sous un angle techniquement légèrement différent [ Finalement, j'aime bien cette TDM sur toutes les pages ! ].
Prérequis :
1 seul fichier InDesign ;
libération de tous les éléments de gabarit ;
2 flux de texte, créés dans un gabarit :
• Flux_1, pour la partie "Texte_partie-droite" ;
• Flux_2, pour la partie "Pavé rouge / TDM_partie-gauche".
(Je ne m'étendrai pas sur la mise en place d'un tel double flux : 2 blocs texte, BlocTexte_Flux_1 et BlocTexte_Flux_2, par page, tous les blocs BlocTexte_Flux_1 étant chaînés au fil des 897 pages, idem pour tous les blocs BlocTexte_Flux_2 ; on pourra en reparler !, simplement retenir que la mise en place du fichier 0 (avec les 2 flux) ne prend que quelques secondes.)
Une fois la mise en page (partie droite) terminée, il ne reste plus qu'à s'occuper de la partie gauche (TDM interactive sur le PDF).
// La TDM automatique d'ID aura été préalablement générée et collée dans un bloc de texte [que j'appelle "BlocTDM_0"], lui-même ancré "sur la ligne" + prévoir un retour-charriot, dans le bloc de texte "BlocTexte_Flux_2". //
La mise en place du Flux_2 va générer 897 blocs ancrés "BlocTDM_0", dans une story globale de 897 blocs. Là est le nœud du problème (en tout cas, tel que je l'ai abordé).
Le style visé dans la mise en page (et donc par la TDM) est "Titre_1".
Dans le pavé rouge, le style par défaut (rouge pâle) est Titre_1a (dans "BlocTDM_0", tous les styles appliqués à l'instant 0 sont donc Titre_1a). Le style "blanc" est Titre_1b.
Partant de l'idée de départ (TDM automatique copiée dans le "pavé rouge", avec hyperliens), on localise le 1er § "Titre_1" (sans aucun doute sur la 1ère page).
On va créer pour cela 2 régex et les enregistrer (pour mémoire) :
• La première [Regex_1] (onglet "Texte") recherchera les styles "Titre_1", les uns après les autres.
• La deuxième [Regex_2] (onglet "Grep") recherchera les "BlocTDM_(x)" et les remplacera par "BlocTDM_(x+1)", qui est en fait le BlocTDM_(x) modifié au fur et à mesure. Donc, BlocTDM_0, remplacé par BlocTDM_1, lui-même remplacé par BlocTDM_2, ...
On pourra passer ainsi d'une recherche à l'autre, en changeant d'onglet !...
Commençons le traitement car j'imagine bien que je suis sans doute le seul à y comprendre quelque chose !!
On recherche donc le 1er § stylé "Titre_1" (partie droite).
Sur la page trouvée, en face, le "pavé rouge" (qui contient la TDM, sans folio, stylée "Titre_1a"). On modifie ce pavé : application du style "Titre_1b" là où il faut.
On sélectionnne le pavé, on le copie (presse-papier), on clique (en mode Texte) dans le bloc de texte "BlocTexte_Flux_2".
On lance la Regex_2 : Rechercher Marqueur d'objet ancré / Remplacer par Contenu du presse-papier sans mise en forme.
L'astuce : Chercher "Jusqu'à la fin de l'article" ==> Tous les BlocTDM_0 à partir de ce point on été remplacés par des "Bloc_TDM_1", ceux qui se trouvent avant ne sont pas touchés.
On recherche alors le 2e § stylé "Titre_1" (partie droite).
Et on recommence la manip. 29 autres fois.
Je peux vous assurer que lorsque l'on a compris, cela prend quelques minutes pour traiter la question.

Spry Effects don't work in IE

Greetings:
Is there a way to use multiple fade effects in IE for the
menu widget? Currently, what's happening is that when I add the
fade effect to the parent div to the menu, the child node does not
want to expand to its third child in IE.
However, it does work in all of the other browsers.
I laboriously created a huge xml menu using the spry widget,
and then added the "fade" affect to it. It worked in all browsers
as intended BUT in Internet explorer.

On the Safari page tap the + sign in the upper right then private in the lower left. You know private is on when the top of the Safari page is dark with white letters.

Jump links to spry tabs don't work in firefox

I created jump links from the top of a page to spry collapsible panel tabs. In Internet Explorer, the link doesn't bring me to the tab, but the tab changes color (rollover)--an unintended but very nice effect. In Firefox, the link does nothing.
This is the 3rd time I've asked this question; I hope that someone can help.

Although I couldn't open the zip file (spry_target.zip), I followed the directions to insert the URL.utils java script code needed to open tabs from another page, but it didn't work for me.

I don't want them to go through all my pages...interactive pdf

I want to create an interactive pdf, that is only "controllable" by clicking certain buttons on the pdf. I mean i don't want the viewer to simply go through all my pages by clicking the arrow keys on the keyboard (etc...) To make things clear, i have a front page that's like a menu, from which the viewer has to decide every time what subject he wants to see. So the viewer clicks the right button and the correct page show up. next, they return to the front page by clicking the 'return to the front page' button. Now the user can select another topic he wants to view, and so on....I don't want the user to go through all my pages by simple clicking or pressing the arrow keys. I want them to interact with my pdf, the way i made it . Can something like this be done in Indesign? I've searched a lot but wasn't able to find the information a needed. I hope you guys understand my problem and that someone knows the solution.

Dynamic Accordian Implimentation

Hi... I'm trying to use spry to implement a dynamic project
list with a detail section for a client.
What I've got is a page with categories of projects. Each of
the categories will be a tab on an accordian widget. In each of the
categories I want to have a spry table with the projects of that
category that then link to a detail region.
Right now I've got an XML data set with all of the projects
that I need to figure out a way to filter under each accordian tab,
but I could do multiple xml data sets (1 for each category).

Spry html dataset ? sliding detail panel?

I have created a spry html dataset on a dreamweaver CS4 site. The master column has around 40 entries and the detail column is rather small. When clicking on the names in the master column, the detail information appears at the top of the page - no problem for entries at the top of the page, but for entries near the bottom of the list, you need to scroll up the page to see the information. I want to either make the master column scrollable or in some manner make the detail column appear beside the name in the master column. I have looked at sliding panels, accordionb panels ,etc... but can't seem to get the coding right to make this work. Waht would be best to use and how should I do this?

Greg,
The LogMgr.modifyFlags method only changes the actual logging filters - as
you found out, you can't specify a file. It also affects ALL current log
files. You can't specify output to a particular file if a set of files is
specified in FORTE_LOGGER_SETUP.
There are a couple of approaches you can take. The easiest is to specify
more than one file in FORTE_LOGGER_SETUP, with a different set of filters
for each one. For example, you might use "mem.txt(trc:os:1:1)
perf.txt(trc:in:52:1) mystuff.txt(trc:user1:1)" Then, when you turn
various flags on or off, the associated files will be accordingly affected.
The other solution, obviously, is to write your own logging service. I
have seen some projects that have taken this approach, and it has worked
fairly well. Except for very specialized needs, though, it's probably
easier to use the first method.

It sounds like you are using R3. If so, then you need to manually flush
the log files by OS feels the need to do so. Try this and see if it works!

Affichage de la vitesse avec le signal d'un anémomètre

Bonjour à tous je suis débutant dans LabView et j ai besoin d'aide car je n arrive pas à transformer mon signal en chiffre numérique proportionnel à mon signal pour avoir la vitesse du vent.
j ai réalisé mon shéma entier avec mon anémomètre ma carte N.I Carte 6211 et je l ai connecté grace à un cable USB à l ordinateur de base j ai reussi a afficher mon signal sur un graph avec l assistant DAQ et recupere mon signal (pièces jointes-schéma bassique).
Maintenant je dois utiliser le signal pour le transformer en chiffre numérique proportionnel à mon signal pour avoir la vitesse du vent.

Tout d'abord je tiens à vous faire remarquer que nous vous apportons de l'aide bénévolement. Le "et vite" me semble donc malvenu... Quoiqu'il en soit, si votre but est juste de récupérer la valeur numérique en sortie de votre tâche DAQmx vous avez 2 solutions déjà données ci-dessus :
Utiliser le VI "Convertir des données dynamiques" pour obtenir un tableau, image des vos mesures
Créer une tâches DAQmx et effectuer une lecture des échantillons à l'aide du VI "DAQmx - Lire"
Je vous invite à prendre une bonne demi heure pour faire plusieurs essais et bien comprendre le fonctionnement de l'acquisition via carte DAQ.
Pour le traitement des données ensuite, la majorité des outils nécessaires au calcul sont présents dans les palettes "Numérique" ou "Comparaison".

Permanent subtitles. I don't want them!

I've tried it all.
I'm doing a DVD with 3 languages subtitles: Spanish, English, French. I did a menu to choose any of the 3 subtitles, or deactivate it.
Everything works perfect, but when I burn my DVD and play it, it loads automatically my spanish sutbtitles.
I read on help section that if my player is set up to Spanish (as mine), it loads the subtitles alone. Well, I did another DVD without the spanish subtitles, and now it loads the English subtitles alone!
I don't want that! I want my DVD clean, that's why I made a menu! For everyone to choose!
I tried going to POJECT > PROPERTIES > DEFINE SUBTITLES > DEACTIVATE
And it doesn't change anything! Please help! Thanks!

Two FileName in Dynamic Configuration

Hi All,
I have a very rare problem. In an interface which uses BPM, where file is the sender and Proxy is the target,
there is an ABAP Class in the mapping which uses Dyanmic Configuration to retrieve the FileName and create a Proxy structure and posts it to the ECC. In this scenario, Multiple files are picked from different folder using advanced Selection and sent to BPM which uses the ABAP Class.
When i run the interface with 5 different files placed at source, In SXMB_MONI, I can see that after 3 files are processed successfully with a single filename in the Dynamic Configuration, the 4th or the 5th one wil have 2 filenames in the dynamic configuration out of which the first filename will be the copy of the earlier processed filename and the second one wil be the actual required filename. The above behaviour keeps on chainging.
How can this be possible as the Context Object 'FileName' can have only single filename through out the interface instance, as there is no setting of the filename done in dynamic configuration.
Please reply if anyone has a solution to the above problem.

Yes.. its a serial processing. Let me explain a bit more.
as i said above, after the 3rd BPM instance (Just as an example.. keeps on chainging), the 4th instance has a unique filename compared to before 3. but after processing, the Dynamic Configuration in SXMB_MONI will have 2 fileNames. which will have a copy of any one of the earlier filenames along with actual filename.
