Account in FISL infosource

Dear Experts,
I need your help.
the online help does not show account infoobject for FI-SL totals or line item data.
there is  only a 'chart of account' characteristic infoobject.
I think the source R/3 FISL tables have account field and document identifier field. Would BW show account information after extraction? can more characteristics be added to the list shown in the online help ?
Please, I hope for your advise.
Best regards
Adette

Dear Experts,
I really have urgent need to clear my doubts on FISL, having not done this before and no system to look at. So, please please could you render some help. I just need some confirmation here and there.
From my BW materials, it does not show account field info. Which is what I cannot understand. Does this mean All ledger info is aggregated at client + ledger + record type + version + fiscal year level?
Special ledger. what does it mean in layman's term ? Without account, does this mean the data extracted is not Balance Sheet nor P&L data? So, what data is this represent?
Please help me thank you. I duely award points.
Best Regards

  • Query on delta process

    Hi BW Experts,
For AP(Accounts payable),AR(Accounts receivable) we can run delta process to pick delta records. How?
Could anyone please let me know?
    Thanks

FI extractors are worked on after image delta. The extraction procedure delivered with BW Release 2.0B, based on DataSources 0FI_AR_3 and 0FI_AP_3 , can be replaced. This is described in note 0410797. The decisive advantage of choosing R/3 line item tables as the data source is that extra fields can be transferred to the BW. These were not available with transaction figures from table GLTO, the previous R/3 data source in General Ledger Accounting FI-GL. This provides more extensive and flexible analysis in BW. To enable you to assure consistent Delta data, four new InfoSources are provided in the OLTP system (with the corresponding DataSources and extractors in the SAP R/3 system): Application InfoSource Description FI-GL 0FI_GL_4 General Ledger: Line Items FI-AP 0FI_AP_4 Accounts Payable: Line Items (Extraction Linked to 0FI_GL_4) FI-AR 0FI_AR_4 Accounts Receivable: Line Items (Extraction Linked to 0FI_GL_4) FI-TX 0FI_TAX_4 General Ledger: Data for Tax on Sales/Purchases For the General Ledger, selection is made from tables BKPF and BSEG, while selection for the subsidiary accounts is made from tables BSID/BSAD (Accounts Receivable) and BSIK/BSAK (Accounts Payable). InfoSource 0FI_GL_4 transfers only those fields that are relevant for General Ledger Accounting from the Financial Accounting document (tables BKPF and BSEG) to the BW system. The consisten recording of data from General Ledger Accounting and Subledger Accounting is provided by means of coupled delta extraction in the time stamp procedure. General ledger accounting is the main process in delta mode and provides subsidiary ledger extraction with time stamp information (time intervals of previously selected general ledger line items). This time stamp information can also be used for a loading history: this shows which line items have previously been extracted from the SAP R/3 system. Delta Method Delta extraction enables you to load into the BW system only that data that has been added or has changed since the last extraction event. Data that is already loaded and is not changed is retained. This data does not need to be deleted before a new upload. This procedure enables you to improve performance unlike the periodic extraction of the overall dataset. Financial Accounting line items are read by extractors directly from the tables in the SAP R/3 system. A time stamp on the line items serves to identify the status of the delta data. Time stamp intervals that have already been read are then stored in a time stamp table. The delta dataset is transferred to the BW system directly, without records being transferred to the delta queue in the SAP R/3 system (extraktor delta method). The Financial Accounting line items are extracted from the SAP R/3 system in their most recent status (after-image delta method). This data method is not suitable for filling InfoCubes directly in the BW system. To start with therefore, the line items must be loaded in the BW system in an ODS object that identifies the changes made to individual characteristics and key figures within a delta data record. Other data destinations (InfoCubes) can be provided with data from this ODS object. Time Stamp Method With Financial Accounting line items that have been posted in the SAP R/3 system since the last data request, the extractors identify the following delta dataset using the time stamp in the document header (BKPF-CPUDT). When a delta dataset has been selected successfully, the SAP R/3 system logs two time stamps that delimit a selection interval for a DataSource in table BWOM2_TIMEST: Field Name Key Description MANDT X Client OLTPSOURCE X DataSource AEDAT X SYSTEM: Date AETIM X SYSTEM: Time UPDMODE Data update mode (full, delta, deltainit) TS_LOW Lower limit of the time selection (time stamp in seconds since 1.1.1990) TS_HIGH Upper limit of the time selection (time stamp in seconds since 1.1.1990) LAST_TS Flag: 'X' = Last time stamp interval of the delta extraction TZONE Time zone DAYST Daylight saving time active? The time stamps are determined from the system date and time and converted to the format seconds since 1.1.1990, taking into account the time zone and daylight saving time. To ensure correct and unique reconversion to date and time, the time zone and daylight saving time must be stored in table BWOM2_TIMEST. Table BWOM2_TIMEST therefore serves to document the loading history of Financial Accounting line items. It also provides defined restart points following incorrect data requests. To provide a better overview, the time stamps in the example table are entered in the date format. The columns TZONE and DAYST were left out. OLTPSOURCE AEDAT/AETIM UPD DATE_LOW DATE_HIGH LAST_TS 0FI_GL_4 16 May 2000/20:15 Init 01 Jan. 1990 15 May 2000 0FI_GL_4 24 May 2000/16:59 Delta 16 May 2000 23 May 2000 0FI_GL_4 02 June 2000/21:45 Delta 24 June 2000 01 June 2000 0FI_GL_4 15 June 2000/12:34 Delta 02 June 2000 14 June 2000 0FI_GL_4 21 June 2000/18:12 Delta 15 June 2000 20 June 2000 X 0FI_AP_4 18 May 2000/21:23 Init 01 Jan. 1990 15 May 2000 0FI_AP_4 30 May 2000/12:48 Delta 16 May 2000 23 May 2000 0FI_AP_4 10 June 2000/13:19 Delta 24 June 2000 01 June 2000 X 0FI_AR_4 17 May 2000/18:45 Init 01 Jan. 1990 15 May 2000 0FI_AR_4 04 June 2000/13:32 Delta 16 May 2000 01 June 2000 0FI_AR_4 16 June 2000/15:41 Delta 02 June 2000 14 June 2000 X 0FI_TX_4 17 May 2000/18:45 Init 01 Jan. 1990 15 May 2000 0FI_TX_4 04 June 2000/13:32 Delta 16 May 2000 01 June 2000 0FI_TX_4 16 June 2000/15:41 Delta 02 June 2000 14 June 2000 X Constraints Per day, no more than one delta dataset can be transferred for InforSource 0FI_GL_4. The extracted data therefore has the status of the previous day. For further data requests on the same day, the InfoSource does not provide any data. In delta mode, data requests with InfoSource 0FI_AR_4 and InfoSource 0FI_AP_4 do not provide any data if no new extraction has taken place with InfoSource 0FI_GL_4 since the last data transfer. This ensures that the data in the BW system for Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable Accounting is exactly as up to date as the data for General Ledger Accounting. If you delete the initialization selection in the source system for InfoSource 0FI_GL_4 in the BW system Administrator Workbench, the time stamp entries for InfoSources 0FI_GL_4, 0FI_AP_4, 0FI_AR_4 and OFI_TX_4 are also removed from table BWOM2_TIMEST. Recording Changed Line Items In the case of Financial Accounting line items that have been changed since the last data request in the SAP R/3 system, there is no reliable time stamp that can document the time of the last change. For this reason, all line items that are changed in a way relevant for BW must be logged in the SAP R/3 system

  • CO-PA  Account Base

I've search the entire SDN, there seem to be no one with real answere to this:
-After I generated the COPA Datasource (account base), on the BW side, you replicate, create infosource and eventualy create a COPA cube.
The problem is this; the cube has no keyfigure. So how do we get the keyfugure created or assing for the account base. The cost base has keyfigure but not account base.
-Is there anything I needed to do in R3 side to generate DS that carries value field(keyfigure)?
-Am I suppose to create my keyfigure in BW and if so, how will that be done (please give practical cases)?
-Is there standard KF to be activated?
    Your help is respectfully acpreciated.

SAP delivers only a select set of key figure schema. So that you can map the source fields to this corresponding fields.
SBIW - application specfic DS - profitability analysis - Assign key figures.
Other than that you need to create ur own KF's and units for all the value fields.

  • Short dump error with InfoSource

    Hi All,
When i try to open Accounts Payable Infosource in BW production, It is returning with the short dump error ' Assertion was violated'.
R_AWBOBJ ->. may I know what is this error.
I created generic datasource in ECC DEV and replicated into BW DEV system, After that I created necessary infoobjects, infosource, transformations, ODS, DTP, InfoPackage and loaded data into it under Accounte Payable in BW DEV. Everything was fine, So I released  every object into production successfully.
I asked our network guy to move them into production, When he try to move them they are returning with the errors. Which doesn't happen before. Is this anything effected with the existed AP infosource in production as i explained above error? But still these are not moved into production.I released generic datasource from ECC DEV to ECC PRD.
Data loading was stopped for Line Items DSO under Accounts Payable, Because of these process chains were failed.
Please let me know where i did wrong or what steps i have to follow further. We are on BI7.0 systems.
We recently installed our BI systems.
Please help me anyone ASAP, I appreciated any help.
    Thanks,
    Aparna.

    HI,
If I can understand properly the infosource is the generated object from DSO begnining with 8*? updating AP DSO?
Or it is the self created infsource updating the AP DSO??
What I can understand is you already had a flow in production which was working fine.
Then you did some development inculding a new DSO...this new DSO contained some infoobject fields  common with the already live AP DSO in production.
new DSO transport failed in production and becasue of which the data loads to the old AP DSO in production has stopped.
The issue could be that since the transport failed... these infoobjects are into incosistent state.
check these common infoobjects in prodution first.
All I can suggest is transport the DSO again production for AP DSO so that its in consistent state along with the infoobjects.
The infoobjects must be consistent for the DSO, generated data source and infosource to work properly.
Eeen if the infosource is generated one( 8*XXXXXX) transport the respective DSO again in production along with required infoobjects.
Transport the cutomized infosource as well if created.
    Thanks

  • G/L Accounts: Line Items (Direct)

    Hi experts,
in BI, we are using VIRTUAL cube G/L Accounts: Line Items, which is based on DTP, using data source 0FI_GL_40. We have enhanced extractor, using user exit, to populate some fields, which have been empty (vendor and customer number on G/L account). Now, extractor is working properly and the fields are populated, also seen in BI report, when using - REPLICATED data (from DSO). But when we use VIRTUAL provider (cube), the fields are empty.
It seems to me like VIRTUAL info providers BASED on DTP "don't go through" user exit. I would like to ask whether this can be handled somehow, so that are fields populated through user exit, will be seen also usin virtual provider, not replicated data.
    Thanks in advance.
    Peter

    Hello Dennis,
thanks for the tip, your assumption is right, it's regarding 0FIGL_V40 in BI 7.0. Could you please be more detailed, which BW 3.x InfoSource do you mean? Or what exactly has to be done?
The "objects" under this InfoCube are - transformation, datasource (0FI_GL_40) and InfoPackage, that's it. When I check InfoCube Type/Namespace - it is based on Data Transfer Process for DirectAccess, but the checkbox With InfoSource 3.x is not checked..
Thank you in advance for your answer.

  • FI - AP ( Accounts Payable) implementation -  Please help

    Hi,
We are planning to implement the FI-AP now and we have the following questions.
    1. We have already implemented FI-AR, AR- Credit Management, FSCM ( Collection and Dispute Management) and PCA ( Profit Center Accounting). Can we use any of these modules to integrate with FI-AP?
    2. We don't have FI-GL or FI-SL yet.  Is this mandatory that we need to implement FI-GL or FI-SL before we implement FI-AP?  If yes, how it is  related?
    3.  What is the effort we can plan to implement only the standard FI-AP business content? Do we need to do any configuaration in ECC6 side for this or simply implementing Business content will take care of FI-AP related information?
    Advance Thanks,
    BW Learner

    1) FIAP is a separate subledger in FI.... when you say integrate? how would you want to integrate...
you cal always get Multiproviders to integrate any info (logical offcourse) you want. we have integrated FIAP with SCM cubes.
    2) the new FIAP delta extractors can be used independently with out FIGL or FISL. So, you can implement FIAP before implementing FIGL or FISL.
    3) only FIAP business content setup can be done in a day... you dont need any special setup in ECC side... just activate BC extractors and off you go
    Thanks

  • Error FAGL_SKF008 when loading data from 0FI_GL_8 infosource

    Hi,
I am loading data into an infocube, from 0FI_GL_8 infosource.
We have connected ECC-P with BI-D and BI-P.
When loading data into BI-D works Ok, but when loading data into BI-P, the next error message appears:
"No authorization for displaying statistical key figures in General Ledger"
    "FAGL_SKF  8"
I cheked ST22 and SM21 in ECC-P and there is no error message.
I cheked rfcuser in ECC-P and it has SAP_ALL.
    any ideas???

Do a comparison of the Authorization Objects assigned to the account for your BI-D extractions and that for BI-P. Since the source system is the same and the authorizations are there for BI-D, it sounds as if there's gaps in the Authorization Object assignements for one or more of the Profiles assigned to the system account for BI-P.
The other thing would be to create a test account that looks like the system account for BI-P, logon with that account, do an RSA3 extraction test and if it fails get a screenshot from tcode SU53 to see what Authorization Objects are missing to be authorized to hit that data.

  • BW FIAA Asset accounting

    Hi gurus,
I am trying to initiate delta for master data ASSET_ATTR_TEXT so that I will be able to initiate delta for 0FI_AA_11 and 0FI_AA_12, but this error came up "BAdl Implementation FIAA_BW_DELTA_UPDATE inactive in source system DEV"
How do I activate the delta update in the source system?
    Thanks

    check the following Notes.
    Check these OSS Notes - 828240, 688477 and 590034,599896
    Note Pasted below :
When you load the delta-enabled InfoSources of asset accounting, no time stamp information is updated in the OLTP system if you have selected "Simulation of the delta process initialization" (initialization without data transfer; technical mode 'S') as the update mode.
    This affects the InfoSources:
    1. 0ASSET_ATTR_TEXT
    2. 0ASSET_AFAB_ATTR
    3. 0FI_AA_11
    4. 0FI_AA_12
As a result of the error, you cannot start delta extraction after the initialization without data transfer because the delta extractor does not find any time stamp information it can use.
    Other terms
    RSA3, BWOM2_TIMEST, delta, DeltaInit, BWFIT, 0FI_GL_4, BWFIT_GET_TIMESTAMPS, BWFIT_RESET_TIMESTAMPS, BWFIT_UPDATE_TIMESTAMPS
    Reason and Prerequisites
    a) The problem is caused by a program error.
    b) The 'FIAA_BW_DELTA_UPDATE' BADI is not active.
    Solution
For a: Implement the source code corrections to create a correct time stamp for the initialization without data transfer.
For b: For a data extraction to the BW system according to the delta method, the 'FIAA_BW_DELTA_UPDATE' BADI must be active. When assets are changed, this BADI writes the corresponding change entries which are read by the extractors to determine the delta values. If this BADI is not active, the extraction terminates with error BWFIAA 001 (BAdI implementation FIAA_BW_DELTA_UPDATE inactive in source system). During a DeltaInit extraction with data transfer, the system flags the data request as incorrect or canceled in the monitor and issues the error message. However, during the DeltaInit extraction without data transfer, the system does not issue an error in the BW system even though the extractor triggered an error message and the termination of the extraction in the OLTP system. The data request in the BW system has the status 'successful' and the user cannot see that an error has occurred. However, a time stamp is not created in these cases since the following delta extractions would cause inconsistencies because the BADI would not be able to log all changes that have occurred since the last extraction.

  • Jabber Options - Phone Accounts - Voicemail -- "Spinning Wheel"

Been trying to resolve a nagging issue.   We currently have CUCM 8.6.2-20000-2, CUPS 8.6.4-10000-28 and just put up Unity Conn 9.1.  Jabber Win clients are 9.2(1).   Several people have not been able to integrate voicemail into the Jabber client.
We are totally MS AD integrated.   In CUPS, I had Applications -> Cisco Jabber -> Settiings  Credentials Used For Voicemail service set to CUPS so the user would not need to supply credentials.  To help me debug, I went and changed this setting to "Not Set" so that the Phone Accounts option appears in Jabber 4 Win client.
So far all the people who do not work access the Phone Accounts setting in the Jabber client see the "Spinning Wheel".   They can't see the fields to enter their AD creds and the voicemail server.   Reinstall of the client does not seem to help.  There seemed to be a bug that described this but I think it was fixed in 9.1(2).  You can't display the Bug description because it contains proprietary info.
I have attached a screen shot of my Jabber Client Phone Account -- when I enter the credentials, I log in fine.
Anyone seen this or know how to fix?
    TIA --- Perry

Well, I had TAC look at this issue. Short story is that it was an issue with one of the *many* local cache files which hid the real source of the problem.  I actually had the Mailstore misconfgured in CUPS.  I used the Exchange server's CAS IP instead of Unity Connection.   We created new Mailstore definition that used the Unity Conn IP's, created a new Voicemail Profile and associated the user to that profile.   She worked....
I deleted my all my Jabber for Windows local cache files and I then received the "spining wheel" issue.  I moved my ID to the new Voicemail Profile with correct Mailstore and I could connect fine.   TAC spent an hour pouring through files on my PC and could not find the reason why my ID was working.   TAC indicates that in 9.x, a lot of this configuration moves to CUCM and hopefully cuts down on these issues!  PRT files from the Jabber client really did not assist them in locating the problem.
    Hope this helps....

  • How do multiple family members use iTunes.? One account or multiple?

How do multiple family members use iTunes. One account right now but apps gets added to all devices and iTunes messages go to all devices.  Can multiple accounts be setup and still have ability to share purchased items?

    Hey Ajtt!
I have an article for you that can help inform you about using Apple IDs in a variety of ways:
Using your Apple ID for Apple services
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4895
Using one Apple ID for iCloud and a different Apple ID for Store Purchases
You can use different Apple IDs for iCloud and Store purchases and still get all of the benefits of iCloud. Just follow these steps:
    iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch:
When you first set up your device with iOS 5 or later, enter the Apple ID you want to use with iCloud. If you skipped the setup assistant, sign in to Settings > iCloud and enter the Apple ID you’d like to use with iCloud.
In Settings > iTunes and App Stores, sign in with the Apple ID you want to use for Store purchases (including iTunes in the Cloud and iTunes Match). You may need to sign out first to change the Apple ID.
    Mac:
Enter the Apple ID you want to use for iCloud in Apple () menu > System Preferences > iCloud.
Enter the Apple ID you want to use for Store purchases (including iTunes in the Cloud and iTunes Match) in Store > Sign In. In iTunes 11, you can also click iTunes Store > Quick Links: Account.
    PC (Windows 8):
Enter the Apple ID you want to use for iCloud in the Control Panel. To access the iCloud Control Panel, move the pointer to the upper-right corner of the screen to show the Charms bar, click the Search charm, and then click the iCloud Control Panel on the left.
Enter the Apple ID you want to use for Store purchases (including iTunes in the Cloud and iTunes Match) in iTunes. In iTunes 10, select Store > Sign In. In iTunes 11, click iTunes Store > Quick Links: Account.
    PC (Windows 7 and Vista):
Enter the Apple ID you want to use for iCloud in Control Panel > Network and Internet > iCloud.
Enter the Apple ID you want to use for Store purchases (including iTunes in the Cloud and iTunes Match) in iTunes 10 in Store > Sign In. In iTunes 11, click iTunes Store > Quick Links: Account.
Note: Once a device or computer is associated with your Apple ID for your iTunes Store account, you cannot associate that device or computer with another Apple ID for 90 days. Learn more about associating a device or computer to your Apple ID.
Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities!
    Cheers,

  • Can my family members share our purchases on separate computers with separate accounts?

We have several apple products in our home and a  new one today.  Is it possible to use these products on different computers sharing all of our purhcases or do we need to stay on one computer on one account?  I know we can do that with the home sharing, but we don't all want all the same things, just some of the purchases.

Use Find My Friends app instead.   Much easier to manage, and you won't need each other's id/pw's to do it.   They only need to accept your invitations and vice versa.

  • How can I create a new iCloud account for a familiy member having a new iDevice and reuse one of my aliases for it

    Hi there,
I moved into iCloud from the very beginning and started with one iCloud account for me and my family, making use of email aliases for family members. Now the number of personal iDevices grows and I want to create a new and separate iCloud Account for my son. The pity is, that I reserved his full name already as alias address on my initial iCloud account. If I now delete this alias, can I create a new account with the former alias as new primary email address?
Or is there at least any transfer procedure supported for aliases between different accounts?
    Thanks for your help, lauterbachj

Couldn't agree more... the folks who are getting penalized for this are the early adopters of .Mac/iCloud dating from the days when the only way to implement a "family" account was to use aliases. Now all my kids' / my wife's name aliases sit in my account, unable to move. I guess the good news is that if I delete them nobody else will get them, but this seems a pretty poor consolation.
Would it really be so difficult to implement a "move this alias to another iCloud account" option that requires the "sender" and "receiver" to exchange some sort of code to implement the transation in order to prevent fraud?

My original behance account used an email address that was not linked to my Adobe ID so I ended up creating a new account by accident when prompted by the "Use your Adobe ID below to log in to Behance from now on." Now I can't use my name and I can't access anything from my old account.
