Account Balance Reset on its Own before buying music

I just tried purchasing an album for $9.99. Before making this purchase I had a store credit balance of a little over $13.00. When I clicked the "buy album" button, it knocked my available total down to $8.80 and took me to credt card information to make up the difference.
Anyone else experiencing this?

The first thing you need to do is if the computer that you are using is shared among your family - make sure that you are signed into your own account. You can tell if you are in your own account by clicking on the iTunes Store on the left hand side. Then on the top right under the search will be your account name. In the same area right next to your name will show how much is on the account.
If it is not your screen name there, sign out. You would do this by going to the store menu then click sign out. Then click on the store menu again & click sign in. If the account balance is still incorrect at this point I would other Chat with the iTunes Store Billing Department or email them. Try using the following link. At the bottom of the page it will show a "Chat Now" or "Contact Us" Button.

Blackberry 8530 constantly resets on its own.

I own a blackberry 8530 and it contstantly resets on its own at least 5 times a day. The screen goes black, the red light goes on and then the screen shows up with a loading bar. when it turns back on it verifies security and then it works. sometimes It will work for about a minute and reset again .
if anyone knows any way I can solve this problem I would very much appriciate it.

My U-Verse RG keeps pausing and resetting on its own...

I've only had U-Verse for about 3 weeks now, and since it was installed the RG regularly pauses or freezes during live TV, on demand programs, and DVR recordings. Sometimes it will unfreeze quickly (less than 30 seconds), which isn't a huge deal but is annoying. Many times, however, it will reset entirely. Again, this wouldn't be a huge deal (though very inconvenient) if it reset quickly. But there are times when the cable will stay out for 30 minutes at a time. I can do a power cycle and get it back up and running if it won't reset on its own, but this isn't something I anticipated having to do a few times a week. What's really weird is that sometimes the main TV (the one in our living room that is directly connected to the RG) will be frozen while the bedroom TV (connected through wifi) works perfectly fine. The internet is also working perfectly when these issues happen. Does anyone have any idea why this keeps happening? I've seen a LOT of posts about U-Verse doing this, and I certainly wouldn't have signed a year long contract if I'd known this was a recurring issue for U-Verse users. My fiance's parents have U-Verse and we've never seen this sort of thing happen on their TV. :-/ Any help would be appreciated!

Pull the plug on the DVR and STBs.
Pull the power plug on the RG and wait 10-15 secs.
Plug the RG back in and wait for all lights to come back on.
Plug in the DVR next. Wait for it to become active and then plug in any STBs, one at a time.

I had my iTunes and library on my home computer. The computer crapped out along with the hard drive. I have my library on my iPod and want to put it on my new computer, but any time I connect the iPod to my home computer (and work computer for that matter), it only connects for about 5 seconds and then disconnects on its own. I go to look at the iPod as a hard drive and I have nothing but empty folders (contacts, calendar, recordings and something else), but nothing is in them.
1) How do I get my iPod to connect to my computer?
2) How do I get my iPod to connect to iTunes?
3) Why don't my music files on my iPod show up on my computer?
I have uninstalled iTunes and reinstalled iTunes. I have done the "trick" of hitting the 'Menu and Center' buttons at the same time unitl the Apple icon appears. I have tried going into Disk Mode. I don't know what to do now. The word "Resetting" scares me because this is where I have my 150 GB of music stored and I'd rather not have to upload my CD's again.............will resetting affect that? The word "Restore" is even scarier!!!

i am using a cable connector like this one.. it works with audio when pluged into a stereo but not a TV.i am trying to display video from ipod, also from other apps.. i also want to know why it does not work.

2 iPhone on same ATT account with each having its own iTunes account

I want to add another line to my existing att account, but I want each phone to have its own itunes account. In another words, I dont want the other person with the other phone syncing to my itunes.

Create a computer login account for this person and their iPhone. Each user login account has their own home folder/directory and data stored within kept separate and protected from other users.

Is it possible to take an alias from my .Mac/iCloud account and make it its own iCloud account?

I have an "alias" email under my main .Mac/Me/iCloud email address and account. I am hoping to separate this account to its own Me/iCloud account, but cannot find any information in the FAQs on this. Any help? Thank you!

I'm afraid this is not possible. Once created, an alias is permanently tied to the account that created it, even after it's been deleted, and cannot be moved to another account nor turned into a separate ID.

Iphone reset on its own

Hi my IPhone 4 which is registerred to me and only owned by me was reset and wiped last night
all i had was a email from find my phone saying initiating remote wipe !!!
i did not request this i have never lost my phone in fact i was using it at the time
has this happened before and how to i prevent it
i lost all data on my phone and had to back up from cloud but this means i lost 2 days of photos etc

That would indicate that someone knows your Apple ID & password, and logged into iCloud.com and initiated such. You need to change your password immediately to something much stronger...at least 9 characters...upper/lower case & numbers.

I couldn't remember the answers to my security question and tried to answer them too many times so my Apple ID locked...

If you've disabled your account then you might be able to re-enable it via this page : http://appleid.apple.com, then 'reset your password'
You might then need to log out of your account on any iOS devices that you have by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store (Settings > Store on iOS 5 and below) and then log back in so as to 'refresh' the account on them.
For your security questions, if you have a rescue email address on your account (an alternate email address is different) then you can use that to reset them : If you forgot the answers to your Apple ID security questions.
If you don't have a rescue email address (you won't be able to add one until you can answer your questions) then you will have to contact Support in your country to get the questions reset - which is likely to be by phone as they need to confirm your id and that it's your account. They should also be able to re-enable your account if you can't do so via the above.

TimeCapsule seems to reset on its own

My Time Capsule 1 gb has this annoying habit of intermittently flashing amber. My DSL connection is still OK. AFter a few minutes the light turns green and as is well. Please advise

This sounds like you may be losing your internet connection on an intermittent basis.
Depending on how you have your Time Capsule configured to connect to the internet, there may be a few settings that you can check.
If you open AirPort Utility and click Manual Setup, and then click the Internet icon at the top of the setup screen, what setting do you see for Connect Using?

HT1766 hi i am very dissapointed with my i phone i went on a six day holiday and of course i took several photos and videos... i was then using facebook on my i phone and all of a sudden the phone reset by its own and i lost all of the information..

Oh boy! Acting kind of weird seems to be an understatement, aquaequus!
What type of troubleshooting were we able to do with you? I want to make sure that we can get some sort of resolution for this problem.
It is quite possible the battery door may get your phone in working order again. I'm not sure if the store has it in stock, but it is available in our warehouse for $14.99 which can be ordered via customer service.

Want to have password required before buying music

Currently I have ITunes set up so that you can automatically purchase music on my computer without typing in a password. My kids are having a joyride with this. Can someone tell me how to make it so that a password must be entered before a song can be purchased? Thanks!

IPhone deleting photos on its own, not playing music.

First, some of my photos randomly wouldn't play on my iPhone. Then, whenever I tried to play a song, there was a little pink square next to it with a circle around it. I restored the phone, tried to sync it, but it said that I had nothing to restore to from iCloud (although right before I restored it, my phone said that I had a backup that I could use from February 25th). I tried to sync the phone to my computer, but iTunes froze on "Waiting to sync," after I updated my iTunes operating system, and now, when I go to my photos, my phone deleting all of them. The number of photos is slowly going down one by one. I am not a happy camper- about to call Apple and complain because this is ridiculous.

Take the phone into an Apple store and have it evaluated. If it is under warranty it will be replaced for no cost. Out of warranty you can a replacement for $269.00. Had this happen to an iPad and the issue was with the digitizer on the screen.
You could also force a restart on the phone by holding the power and home button until the Apple logo appears. Next option is to do a DFU restore. Best bet is an Apple store.

You can't. The only way to get songs in the Music app is to sync from a computer or to download from iTunes.

I would like to get my own account because I just want to have an independent account for myself. and so i can get other ipods. The music and apps you downloaded through your mother's account will always be associated with her account. You can't transfer them to another account that you create for yourself. I suppose this is a corporate restriction which was designed to prevent one user from sharing/transfering Apps and tunes to other users. From a business and legal perspective, it makes sense because developers of apps and the producers of music are required to receive their royalties for their products each time they are sold/downloaded.

Account balance out of date

Has anyone else had account balance out of date error before! I lost almost 7 dollars off of a new Itunes gift card after redemption!

Mine is doing the same thing, half an hour ago I redeemed 30$ in iTunes gift cards and now I'm trying to buy music and it keeps saying, credit balance out of date
