Account Assignment filed should appear in Level 3 in Project Systems.

Hi to all,
We want to show the account assignment field in level 3 for WBS purpose.  If anybody having knowledge in that area (Project Systems).  Please help.

    I'm facing a similar error. 
    What I think it's happening is that for technical reasons the program involved only delivers 99 line items... To make things worse, When you try to create an invoice for that full item you are going to get an error bc the invoice reserves line 99 for unplanned account assignments.
    The suggestion from SAP is to create further items with 98 account assignment items or less.

  • Automatically GL account & settlement rule should appear in CO01 in creatio

    While Creating a Production Order in CO01 pl input the qty,finish date ,backward scheduling & release the order.
    This is REM ,choose prod version,click on Header---->Settlement rule
    Screen shoudl automatically show CAT---->GL ACCOUNT,Settlement Reciever say 59000000.
    But right now the values are inputed manually which meight result in errors & also wastage of time.
    What background settings need to be done (i think in OKO7) .Pl suggest.

    Go to Settlement rule (CJ02),where enter the WBS .here go to Extra in the menu bar of that WBS ,under Asset under construction ckeck the box of Historiy....something like that .

  • Assignment filed is banl in the VAT gl account at the of MIRO

    Hi All,
    We have posted MIGO with excise,  document number is genrated, in the document  the VAT gl account  in the assignment the po number is updated.
    While doing the MIRO with excise taxcode, with same VAT GL account the assignemnt filed is blank.
    why system is not updating assigment
    If you noticed above screen shot the GL a/c 4631040  in the assignment field updated the purchase order number however while doing t.code MIRO  with same GL account assignment filed is blank.

    Hi Gemini,
    Sort key does no magic, it populates value from the original field from the same line item only.
    Taking this as an example...First check that PO field is populated in the Vendor Line item then only sort key will be able to populate the field else it will be blank.
    I don't think system populated PO field in the vendor line item.
    If you want to meet your requirement and contact your ABAPer and write a Substitution User-exit to populate PO Number into assignment field.

  • About account assignment group in Sales Order.

    Hi gurus,
    I am working in SD for the first time and I am facing below problem
    1. Material code was created  with account assignment group (MVKE-KTGRM)  as blank (Sales Org 2 view)
    2. Later this material was entered in Sales Order.
    3. Subsequently Sales Order BOM and Production Order were made against this material.
    4. We maintained account assignment group in material master after creation of Sales order but account assignment group was not updated in Sales Order.
    5. Now the field is gray out or non-editable is there any way by which we can maintain account assignment group in the sales order.
    6. As the field is non editable we are unable to do Invoice by VF01.
    Is there any way by which we can maintain account assignment group in Sales Order??

    As you have mentioned that you have maintained the acct assignment grp in the material master after the order was created, it will not appear in the sales order item already created and it will only reflect in new orders and changes to existing orders for that material.
    Proposed solution:
    If it is order related billing that you are doing, then goto VA02 and delete and re-enter the item with same material and qty.
    The account assignment group will appear.
    If the item is delivery related and if the delivery has already been created but PGi not done, then delete the delivery and then delete the item in the sales order and re-enter the item as told above. If PGI also done, then reverse the PGI, delete the delivery and re-enter as suggestd in above scenarios.
    The account assignment group will appear in the billing document document tab in item level.

    I have created PO doc type as ZCAP (for Capital items).whenever we select this doc type we have to select account assignment "A" in Acc.*** Category field in PO line item.As it is manual entry, user (by mistake) is giving "K" instead of "A".
    My question how can i make "A" as default to doc type ZCAP.so that whenever we select ZCAP, automatically acc.assign "A" should come and all other account  assignment categories should be deleted.
    plz suggest me some way.

    There is no standard configuration to control the account assignment with Purchase order document type. Purchase order document type is an header level control where as the account assignment is Item level comtrol.
    You need to use Badi to control the account assignemnt category at PO line item level with reference to the PO document type.

  • Material Account Assignment Group, in Sales Order Mass Update

    Sd Experts,
    We just went live, our consultant updated Account assignment group at the material level but did not updated existing materials. When we caught the problem and updated exisisting materials there were some existing orders already created. Which now I am getting an account determination error due to this field being empty at the material level.
    We have some sales orders that I need to update but they are just too many, currently I have been fixing them thru VF02, for to the material and update manually.
    Does anyone has any idea how to mass update this field for all existing orders, to update "Account Assignment Group" field automatically

    In Mass transaction choose object type as #BUS2032,after executing in the next screen from the tables choose#Sales Order Item Data, and from the fields choose#AcctAssgGr (MASSSDHE)-MASSSDHEAD_S-KTGRD, now execute to find fields Sales document and Sales Document item , here load all the Sales Orders for which the change is needed along with the items for which the changes are needed execute again to find the next screen with Sales Documet, Sales Document item and Account assignment which needed to be changed,now select the entire block enter new values in the Account assignment  box in the above, click on the 'Carry out MAss change button ' and then save, it will take some time basing the change tobe carried and issues a log as to how many documents were changed

    PR is created from work order having account assignment category as "F" and Work order has Outline agreement which having the account assignment category as "U" .when i am trying to convert the PR TO PO system throw pop up messsage for input account assignment as PR having assignment category as "F" and account assignment as Order number eventhogh while PR TO PO conversion its is asking me account assignment .it should automaticaly coppied from PR.but it is not happening.Please suggest any clue for this strange system behaviour.

    Assign the required Item category to AAC category & try.

In u201Caccount  assignmentu201D the system only allow to fill the fields u201Cfunds centeru201D, and   the u201Ccommitment itemu201D but as the purchase is to INVESTMENT I need to fill the field FUNDED PROGRAM too. I haven´t internal order (CO) and project (wbs element) to do one derivation in this point of process (these objects will be create during the business process).  I have already tried to use the fields of FMDERIVE´s trace but unfortunately any combination help me to define the Funded Program.

    I want also to share with you some information about Funded Programs.
    Funded programs are used mainly as FM account assignment elements, in the same way as funds, funds centers, commitment items, and functional areas are. Budget can be entered for them and monitored in them.
    You can enter the funded program directly in budgeting, but when you are using the funded program in integrated postings, it is not possible to enter the funded program directly. This is the system design.
    The funded program uses much of the functionality of the Business Data Toolset (BDT). If you want to customize the funded program master data, you should be familiar with the BDT.
    The use of funded program as part of FM account assignment for budgeting, can cause performance issues (posting and reports).
    SAP recommends that:
    a. Funded Program must be derived using rules specified in the FM derivation tool (FMDERIVE);
    b. While you can use any operative element as the source for deriving funded programs, we strongly recommend that you use only WBS elements, orders, or networks.

    Hey Experts,
    When I change the account assignment group (AcctAssgGr) in DBM order split screen for the customer in the transaction level it is not taking the changed accont assignment group. Basically I want to overwrite the account assignment group given in the customer master record. Please advice.
    This requirment is basically since the customer is defined as a credit customer, but at times the customer will have cash sale transactions as well. Thus the account that needs to be posted is different. For this I need to change the account assignment group in the transaction level without changing the master record.

    yes I found that this is standard behavior programmed, i.e. AAG is picked from customer master while passing to billing document. Only way I think is to use user exit

    i'm very new to SRM please help me
    We require all non-direct material shopping carts to be ordered with a valid account assignment. Therefore we implemented BADi ZUB2MB_DP_PROD_CHK to suppress the u201COrder as Direct Materialu201D Button. This button allows any order to be placed without account assignment like a direct material.
    We started ordering direct materials in SRM at go-live with a cost center, but when they were received, SAP considered them consumed due to the account assignment and did not place them into QA Inspection or assign a batch. We immediately, switched back to SAP for direct materials.
    We need a solution that will require all non direct material shopping carts to have account assignments, while allowing direct materials to be ordered with or without account assignments. All while keeping the current checks in place regarding the mixing of account assignments, Z required for TBI catalogs, etc.
    please tell me how to write the logic in the DOC_CHEK_BADI  to check weather account assignment is made for non-direct material while creating a shopping cart.

  • Account assignment Category is not popping up for one User

    User is trying to create the SC, but there is no Account assignment category( Cost center, WBS…) being displayed when I try to search the Acc assignment category, it gives the results without any values. There is no values for Category field for the SC cart.
    I verified the attributes for me and user, everything looks same.
    Please advise.

    In the PO account assignment category should be 'X'.
    When I create invoice using MIRO ,when I enter PO numver in the invoice, then the item is in disable mode.I am not able to edit price or quantity in the invoice.

    populate the values using Call transaction or batch input method by recording the overall flow of your transaction. It would be consistent and flow remains in your control.
